I came here because reviews looked great, I’ll say I’m definitely not coming back. Asked for my beard to be trimmed up to provide a more professional look. They trimmed the sides down to basically just stubble leaving it uneven on both sides, in length and width. Basically butchered the beard to the point I will likely need to shave it all off and start over.

First time going to Cool Heads and Vicky did a fantastic job. Detailed, took her time, and asked questions along the way to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Highly recommend!

To the owner who responded to my review: I had my birthday so I got my haircut redone at another place. I am not sure who Jyra is and if she would even understand the issue. Its best if she calls me back up as the system already has my contact details.=====================Based on my previous experience at this place with a different hair dresser, I had decided to be a regular here. However, they helped me shatter that impression today. Going by some of the reviews, I booked an Essential Haircut with Vicki. She spoiled my hair altogether. Moreover, she wasnt willing to listen to the feedback. There was too much aggression in her behavior and absolutely no place for logic in the discussion. It is my bday 3 days later and I have to now book an appointment another place to see if they can somehow make my hair look better!!! What a disappointment it has been. They are in the hospitality business - so not sure how can they be so rude. Clearly, the owner of the saloon is not putting up effort in evaluating the right staff to be in.The Essential service also includes Steamed Hot Towel- face, neck and ears. This was totally overlooked and avoided. I dont know what hurry was Vicki in but the saloon owner should realize that it is hard earned money for us too. We cant be spending for a under-delivered service.

I was looking for a good barber/stylist and thought I would check Cool Heads in Las Colinas out, since its close to my office. I was lucky enough to get Jyra B to cut my hair. Not only did she do an excellent job, she was also very friendly and talkative. I could actually tell that she enjoyed her job and really cared about the outcome of my haircut. I will definitely be coming back.

They call it Coolheads because they cut your hair way too short and your head feels cool after there is no hair left. This is basically Great Clips with a membership option. While I was getting my hair cut (more like weed whacking the edge of your lawn) I was in shock and couldnt speak. I kept my mask on so my jaw didnt fall to the floor. I wasnt sure what to do or say. I was too nice and didnt say anything, but my facial expression said it all. If you are ready to be enlisted and have your head buzzed cut like great clips, this is a great place. If you like your hair, Id suggest going anywhere else

First time at cool heads. Booked an online appointment. Started on time. Raging was helpful with consultation. They can improve on sanitization and cleanliness as it is crowded.

Really bad customer service.I made the appointment for their cool heads experience on the website, confirmed it via text and showed up a few minutes early as instructed and checked in. A few minutes later a lady comes in and tells me that the system somehow double booked my appointment and they were all booked so I would either have to wait a while or just get a haircut with one and the other services with another, why I was chosen to be the one that gets pushed around while the others who had not yet showed up get to keep their appointments, I dont get.. anyway I let that pass and waited patiently.Then the drama started, the new stylist shows up and I guess was asked to cut my hair, which for some reason she was not happy with, lots of back n forth going on between the employees, and I finally get asked to come in to the seat, and I get attitude through the service, exaggerated sighs, curt instructions etc.Over all a horrible experience.I understand systems mess up sometimes, and it is frustrating to handle the extra appointments, but please dont take that out on your customers.I just came to get a haircut and followed all instructions, I deserve to be treated better and with more respect.

Absolute worst! Couldn’t have worse customer service, if I could give 0 stars I would. I scheduled a 9am this morning and confirmed it via text. I got a text from Kris at 850 telling me they are opening 15-20 minutes late so I told them I will wait until 920. He replied and told me maybe it’s better to reschedule to another day if they have availability! I called him and he argued with me that “my employees are running late and you should understand and have you never been late?” No apologies! He then proceeded to argue with me that it’s not his fault and I should accommodate them! Kris than hung up on me after I told him that the service is bad!Whoever owns this place should have a conversation with Kris about his attitude and customer service.

Ask for Jyra. Really took her time and gave me a great cut! 5/5.

Came in for a bald fade to trim down my Mohawk, I got to play a little Xbox one during my short wait. My stylist Janita did an excellent job, took her time and really went above and beyond for my appointment. I will be returning and I give her the highest commendations!

I’ve never had an issue with them until this past weekend. I usually get my hair cut with the store manager and I’ll tell you, she’s super cool!This time, I got my hair cut by someone else and just by her tone you could tell she did not want to be there. The lady seems to be bothered, I asked her to look at the notes left my the manager as my account had notes in it. I know because I always ask they everyone else pulls them up. She said “no there’s nothing”. She then proceeded to have me sitting in a stiff position not being able to move and keep saying “don’t move!”. I was not even allowed to tilt a bit to look at the TV. I get it you shouldn’t move but the lady never moved the chair go 360 she could’ve moved around and allowed me to watch tv. The lady then blamed me and my head for not being able to get my haircut right, yet is the first time I ever had that issue… I went out with some friends and ALL OF THEM made fun of it because it just looks weird like if I had a box in my head. Good thing hair grows back hahahaNot only that, there were 2 people waiting in the lobby no one was offered a drink yet a guy walks in with a bad attitude all loud grabs a beer like he owns the place, seaming saying he had a bad day. Still no one offered the 2 people sitting down a drink!It’s NOT a bad place. All of them a super nice and funny. Just my experience that day was something…

I went to this Saloon 4 times; First 1 time was great 2 time was ok & remaining times not good. No consistent people & not wort it for the price.

I had booked an appointment 30 mins before closing and when I checked in waiting for my turn, one of the stylist in a rude way told system should not have let you book the appointment. Considering the last closing hours, I agreed to get my haircut from a different stylist who was available on my arrival.Being my 2nd visit, I was not completely aware of the way haircuts happen at coolheads and asked for more information to the stylist so that I could get upto speed. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with the way the stylist was interacting and not being helpful.Overall a very bad service experience this time and hopeful to get a better professional stylist on my next visit.

It was an amazing experience I honestly had so much fun, the stylist paid very close attention to my hair and asked me always if I wanted to drink something she was very attentive, awesome service and I really believe my stylist Sookie out did herself.

I would go to great clip and get better service and save money then go here and get blame for didn’t wash hair and using wrong shampoo and just so you guys know this is cool head it’s hard head. Never ever go to this place specially person who cut my hair.

I have been going there for haircuts for a while now. It’s a nice and clean place with a friendly ambiance. I highly recommend Sookie. She is great at what she does, welcoming and spend enough time perfecting the shape and the cut.

Firstly communication is very poor between customers and staff. I have booked an appointment and I was not asked for what I am looking for. They assumed and booked appointment for haircut when I was looking to have both haircut and beard. In the end the lady did both haircut and beard within the allocated time for haircut and she didn’t look interested at all in doing but managed to finish the job that too improperly. The ambience was good. Definitely I didn’t come out of the saloon happily

This might just be, my not being clear. But I went in for a hair cut and beard trim (6+ months of growing it) and I ended up with a terrible trim with cuts all over my face and neck that, I had to come home and do a clean shave on a face, that was bruised and burning already. I could have gotten a much better cut for 1/3rd the price anywhere else.. Will not go back here again.

She’s fast, friendly, and understands your requests.They do offer walk-ins but it’s best to book an appointment on the website. Price is around $25 for “Hair Essentials”, which includes a hot towel and post-haircut gel.

Have had some great haircuts from different stylists from this location. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for an upgrade from a cheaper salon but dont want to break the bank. If you call ahead or make reservations, you usually can get in pretty quickly and not spend too much time waiting.

I highly recommend this place for a a fast and great haircut at an affordable price! I always see Jyra when I get my haircut and she always gives a perfect haircut! I highly recommend her.

I went online to schedule an appointment but the “First Name” and “Last Name” boxes were literally unusable. I called to schedule and the person who answered told me to go online and schedule, where I then proceeded to tell her that the name boxes weren’t working. She said “We’re probably full, I can’t get the system to work on my end either. You can try again in a few minutes.” And I had to hang up with no appointment scheduled for the day.Disappointed, the place looked promising.

Funny convos if youre up for it, quality work, and a relaxing experience all around. Always grab a mint on the way out for the nostalgia.

I moved to Las Colinas a few years back and it took me a few tries until I found the right barber shop, or more specifically, Aliza. She is awesome, she is attentive to detail, she remembers your requirements, she is consistent and maybe equally as important she is has a great sense of humor. I strongly recommend this place and Aliza.

So, we have been going to Cool Heads in Las Colinas (Irving) for the better part of two years. My husband even does the subscription service that they offer and loves it.At no point in my experience have I left there feeling as though I was given anything less than A+ 100% amazing service. The stylists are talented, friendly, and professional. Most important at this time beyond that is how neat, tidy, and SPOTLESSLY clean the salon is. When I see Joletta, I can usually just sit down (like I did today) and just ask her to help me because I can never decide what to do.Today I had my first appointment since the stay at home orders began happening in the US. I hadnt been in for a cut in over three months. I feel like Ive developed a bit of a friendship with Joletta so I naturally requested her from the start. When I got there, I just asked her to help me because with all the long hair I had, I didnt know what to do from there. We never really even had to discuss what to do. I made one suggestion to take just a bit more length off. THATS IT! I trust these women with the finite existence of my hair.From a comfort standpoint with the current pandemic, I just knew that I would safe, comfortable, and enjoy the experience with her.They INSIST upon wearing masks. When you arrive, you come in, sit down in the chair that they JUST sanitized and then youre asked to sanitize your hands as well. When you leave, you leave with the confidence that you went to a responsible salon. I drive from Arlington still in order to see her and her team. Treat yourself to a great experience, a top shelf drink, and have some good conversation.A+ 5 stars 100%
