I called them to repair my chain link fence that has been here for over 40 years. I thought I would have to replace the whole thing. Javoris Norman came and did an estimate that was far less than I anticipated. The Norman team came out early on Friday and repaired my fence . They had all of the supplies they needed and worked to repair everything. When they were finished, they hauled away the trash and left my home neat and clean. It is a family business that serves the Jacksonville community well.

I received estimates from several fence installers. A Norman was the most reasonable. A Norman had all the supplies when other places were on a wait list for wood panels. They showed up in force and completed our full privacy fence in 3 hours. Couldnt have had a better experience. Highly recommend.

They replaced my old fence, and about 3weeks later the new gate they installed started to sag. I also noticed the ground was wet near one of the new fence posts and realised they hit a sprinkler line. I called them and left a message early the following morning. They called me back and came out the same day and fixed the gate and repaired the broken sprinkler line. They were nice, on time, and came back to correct the issues after the fact the day I called. Id certainly recommend A Norman Fence without hesitation.

I have been pleased with the work of A Norman Fence Company both times that I utilized them. The first time was back in 2016 on a property that I owned and recently, in June of 2020, on another property. I find this company to be professional at all times and their prices affordable. I phoned, they came out and gave me a written estimate that I agreed to, and they had my fence up almost immediately. They arrived early, provided quality materials, worked at a fast, efficient pace, and cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend A Norman Fence Company, and do recommend this company, to anyone looking for quality workmanship at an affordable price. Five stars all day long.

Im not entirely sure how this company got such good reviews, especially since the website boasts about customer service. I had a very frustrating experience. We hired them to take down and reinstall some panels/posts; which I had no issue with the work or the gentlemen that did the work. They were professional and friendly and did a great job. What I did have a problem with was the offie. We called for a time that the workers would be here and was told between 10 and 12; they showed up at 2. I wouldnt have had a problem with the later time had someone let me know. Every time I called the office they would have to reach out to the workers and then call me back, which they neglected to do so I would have to call again. They were also supposed to leave me with 12 caps for my fence which we were charged for and not given. I called to ask about that as well and was told that they would get back to me, which they never did. I would not recommend this company.

Recently had a 6 foot privacy fence, gate and black chain link fence installed. Norman Fence Company did an outstanding job. They were on time, very professional, and finished in one day. Neighbors all comment on how good it looks. Thanks to the great crew that was here.

Been calling and waiting on estimate...no return calls

I contacted the company for a quote to fix my fence. They provided excellent customer service and quality workmanship in fixing the fences. They responded quickly when I have any questions. I am very pleased with the final results. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!

Guys did great job working around some unforseen obstacles. They worked though scattered showers nearly all day.They were courteous and professional. Priced right . ONLY complaint would be clean up left behind.

I used this this company 09 for fencing work and mostly recently for my latest fence work.. After reading reviews I was skeptical but I was pleased with their work in 2009 after two other outrageous estimates I called Norman fence. Appointment was made for estimator to come out 1-2 no show I called the company and within 30min Jahvon showed up. I told him what I wanted and he gave me my written estimate then. Unlike the others I had to wait for a email the estimate was spot on target for my budget. We set a date well they didnt show I called and was told they were awaiting material. Set another day and they arrived early one installer worked so hard as I have a Oak tree that was making his job harder. But he shaved the root of that tree until he was able to install the vinyl properly! I am so happy with their work..

Getting a fence put up in this neighborhood has been the latest trend. So we have seen several other companies work and this has to be by far the sloppiest, lowest quality, and rushed job that I have ever seen. Initially when the surveyor came out to give an estimate, we thought “hey why not give it a shot?” They’re a family owned company. I’m all for supporting local businesses. When the installers showed up they were extremely loud and I was working from home on a conference call I had to go to the other room just to focus on the conversation I was having. The person who appeared to be in charge said that they could not install 5 foot gate as quoted on our side due to how the property line was divided, I understood and I told him it was fine. He said luckily they had another 4 foot gate in stock at their warehouse and that they could get the entire project done that day. This was not the case and well however it did rain they didn’t even have the two gates as promised when they came back from lunch. He said that he would come out the next day and finish the job and make sure that they cleaned up because they need it for the dirt to dry up as it had turned into mine before they could maneuver it so that they can leave the area clean as it should be. That never happened as you can see in the photos it appears that none of the material was picked up after they said they would. Their customer service at their “home office” is laughable, it was hard to get someone on the phone and when they did pick up the phone all they said was “hello“ is that how you answer a business phone? I will never be doing service with this company again and I’m going to post this review to every single media that I can find because even though they were a low price the quality of work was absolutely terrible and unacceptable.

Im a very satisfied customer! There was a slight miscommunication about the fence and Mr. Norman rectified it immediately. Very courteous and efficient staff. I definitely recommend A Norman Fence to everyone!

I called to get an estimate and they came out the next day and I agreed to the price and they were back the next day and installed my fence in my front yard and did an excellent job.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! After a complete disappointment with another fence company I called them at 830 on a Monday morning by 9 I had an estimate & by 230 on the same day I had my gate!!! Thank you could never be enough for the quick & efficient job they did!! Ill be recommending them to everyone I know!! Thanks again!!

Our experience with A Norman Fence Company, Inc. was excellent. They provided quality, professional and prompt service. I would recommend this Company highly. We are also recommending them to our family and friends.

This company advertises no credit check financing and also on their paperwork when they write you a quote it says, In house financing. But then they give you paperwork to contact BBVA/Compass for financing.. We were also told on the phone all we needed was a checking account to qualify. But that was never brought up when asked about the financing. How is contacting a bank in house or no credit financing????? Very misleading.

Person who came out for estimate was very professional. He pointed out his cell phone number on the estimate and said if I needed anything to call his cell phone. The mailbox is full so you cant leave a message. When I spoke to the woman in the office she said I told him to take care of that. To me, this means that he has no intentions of ever letting you contact him. Workers left scraps and posts, pavers and empty water bottles in neighbors yards. Workers cursed so loudly that it could be heard in the house. One gate is crocked. All the materials that were stated in the quote were not brought to the site. I wrote the check for the estimate after being told they would come out the next morning with the said materials. The next morning I couldnt get a concrete answer of arrival so I stopped payment and issued another check minus those materials. I called the office and told the woman who answered the phone I had stopped payment and that I issued another check. Days after the 2nd check had cleared my account some gentleman called to find out why I had put a stop payment on the check. I explained I had called the office and that the 2nd check had already cleared the account which the gentleman had no knowledge of. His only concern was the stop payment. Obviously he didnt question why there was another check that had already been deposited. I am not sure I would ever recommend this company. FAST FORWARD THREE YEARS----Our fence post are not rotted and the fence is falling down. As we are repairing we now find out that the posts are stuck in the ground and not cemented in. They had bags of cement in our yard. They must have picked it back up and put it in their truck. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT A SLOPPY AND A SHORT TERM FENCE.

Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for today for a quote and they never showed up!! Tried calling 3 times, no one picked up and I wasnt even able to leave a voicemail. Thanks.

Good company to call when you need a fence

I had them put in a wooden fence in early 2016, then 10 months later I needed my fence fixed because it was leaning and I was told they were coming out 3 times and no one ever showed up. Their phone numbers keep changing and Im not sure what had happened to this company?!

Never showed up or called. He just arrived 25 minutes late.

Very bad customer service - quite shocking actually. I just called and we were trying to line up a time that they could come out to give a quote and when I said I couldnt meet them in person during the week - they just hung up on me!! I had asked about Saturdays and they said no, and then when I couldnt pick a date this week they just hung up.
