Phew, so glad to see that this store is still open. Go to JH every year and always stop in this store to pick up various camera/lens items. Unusual to have an actual camera store so handy when traveling. Friendly, helpful service always.

Good service and fast prints when you need em. Would be better if owners gave local discount though. Prints could be better quality too. Sometimes edges are white like the photo wasnt centered.

Check them out the next time you are in Jackson. They have a top notch store with great camera gear, rentals and a excellent staff.

Went for passport photo. The service was the worst. The guy who helped us was rude. I just asked for to get my photos by e-mail and also printed. I was ready to pay extra for e-mailing but the guy told me that they can’t e-mail photos because they don’t have that system. So they can print your photos but can not e-mail you or give you in USB in 2020.

This store is my favorite stop when I travel to Jackson a few times a year. They care deeply about their customer service and have knowledgable people on staff. If you are in the area, stop in. You wont be disappointed.

Walked in to store to buy new lens for my Sony dlsr. Stood around for some time while employee carried on with his personal conversation on his cell phone. I was never addressed, so I walked out. Just order on amazon and save your time and money!

Went in for a passport photo. Got my photo and got out in 3 minutes flat, very straight forward and easy.

Friendly staff and great store. I was visiting on vacation and left my zoom lens at home. I rented one from these guys for 3 days but then our plans changed and I needed to extend it 1 additional day. They were super flexible in working out the extension. If you are ever visiting and forget your gear...this is the place to go!

I have had the opportunity to visit DD Camera several times. The service I have received is top notch 5 star as you can see above. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything photo related. Which is great because I know very little. They had the camera I wanted in stock (backordered months out every where else) and they shipped it to Montana for me.

I recently moved to Jackson Hole and needed a few things, including a new lens for my Sony A7 r3. The sales staff were extremely knowledgeable and carried the lens I was looking for 100 to 400 GMaster. Atmosphere was great and the staff were full of insight and suggested a few things to take my amateur skills to the next level. Look forward to my next visit.

Ran in, in a bind, looking for a screw to my tripods quick release baseplate. When they didnt have it in stock, they lent me their own tripod free of charge so I could still make it to my shoot that day! AMAZING! They totally saved me and for that I will be back to Wyoming Camera Outfitters.

The guys there are super friendly and helpful! They helped me rescue a roll a film that I had accidentally rewound into the canister. They also have a great selection of cameras and lenses.

Well we went in thinking about a better zoom lens for my Nikon and possibly a better set of binoculars for my wife. The gentleman behind the counter proved very helpful and told me the name of a better less expensive lens that he did not carry. He then was very patient and showed us why we did not want the expensive image stabilized binoculars (that he had in stock). We did not buy anything but got plenty of good advice.

So helpful. Boondocking and needed battery charging help for my canon plus a book to help me capture some great wildlife. Isaac was so kind and knew exactly what I needed. He has some gorgeous work posted at the store as well as various businesses in town; worth a look for sure.

Does not accept camera returns. Was not told this when I purchased(I probably would not have purchased if I had known this). I would purchase somewhere else in case you are not satisfied with your purchase. Also, when purchasing a camera such as the G7X ii, be sure to thoroughly compare to your smartphone. My iPhone X takes just as good of photos as this $700 camera. Hence why I would like to return after having the camera for a week. Very unhappy. Isaac who helped me was very good but they did not say no returns. I think this should be said up front as every retailer I know of accepts returns.

Extremely satisfied with the customer service here. I was checking out a Sony Alpha 6000 mirrorless camera and the workers there give me as much time as I needed to play around with the camera and try out different lenses before I bought it. I did not feel any pressure to buy nor did I feel solicited any time. These guys are a wealth of knowledge and extremely experienced photographers and experts in their field.

Went in to get a passport and a visa photo. There was one person behind the counter talking to a customer, and I was told it would be about 5 minutes and was asked if I would like to come back. Since leaving and coming back probably meant he would be taking care of another customer, and I would wait further- I declined, which seemed to perturb him. I went of to a corner of the store to wait while he was conversing with the customer. When the man finally decided to mosey off, unfazed that I had been waiting, the employee just told me to get into position for the photos. I told him again there were two photos, and they had to be different, and then asked how much it would cost. He told me 17 something. He snapped off the first pic as another man came into the store. As the man seemed impatient, the employee went to do the complete transaction with him. I made sure I went over to watch this whole thing, neither said anything to me. Another employee came in, so the first employee told the one who just entered to take the remaining photo, and I had to explain to him again I needed the 2nd to be different than the first, because he didnt understand why he needed another photo. He then charged me double the price the other employee quoted. The first employee, who I think may have been the owner, was simply in another room sitting down not doing anything opted to say nothing. I am accustomed to poor service, but this was pretty flagrant. Dont go in there if you are a single female. You will not be treated with respect.

I was on vacation and lost my lens cover, and I also needed the piece that holds the cap to the lens...so a very small purchase. This was the only camera store we could find in town. They didnt have the cap in stock, but the other item was cheaper than I had found at Walmart. The guy that helped me, I believe his name was JP (or JD...its been a couple weeks) was so friendly and helpful. He cleaned my lens for me and even gave me his extra lens cap that fit my camera. That is above and beyond any customer service Ive EVER received. Thank you again!

I was in town with a broken camera and needed some help.I walked into this store and they were so happy and friendly. Plus, they knew what they were talking about, unlike Best Buy employees. We couldnt fix it but I got the direction I needed.

Drove two hours to buy a camera because the model I was looking for was not in stock in Idaho Falls. Per Google, they opened at 9, which was not the case when I arrived. Disappointed because I made the drive and needed it that morning.

I have purchased quite a few point and shoot cameras over the years from D&D Camera and I have always been happy with my purchases.I recently decided to get further into Photography and took a used Canon 60D in to get their opinion before I purchased it from a friend.They were super helpful, inspected the camera and told me it was a great buy at a fair price. Not only did they not make a dime, but said if I did make the purchase, I could bring the camera in and they would help me get it set up properly at no charge.I have been in the store 4 or 5 times in the past week and everyone has been super friendly and helpful.I would strongly recommend this store and would certainly purchase equipment from D&D Camera any day rather than the internet.It’s great to have such a knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful store in Jackson.

I stopped in and the guy I talked to was really nice. But, be forewarned, they only deal with Canon and Canon mount products. If you use Canon you are golden here.

I took my infant there to get a passport photo. They took one picture of her when her and I werent ready. It was the worst possible picture you could have taken. They refused to take another one and said it was an acceptable photo so therefore they wont take another one. It cost 20$ to get an infant passport photo and if I wanted to get another picture taken it was going to be another 10$. Their customer service is horrible and unfriendly. Theyre way over priced for what they do. I dont recommend anyone go here.

This is a nice little local camera store if you are in the need for something you left it a good chance they will have something that will work. Nice guys that work there very helpful.

The guys that work here know a lot about cameras, gear, and photography! I stayed longer than I expected to because they were enjoyable and helpful to talk to! I got all my questions answered, they have a lot of gear and cameras, and theyre right in downtown Jackson.

With both the Casper and Jackson locations, Wyoming Camera knows how to take care of their customers. Staffed by creative, passionate people who know the region inside and out, the experience is pretty complete. Cannot recommend them enough. Favorites: they know Mindshift bags, Tamron lenses, and even recently added the Sony mirrorless system. Looking forward to when they start renting gear.

I live in Jackson and I try to support local businesses, but this is one store I have difficulty supporting. Almost zero inventory, and what they do have is incredibly overpriced. Stopped in this afternoon to check on additional battery for my Nikon. Their price, $202. Price from B&H $99 for identical Nikon battery. Wow. Shameless

I purchased some accessories for a new DSLR. The staff here was very helpful and even took the time to explain how to best use the new toys.

Im an ametuer photographer, and I know my way around my own equipment well. When I asked the attendant about a compact flash memory card, she acted like I didnt know what I was talking about and talked down to me. She asked if I was sure it would work in my camera, and when I told her my camera model she recommended that I get the smallest capacity memory card, for no obvious reason. She obviously didnt know anything about my camera. I asked about a teleconverter and she again acted like I wasnt knowledgeable enough about my own equipment to know its compatibility with my lenses. To top it all off, most everything in the store was WAY overpriced. I do not recommend this place, unless you are desperate, willing to overpay, and are prepared to be belittled.

As a long time resident of JH I am a firm supporter of local businesses. This is also the only camera shop in town and Ive shopped here a few times over the years. I have had a few good experiences with the staff being knowledgable, a well stocked inventory and good customer service. However a few years back I had terrible service from a gentleman there. I wrote it off as he might have been having a bad day. After my visit today the same gentleman showed me he clearly was just a pompous arrogant rude man with absolutely no people skills much less customer service. After talking to quite a few local photographers they all validated my thoughts and it turns out he owns the place! So if you are local, I suggest you get your camera/photography needs met online. If you are visiting, take a deep breath, be prepared to be treated like you are a complete idiot, get in and get out fast! This is one local business that will never get another cent out of this customer.

We had a great experience! Stopped to have a camera issue resolved and to purchase some batteries and another card. PJ was great! And, without any prompting from him, strictly our request, we ended up purchasing a new camera.Next day we stopped with a few questions and Jeb had all the answers!!Everyone including the owner/manager plus of course PJ and Zeb were great! Knowledgeable, patient, helpful. Any camera issues? I dont believe you could go wrong.

I went in looking for some friendly advice because I want to upgrade my camera and was unsure about what options were best for me. The older sales associate that spoke with me told me he really didnt have any time to talk and gave me a few helpful hints that I could have picked up from the back of one of the boxes in the store. I am really disappointed that in trying to support local business I wasted my time.

Basically laughing/looking down in us because we were asking specs on the sd cards. Were not professional photographers but we knew what card we needed. Just an overall unpleasant experience.

Cameras are way over priced.i bought a canon power shot sx60hs and they were way cheaper online buy at least $150. Person working was very rude to customers not being able to help more than one person at a time. Knowledge may have been OK but he couldnt communicate with someone that knows very little about cameras. I feel i was taken advantage of but there where no other options in town. Someone please open a new camera store and put them out of business. Customer service is only ok if no other persons are around if more than 1 person in the store just leave! P.s. after about a week of being home in Michigan the owner contacted me and offered a rebate of $ 100. This makes things better but customer service had not changed. Still disappointed just less than before. Please get your poop in a group and make the visitors of Jackson happy. U have a good business dont ruin it.
