I URGE YOU TO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED 💰 ELSEWHERE. I purchased 6 packs of crochet hair 2 days ago and decided to exchange it for a different style but the exact same brand. The package were never opened with the exception of 1 and I honestly shared that information with the cashier. When I attempted to exchange the owner tells me the price is now $1 more per pack. I go back to the aisle, check the price of the previously purchased pack, and compare. They are both the same price so I ask WHY AM I BEING CHARGED MORE? I am then told I gave you a discount before but not today. Let me just say...I never asked for a discount and when I exchange an item, I make every effort to do EVEN EXCHANGES. It is truly not about the small amount of money they charged, but the pure GREED and lack of customer service etiquette. I will always support a business that is willing to accommodate their customers. That being said, it wont be this one. I hope this helps someone in some small way. Be mindful of where you choose to spend your money.

Im not from here, so I google near by stores, first one were totally too expensive and had no varieties of hair nor color for the money they were asking for the hair, but second stop, which were here, was awesome. That one young lady who I kept bothering, she was busy, but she point me to the right isle on everything I needed, Im sorry babes, but you looked out and you didnt know Im legally blind. Thank you. Side note, coming from a business owner, the cashier, need not to mention to the customer that they spending all their money at her register, I wouldnt even joke about it, business is business, baby girl make your sales. With this pandemic, make that money, I mean thats how the business grow, and thats how she gets paid. Anyway, this beauty store gets 5 stars from me, and Ill be back and tell back home about this store, because Jacksonville has a lot of beauty stores, but I found the best! P. S. The owner seems cool too, he knew his regulars by name, and he helped me find my peppermint soap Lol

Its been hard to find AUNT JACKIES products here in Florida. I am pleased to find such a wide selection at this beauty store. The price is right also!! I purchase soo many hair products that when I find a decently priced item that works at moisturizing my dry natural thick curls Im very pleased and I feel an obligation to spread the news about hair products that actually perform as promised. Plus they have a shampoo that comes with a free detangler to put to the test.

Great selection of products especially lace wigs. Workers are extremely kind one stayed with me to help me pick the right wig, and wonderful prices ☺️ I highly recommend!!

Surprisingly a very nice store. My go to now. There are so many beauty stores to choose from in the area. But they one me over with the brightness and cleanliness. They staff is awesome. There is always someone to greet you when you walk in. And they ask if you need help looking for anything. The staff is awesome.

Great store, the customer service has been great for me within every visit I have made so far & staff is very helpful. One staff member even made my experience more comfortable for me when she noticed that I had a baby in my arms. I love that they have a rewards point program and have great deals on certain products. Some items are priced a little high for my taste considering I know some places to find it cheaper but that is no problem for me. The environment is definitely well kept up and clean. Overall, Ill definitely keep them as my number one go to store.

This establishment is easily noticeable in traffic and has pretty much anything you can think of when it comes to cosmetics, and hair care products, and they are not very expensive. With so many choices it can become quite the challenge deciding what you would like. The store assistants are very informative, as well as kind. They assist with putting on wigs as well as any questions you may have about what your looking for.

I was charged for items I didnt purchase nor received when I called to dispute no one answered and when I went to the store to complain they told me no refund how is it a refund when I dont have most of the items on my receipt

Today We were there and I dont even ask for help when a beautiful lady came to offer her help, no only found what We need but We get more product that should be better for my girl hair and mine also. I will say that the store employees were very friendly and very polite the entire time that I was in the store. However, the store owner/manager/whatever he is (his prejudiced statement towards me made me disinterested in caring about anything his life had to offer) is uneducated in terms of social issues in America. I planned to spend my lovely Friday purchasing a wig (I know nothing about wigs and out of interest I decided to visit this store to get more info). I spent a maximum of 45 minutes looking at wigs and with the kindness of an employee trying a few on. She was very attentive to my mother and I. The store was experiencing some difficulty with their card machine, therefore, my mother and I decided to go to a nearby ATM to get cash and pay for the two wigs I really liked. After further thought, I decided that I would come back the next day to buy the wigs since I was too unsure if I truly wanted them. I went back to the store and asked the cashier if I could take a photo of the two wigs the other employee put on hold for me. She gave me the two wigs and I took the photos with no issues. The manager/ store owner comes out of nowhere and asks if I’m paying with cash or card and I say “not buying at the moment just trying to take a picture of the two wigs I liked” to which he responds “oh, so you can have the brand names and send them to the Chinese to sell.” Of course, I’m insulted and caught off guard. I know that I can be rather brash towards others if they say micro aggressive statements that aren’t blatantly racist but are still very prejudiced and rude statements. However, once I got back to my mothers car and she saw how upset I was over the statement, we decided to go back in the store with me to confront this man. I will admit, my anger level was at a 10 and I did curse him out and yell very loudly in front of other customers (at this point I had no respect for him or his business). After telling him that what he said had racist undertones he made the statement that he is part black (I’ll assume less than 10% if not 0%) and that by saying his STATEMENT was racist, I was being racist towards him and he found it hurtful because I was antagonizing him. I explained to him that even if he didn’t intend on the statement coming off as racist (to his defense he did somewhat apologize for it) it was very problematic and because of racial tension in America it was idiotic of him to make such a remark. Now as I stated, I was yelling and cursing and of course I wasn’t speaking as eloquently as I am at this time, therefore I understand why this would make him uncomfortable. He proceeded to threaten to call the cops on me, told me I was being aggressive and felt threatened (mind you I am a 5’2 woman, shorter than him, so that shows how much of a man he is), and that he would only talk to my mother because she was not yelling. Of course, though these aren’t blatantly racist statements, but I am happy to provide numerous commentaries, articles, and essays on micro aggressions that African Americans face daily explaining why these statements are problematic and highly insensitive. I only wish I wasn’t so angry so that I could have educated him with literature to incite sensitivity towards African Americans that work for and buy from his store. I am paraphrasing the entire dialogue I shared with him, but these were the major concerns I had (I didn’t even get to explain to him how implying that I would sell a PHOTO to the Chinese, is also prejudiced towards the Chinese because it implies that they are frugal, stealers, and undermine his place of business). Oh, almost forgot! He told me that he didn’t think I would actually steal anything, he was just joking, because burglars wear black masks before robbing a store. To which I explained ANYBODY can steal black, white, Asian, mask on mask off, so that’s a horrible assumption to make. Obviously, this man is very ignorant and I hope that he learns something from this experience. My name is Christina Sumpter and no, I do not plan to sell this.

The store is fairly clean. The young ladies working there are really not that educated on natural hair products. They didnt carry a lot of natural hair products easily found in other stores. The prices are a little high also. I came out of convenience (in the area and needed some things) & would probably only come back for that reason (in an emergency) IF I came back at all...Smh so disappointed 🙁

Dont go to this location. Very unhelpful staff who stayed on the same aisle organizing the same product the whole time I was there. I asked her where a specific product was and she said either aisle 2 or 3. No attempt to actually look. I told her I looked but I wasnt there. She said then they dont have it. I asked someone who found the product immediately. FYI: They dont carry much of Design Essentials line. OK so I foolishly went back to the first girl to ask about plastic caps thinking shed surely know or show me. She was organizing the same boxes (sigh). This time said its either 10 or 11 and told me what to look for. Not once offering to show me. I didnt even bother telling her I had already looked because it wouldnt have mattered to her. I found the caps on aisle 12.I told the manager but he didnt apologize to me for the poor service I received. So maybe thats how theyre taught. Either way I wont be going to this location again.
