The team at Indy laptops is amazing! I have a portable monitor that needed the screen replaced. No other repair stores were able to repair it. I bought a refurbished Dell XPS 13 from Indy Laptops in late June of 2021. My experience talking with the owner while shopping there was so pleasant and helpful, and the laptop has turned out to be one of the best I have ever owned. It must be about 5 years old, which sounds like it would be slow and antiquated, but in fact it looks almost brand new, just one tiny scratch, and is screaming fast with many hours of battery life. I can sit on my back porch for the entire morning using the laptop without recharging. I was considering buying a new MS Surface, but saved myself about $1500. I had heard good things about Indy Laptops and discovered firsthand what makes them so good. The invoice also included instructions like The cooling system must be maintained - blowing out the dust to allow free air flow. We will do this for you for free... and other things of that nature. They want to keep their customers happily computing. I am very satisfied with the whole experience.

Bought a Lenovo Thinkpad from these people. Had problems right out of the box. This is a reworked, remanfufactured unit. I am not computer savvy, but have been using long enough to work through problems. Cant remember the first issue, neither my wife who is computer savvy nor I could not fix issue, had to call the business after a few days after purchase.Talked to BOB owner, at first he wanted the PC brought back in, then he took some time and walked my wife through the issue. This guy doesnt have any respect for peoples time!There were other issues with the PC that I felt that I could get through, but there were two that I could not and had to take the PC in., because BOB would not try and work through the issues over the phone! This only after 3 weeks.The female working the phone and desk was helpful, but she is a professional BSer, thats why she is there! She blamed all of the issues on Windows 10, she said EVERYONE has these problems.I had to re-enter a new pass word after deleting the history browser, she said that was normal, then said that it wasnt normal and that the PC should not have made me do that. Then she said it was because of windows 10. She blames everything wrong with the PC on Windows 10, and then states there is nothing that can be done about it!!!!!!Here is the biggest problem, they will not let me return this PC for a refund. The BSer said that they have a 3 day return policy and that its on the back of the receipt. THEY DONT actually tell you there is a 3 day return policy. I asked and she said 90 days, then she said after I requested my money back that the 90 days was for the warranty. I willbe contacting the Indiana State Attorney Generals Office and complaining.I have been self-employed for 33 years, I was taken. If it had not been for a close friend that sent me to them I would have never trusted or used them. I assumed they were honest, NEVER ASSUME especially when dealing with these people. The female is a good BSer and knows her job as a BSer well, the owner BOB just sits in another room. They repair computers, but BOB was too busy to look at mine when I was at the location, the female who works the desk and who said all of the issues are Windows 10 related looked at it. Its amazing that she did not tell me about Windows 10 issue before taking my money.STAY AWAY from these people, go somewhere where you can return a defective or POS product.These people are DISHONEST and DECEITFULL, they will take your money out of your pocket with one hand and shake your other at the same time. Good price for an HPZbook with 16gb of RAM. The owner gave me a 3 month warranty and told me if I need more RAM, just bring the computer back for a decent price. Overall, the prices are very good for computers. You dont have to go through the red tape of a retailer like Best Buy.

I had the best experience at Indy Laptops. I broke my computer charger and the metal/plastic was stuck in the charger jack. Best Buy told me they could not fix it since the mother board was broken (it was not) at the store and that it would take me buying accidental insurance and sending it off to get fixed for 5 weeks, which was not possible since it was my work laptop. My co-worker told me about Indy Laptops- I brought it in immediately and Bob fixed it in an hour. I saved hundreds of dollars, time, and anxiety. Bob was very kind. Not a lot of places know how to deal with hardware issues on a Wacom Cintiq. Neither did these guys. We both figured out they can.The charging port of my Wacom Cintiq Companion was becoming loose and not conducting a charge, which meant the thing was just going to be bricked. These guys saved the day. I was prepared to hear this thing was toast, now its taking a charge again.Wacoms are pretty big among my peers. Now I know where Ill send them.

I brought in a computer which we had been told more than once could not be fixed. We asked Indy Laptops to simply remove the data for us. Mark called and asked what was wrong with the computer. Found this computer store by chance, driving a different route to miss construction. What a nice surprise. Owner & staff took time to answer questions, you can drop in without an appointment and they will get to you as soon as possible. They cleaned up my computer (running much better), gave me info on what my laptop isand is not capable of and at a price that was very reasonable. They also sell refurbished laptops, allowing you to browse whats available with no pressure to purchase something. Only negative thing is the parking, not a lot of space and lot is not in good shape.

I wish I could give them more stars. As a writer it was a very hard thing to go through when I went to my pen to the outside world and it didn’t turn on. I was hoping it wouldnt be like another computer I had that after a few years just quit and I lost everything. Well this time I had to do more than call a friend. Took in a HP laptop today that was about 18 months old and hardly used. It was working fine, then just shut down and would not power back on. I was getting multiple blue screens. I usually always solved my own issues because Ive had bad experiences in the past with repair shops. Either they charge you too much, suggest unnecessary fixes or take too long. As a student dependent on one laptop I needed it back as soon as possible.IndyLaptops not only were professional, but very fair and helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience. I spilled pop all over my laptop and went straight to Indy Laptops. They were helpful and non-judgmental of my clumsiness. I called Indy Laptops today at 2:20 p.m. Described the problem I was having. They told me to come in. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. I needed to leave there with a working laptop and did not know what to expect. The problem was diagnosed and repaired within an hour. Even replaced my CD Drive (at my request) which was not part of the original problem. They listened to me, answered my questions, and explained everything they were doing and why. Their service was impeccable but what cinched it for me was the costs. I paid a whole lot less than what I expected even with giving them a tip for great service. I will be returning to purchase a desktop as a backup unit.

I went in a week ago for repair on the palm for my laptop, and its working perfectly! They were nice, and very good at explaining what was happening, and what needs to happen.

My laptop is not fixed and I felt like they didnt really listen to what I thought could be the problem. They said they removed a virus, and maybe they did, but the problem remains...theres no warranty on the service and so Ill just wait until my son comes for a visit and have him fix it. :(

Ive been using IndyLaptops for my computer needs for the past few years. They are hands-down the best service and best value in town (yes, better than Best Buys Geek Squad). Case in point: Most recently, Jean and Mark bought and installed Windows 10 Pro and Bitlocker for me for significantly less than what Geek Squad said theyd charge me for the same services. In addition, I got a free hard drive as a backup precaution due to my original hard drive being wiped and reconfigured with 10, and even got Jeans personal cell number in case I had any issues come up after the fact. Now tell me: who else in Indianapolis will go the extra mile for you for the same costs? Best in the business - highest recommendation.

I didnt actually buy anything today, but the woman working was very knowledgeable, helpful, and not pushy.

I had an HP 17 inch laptop with a loose hinge. They tightened one screw accessible from the outside but said additional screws were probably loose inside. I told them to open up the computer and check. While I watched, they removed 35 screws to take out the bottom plate and found two additional screws posts broken free from the base. They epoxied the screw retainers back into place and I left the shop about 45 minutes later with the computer. They said they have seen this problem before in non-commercial grade laptops. Installation of a new base would have cost 4 to 6 times what I paid for this repair. Excellent service.
