This place is closest to my home so I have had to use it a half dozen times and every time I leave angry and fustrated. The pump doesnt connect properly so it shuts off or it freezes on waiting for cashier or it automatically says thanks for your purchase 10 times before help arrives and says its a vapor lock issue with the pump please move to another. Save yourself time go to a different station

I frequent this convenience store, because it is the closest store that sells snacks, beer, drinks, etc. However, service quality has recently plummeted. I stopped by and bought a scratch-off lottery ticket, and I happen to win. Being excited about a semi-decent win for $100( on a $20 ticket), I returned to cash in the ticket the next day. I was turned away because they said they didnt have enough cash in the register. I understood the first day, and returned again the second day to find the same thing. Finally, the third day I bring the ticket in and even make a sizeable purchase for nearly $50, when I didnt plan on making a purchase at all. But, I figured it would help bring down the cash back amount. The middle-aged woman, who could hardly speak proper English proceeds to get upset because I was trying to cash the very lottery ticket I bought from that location. I explain that if you cannot cash out scratch-off lottery tickets, then you shouldnt sell them. She proceeds to get angry and tells me I have to pay for everything out of pocket. I told her the only reason I got this much to begin with was to help lower the funds she needed to return to me. Reluctantly, she throws a fit and clicked a few buttons on the cash register, which made the safe dispense the cash needed. SO, YOU MEAN TO TELL ME FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS, ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS PRESS THREE BUTTONS! There is no excuse. THIS IS LAZINESS. Yes, there are a couple employees here that I have great respect for and they are extremely helpful. This was a horrible experience though, especially when I came back three separate times...

Pretty clean, bathroom and a snack

The screens are all messed up and extremely sluggish. Sometimes it can take several minutes to enter rewards information and my debit card. Often the program will jump back to the start menu and force one to start over again for no apparent reason. Sometimes it wont respond to button presses, then after a long pause flicker between several screens. This is all while lines of cars form at a gas station that is already always very very busy. These things desperately need to be replaced. Until this is resolved I will take my business to Chevron over on 17561 MacArthur Blvd.

Station attendant helped ensure the air and water pump turned on after buying gas, and stayed on until finished without having to go back and ask to restart the pump. Thank you for paying attention Rakesh!

No matter what time I come, if after 11pm the cashier is in break or has the doors locked for one reason or another. Closest other convenience store is quite a ways away so if its late dont waste your time coming here and being turned away.

Very nice station its pretty big no diesel in here the restroom is clean and thers car wash Express next to it.

No thrills gas station in Irvine. I prefer Shell gas and this is one of the only ones in the area. It can be very busy during rush hour so Id recommend getting gas outside of those hours.

Some of the other reviews mention that the gas station is the only one in the area, which is true. Their pricing, however, is on-par with the other major brand gas stations in Irvine. Their convenience store is actually pretty nice.

The most frustrating gas station I have ever experienced in my life. The gas station is ALWAYS busy but only because of its convenient location, not the service it offers. The frequency of Out of Service pumps is outrageous. One should never expect to get gas at the first pump and instead play an infuriating game of pump roulette with the other patrons who are equally as frustrated. Half the time the broken pumps aren’t even labeled as such so you get excited to finally not have to wait in a long line to find out through trial and error that the pump doesn’t work. If you inform the inside staff they will just have you pay at the register and then never put up a sign for future patrons at the pump. At this point I dont know why they don’t have half a dozen laminated Out of Service signs at the ready. They should have diverted their money from the remodel to fixing their pumps.

Buttons on some pumps dont work. Also the gas pumps slow, a tell tale sign the owner doesnt change out the filters. As for the cashiers, the day they are average and below. The night crew is a mess. Long waits to check out, have trouble ringing items up and they speak little English.

Wouldnt turn on the air when I asked, even though I bought gas (its illegal to charge for air in CA).

This is the only gas station in a 2 mile radius. With that said, it gets jammed up with cars waiting and obstructing traffic flow.

In very close proximity to Hotel Irvine and Irvine Business Complex, at peak times there are many cars waiting for the pumps.
