Bought a brand new tire on 10/5/21, that I had to have at that time. Because the old tire was too bad to drive on. But no warranty offered on the $200.00 +tire because it is a GM tire, they just sell it. Now that tire is leaking and to top it all off they didnt program my tires sensors correctly. Which I found out when I had to put air in the leaky tire. I also, purchased the car there too a year and seven months ago. Unbelievable!!!
I love this place, I just feel like It would be either a 5 star experience or a 10 out of 10 experience if the labor costs were slightly more reasonably fit to their reality - this is based on how long repairs may take some times. Overall great communication skills from Amanda as the communication between the mechanic / customer experience. :D
The people here are really quite rude the customer service isnt very good when it comes to repairing your vehicles. The lady lied to us, the men on the phone are condescending if your female and they wont call you back. They also will eat their lunch in your car and change your radio station. Just saying, at least try to to be nice to your customers.
Ian was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, from our first time coming in he stayed engaged and was a resource for us to use even though we made it clear we werent ready to purchase, because we wanted to do more research. Once we decided to purchase and came in to finalize things, on a vehicle in transit sight unseen, the entire staff was friendly. Chris, from the finance team, was friendly and explained all of our options and terms along with benefits from the dealership. Great team!
I dropped my car off on Tuesdays morning for an oil change and it still wasnt done by the end of the day. So I brought it back on Friday first thing in the morning again and was told I could be dropped off to work and when I got there I had to find a ride cuz they couldnt give me one. I had to call them around noon and tell them I needed my car to even get it done. This is the only car I have and I know there is no reason it should have ever taken this long for an oil change and the excuses ever time didnt help
I was driving down the interstate several hours from home and realized there was something wrong with my truck. I took the next exit and saw this car lot praying their service department was open! I pulled into the lot and spoke with an two salesmen who were more than happy to help and told me to pull around and theyd get me taken care of. I pulled around and was instantly greeted by an amazing lady! Although extremely busy, Her and the shop tech were both wonderful and SO helpful!! They made sure to show me the issue and made sure my truck was safe to drive before I left their lot!! I hate that I didnt catch their names because they definitely need recognized! Thanks again!!
This is my first bad experience. My driver side floor mates were left with oil boot prints matted deep into the fiber that I can’t get out. I’m sure the dealer won’t replace my mat. I remember you use to put a paper mat down to prevent that.It took over 4hrs for oil change, tire rotation and to replace two bulbs. I wasn’t informed that they had to pick up the bulbs from a far away location.The service lady was outstanding and very nice. She explained to me what was going on when she found out. She deserves a raise for her people skills.
Horrible. High pressure sales tactics. Once they get you into the dealership for the so-called 24-hour test drive its like being held hostage. Everything was hold on a minute let us check this for a minute. I was there at least 3 hours. They even got me a quote on insurance without my permission. They said they would run my credit once however they ran it at least 10 times. If you want to be lied to and badgered this is your spot. The great reviews sounds fake to me. One of their own sales persons even made a review. LOL. I was approved however I would not buy a car from them if it were $1.
No Morals or decency in regards to helping honest people with car needs, make promises they can’t keep and only care for the commission of a sale! Avoid Zip and do not mention any mental conditions they can prey upon like a head injury or a personality trait to exploit, forced anxiety creates easy manipulation on the right mind! Shame
Sales team was on spot very knowledgeable and friendly, Finance not so much, I was lead tobelieve that leasing was a better financial decision over purchasing. That wasnt the case.Pablo was great and I would by another car from him in the future, but I will finance somewhere else.

Zip also helped me in 2018 with my Buick Encore and I was so impressed with him I requested his help again. I have only had great experiences at Skillman. I am a repeat customer.
I liked coming to this dealership because its so close to home, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I scheduled an appointment to get my AC fixed in my vehicle and dropped it off when told to do so. After waiting several hours, I had to call to find out the status of my car. I was then told that they didnt have a technician in to fix it. What was the point of my scheduling an appointment? Joe, service manager (?), did call going forward to update me on the vehicle. I was offered no courtesy car (thank goodness I had transportation to go to work) and offered no discount for my inconvenience. I wont bring my car back here for anything other than an oil change and thats a maybe.
They did a great job but, didnt have the battery for my terrain2017.So they had to go get it. Got there at 8am left 1pm.
Ive got 4 cars from them and every time it seems to get worse... They will do whatever it takes to close the deal even lie then youll become nonexistent......but Jay in service is the best and stand on his word

My Girlfriend had purchased her car from here, so the oil change service was no charge. They topped off the fluids, rotated the tires, and did a break pad check all included with the service. Plus they keyed a blank she brought in as a spare...again no charge. This blew me away! Shes already mentioned shell buy her next car from here. I forgot to mention they completed the job same day. Appt was for an oil change, but other services were recommended for proper upkeep of vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered a shuttle ride to my home as opposed to waiting at the dealership. Jason Parker always provide quality, quick, professional 5 star experiences!

I had an appointment for Oil change and tire rotation at 10am. Left vehicle and expected a call when it was ready. At 4:30 pm had to call dealership and ask about status of vehicle. Didnt get an answer and was told someone would call back in a few minutes. 30 minutes later got a call saying it would be done in 20 minutes. 1 hour later it was finished. Waited until 6pm to get Vehicle back. Not the best customer experience.

Horrible service department. And the service manager shouldn’t even be managing a fruit stand. Brought my vehicle in numerous times for same issue and they can’t duplicate. Which translates to I don’t know since the same problem duplicated in their parking lot when picking it up. The service here sucks and GM is losing a tenured customer because of the SKILLMAN group Congrats GM just get some more government money since you can’t keep customers with a service department like this. The GM is so great he won’t answer his phone👍

Tyler got caught in the cross hairs, about the tint on the windows, but handled it with ease and professionalism. Im still unsure about the financing, I dont see the discounts I was to get, it appears I paid full price. I was promised the tint was free and its added in the price. so the financing is my only concern

My check engine light had came on but by the time I arrived for my appointment it was off. The service department staff was very attentive and listened to my concerns. Jason always does an excellent job with explaining all that is wrong and what needs to happen for the repairs to be completed properly. As a woman some places try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge. I never felt that way in service at Ray Skillman. Thank you for your quick, professional service. Awesome job service team!

I went to Ray Skillman on Washington St. In Indianapolis for my oil change. The service manager ask my if I had my lock key to my tires to do a tire rotation. Then he informed me that the guy that was working on my car had already been through my car looking for it. I go look and its not there. Now they want to charged me $160 to take my tires off. I dont think so. Headquarters will be hearing about this one.

I had a most unfortunate experience with your dealership, my SUV would not start, so I had it towed to the dealership on June11,2021 after a few days I checked to see what the problem was, and was told it was the ECM and that they didnt have the part, but they would seek to locate the part.Having not received any call after a few days, I called again, only to be told the same thing, but they did tell me it would cost $ 965.00. I had to initiate all the calls, After several weeks went by, I enquired what the part number was, and my daughter contacted several business places which said that after 5yrs that part was not manufactured, only a refurnished part could be obtained, Why was I not informed of this information ? The dealership had to know that, seeing that GM Motors has been the largest automotive industry worldwide. I was lead to believe that the part could be located or even made, which later I was told that part was not being made. When I asked the service person {Jay} why didnt they attempt to locate a refurbished part, I was told they cannot locate parts from outside vendors, only GM dealers. How can you service your customers, if GM does not make the part. and they cannot seek the part from other vendors ? Its unknown how long my vehicle would yet be sitting there; yet they relentlessly sent me letters and called me about trading up my 2011 Acadia Denali due to the high demand for used Acadia Denali 2011 models, Had I traded my car, Im sure they would have found the part, and resold the SUV for much profit. After we obtained the part number, within 5min. or so, we located a refurbished ECM could they not have done the same ? MY SUV is the only transportation I have, I had to miss some Church meetings, had to ask rides even to the store, most inconvenient. I had been told that the dealership had from 18 - 20 loaners, but all were given out. My insurance, State Farm insurance does not cover mechanical repairs, with a rental, only claims that are made. I have been so indisposed, and feel I was not informed that the ECM was not longer being made, and it was not known when a part could be found. My SUV sat there from June 11, 2021 until I had it towed on July 2, 2021 seemingly no effort was being made to service my vehicle, so, no I would not recommend your dealership, for I did not receive any service there, only a diagnostic on what the problem was, if that is correct ! Not even the common courtesy of keeping me current on any progress being made, because there was none. To think a worldwide company as GMC would be so indifferent, when your customers make you a company ! No service was done to my SUV on July 2, or any other time apart from diagnosing the problem, I called several times to speak with Mr. Ray Skillman, to no avail, perhaps he was out of town. I am very disappointed with the lack of real customer service. Service was deplete in my experience !

Frank did an outstanding job on selling us the 2021 GMC Terrain. We were in and out in 2 hours. The other salesman who showed us the Pickup truck turn us off completely. We did understand it was busy and the carwash area was broken. But to present a dirty truck to was unprofessional. We understand the outside of the truck dirty. Once we opened the doors mud and dirty everywhere. No one took the time to clean the inside. Its like a perfect cook steak serve up on a garbage can lid. I had an appointment at 3:30pm and no one told me about staffing issues until 5:20 pm. I was eventually taken care of with assistance from Joe. But the initial advisor never told me about the issues or addressed me in any way, I dont remember his name but he was an older white male with gray hair and gray hair on his face. I eventually left the shop after 6:00pm.

I have a 2017 Buick Enclave Premium with less than 36,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on and my remote start stopped working, so at 8:59 AM on a Wednesday, I scheduled an online appointment for the following Saturday at 8:20 AM. I received a confirmation text immediately upon scheduling. The day before my appointment, Friday, at 8:35 AM, I received another text reminding me of my appointment. The next day, I arrived on time for my appointment, only to have the service department tell me (1) “we don’t actually have appointments on Saturday; (2) even if we did, we don’t have a tech here that can do a diagnostic; (3) you could leave it here if you’d like but there are 15 people ahead of you, so it will be Monday before we could look at it.” When I voiced my displeasure, I was told “the computer did it.” Here’s the kicker...THEY NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO TAKE MY NAME OR CHECK THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM. It was just “you can leave it until Monday, or you can just leave.” They didn’t offer a loaner. They didn’t do a damned thing to try to address the problem! All they did was blame the IT department. They actually said “we can’t help the computer.” REALLY?!! Everyone knows that dealer service departments are where dealerships really make money. So you’re telling me that as massive as Ray Skillman Auto Group is, they can’t afford to fix “the computer.” Needless to say I was cursing by the time I left, and I’m not the least bit sorry for it!!

Everything was great all the way to the signing of the table but once I received my truck the extra work that was done by ziebart someone scraped the work they did so now I got a smear on my passenger door Ive got the wrong running boards placed on my truck the rain guards for my windows were wrong I even bought the right parts and they told me that my stuff was junk and put something totally different on my truck now where did they do that at when you pay cash outright

My family has been doing business with Mr. Skillman for eight years now. I also happen to be a Motorsports, and Collision Repair Technician. I wouldnt buy a vehicle from anywhere else.Mr. Skillman, and his son saved me from a wreck back in 2007. Id just moved back to Indy, and this was before taking any formal automotive college courses. I learned to drive on I4 in Florida. My Ford Focus ZX3 had track slicks, and I learned very quickly you cant rock those in the snow. 360° later, I was stuck on the I70-I465 interchange. Mr. Skillman drove my car home for me that day. Ill never forget that.

We love the service department, we drive past several other GM dealers to get to Ray Skillman Northeast. They work very hard to help with any requests that we have and do what they say they are going to do. Also there is never any pressure to try and upsell us on products or services, however I trust what Jason tells me needs done. Would definitely recommend!
Gunter or whatever his name was is the most unprofessional salesperson at this dealership. Hes rude, disrespectful, and a sorry excuse of a human. How do you wait until Im alone and start harassing me to buy a car after I told him several times that I wanted to go? He not only was hounding me and laughing at the fact that I wanted to think things over but he also sent a few people afterward to try to force me to buy something that I wasnt sure about doing. How many families have they done this to? Theyre lucky that we were even considering buying a car during these times. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I will also be reaching out to the BBB as well!

The service center will do things to your vehicle and charge you to fix it. Or they will totally make up services that they say you need and charge you hundreds of dollars to fix nothing. I dealt with both Jason and Robin on separate occasions and they both tried these tactics. Do not trust them with your vehicle.

Bought vehicle from dealership approximately 3 months ago. Car would start, returned to dealership replaced battery, turned car off wouldnt start, returned to dealershipDealership had my vehicle for 3 weeks, got car back yesterday 2/17 charged 100+ deductible problem should have been fixed before selling car. Why wasnt everything diagnostic test before selling at the dealership? The dealership sucks.

We purchased a very nice vehicle for my daughter here(used). Turns out they didnt have the right paperwork and took longer to acquire such to provide the necessary documents to register/plate the vehicle. The temp plate expired and they would not provide another temp plate in the meantime. This is problematic when predatory tow companies hunt for this in neighborhoods. The vehicle also did not have fresh fluids and the tires had poor seals requiring remounts a few days after purchases, no big deal just watch for these things especially when buying used.Overall happy with the vehicle...but a few details were missed.

I had trouble with my car after purchasing it. So i called the dealership to see if they could fix it. They surprise me and gave my a loaner truck while they fix my car. When my car was done i wasnt able to get off work in time to pick up my car. Mr. Keith in the Buy here Pay here brought my car to me. Thats what you call 100% satisfy customer.
U can never get ahold of anyone or actually talk to anyone they are more worried about getting new customers than keeping and taking care of there past customers.Told the guy who done the final deal the car was a trade in for the car I wanted we did not have cash to put down they said they could make it work without down payment.A month later they refuse to give a paper plate unless I pay 500 down place is a joke go elsewhere.They just push you through the deal to make there money I will tell everyone I know to stay away go somewhere better.

I just bought a 2016 Dodge ram 1500 from the east Washington street location. I do not recommend it. The truck was dirty (they gave me a car wash ticket), the battery was complete trash had to be jump started, (they did nothing to fix the situation) the tailgate was damaged to the point that it wouldnt even open. When I discovered it, it was too late and I was home with the truck. When I enquired about having it fixed they referred me to pick a partFor a vehicle I gave over $23,000 for.... I dont want a pick a part referral. Dont even get me started on their loan process, they dont even try to get you a good loan offer, they take the first HIGH INTEREST loan they can locate.I wont be returning for another vehicle here but they arent interested in you returning, they want your money now and to hell with you later.BUYERS Beware!
