Trustworthy no-nonsense auto repair shop with great personality and fair prices.I’ve had work done on two different cars here on multiple occasions and I’ve never had a bad experience. I always feel like he’s doing everything he can to save me money. For example, I had an issue with my exhaust system once and rather than replace the whole component and just pass the cost along to me, he repaired the part of it that was broken and saved me a ton of money.Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you, this guy is friendly and honest, the labor rate is standard for auto repair, and if you’re at all unsure about what’s going on, he’ll answer whatever questions you have.

Amazing Service! I called for a walk in appointment and they had my car on the lift 15 mins later. Excellent work, great customer service and affordable! This was my first visit to their shop but I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

I enjoyed talking with Steve while I waited for my car to be checked out and oil changed. He seemed to read me and to want to cheer me from my sadness. It helped. I loved the dancing Frankenstein! Steve told me about martial arts and how it is to be an alien. I could relate!Because I also felt that I had been charged a little too much for services that with other mechanics cost less at the time I went, I will probably be looking for a different mechanic. But my car is still running, thanks in part to this shop!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO A OK CAR CARE. My first experience started when I took my car in for a simple tune-up. Since taking my vehicle to this rip off business, Ive had more problems with my car. The OWNER talks about how much money he has but keep in mind he only has 1 or 2 teeth in his whole mouth. Also he just keep flirting with me instead of trying to make sure my car was right. Actually watch out because they will act like theyre fixing your car in their shop but they take it to another shop. Plus my car started making noises and Im not sure what he did but it was more than just a tune-up. Please beware because the owner is such a rip off. My next plan is to turn him into the Attorney General and the FBI. My family member works with the Federal Bureau of Investigations and this business has been flagged. Im going to ensure every car this man works on is investigated. Also another crazy thing is if you call the business if he recognizes your number he will not answer your call. If you call there period and hang up he will call you right back because hes desperate for business. PLEASE remember these people RIP PEOPLE OFF AND will charge a huge price for work he never performed. My bill was suppose to be the special which is a $59 tune up. He places a real estate sign out front during the week and thats just to draw you in the business. After I kept having to take my car back the bill ended up being over $1000.00 . I took the car to a Dealership and they wrote me a report to state the work performed by A OK Car Care was never performed. My next visit is to the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, FBI, FOX59 and everyone else to help stop them from RIPPING CONSUMERS OFF.

Pro- replaced my muffler within hours. The owner even drove me home because it was too hot to walk.con- a bit expensive and only takes cash.

EX COP TURNED CROOK! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS CON LADIES! He refused to break down my charges and REFUSED to write them on my receipt. Charged me $325 to repair a power steering pump that costed $39.00 on a 98 Saturn. I ask how much it would be and he says OH I DONT GIVE A PRICE UNTIL I LOOK AT IT. But AFTER he fixed my car he says WELL ITS $70 AN HOUR FOR LABOR. When I ask why he didnt tell me that when I ask the first time he says I DIDNT FEEL LIKE I HAD TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH I CHARGE FOR LABOR. Than started yelling in my face when I demanded a more detailed break down of the charges. Ill be reporting him to BBB and IRS because he is scamming the system by only taking cash and than wont write the charges in your receipt. Smiles in your face and stabbs you in the back. Told me he wouldnt cheat me with a smile. Hell get what he deserves and Ill make sure of it. I gave 1 star ONLY because I had to. *EDIT* Picked up my car after 5pm and at 8:30pm ALL THE POWER STEERING FLUID HAS LEAKED OUT. smdh

Single worst car care place I have ever went to. Overpriced brakes and roaters. Deals only in cash without and itemized receipt. Later I had a rattle that I thought was the suspension but a Ford engineer stated that parts were missing from the brake calipers and that was what was rattling. Oil pan cover was also dragging and missing screws. I called the owner of the place and he became extremely rude immediately after I told him what was found.

Dont ever go there i put my car in his show an asked him the owner Steve to check my car an he charge me 650 dollars an soon as i pulled off his lot my car would not go pass 40 he dont care about his customers an take advantage of women!!!!!!!!

Good honest repair work at very reasonable pricing .

$800 for a fuel pump in a new to me, used truck. Steve put a toggle switch into the dash without ever letting me know about it. This was my new fuel on/off switch that had to be flipped on before starting and shutoff after parking. 2 days later engine hydro-locks (gas in cylinders, bent rods, etc.). Ford mechanic looked and said the wrong fuel pump was probably put in! ID TRUST A KID AT THE SHELL SERVICE STATION BEFORE OL STEVEY AND HIS BACK ALLEY HENCHMEN. DONT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY! FLUSH IT DOWN THE TOILET INSTEAD!

Overcharged and the part he replaced was probably used as it broke again in about 3 months. Another car place replaced the same part for $200 less, OAK claimed they were the cheapest.

Took my truck there for a lighting issue and then after well over $100 later was rushed over on a Saturday to pick it up because it had to be out of there. Well a couple weeks later on a trip to Chicago same thing happens and when I call he says cant remember what he did and I need to bring it back. Hard to do when I have to work and drive at night to get home ....bunch of clowns

Too expensive for what you get, deals only in cash, you can have a better experience for less money elsewhere.

Took me car to get a transmission kit put on my s 80 the next day it was gusing out fluid took it back they fixed it 3 months later as of today had the same problem that i paid to fix it 165 dollars gone 😢
