Family-owned business can be great. Normans Vacuum is exceptional. Sure, I could have bought my vacuum on Amazon however Amazon cant give me friendly service. They couldnt look at my records and tell me my older Miele was 16-years-old, well-built and possibly good for another 4 years. Amazon cannot take time to explain the pros of a new model and show me how to use these features. They dont return calls. I called and received a call back within the hour. And, they are not available when something goes wrong and you need an honest repair. Yes, I bought a new Miele. My older one goes to my daughter. Miele vacuums and Normans is a family tradition.

I just went to Norman’s for the 2nd time to get help fixing a vacuum. I ended up buying a new vacuum cleaner while I was there as well. In all of my conversations and transactions while there, they were friendly, well staffed, helpful and informative. Definitely the kind of old fashioned personal customer service you don’t get very many places anymore. It’s worth doing business here instead of buying something online. Stores like this are real gems and I hope we don’t lose them all. It might be convenient ordering things online and I love doing it too but it’s nothing like going in and getting personal attention and customer service actually interacting with a real person.i think the relationships we make doing commerce add to the richness of our lives and become part of our community.

Been there many times great service & reasonable priced. Purchased several vacuum cleaners & carpet cleaner there along with cleaning products. Some customers you can never satisfy. Private owned service & sales centers are going to be a thing of the past if we do not support them. GONE WITH THE WIND.

Great people, I took a vacuum cleaner to get repaired after I destroyed the power cord. They quoted me a price, and then suggested that I not bother with the repair seeing as a new one would only cost about $20 more. They could have easily just taken the money I was prepared to spend. .

Normans Vacuum Supply is a good store if you have a repairable or central vacuum system. They carry brands that you dont see in the typical department store. They also sell and rent janitorial supplies like floor buffers. Since the alternative is order over the Internet and wait for delivery, Im glad they are here so I can get parts when my system breaks.

So refreshing to have an expert in business for over 50 years. I was truly surprised how inexpensive this expert care was. I drive almost an hour to their shop and will continue to do so

A Simply FANTASTIC experience. A household vacuum is essential in keeping a clean environment! Having 2 young children at home, a golden retriever and a clean freak wife..the vacuum better be working when the time presents itself. When my wife hit the power peddle the other day and the vacuum wasnt sucking up a single thing, I thought I would be heading back to Wal-Mart to buy yet another seem to be disposable vacuum. This time I decided to Google vacuum repairs to try another option, and Normans Vacuum is what I found. I stopped by Sat. and wheeled in the vac. I was greeted by smiling faces and a warm welcome greeting, then asked what I needed assistance with. I explained the issues my vac had and immediately Steve got to the bottom of it..a minor clog, the factory belt needed replacement and in minutes I was at the register to pay a painless $17 and my vac was like new again saving my family and I a Great Bit of money. 5 STARS FOR NORMANS VACUUM!

I have bought all my home cleaning goods from Normans vacuum. They are a family owned retailer/rental and repair shop. Great selection of home cleaning products. You cant go wrong and rember you get what you pay for i bought my melie from them in 2009 and havent had one problem

It doesnt matter what kind of vacuum you have or what you need due to allergy problems, dust and dirt. There is no one else you can trust but the employees at Normans. They are not going to try to up sale you but they will be truthful selling, carrying the upkeep parts (filters/belts/etc.) that you need or repairing your vacuum if you cant do it.Dont wast going to the bargain stores to buy something that will leave more dust and dirt on the floor, especially during allergy season.PS....Always buy 2 belts. Not their fault but you ARE going to have trouble finding them when your granddaughter picks up a sock and lets it run just a bit too long. I would advise putting the belt in a small shadow box and put it in your kitchen. Have a Great Day and Blessings.

Terrible customer service. I explained what was wrong with my cleaner and was talked to like I was dumb. Proceeds to tell me maybe Im letting stains set in too long.... negative. I dont let my dogs piss sit in my carpet, I do a pre soak and then I steam clean it. My cleaner is just not cleaning anymore. Idk why or whats wrong with it. It was just very obvious they didnt care to help me. Will take my business to all state vacuum
