Just recently got the spiced sweet potato latte and egg sammy...to put lightly, it was a match made in heaven. Community loaves is so bright and inviting - even though I dont live in Jax anymore I try to stop by whenever I can. There is something so comforting about fresh bread and hot coffee. Been going for years and will be for many more :)

A favorite Murray Hill hang out spot. Ever since they expanded, they have a fantastic outdoor seating area. It is a great little spot to meet up for a quick bite and chat with plenty of space for kids to play. I have never gotten the same thing here as I always get what is fresh. I would recommend doing that as well. I have had a few items that were a little salty, but overall it is a great experience.

This place is the place to get fresh sour dough bread. This place makes their customers feel like they are family. The lunch and sweet baked goods made be a hazard to your waist line. But they are soooo good. The pancakes are amazing. I try to get there early in the morning on the day they are open to get the Day Old offering. Try the day old mystery box of pastry. You will not be disappointed.

This place has some of the best tasting and freshest salads and dressings plus amazing baked goods. Everything we got today was so delicious. I am seriously obsessed with the salads and even more so with the homemade dressings. The quiche was a different variety than I am used to with cheese and potatoes but quite tasty. We split the cardamom bun after eating our salads.Previous ventures we have tried strawberry hand pies, Chocolate croissants, zucchini bread, Almond Croissants and the Garlic Rosemary bread. They have also started a small grocery store almost (bodega style) where you can get local produce, milk and dairy products at their window). You can’t go wrong when you stop here!

Please bring back old egg sandwich! This is a pricy sandwich and CL went from using fresh fried eggs to this…The sandwich was my favorite thing on the menu but I honestly wasn’t able to stomach the new recipe…I do appreciate that they remade it with poached eggs when I said something, but even that wasnt the same. Everything else is excellent! But this reminds me of fast food egg patties, and isn’t the quality I would expect from CL.

Pricing is inconsistent. Menu outside listed the regular breakfast sandwich at $9. No price listed next to add ons. We ended up paying $16 for a breakfast sandwich... $10 for an egg & cheese sandwich plus $2 add on for onion jam and $4 for sausage links that just slid out of the bread. Double checked the pricing on their website and they have breakfast sandwiches listed at higher cost on the top section of their menu with a duplicated version that’s cheaper listed just below it? Overall, disappointed for what should have been THE most amazing breakfast sandwich given the price.

You know it is very rare that I would be willing to eat at a healthy place like this. I must admit a lot of times health comes at the expense of taste. Not so here.I had an avocado, pesto, hummus sandwich on garlic and rosemary sourdough. I literally know where everything was grown and or raised that was on my plate. It is pretty amazing yet humbling to experience that farm to plate connection. The food is humble yet delicious.Dont go here if you are craving burgers or something, but if you are looking for a quaint yet sophisticated look into healthy restaurant fare this is the place.

I love this bakery! But I just wanted to call out that the egg sammie recently took a turn for the worse. They used to use fresh eggs but recently switched to pre-made egg patties (similar to fast food restaurants). The flavor is not as good, so that is disappointing. Community is a good word to receive this place. You can tell the patrons are locals, and it is a place to meet up. I myself saw an old friend, said hi, and saw many others do the same. The courtyard vibe was relaxed, people shared tables casually. We chatted with a guy about local coffee and breweries. The pastries I ordered were all tasty, I especially liked the dark chocolate croissant. The coffee was excellent. I didnt find out what coffee they used, but I would like to know! Spend a lovely time with a friend here and enjoy the food! It is excellent!

Finally got time to check out the new place, as I drove by it seemed either this business or the Honey business next door, not sure who became the buildings ar connected but I guess this restaurant is involved in the division of our community. As a business that wants to welcome everyone a divisive sign in front of the building doesnt make EVERYONE feel welcomed! Imagine being an American Indian and told its ok to be a slave unless your a black slave. Research what you support and its outcome.

Visited today with a good friend of mine, and I had a lovely time! We ordered the tomato soup with grilled cheese and an apple galette. The food was delicious, the restaurant was squeaky clean, and the employees were welcoming and friendly. I loved the onion jam they put on the sandwich, and the soup was a perfect blend of peppery, sweet, and salty. The apple galette was so delicious, I wanted to eat it all despite my severe allergy (one bite was well worth my slight reaction, though!). Ill definitely be back soon with my family. The sourdough on the sandwich was absolutely perfect, and I have my heart set on trying the rosemary bread next (which smelled like Heaven).
