We found Tandy Leather, and with the emense help of CJ, we made that rockstar dream a reality.When someone takes your dream, makes it their own, and goes on a nationwide cowhide hunt to find and match an abstract artistic vision; you hug that person, thank them profusely, and know that your life is forever better for having met them.

We made a trip to this store and were greeted and treated very rudely so we went to Fred’s leather store in Lake city where we were warmly welcomed and spent 647 dollars on supplies. I will never go back to this place.

My Tandy is great. Its clean and organized. Customer service is always A++++. They have a large variety at really great prices! Been visit for quite a few years!

Always love visiting Tandy the staff is super nice and helpful, they typically have what i need, covid made it difficult for a while but they are finally building stock back up. I recommend visiting if your looking to start working leather or already a pro and need supplies.

Great customer service best place to find a large variety of leather

I walked in and explained that I am new to leather and I had 1,000 questions. The customer service I received was far beyond my expectations! The worker who helped me really took the time to listen to me and walked me around the store to show me everything I asked about. I will absolutely be purchasing from this store every time I can.

My experience here was as good as I could have wanted. I was there to buy leather for the first time to try and make a wallet and misc. items. Andi was the one who helped me and he gave me great information for knowledge sake and did NOT try to upsell me, he actually helped me find leather cheaper for my desired use. Great experience.

A well stocked store and extremely friendly staff!Conveniently located. Its easy to make the drive from Alachua County.Leather being something you need to see in person to purchase, its nice to go in and select the best piece for your needs.It was great to Neat Lac back on the shelf! I havent seen that in a Tandy store in over a decade!!Also, Tandy makes pricing competitive. They offer several pricing levels but also extend their Elite pricing to all first responders, military service members and veterans.Today that saved me almost $200!!

Two times in a row this Tandy store has been out of the basic edge slicker for beveling. This may sound like a small thing, but this is like Home Depot running out of hammers! Its a BASIC tool that they should have plenty of! I was told that they go quickly - then ORDER MORE of them. This isnt the only item this happens to either.The staff here has never been very friendly or knowledgeable. I decided Id rather order from somewhere else online and wait, rather than continue the guessing game I have to play with this shop. I miss the Denver store :/

The staff here were extremely helpful and willing to answer any of my questions. It was a great place to go if you know about leather, or even if you know nothing and want to learn because the staff were more than willing to explain everything.

First time ever visiting one and the manager was awesome. Im starting to make leather armor for some medievl events and he was very knowledgeable in guiding me to the right tools and techniques.

The store was nicely laid out, and staff was super helpful. They let us know about everything we asked. Informed us about all specials, and were egar to offer any help with teaching. I would really reccommend to anyone interested in leather work to go here and take a look.

While others might have more experience with Tandy, I have only been there twice so far. Located in a semi-industrial park it has a uniform look to those around it, but Tandy is visible from the street.Tandy has a wide assortment of different products there, from full hair-on hides to saddle leather, bevelers to stamps, and sewing machines to riveters.Other than wearing leather, I had done nothing creative with leather before last month. The staff up there walked me around the store and took the time to explain all of the various products and how to use them.I attended a class yesterday (11/17/18) on leather painting and dying. While my artistic skills may be lacking, I had fun and learned a lot. There is a class scheduled basically every week and most seem to be free. Kudos to Andi for making the class fun.

Its nearly impossible to find good leather restoration chemicals. I Needed to restore some old Leather tool Pouches that I did not want to use any cheap chemicals on. I found everything I needed here.

As probably the only source for leather working goods around, the prices are suprisingly affordable. With a discount system for returning members and friendly and helpful staff its not surprising why this is the longest standing leather business around.
