Always push cars that have been on lot too long on you. Blame it on not meeting credit loan requirements.Buy Here Pay Here Building, and Buick dont have the same computer system. They dont communicate.Call and make an appointment for an oil change? Make sure you call the right Location... If you dont youll have to make an appointment for another day and time. π‘ I will definitely recommend doing research before going to buy from a Dealership.
I came to Greenwood Labor Day sale today to look for an affordable car that i urgently need all the way from downtown and I specifically chose Ray Skillman to ask since my husband had a nice experience with them. I found a nice Hyundai which was kind of more than my price range but it looked clean and i wanted to test drive it. I also asked for the personβs card since I didnβt want to decide so quick and would like to have some time to think about it. As a normal customer, I asked many questions about financing details and I guess that was my right. After they made me wait for several minutes under the sun for the key,I was told it was already sold to someoneβs daughter from the firm. Really? I was a serious buyer so it is your loss. I guess being a woman and also an immigrant makes you think I cannot afford it in your terms.
I went to Ray Skillman yesterday - Evan Miller was my sales person and he did a really great job assisting me. I felt very comfortable with him and he explained everything very thoroughly and got me into a vehicle and payment that I could afford and I got exactly what wanted. I canβt say enough good things about my experience, especially as a single female who doesnβt know a ton about vehicles. I would one hundred percent recommend this dealership and Evan!!!
They were kind and helpful. Jim the mechanic was real understanding and polite, I really think he knows his buisness I will be back for more work to be done on my truck. Big thumbs up
Very good experience buying a new car. From first contact with a professional salesperson who had a lot of patience with us as we made this major decision. to discussing all the options with the finance manager, I would definitely recommend Ray Skillman to anyone looking to buy a car.
They got us in a new vehicle without any problems they were nice to us and we enjoyed their hospitality. And the coffee is good.
A tremendous selections in a variety of different vehicles . Did not find what caught my eye . Because the Youkon that caught my eye just got sold . So needless to say I plan on giving 1 month or 2 cuz I am in no big hurry . But I am for sure choosing this place to get my next car . Everyone of the staff members was so very nice . & The guy that walked around the lot with my mom & I TRULY knew what car my mom was describing as well as knowledge of all the vehicles we looked at . So he decently sold us on where I am getting my car . You guys & gals at Ray Skillman Southside are A OUTSTANDING TEAM & WE HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL SO CALLED CAR LOTS .SINCERELYR . Scott
Although Im grateful for the sales staff getting let into a vehicle, the finance guy was the most unprofessional person Ive ever encountered. I was shook down for money that was not the agreed upon scenario for my purchase. Mr. Skillman...please teach your finance people what it means to work in a customer service role.
0 stars.. replaced the transmission in our 2012 Kia Optima, took them a week to do it and $2500... only receive the car back, none of the electronics on the steering wheel work, airbag light is, on and the traction control light... They tried to tell us it was merely coincidence... then they said it was the clock spring for the airbag ... Again coincidence. I explained to them that doesnt explain why all the steering wheel controls stopped working.. meeting with them next week for the service department to inspect.... I am leaving this one star rating until the situation is remedied
Its an awesome place to buy a vehicle or trade yours in for another one. I trade in my old Ford F-150 4Γ4 truck for Jeep Wrangler 4Γ4 then went back a trade the Jeep Wrangler for a nice RAM 1500 4X4 truck. Each time they were nice and treated my like family they even fixed my Pontiac Sunfire that I didnt even buy from them. Thee place I go is on Ray Skillman Auto Mall 5051 West Pike Plaza Road, Indianapolis, IN 46254.
This place is awesome! If you need a new car or trade in then go thru these people. They are very polite, respectful, and caring. They will help you thru your struggle.
This place was awesome. Was a great car buying experience
It was great! Stephen Bagwell was our sales expert and he worked tirelessly to find us just the perfect match for our needs. If we lived here, this would be our first place to shop!! Ask for Stephen! He was great!
They done an amazing job with the recall and made sure all updates were updated. Even washed my car. Service was great and so were the employees
I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! However, I HIGHLY recommend Earl Nymeyer at Southlake Kia, totally worth the extra 2.5 hour drive!Ray Skillman was really going to work me up a deal, haha! They gave me the out the door price on a 22 Kia K5 (signed by myself and the sales guy), gave me the pickup date of October 26, AND we even shook on it! Iβll have you know a handshake at Ray Skillman is just a gesture they do in hopes of spreading COVID around faster! A handshake at Ray Skillman means nothing. Not only did they lie about the out the door price, it was signed and they were absolutely not going to honor it because they forgot to add in taxes. I said, βNo problem, just let me drive something until my car comes in!β Ben (some higher up somebody) said, βNO WAY! We have absolutely nothing on the lot. We cannot do it, we have no cars!! β So, when you see all of their postsβ¦.hundreds of cars, we have so many carsβ¦.save yourself the time, they have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cars! π Apparently their lot is just a place where people leave vehicles parked for days on end?Anywho, Earl at Southlake Kia! Called them a week ago, went up today, picked up my brand new Kia K5, wolf gray, pano sunroof, oh ANNNNNNND a lifetime warranty at no extra cost! Thank you, Ray Skillman KIA, for saving me from dealing with you for another month and pushing me to look for a way better deal than you would ever give!
Oh! How I just ADORE Amy Miller (Service Consultant) at Rayskillman (8424 U.S 31 South)- EVERY encounter has been EXTREMELY pleasant! Even when I do not get service at the RAYSKILLMAN service, she is still so HELPFUL. My husband was in a bad accident yesterday and she provided assistance in regards to next steps to start the repair process with the RAYSKILLMAN collision center (1210 U.S 31 SOUTH GREENWOOD IN 46143), and with that little assistance, it took us FAR and made the beginning process of dealing with an accident a straight BREEZE!!!! She HONESTLY gives RAYSKILLMAN a GREAT look! I COULD not be HAPPIER through this tough time for us!!!!
Wonderful service. I had a key replaced and they had it to me in no time. Nice salesmen and women.
Nice clean great price very nice parts service she was very willing to help powells INDY thanks
Never again will I go here. They stole my grandmas worm and made it do push-ups. I was deeply offended because the car salesman told me his name was jubreakit jubuyit
We had to do a tow in,had plenty of room to move around.
1st time customer. Had air conditioning fixed and we were without our car only 1 day. It wasnt the compressor and simply a switch that was leaking. Then they found they had charged us for a part they didnt use, so the charge is being corrected also. They have gained a new customer. A special thanks to Noel and the crew.
They know they should not have charge what they did for at the most a hour job.
If I could give zero stars I would. I bought my vehicle from them this fall and we worked out a deal. I had many questions along the way and had a hard time getting in contact with someone that knew the answers to my questions. I wanted updates of the car being shipped and other things but after I sent them money i didnt hear a thing. Later they accidentally wrote and sent me a check then contacted me a couple weeks later saying they did not mean to send it to me. They claimed if I wouldnt send it back they would not send me my title even though the car was paid in full. They managed to call me back fast when they needed money. For me I kept calling to ask different questions about my vehicle and no one knew the answer, and kept forwarding me to different people. To this day no one has helped me and always pass me along to someone else. I received my title after two months of waiting. They are unprofessional and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I have bought cars before from out of state, just like them, and others have helped me make sure I was happy and reimbursed me for my taxes since I paid them to do it, but I ended up doing it myself. I worked out a deal with my salesman here to do it the same way and they did not send my check for taxes when I paid them to do it, but I went and did them myself. They also told me what I said is not true and called me a liar. Working with cars for a living I would never treat a customer like that and I would not write a check out to someone AND send it by mistake. I never leave bad reviews but after being told time and time again someone will call me back they never do. If youre reading this review, stay away from this company.
Great experience! All of the staff were kind and knowledgeable, and helped us find our new car.
Stephanie and her team (Taylor) were great! Very friendly and great personality! Taylor was fantastic! She was very professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles. The team worked hard with getting us into a vehicle. We didnt leave with the one we went for, but we did leave with a newer one! Thank you Stephanie and Taylor for being so great! If your looking for a car or suv, This is the place to go and ask for Stephanie or Taylor! We dont have the greatest credit, matter of fact its pretty crappie. But Ray Skillman Southside GMC got us into a vehicle! There down payments and monthly ( you can choose weekly, biweekly or monthly) were better than some of the buy here pay here places that we looked at and so was the vehicles! If your in the market for a used vehicle, I would start here first!
Auction cars that I was looking at off couldnt give me financing on anything else
We love Kyler Castro! Hes a good guy! Also, a HUGE shout out to Stephen Bagwell he is the salesman to go see for the best deals! Both Kyler and Stephen are an awesome team and will treat you right!
Got my credit info all wrong then lied about it and tried to fix it.. not to be trusted
Stood for 10 minutes waiting on someone to help us get wind shield wipers. There was also a guy in front of us. No one came to help either of us.
I spoke with Laura over the phone several times, she was very helpful! Once we got therewe were assisted by DJ McQuire...he was very kind and knowledgeable about each car he brought to us and let us drive. He worked with us from showing the cars to doing the final paperwork! We got a 2018 Equinox. We appreciate you DJ.
Good dealership. Bought there at least 3 times. Just like all dealerships though. Low on pickups right now.
Great experience here! Staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. They were also informative
Friendly people and atmosphere...Didnt feel pressure at all...
I was looking to purchase a SUV to accommodate transporting my grandchildren. I searched the website for several months and I came across a 2017 Nissan Murano SL. Scheduled a test drive and I fell in love with the vehicle. After hours of negotiations and paperwork I made the purchase. After about 4 to 6 weeks of driving it I found out that when it rains water gets inside the car. I contacted my sales guy Jason Clark ( tried to make contact with him for about 6 weeks, no return call after leaving several messages) I called again explained the issue and an appointment was made to fix the issue. The service department was very nice and they explained what they did to fix the problem. Over the weekend it rained and guess what....the vehicle was still getting wet inside. Since then I have taken it in 3 times. After the 3rd time I requested a loaner vehicle since they would need to keep my vehicle for a few days and I am now on a wait list. Each time it rains there is more and more water damage to the inside of the vehicle. Someone please help. What can I do?? Thinking about legal action
Went there twice, an hour drive. Was told one thing on the phone, and another after getting there. Very unprofessional. Already paid a car off through there, but still needed 6000.00 down on the vehicle I wanted
Thanks to all the great service members and staff. They gave us fast and thorough service.
Finance a car and had problems they used someone else social security number and put it in someone elses name
We had an excellent experience at Skillman Southside Buick & GMC. Damon was extremely helpful. He was very thorough and walked us through the entire process. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. It seemed like everyone there was looking out for the customer. We are SOOOO satisfied with our 2017 GMC Acadia. This will be the dealer that we get our cars from in the future. If you need a new or used car, go talk to Damon Sizemore. He will treat you right!!!
It was ok but I left the auto center disappointing because I really want a truck or a midsize suv but didnt have enough for a down payment so I was told.
Completely effed up car repair, lost a wheel on the interstate and almost killed me. The technicians know less than a high school graduate.
Super nice people super fast service everybody was wonderful and the restrooms were very clean
My wife and I just leased a 2020 GMC Acadia AT4. Evan helped us through the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure we got the best value. We terminated our current lease a year early because we needed a bigger vehicle and Evan was able to essentially allow us to walk away from the old lease without any penalty (which is something I did not even know was possible). At one point we were set on going with the Acadia Denali, which was far more expensive. However, Evan found a much better deal on the AT4 we ended up going with. There is a lot to be said about a salesman that isnt only worried about his bottom line but more concerned about his customers getting the best value, and we greatly appreciate that. I am sure Evan would have made a higher commission if we had gone with the Acadia Denali, but he found us a much better deal and now has a customer for life!
Nothing like getting ripped off with a smile. I bought my vehicle from Ray Skillman on July 25th, in 4 months my vehicle has been in the shop twice, Ive had to pay for it both times also when I called the dealership to see if I could trade it in for a different vehicle they told me they couldnt get my payments any lower then $700 a month because Im upside down on this vehicle. Told me Good luck and goodbye. Ill never come here again and Im definitely going to tell anyone and everyone my story.
Very friendly staff. Also clean
Got the run around at first but in the end they took good care of me great people
Salesman: Josh Cones.Good guy. Friendly and responsive. If you have no other option but to shop at Ray Skillman, I recommend Josh. However, I was sold a lemon and Ray Skillman will do NOTHING for me.Last May, I purchased a 2014 Chevy Captiva with a 2.4-liter LEA Ecotec four-cylinder engine that currently does not run and needs two pistons replaced as well as a timing chain (all ruined due to oil consumption issue). The car is only worth about $2k now and because of the negative equity, I cannot get another car (to get me to work so that I [single parent] can provide for my family) and consolidate my loans.Additionally, back in the fall, the intake manifold clogged up due to a failed PCV system. I paid for repairs out of pocket ($700), but it is a continuing issue.Three weeks ago, it had a sudden, catastrophic loss of engine oil in the cold weather snap that we had and died twice within a half mile. I limped her home and waited to be towed/inspected. Upon inspection, it was revealed that I was 3 quarts low on oil (not due for an oil change for another 700 miles) and one Chevy dealer says it is not due to the PCV system failure and will not repair the vehicle per the extended service program from March 2015 that extends the warranty on the Captiva to 120,000 miles or 10 years. This adjustment covers the checking and replacement of the PCV system which can fail in cold temperatures. It was stated, rather, that I had faulty (design flaw) piston rings which caused the engine to excessively burn oil.In 2019, a class action lawsuit was filed against GM for this piston ring design flaw. Sadly, they say that it does not cover my Captiva even though it has been confirmed by GM to be the exact same problem (GM only covers 2010-2013 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain - not Captiva). The dealership I purchased from, Ray Skillman, is no help. They seem to be perfectly fine not warning consumers of faulty engines (this is a BIG deal that anyone who works in the auto industry should know) and thus seem content selling lemon vehicles to people who trusted and relied on them.Even though I purchased a newer vehicle from a large (and supposedly honest and trusted) dealership (Ray Skillman on US 31, Greenwood IN) and maintained it properly, my car currently does not run and needs two pistons and a timing chain (both ruined due to the aforementioned oil consumption issue). The car is only worth about $2k now and because of the negative equity, I cannot get another car (the starting point of providing for my family considering there is no public transportation in the small town I reside in and have a 45 minute commute to work one-way) and consolidate loans.Ray Skillman wont help me. GM Dealership wont help me. I purchased this car LESS THAN ONE YEAR AGO in the hope of having a reliable, gas efficient commuter utility vehicle. It is none of those things thanks to the oil consumption problem.Ray Skillman did me wrong and are STILL doing me wrong. I am currently investigating legal recourse with lemon law attorneys. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Ray Skillman. They will tell you anything to get you out of the door with debt. Keep in mind that this purchase was the FIRST FINACANCED PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY LIFE and now I owe $10,000 on a lemon that doesnt even run. My life and the life of my family is basically ruined thanks to the dishonest (or simply uneducated) employees of Ray Skillman. The right thing for them to do would be to buy it back just to the point where I could get another loan and get put in another vehicle, but that is a fat chance. I would graciously give Ray Skillman another chance at being my go-to dealership if only they could offer the same grace to those they have wronged - intentionally or otherwise.THANKS FOR NOTHING, RAY SKILLMAN!
Got a great deal, good price on my trade and a very nice salesman! He listened to my needs and wants, found a couple of great rides that fit me and then worked with me!
They go above and beyond to help us find the right SUV for us, at a price we can afford!
Great people this is our 6th car and will be more.
Josh was very knowledgeable and helpful. Ultimately the deal didnt line up but no fault of the dealer. See Josh for all your Denali and diesel needs!
I was very appreciative in the fact that they were able to get me financed. My main grievance is the passenger door looks like a child painted it after cleaning the vehicle and inspecting it closer. Overall Iβm happy with the vehicle but I wish they were more forthcoming with the condition of the body.Update(5/9/2021I donβt think itβs unreasonable to expect a car with less than 20k miles to not start jerking when you brake and to have a bad battery in it Iβll be calling them first thing in the am I know the battery is on me but the rear end issues need addressed
I was told nothing but good things about Ray Skillman but unfortunately I cannot say the same. I have been to RS different 3 times and I have been given nothing but the run around and stall tactic each time in order for me to either take what they want to give me or to come with more money. Im I need of a vehicle for not only work but I need it to go all the way to my hometown to bury my mother, and they still did this to me. Im very dissatisfied with Rd and I will not ever come back to them for a vehicle.
I wouldnt deal with these people again if my life depended on it because they dont even know how to read pieces of paper that have information on them try to tell me I had $195 a month income when I had $814 a month income on that piece of paper not including the rest of my income and denied me transportation so I can get back to work these people are losers they will pull your credit and pull your credit until they lower your credit score where you cant get anything
Kacey was patient, polite, and very knowledgeable when we came in to shop for a new car. My husband has been a ford man since he was 16 and Kacey sold him on a brand new Kia! Kacey continued to give us great information and let he Kias great qualities sell itself to us. We loved that Kacey let us take our time, wasnt pushy and allowed us to ask all the questions we needed to stay well informed on this big decision. Thanks for the great new car!
Drove through to look. It was raining and Dylan Lewis still came out and greated me to see if I needed help. Very friendly and made me comfortable. I was impressed he was willing to help, even in the rain! Told him what I was looking for and he texted me some choices. Will test drive soon.
Even being treated very poorly by Bob Roman Andy Hyundai on East Washington Street went to race skillman and was treated very fairly with courteous and respect unlike Bob rohrman in the Hyundai on East Washington Street my salesman at skillman was very helpful and resourceful despite the fact that Bob rohrman in the Hyundai was very unprofessional and showed up at my job and harassed me my salesman at Indy Hyundai was very resourceful and informational kudos to the sale person but not the other individuals
Good service was great very helpful
Evan Miller has done everything for us. He has gone above and beyond for our car and the services. He has been very kind to our family, very considerate of his main customers and their families. He has put us in a great vehicle that rides like a dream. We HIGHLY recommend Evan and Ray Skillman for any car service.
Ray skillman was great Everyone was very friendly. Truck prices are out of control though. 40000 for a truck with 50000 miles! Never thought i would do that but if you need one thats the going rate lol.
Your sales rep. Leah H is an awesome diligent team player! She was very fundamental in the purchasing of my vehicle! Had she have not been as focused and determined to seal the deal, we may not have had one! Thanks again, Leah!
Nice place. 3 tries. I couldnt get what I wanted. Found it cheaper and with everything I wanted. They wanted to give me what they thought I should have. No thanks...
Always takes care of my service needs with professionalism. Highly recommend
Ive lost all faith in Ray Skillman after their Service Dept made multiple mistakes in the past with my car, but I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and now my engine is ruined. Im very hurt by the way Ive been treated, their Service Dept ruined my Kia Rios engine and they know it, but they wont admit it and no one has reached out to me or addressed my concerns. EDIT TO ADD: Someone did reach out to me about my concerns, I am cautiously hopeful they will do right by me...
Great visit.
Always friendly and courteous service! Ive dealt with them many times for my vehicles. I referred my mom and stepdad to Ray Skillman because their truck got totaled weeks ago and they needed a new ride. Micheal Alberty is who I dealt with back in July for my new 2020 Kia Sportage and I love it. My mom and stepdad wound up going down last week and got a new to then Nissan Murano which they love already. Cant thank Michael and Tommy enough for all their help!
On two different days in October, as COVID numbers were rising in the city, and as a mask mandate remained in place, there was not a single member of their sales, service or finance team that had any face covering. This includes in small enclosed offices, and face to face at desks (not just in the open air outside). The salesmen, mask around his neck. Financing, no mask. Sales manager, no mask. The young man who was the product specialist / delicery was the only one I saw in the entire building, over a period of more than 3 hours to have any face covering.I shop several other locations throughout the city, and this wasnt an issue anywhere else (including another Ray Skillman location).Absolutely appalled by the total disregard for customers. I plan on reporting this to the board of Health.
I had heard good things about Ray Skillman so I called them to get a price on a car I was very interested in buying. I called on 8/8/2020 and a salesman named Collin took all my information and said he would get the price and all the information and call me back shortly. 5 days later....I still havent heard back from them and I got a car somewhere else. I was shocked by the underwhelming experience. I guess they dont need business given they have no sense of urgency to even try to get you to buy a car.
Ive purchased 3 cars from Ray skillman.. and I have to say.. use to like them.. but now theyre only about themselves.. they dont care what you asked for.... selfish!!..
Not the friendliest salesperson. Send you a letter stating youre pre-approved only too be told you should wait a year or longer. Got letter from them wanting my vehicle but didnt back up their so called offer
I bought a used vehicle here about 3 months ago and the radio didnβt work. No problem, they said they had a new one on order and they could ship it to me when it comes in. Well 3 months and 5 phone calls later, Iβm going to buy my own radio because All I get from them is βIβll have check and give you a call backβ.....guess who never calls back...
Qe purchased 2 cars as the same time, and Kohlin, Mike and Andrew (gm) were awesome. They made sure I was completely happy with my purchases. Its great that they are not on commission, thus no high pressure sales tactics. This is the 5th car I have purchased from skillman and I will continue to return. Thanks.
Never having dealt with a Ray Skillman dealership, I just assumed it would be a typical dealership experience. Boy was I wrong. They truly did everything to make the deal come together and Caitlinβs efforts to help us get what we wanted and at the payment we were requesting was superb. They ended up giving lots of extras and on a 12 out of 10 vehicle. All dealerships say they want to exceed expectations but Ray Skillman Kia West sets the bar. Itβs your fault if you donβt give them a chance. They are the best I have ever dealt with in my 63 years. .
Good service. Very professional. Love the personal attention.
Great people.
Took minutes to get a replacement key cut. Thank God. Way cheaper than a locksmith
The staff there was awesome!! especially the young man that took care of me Brian ive been dealing with them for a few years now and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks to you all @Ray Skillman
Do Not Buy A Car HereIve bought four previous cars from Skillman and the experiences were excellent. They seem to have changed recently. We told them our price limit, and they tried to push us into stuff 20% more expensive. Then, the car they did sell us had worn brakes, but it is used. However, previously that would have been fixed before showing. Then, our mechanic found a bad front axle. The sales reps response was, Well, thats not too bad. Both together were a $900 fix, AFTER buying the car. Then, I noticed it pulling to one side. Turns out the rear axles were bad, too. Another $800.Part of the purchase was to have the towing package installed, which for some reason they couldnt schedule for a month. Then they scheduled it, but ordered the wrong kit, so they had to keep the car for two more days, but they didnt tell me this before closing time, so I didnt have the car for a business weekend. Then, they installed the hitch, but not the wiring harness which is part of the TOWING PACKAGE, and we had to take it back yet again.I received emails from both rep and sales manager telling me to contact them with any issues. My emails were ignored. It wasnt until I went in in person that I got the hitch taken care of, and the rest blown off.I sent a paper letter to the sales manager. Two weeks later, no response.I will not be back. Theyve turned into textbook used car salesmen, jacking up the price and providing inferior support.
They are great people. They did everything they could to get me in a car thank you so much Ray Skillman
My husband bought a new Kia K5, Michael Alberty, was amazing. And Duane the finance guy was amazing as well.
Always great automotive care.
Jason Clark is one of the best seller.. when me and my husband walked in there we never expect to meet someone that actually cares about trying to help their customers in a way that will benefit that entire family.. I had great experience with all his team thank you for the great experience
A total #1 experience. They are quality people.
This place was amazing! Customer service was amazing! Not one complaint! They helped us out so much more than they know! Would recommend a million times.
I. Was there to test drive a vehicle, as a fundraiser for my high school band grandson. The salesman who very. Personable and kind to me. Other salesmen. Spoke. to measure well. One of them got me a bottle of ice cold ice water. The temp was 90 outside.. Their cooperation and kindnesses will not be forgotten!!!!
First time, fast friendly service. Thanks Ki
Conner (sales) & Doug (finance) made my first dealership experience easy and as stress free as possible. They both had the best upbeat attitude. They were extremely patient with my husband and I. Conner was very informative and if he did not have the answer to something he quickly found it. We were so back and forth on vehicles and he did not make me feel pressured. Doug worked his magic and helped get us in a price range we were comfortable with. My over all experience was great ! Definitely recommend this location!
Did not buy the truck we wanted but salesman was very helpful thank you Alex Jordan
I was sold a Ray Skillman Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that had been wrecked quite extensively under a masked rear bumper. I did not see this until I departed the finance office with my newly signed documents a smile on my face and excited to get my belongings out of my trade in and put them in my new car. As I was transferring my stuff to the new car (which was washed while I was in the finance office) I noticed the right rear freshly washed bumper had some damage. I brought this to the attention of the Skillman staff (sales, and management) immediately. I was told wow Dont think theres much we can do about that. After stating I cannot leave without some sort of documentation stating that someone will fix it they handed me a piece of paper stating we owe you, since start this horrible downward spiral of mistrust, insults, and horrible first time customer service. I have been dealing with Ray Skillman ever since that day.... which resulted in Sensors being replaced, bad paint job, parts broken. I will start with the Sensor (BSD blind spot detector sensor which I believe by law should have been fixed before purchase. I was told that my sensor was not covered under warranty; I asked why not...no answer, so instead of fixing the bumper as previously talked about, they can only fix the sensor because it cost 1500.00. Ray Skillman stated in a text message that although my bumper should be replaced it just wasnt feasible because the bumper is 1500 to replace, and sensor cost the same so instead they wanted me to be safe which they thought was the better of the two problems. I called the Hyundai factory and they informed me that a BSD or blind spot detector is covered under warranty unless somehow the vehicle had been wrecked? I questioned the dealership about the sensor not being covered under warranty and miraculously they told me they would fix the sensor and put on a new bumper. After feeling a sigh of relief that finally someone is treating me like a customer should be treated (offering help and resolution), I get my car back after a week with more things wrong with it than when I left it with them in the first place (is that a fix or just blatantβ¦I donβt care). I was supposed to get a new bumper and it be painted professionally, what I got back was a bumper had been painted on my vehicle, misaligned, half painted out in a parking lot, with broken trim in my trunk, reflectors painted on, trunk seals with over spray, back driver side window not working anymore, dual exhaust out of alignment, battery unbolted in trunk, computer board unbolted in trunk, paint stuck to trunk lid that pulled off the bumper because it was still tacky and a Manager from Ray Skillman telling me to not wash it for two days let the sun bake it. I pointed out all the things wrong mentioned above and I was told by Mr. C ( I will leave names out to be professional) what more do you want from us? I am an RN whom took the word of mouth from one Skillman family member years ago to come buy are cars we treat people the way they should be treated, my own family referrals to go here, a past employee, and multiple co-workers. Everyone bragged on how awesome Ray Skillman is and how well they treat their customers. I am highly disappointed and will continue the rest of my concerns in another review.
We first purchased from Ray Skillman in 2014 when we purchased our first Mitsubishi. When we decided we were ready for a new car, we returned. We had our vehicle serviced a week ago and were looking around the showroom and were greeted by David Brown. He was not pushy and accepted we did not have time that day to test drive. We returned yesterday and asked to speak with David. He was very helpful in making sure we got what we needed and wanted. I would have no problem recommending this dealership and David to anyone who is in the market to purchase a new vehicle.Awesome service from everyone who works there.
Dont count on call backs from Aaron.had issue and he just ignored it and never even called me back after he said he would
Dakota is an AWSOME sales guy! VERY helpful!!

Great people and fast service
Husband and I bought a car there off rip had recall and issues so I know there was no all point inspection DUE to needing oil change within a day of having it plus was told its was RT had RT all over it and everything but BMV said vin was pulling up SE. RAN CAR FAX on it and sure enough vin was pulling up a fleet car and not an RT. When covid hit had issues with payment due to loss of income was told would work with me and soon as i brought up all the issues with vin and all and made payment they came and snatched it messing my parents driveway up and they did it from back in park and its front wheel drive... Bobby sales manager told lie after lie to my face and even stated the car was up for repo in March which is when i told them about the vin not matching what they car is and carfax either and they allowed me to make payment in May which they shouldnt of. Plus reported that i had 2 days to get belongs bc was going to auction that same week they snatched it and now been leaving messages for GM to call me about all issues and look at all my paper work ect... Its been over a month no call back now reporting to BBB, ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND CONTACTING LAWYERS. BEFORE U EVER CONSIDER BUYING FROM THE USED CAR DO THE BBB REVIEW RAY SKILLMANS IS HORRIBLE.
Getting oil changed now! Good people, good service!
Ray Skillman AKA Shakes the Clown with his post apocalyptic vision of selling cars during the Covid19 pandemic offered my parents more money than they paid for their 2018 Ford SUV as long as they were buying a new vehicle ...If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck well it must be Shakes the Clown π€‘ looking to sell a new vehicle no mater what !BLA ha haTime to downsize Shaky ...
Great service
