I went to this place to get detailing for my car and was charged $120 for the interior and exterior. After 2-3 hours of waiting I went to pick up my car and leave. To my surprise when I got home and checked the car I was in disbelief at the amount of dirtiness in the inside of the car. Please believe the reviews and STAY AWAY from this place. Theyll rip you off!

Went to get my car inspection done, but when you pull in its completely unorganized. Its a Car wash, automotive shop, junk yard...etc. So I pulled to the back because I seen the sign that read Slicks Automotive Shop. All to be redirected by a woman who walked up on my car in everyday clothes. Idk if she worked there or was a customer, but she redirected me to the front. Where?!? Past the car wash or somewhere else. Because there arent any signs giving direction. Yeah I get frustrated quickly so, I left. Next place

My car was in this shop for 3 weeks. Took entire payment for the estimate provided by insurance claim in 2nd week but didnt even replace the part/s that they estimated and took money for.The day they called me to pickup the car they made me wait 3 hours since they were waiting for screws and still ended up using zip ties instead of actual screws. When I ask for the receipt, owner said the receipt is whatever Insurance estimated amount is. So I didnt even get any receipt. Conclusively, I found this place absolutely dishonest and shady.I regret my decision to authorize this shop with Insurance to get my car fixed. I cannot in my right mind recommend this shop to anyone for any vehicle work.

This is a family owned business and everyone who I interacted with made sure I was taken care of! I had a high mileage oil change and I had 2 tires replaced. It was done very fast and efficiently. Also, the service wasn’t over priced. I will definitely be returning, and getting my car taken care of by them in the future as well.

This wonderful team got my car looking right again! I was rear ended pretty bad and they fixed it like new in no time at all! They also gave me a rental which made it a whole lot easier. Isaiah is the only mechanic that I will let work on my cars. I took my 2001 Honda accord in to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. I also brought my BMW X5 to have the guide seals replaced. The dealer wanted an arm and a leg. Both times I was treated with professionalism. Thank you Isaiah for all you did.

I went to get my car checked because Im going on a long trip. For a full inspection, an oil change, a tire rotation, and the front brake pads being replaced, I spent $230 total. A small, but very great place to take your car.

I went here for my detailing. To be honest the car was in very rough shape. The owners went above and beyond to get the car clean, especially the seats. The did a fabulous job overall. I highly recommend this place for any type of cleaning or repairs. The owners are very humble and nice people. 👍

Unprofessional I took my car for flat tire, one guy over there took my car and told me he was going to check what is wrong with it without telling me the cost or anything, another guy came and told me i have to pay him 10$ and then took my keys and told me he’s not going to give it to me and then call me stupid on top of that, it’s not about the 10$ it’s the principle of not telling me the price before taking my car to go fix FYI don’t buy tires from them it will be flat the next day

Finally found an honest mechanic who is service oriented and customer friendly to provide an outstanding service at almost 80% less than what dealer service would charge. The Family owned business run by father and his sons provide customers with honest opinion on what it would really cost than finding an opportunity to charge extra. Due to heavy demand of cars coming in there is a room for improvement to keep less waiting time for customers. These folks repair all kind of cars, yes including luxury cars such as Mercedes, BMW and Land Rover and you name it. I strongly recommend this mechanic for your repair needs.

Let me start with my story. i moved to TX few days ago for good. i needed to transfer my car registration to the state of TX and an inspection was required to do that. i googled “inspection near me” and went there. one of the guy who worked there did inspection. its a 2016 car with roughly 30,000 miles. he said the front 2 tires are bad and have to be changed and marked fail on my inspection(later Hyundai dealership said were in decent condition). he asked me to buy 2 used tires from his place for $100 and said its a cheaper deal. i bought it. when he tried to install the tier and said i had to go to Hyundai dealership as he can’t open the lock and gave those tires for $90 instead. i went to Hyundai dealership directly from there and the maintenance tech there said : the 2 tiers won’t fit and someone messed up with the lock on the rim. this was the first time i have someone worked on the tier (don’t know who that someone could be).so i called this place again and spoke with the guy. he claimed the tiers are of right size and he didn’t mess up with the lock. i asked if i can bring those 2 tiers back to him and he said its not their policy to take items back once sold. he just sold me like 30 mins ago 2 tiers that won’t even fit and the worst part is he won’t take it back, i even had Hyundai’s tech talk to him over the phone. he stole my money. i felt like I was being robbed in a broad day light. $90 is not much but refusing to acknowledge mistake and not taking it back bothered me. i threw $90 in trash today. i am never going to this place again. they are there to snatch your money away like they did with mine!! beware!! I’m also thinking abut making an official complaint.

I passed the car wash thats next to my house to come here because its usually better but there was not any soap in the machine! Its a self-wash car wash and the spray house setting was set on SOAP but I only got water!I basicly paid to rinse my car off!I was so disappointed.

Went there to get my inspection checked and an old change it took almost 4 hours, I was the first person in that day..... They also sold me on a set of 4 tires. I told them I would come in 3 days. Monday for the down payment somehow the price for the quote on the tires had gone up. The installation took over 3 hours. This place is shady becareful. Take pictures. Record conversations. Very shady mechanic shop

I went for an brake job and the dealer was trying to charge me over $800 for my Mercedes Benz repairs Slick did the job right the first time and I left paying almost half the price!! Extremely satisfied...

This guys will clean your car and you will not even recognize it. Very excellent service. They turned my Nissan Altima from old to brand new. They are the best you can find in Irving. I will highly recommend their services. They basically do everything for me when it comes to Car services. I wish there were 10 stars.

Fast and dependable. Even checks in periodically to make sure all regular maintenance is done. They always go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with their service!

I called them up I wanted to know how much for a detail on a Chevy Spark. They said I hundred dollars. I took it in then they said a hundred and twenty. I said whatever and I dropped it off. an hour later they called me up and said it was ready. They did not have time to clean it properly. When I picked it up it appeared to be wet. When I got it home everything dried. The water spots that I dropped it off for was still there. the little dirt smudges was still there. They told me when I dropped it off oh yeah they will come out. I wasted my money.! One week later I took it someplace else pay them $140 all the spots came out. Do not take your car here they are Crooks and thieves. About the only thing they did was run it through the wash. Vacuum clean it. And spray it with Fred Breeze. And it cost me a hundred and twenty dollars. Just throw your money in the trash and clean it yourself you have a much better outcome.

I went in for a simple oil change at Slicks Auto-Detail and I was in for a whole other story. When I walked in I was assured that this is a well certified place and a good place to fix my car. As I got my oil change done I later found out that the man that fixed my car had zero experience and had no clue at all what he was doing. my car was in perfect condition and I was just looking for a simple oil change yet he took out a part and didn’t know how to put it back and caused a massive leak in my engine causing the car to be unsafe for my wife and kids on the road. coming to this mechanic has caused me to pay at least 5K in repairs and I took it to the BMW mechanic and they found a lot more repairs thanks to this. I plan on taking this to court and getting back what’s mine. I don’t recommend this place at all if you want your car back in one piece.

Never has any good soap or wax. The high pressure hose is never high pressure. The coin machine always eat up more quarters than needed.

Slick is a good guy. I would reccomend friends and family take their cars their. The one thing I was unhappy about is the repair I needed was a lite pricey. Back home in PA it would not cost much at all....the job they did would have been at most (and that is at a shady place likr Midas $45) but with my line of work amd lack workspace I will continue to use Slicks for my needs while I am in Dallas. Its a great place for a detail and wash job tho. My car was beautiful and cleaner than it had ever been when it came out.

This place is amazing. My wife and I went for our state inspections and their hours are so nice as no one else was open on Sunday. Theyre also super friendly and quick. We were ther about 20 mins and he took care of both our cars and got us out of there and gave us some other helpful information that we could get the sticker day of at krogers. They do a bunch of other car service stuff too so check them out. Ill probably try them out for my car detailing.

Went in for a detail on Saturday. They had me leave my car. Then later called me saying their credit card reader doesnt work. And I had about an hour to bring in cash or else they would hold my car until Monday since they are closed on Sunday. Pretty ridiculous considering it was their fault that was causing the inconvenience. This was the least of my problems with them- it was how UNPROFESSIONAL and extremely short they were regarding the whole scenario. They later apologized but I was still very disappointed. As for the detail, it was subpar, too- as if they winged the whole thing. Oh well.

After receiving a quote of over 1000 at another shop I was disappointed until i came across Slicks State Inspection! Not only did they save me SOOOO much money but the customer service is amazing!!!! Thank you Slicks!!!!

Quick and easy state inspection. Helpful.

Took and hour and a half to get an oil change which was frustrating because I was one of two people in the waiting area.The next day oil was dripping on my driveway because the oil filter wasn’t put on correctly. Such a waste of my time to go back and have them to fix it. So I just watch the oil drip onto my driveway each morning until I have the time to go pay another place to fix it.
