I am very happy with the craftsmanship and the quality of the fence. Ask for Mark to be your installer. He really takes pride of his work and he always puts the customer first. Mark always asked about how we want things done and he will tell you ahead of time of any issues and then gives you options and recommendations to provide the best quality installation as well as making look great aesthetically. It took a while to received the pigged fence because it was special order but as you can see it was all worth the wait. The owner also came during the installation process to assure all is being done well. Tammy is their coordinator and did an excellent job letting us know when the special order of the back fence arrived. Mark Thomson did the installation of the fence and although it may take him a little longer that some other installers, it is done to perfection. I would ask for him. Tammie got us scheduled and Mark did a fantastic job with the install. He made sure the gate was self closing and that the latch was installed at the proper height for having a pool in the backyard. Everyone else I called in Jacksonville was booked out for several months due to lack of material- Affordable Fencing showed up the day after I called them!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

From start to finish they were amazing. Tammie was a rock star with setting everything up. When it was complete I had a question on one of the areas. They came right back out and fixed the issue. I was so happy with this vendor.

Called and got an estimate on the phone. The installers came out the next day to Black Hammock Island and put in a hundred and fifty feet of fence on my South border. They had to cut through some wooded area and also had to run Plumb lines from the survey Stakes out on the street.They did a great job. It looks beautiful and they worked hard to get it done in one day. Couldnt be happier.

The whole experience was wonderful. I love my backyard. If I had any concerns I was listened to and the way my fence came out, exceeded our expectations.

Warning to all, do not use this company! The installers do very poor work, the job has not been completed in over a month, and the owner take no responsibility. Definitely do not pay upfront as you will never get the job completed. I spoke to the owner several times and although he guaranteed his workers would show up multiple times, they never did. Not surprisingly when I went to the Clay County Court, this company has had multiple claims against it. As another rater has indicated I only gave 1 star because I had to! For some reason I cant upload the many photos showing the poor quality (visibly evident). The current status of the fence doors: 1 with a large gap, and the other lying on the ground. Very poor quality installation, and even worse customer service. Dont buy from this company!

Unprofessional. They damaged my truck while loading fencing. When I asked for compensation they denied it up and down, and the owner told me never to call, and that I can’t do business there anymore. I’m not trying to take them for a ride, I’ve spent over $1100 there in the past. But what do I really expect from a place where all the employees look like homeless crack heads.

At first I was a little nervous about calling base on the reviews I read, but it was the best decision I could have ever made. They did an Amazing job. Recieved reasonable quote from Tammy, went to office to make arrangements to install fence and was informed they could come out same day. Two workers came out within a few hours and completed job same day. Very pleased with work, great job. Tammy and workers were great.

Charging almost double the market rate for fence panels. $70 a panel for 6ftx8ft dog ear wooden fence. I hope that’s made out of African mahogany for that price.What a joke

DO NOT HIRE THEM! I know my post is long and if that is the only sentence you read, believe it and keep looking! They are unprofessional, no call/ no shows, continually coming up with excuses and liars. I live on base and needed a fence put up ASAP, I called around the multiple companies who told me they do no do work on base. This was the first company who told me that, yes, they do work on base and that they would be happy to help me get a fence put up quickly. I called on Thursday and was told I could have someone come out and begin work on Saturday. I was really excited, my dog won’t go potty on a leash and its been a struggle, I was excited they were able to come out quick and at a really reasonable price. Anyway, Saturday came and I got a call at 10 am telling me that the guy who was going to come to do my fence called out sick and since they don’t allow contractors to come on base on Sunday that they would be there Monday… That was the first of MANY excuses I heard in the 9 days I was dealing with them. I couldn’t post my original review due to the word limit, probably for the best since I’m sure no one would have read to the end. Long story short I had to call daily to find out when they would be here and I got a difference excuse, sometimes multiple excuses in one day. If there was anyone else who would come and do the job, I would have gladly paid more just to have someone reliable come out. The work was good and I was going to give them a 2 star if the work was good, however, when the OWNER showed up today, he told me he needed me to pay up front because he didn’t think I would pay due to the TENSIONS from the last week! Seriously this guy is an A. I had asked for a discount earlier in the week after 6 days of no shows and nothing getting done and the guy told me no! If you decide to hire them and see for yourself here are some of the excuses I heard: Partner is sick with cancer and only has weeks left; Truck problems; Workers don’t have driver’s license; Boss anniversary; Boss is also sick and can’t work long; House is flooded; Employee sick; Employee no show. Those are just a few of the many excuses I heard! I had no choice but to stick with them because they are the only ones around here that would come on base but please don’t pay these people a dime. I would gladly choose to pay another company a little more to have the job completed on a timely manner and show when they say they will.

We like buying our firewood from these folks. They have a good selection at reasonable prices and are very willing to help us load the wood. Looking forward to seeing their smiling faces again.

The fence installation took longer than expected. Overall, the work was good. Just make sure you get a firm price upfront and don’t budge. Got over 400 linear feet of board on board fence done with one gate. Took 5 days vice the promised 2. Installers rarely ever showed up on time, but the finished product was very good. Materials were quality and the manager Connie was great!

Called Tammy 4 times for quote—never received call. These mom and pop operations survive day by day with no ambition at all to make money.

We needed panels to go along the back of our yard to match the existing side fencing so we purchased refurbished panels. They fixed them up, cut them for us and helped load them. Looks great. Great group to deal with and the price on materials saved us around $400. I would purchase fencing from them again if/when needed.

What a joke. This company is awful. It took 3 days to complete a 1 day fence install, I had to correct the installers multiple times about where our property line is and the fence veering to the right or left. Yes, they had a survey. After many excuses about broken down trucks other bull$h!t they did complete it and save me about $200 over other quotes. Overall disappointing and would never recommended them to anyone. Spend the money and get a reputable company.

Call talked to mike installing a front fence on 06-02-2020, 1220 had to put down half, said they would be out on monday 06-08-2020 between 8am or 9am no call nosho called mike around 5 pm he act as if he couldnt remember the order said they would be out tuesday between 9am or 10 guess what, no call no show called wed to cancel the job and was told infoemed that it woul cost me 20 percent of my deposit ask to speak to owner, of course he wasnt therea and hasnt called me back long story short 06 12 2020 no fence and out of 244 dollars LIEs AFTER LIEs

I had a great initial conversation with their salesperson Kelly. She gave me all the details I needed to know and I told her Id talk it over with my wife.After my wife and I settled on what we wanted, I called Kelly back. The voice that answered said Kelly wasnt there, I should call back at ten. I did so and Kelly still wasnt there but, I should try again in half an hour. Still no Kelly.I tried Kelly the next day but, was told to try again in half an hour. When she still wasnt there I asked to leave a message. The voice reluctantly agreed to take a message and I explained I was calling to complete a sale. Still no return call from anyone.Affordable fence is difficult to do business with and refuses to complete a sale. Try other companies.Update:My wife wanted to use them and finally reached an agreement with them. The final product looks fine but, the one day project turned into three. Well, really a two day project but, the crew no-showed on the second day.Worse, they broke my main water (See photo; running water in the foreground, new fencing laying in the background) line when driving on my property to drop off some fencing so they wouldnt have to carry it as far. They claimed to have repaired the pipe but, my next water bill was double what it normally is so had to have an actual plumber come to fix their damage.Finally, the owner, Marty, is a nice and incompetent man. After three phone calls, he still hasnt sent me an actual invoice. Avoid Afforable Fence at all costs.

I just needed a couple pieces of aluminum fence paneling and some post to repair a section of my fence. They were able to get me exactly what I needed - couldnt get the 4 panels at HD or Lowes.

This company and its owner (Marty Snyder) are unprofessional and do not return phone calls. If you are not paying their installers, you will not receive any customer service. Although some of his personnel seem like they want to provide superior service, I believe that the owner instructs them to do otherwise. After ordering vinyl fencing and waiting for 2 months for delivery. The fence was delivered at 7PM. I assisted the driver in unloading the fencing at which time the driver turned a pallet over on my arm causing a large abrasion. The damaged parts were returned to the driver and after another month, they have yet to be replaced. In the three months, we have never received a phone call from the owner or any other employee. This company does not provide good customer service, in fact, they dont provide ANY customer service. I wouldnt send my ex-wife to this company for a fence or any other item.

They were supposed to start at 10am but still weren’t there at 1:30pm. I called three times and even spoke to the owner who made one lame excuse after another as to why the two workers had not shown up. I finally just canceled the job.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Put a $1600 deposit down for a fence, promised deliver the next day. Promises continued for tomorrow for two weeks before I returned to the office and demanded my deposit from the owner (the check for which had already been cashed). Attempted to cash the check and it bounced! Contacted the owner to resolve payment, which he promised cash 2 days later. Attempted to reach him, and he was unavailable. Was about to bring the check to the Sheriffs office when I stopped at the bank and the check was processed for cash. If your money means anything to you, DO NOT GIVE IT TO AFFORDABLE FENCING. Buyer Beware.

Affordable Fencing Outlet Center in Jacksonville is not the same company as Affordable Fencing in Orange Park. The one is OP has horrible ratings and service from what I have seen online and hear around town. Nearly everyone I talked to said Marty Snyder is a con artist, pays his works crap ($1 per panel) and treats them like garbage. I worked there for one day. Upon arriving I was told by Marty that almost no one lasts for more than one day and after working there I understand why. He does in fact talk to you like he is God and you are a complete idiot. 2 experienced fencing guys came in while he was talking down to another employee and they just walked out. They wanted no part of working for the guy. Nothing is on the record anyway. He pays his workers in cash. If you are looking for some under the table work and dont mind being treated like crap then this place may be for you. As for me I wouldnt work for them again or buy anything from them.

This was a very tedious experience and workers unprofessional.I had to keep asking for the final quote/contract, was told they were gonna send it several times. I didnt get it until the workers showed up at my door.My appointment was never confirmed, I received a phone call at 9:15 am saying workers were on the way to me. They did not show up until 12:30 pm, workers left their cigarette butts and water bottle tops in my yard, said would be back the next day to finish up and didnt show up. Owner had to get some fill in workers to complete last half of the job that didnt work for Affordable Fence (however the 2nd group of men did a great job), the 1st group of men didnt leave all of the materials at my house so I had to go to parts store to get what was missing. The overall experience was not good at all.

Asked them to match our gate they said they could. Its now a different size. Asked them to fix it and they said ok. Months later they called about payment and said they couldnt fix it until they were paid so i did. Never heard from them again.

We started calling the week after getting our fence installed that the gate was uneven. We were given excuses every time we called. The last time a contractor called saying we would have to pay for the repairs. Dont use them for your fencing, they dont honor their work.

This is by far the best fence and fence experience I have ever had. The quality of the fence is excellent. The installation was perfectly done by real professionals. This team went well beyond what would be a normal install. The little extras they did and the finished install made the yard look like a park.I have had fences installed in the past by various companies. Some were done well and others not so. I dont know why there are so many negative reviews, but my experience was excellent. The quality of the fence was great, prices were the best I could find and they installed just two days after I ordered. I got an estimate of a big box store and they wanted almost twice of what Affordable Fencing did the job for. I had a wooden stockade fence put in and it was made with pressure treated wood, had 1/2 thick pickets and 2 x 4 cross members--much heftier and better quality than what I could have found at Lowes or Home Depot. They did misplace my order, when I called to see what time the install crew would be out, but that was just a minor glitch. All the negative reviews made me hesitate to use them, but Im glad I did. No complaints here.

Very misleading. Shoddy work. Wanted me to pay for them correcting their mistakes. Would never reccomend. Only gave 1 star because I had to. Please feel free to contact me. I paid 4500. Run away!!! They do not back up any damage done during their installation, are not responsible for any broken pipes, irrigation system, etc.. that are damaged or broken by THEIR installers They came in and broke my irritation system (during the installation of the gate - they had to open a whole to pour the concrete for the foot of the gate and its very clear they could see they broke it, then they covered it with dirt and I didnt find out until it opened a hole and I could see it ). I called for them to fix it and after being given the run around by an extremely unprofessional (and I mean extremely) and rude receptionist, they said they not responsible and that its in the contract( aka the invoice they give you AFTER the work is done). Extremely unprofessional and rude staff too. They told me they do not have time to check where the irrigation system is in every house. I guess you get what you pay for. If you dont want to run the risk of their installers breaking your underground pipes and then have to repair it yourself DO NOT USE THEM

On Nov.21,2017, I had a fence installed by this company . The owner is Marty Snyder. The installers asked if they could move the fence in ONE FOOT because of weeds/vine growth, I told them yes. They moved it in about FIVE TO SIX FEET and now I have 2 sprinkler heads on the outside of the fence and the fence is on top of 1 head. The fence has a section that is unstable. When the job was completed I was told I owed another $258.00 for taxes that the sales lady forgot to add on. We have spoken to Snyder about the problem and was told he would look in to it and call us back, he has not. We have been to the store a couple of times and have made multiple phone calls and were told they would give him the message. Still no response. I am a widowed, senior citizen. This just seems shameful to me to be treated this way. I will never use this company again and will tell my story to any one who will listen. I have always heard social media is a powerful tool. I am about to find out.

My experience with Affordable Fencing on Blanding Blvd. has been wonderful. The staff has been helpful and attentive. The price was the best anywhere BY FAR, something I could only really appreciate after getting quotes from other fencing companies. In doing “due diligence” I found some information that seemed to paint the company in an unfavorable light, but I had a hard time believing this based on my personal interactions with the staff and owner. To be completely transparent, it was the price that caused me to proceed despite cautions. Come to find out, there was a former employee who left and started doing business under the guise of being these fine folks and dragged their name through the mud with his business practices. I am writing this, because this company deserves to be recognized as the good people they are, or have been to me. Further, I was extremely impressed with the product they delivered. My yard looks beautiful with this extremely study and attractive board-on-board pressure treated pine fence I purchased from them. Had it been in the budget, I would have been delighted to have these guys install the fence for me, but it was not. If you can afford to, I highly recommend having them do the installation. They are very reasonable and the fencing is Heavy! This company has shown me nothing but quality from start to finish. I cannot speak to the experiences of others, but this is mine. I hope it helps you in your decision to do business with them.

These guy do an OK job (just OK) at installation. It is fairly quick, but I feel that quality is sacrificed for the speed. Professional for the most part when on site. But here is the problem. If anything is done incorrectly (and it seems there is a good chance of this being the case), GOOD LUCK trying to get them to come out and correct the problems! I am currently having to involve an attorney to get things corrected. BEWARE also that their BBB rating is an F!!!

I would show a negative star if I could. I have been 4 months trying to get my new vinyl gates to close without me having to lift up with my foot. I call the owner Marty Synder continues to promise that they will send someone out over the weekend to fix them. They never show. The last time I called the so called office manager called me a liar by stating that the gates would not close because of the hurricane. I said I have had this problem for several months prior to the hurricane. The last I heard that he was not honoring any warranties. When I call now they continue to hang up on me, real professional. Im sure they are hoping I will go away but I am still here. If need be I may have to resort to legal aspects. Cheaper is not better. I am so sorry I did not see the other reviews before I hired Affordable Fencing. If I had I would have definitely gone with a different company.

Although the fence quality is great the owner is unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. He quoted me a price over the phone and I agreed to it. Then he charged my card an extra $400 without my consent and stated it was for taxes. Again the fence is great, except for one gate which is warped and he wont fix it because he says its from the hurricane....we had zero damage from the storm in my area. Lastly, his workers had to all smoke weed while working. When I advised the owner thats unprofessional to do ON MY property he said its not like its illegal! Ummm, actually, it is.

The installers did a good job moving my fence. They broke 3 sprinklers and fixed 2. When I called the office to get the installers to fix the 3rd sprinkler - I got nothing. Only excuses from the owner Marty?-, it was my fault, Were too busy and I didnt read the fine print. I tipped the guys 100$ just in case something like this happened. Look where it got me . If you want a fence moved go with these guys, If you want broken items fixed. Dont go with these guys. once they get your money - you wont see them again.

I made this mistake of giving them 60% down for fencing and all I got was a run around. It has been 5 months and I cant get my money back from these crooks. I am out hundreds of dollars! Took them to small claims court still no action.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Let me tell what I really think of the service I called on Friday April 7 to check prices to replacing my old fence and new gate told the lady she said cost 1240.00 I asked her would that cover haul away of the old fence was told yes sir. I said ok lets do it she said would Saturday be ok I said wow tomorrow perfect between 9am and 12 noon super..its now the next day no call no nothing about being late poor service I got a call around 1 30 telling will be there soon. Wow great service the crew got to my house at 2 pm. Walk around the yard told me it maybe more because of roots from tree. I said let me know they start taking down old fence and posts.. while installing new posts and fence tell me the root issue and extra cost never once did they show me..well 4 hours later fence is up and gate looks nice..i notice one guy throwing fence over the back fence thought nothing about it. The the door bell rang asking if I had a car jack said flat tire got my jack Little later brings it back did it work no got a neighbor turns out it was a lie no flat. This crew figure to get out of hauling the old fence tell me a lie about flat tire I checked the View of home because I drove around to back side of my house guess what I found. The OLD FENCE ALL PILED UP..so guess its there way of screwing their customers now I have to worry about this...Now comes Paying my Bill get a call on Monday about paying the Bill. Lady told they accepted credit cards told cost of fence and extra cost of roots 1300. But being I choose CRedit we will hit me with a 3% transaction FEE..i said what the hell i wasnt told this during first call I checked the paper mint magazine nothing about extra fee. So this company is the worse fence company in my eyes show up late no call then leave the old fence after being told the haul away the charge a extra fee..STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IM SORRY TO HAVE THEIR FENCE... I called and email about copy of the Bill or work order they dont do that all I got a note paid in full another error on their part..im very unhappy about this fence company. We had them do one side of our fencing and were hoping to hire them for the rest but after receiving poor customer service and excuse after excuse for no shows, I will never work with them again.

I have noticed a large amount of beer cans and trash along parkridge ave. sense they have moved in here. Disgusting 😡😡😡

I asked this company to come to my property and give me an estimate and was told that they dont do that and they would quote my fence if I measured it or provided a survey. No other options offered for getting a quote, so I said that I would call someone else. She said okay and hung up. Wow!
