We were waited on quickly. The freezer we originally wanted wasn’t available in our area but Bruce immediately offered a second option. Bruce was very helpful and explained our options. Delivery would be within two weeks. We purchased the freezer!! Great shopping experience with Grand Appliance.

First time in store today when needed a new fridge. Thought i would have to wait 2 weeks for delivery but they had a floor model for sale. Service was awesome. The associate was caring and took time to not only clean the fridge before wrapping it, but gave recommendations on techniques to use. It was A+ service and will return in the future.
Best customer service I have ever received!! Bruce was very helpful without being pushy. When i showed him a picture of where i was putting the washer and dryer he even suggested to change the way the door opens to make it easier to load dryer.
Went in looking for a good dishwasher the salesperson Mike was very helpful. I ended up walking through their clearance section and found an outstanding buy.. Listed as a scratch and dent I saved right at $348.00 and I really cant see the scratches. Mike was outgoing and answered all of my questions. He even polished it up, it looks amazing. Cant say enough about Grand Appliance and TV. I will be back for future purchases.

Visited Grands after a nightmare experience trying to get appliances delivered by a big box store. Loved the great customer service, product selection and pricing at Grands (all 3 beat the other store). I will definitely be back whenever I have future appliance needs!
Store is clean and they have a good selection. The knowledge base of the staff is lacking. When you go to a store for expertise and ask specifics about build quality and specifications of brands and model differences etc you expect them to have the knowledge or on hand resources to get it. I am not unreasonable enough to say they should know everything about each item but if your going to be a specific store for a specific set of items then have the knowledge and information specific to your business or at the least have consistent resources for the staff to provide you with information that is consistent for each item.I did buy from them on my fourth trip to the store but three sales people all of which were at best half knowledgeable on what they had and why were inconsistent in their information and details.
I went to Grand Appliance nearGreenwood to buy a new dishwasher. I had looked on their website to determine what I was interested in before going there. They had the model & color I wanted in stock.. I am familiar with the business name since I’m originally from NE Illinois. This was my first visit to this store. They do have a variety of other appliances & items. I got helped right away. They have their own delivery people so that should go a lot smoother than my experience at other stores.

We went home to discuss the info and returned after the holiday weekend to make our purchase. We had great service and were impressed that they do their own instillations. A friend of mine told me to check out grand appliances. I was looking for a new refrigerator. Walked in and was greeted by a salesperson, Mike Wilson. Mr. Wilsin asked us what we were looking for it and I told him a French door refrigerator and I gave him my price range. He took me back to where the refrigerators were, the ones in my price range, and showed us the refrigerators. I found the one I wanted and he suggested that we should go back and measure the refrigerator. Which we did. He also advised me that they had a sale coming on Thursday so I waited and check back with him but unfortunately the fridge that I wasn’t it wasn’t on sale. So, I went ahead and he did the paperwork and we signed all the papers and stuff and I now in the proud owner of a Frigidaire French door refrigerator! I want to thank Mike for all his help.

I was referred by several different people and I’m glad I took their advice. The store has a lot of options to choose from and the sales staff is incredibly helpful. I wasn’t sure exactly what brand of washer/dryer I wanted, but the store manager gave me a lot of very helpful information that made the decision very easy. They also do all of their own delivery and installs (they don’t outsource to a third party) which was a huge selling point for me. I’ll definitely be using them for all future appliance purchases.
Grand Appliance really came through for us. We werent able to get the appliances in that we originally ordered due to several delays, they were able to get everything ordered for us and we are receiving them in a timely manner so we can now close on our house. We cant thank them enough.

Paid top dollar for a refrigerator. It was a floor model....was suppose to be given a discount or repair for issues. Months later we still have had no resolution. Left multiple phone calls....voicemails....and no returns. Customer service leaves alot to be desired. Meanwhile we have a fridge that definitely doesnt look like the new one we paid for.

We have been to 3 other places to buy appliances. Between delays from the manufacturer and high demand, we werent going to be able to even order appliances until we were already in our new house. Mike Wilson in Greenwood was amazing! He was VERY knowledgeable, super personable, and extremely helpful. We found everything we needed and wanted, got some great additional information, and were able to get everything delivered right after we close. My husband works in home construction and has already said he will be directing people to Mike and Grand Appliance from now on. Also, they have some great rebates and deals. Buyer beware. Took ‘delivery’ of our range on Monday. The delivery guys were excellent, polite and professional.The Service Management and Procedures are terrible.they delivered our Range on Monday but did not have a necessary part on them. They had to run back and get it and we were to move the plug in the back wall while they were gone.When we texted the delivery guy that we were ready, he told us we had to go BACK to our sales guy to schedule delivery….hmmm.Okay, I call the Southside store, my sales guy was out. I explained to the Sales guy that answered the phone that the guy with the missing part just needed to come back out and finish the install. He said he’d send an email to our Sales guy. I asked if HE COULD TAKE CARE OF IT so we did not have to wait on our sales guy to be back in the office.Apparently that wasn’t okay so 2 days later our Sales guy calls and says he can’t just send the guy back out…we have to be back at the end of the line just to get the piece THEY DIDN”T HAVE when they came the first time to install our range.LATE Thursday I get an email with no apology and no ‘thank you for your patience’ that deliver is Tuesday August 31…. 9 days after they delivered my range that sits unusable in the kitchen.Call the Store and click the Corporate office prompt and the line disconnects. Call the Service line and it puts you on hold until it finally forces you into voicemail. Call the Corporate 888 line and the same thing happens.Terrible service. Don’t buy your appliances there because the sales people only care up until they’re paid, the Service department doesn’t send their people out with ALL THE PARTS needed for installation and you can’t reach anyone for assistance.
After the purchase of a JennAir glass top range at Grand Appliance, I have encountered a few issues, beginning with an automated message left on my phone stating that the range would be delivered the next day, that caused great concern as I wasnt expecting delivery for several weeks so wasnt prepared to accept a random delivery date with only a 24-hour notice. It took multiple attempts to reach someone who then told me I had selected this date (which I did not) and he stated it was going to be a major inconvenience to reschedule at the last minute. After explaining I had not picked this random date he finally apologized and rescheduled the delivery.On the agreed upon scheduled delivery date, the crew removed my old stove, loaded it onto the delivery truck and brought in the new unboxed stove with the oven racks and a heavy box sitting on the unprotected glass stove top. They didn’t install the stove because Grand Appliance suggested I hire a contractor they had recommended. It was placed in the kitchen, and the delivery crew then left the house. I went to inspect the stove and immediately saw the glass top was shattered. I caught the delivery crew as they were getting ready to pull away. The delivery crew indicated they had no way of knowing the boxed stove was damaged prior to delivery. Why would the delivery person have not seen the stove was damaged at the time it was unboxed, as he had placed the oven racks and a heavy box on top of it before he brought it into my home and left it? The crew then took the broken stove out of the house and loaded it on the truck, indicating our salesman would contact us about the delivery of another stove and we should ask about getting a temporary stove until the model we bought becomes available again. It wasn’t until after the crew left, I stepped barefoot onto tiny glass shards on my floors. Days went by without anyone at Grand Appliance contacting us so we called our salesman who was out for the next 2 days. We were told he was who we needed to talk to. 5 days after the delivery debacle we had to call again because no one at Grand Appliance had yet contacted us. The salesman did not know when another stove would be available, but he stated he would check. The following day he told us another stove had been located but it would be another week before it could be delivered. We had planned on being without an installed stove 2 days, not 2 weeks. The salesman didn’t offer us a temporary stove or compensation so we talked to the manager who only offered a small refund of the delivery fee.We have made 1 other major purchase at Grand and was satisfied so we didn’t hesitate shopping with them again. Unfortunately, I doubt we return unless this issue can be resolved, at which time I will be happy to change this 1-star rating to 5-stars.UPDATE 1: After talking with Customer Service I was prepared to update my negative comments to a favorable review. However, my replacement stove was delivered with a broken glass top. Thats 2 stoves delivered with broken glass tops UNBELIEVABLE! Come on Grand I thought you were better than this.UPDATE 2: A 3rd stove has been been delivered damaged. Thats 3 for 3 damaged. Unfortunately for us Grand seems to have a monopoly on the type of JennAir range we need. We have not had a stove in weeks since Grand took our old stove. We are devastated and frustrated by the lack of empathy & customer service weve received.UPDATE 3: Best Buy delivered a new stove 3 weeks ahead of schedule and they treated us as valued customers. Grand should learn from Best Buy how to deliver a quality product & how to treat customers with respect.

My wife and I purchased an appliance suite from another store and decided to stop in Grand Appliance just to see what they have to offer. Long story short, we returned our original order and purchased all four items from Grand. We enjoyed the sales person- knowledgeable about the products and not pushy. He was super polite and let us ask a bunch of questions and allowed my wife and I time to discuss in private. We loved the rebate offers as well. (We purchased during Black Friday.) It was our first experience in Grand Appliance and I would safely say it wont be our last.

We have been looking for a stove for about a month, my husband is particular about the brand and what it has on it. Bruce at Grand was very patient with us and asked the brands we prefer, he told us from the beginning the 2 top brands we wanted were very hard to get, but suggested another brand of which he had in stock. He said delivery wouldnt be for a week, but that was okay, because we just wanted the stove. Bruse was very friendly and understanding.

There was a time that I would have given Grand Appliance 5 stars. I dont know what has happened. We ordered a cooktop and needed them to come out to measure to be sure it would fit. We were told that they would be able to take out the old one in order to get a more accurate measurement. The team that came couldnt take out the old one. They also requested a tape measure that might be better than what they brought. We decided against purchasing that cooktop after all. We were refunded the money for purchase. We were told they would refund the installation cost. They have not. I am forgiving, and wasnt going to gripe. I mean, they did come out. They didnt do anything, but they did bring 2 people and a box truck. However, we also purchased a microwave less than a year ago. It has already failed. We called the store and they said the customer service department would get back with us regarding the microwave. They said they might simply replace it, but they may want to try and repair it.We have not heard back from them.Their sales staff is awesome! Sadly, the service department is the reason for my 2 star rating.

We were looking for a gas range. Been to other places and were not satisfied with what we were wanting and not going to order without looking at the range.. We went to Grand Appliance and they had the range in stock and was cheaper than the other places. We was looking at the range when the sale rep. Mike Wilson came up and asked if we had any questions. We asked a few questions and then ask if they had in stock besides the floor model. Mike checked and said he did and could deliver on Thursday or Saturday. So delivery is set for Saturday.There was no pressure to buy. We will go back when needed.

Chris, my salesman was outstanding. Even though availability is difficult because of Covid-19, he was still able to get the exact refrigerator with the features I wanted. The deliver crew (Pete & Kieth) were five star performers for sure. They had to take the doors of the refrigerator and delivered it to the second floor. To do that they also had to deal with two 90 degree turns. One of which required lifting the full weight of the unit to get it around the stairway turn. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!

I went to Grand Appliance after waiting for 20 minutes for someone to help me at Lowe’s. A friend recommended them and I’m glad she did. Bruce helped me and he was knowledgeable and helpful while choosing the group of appliances. The atmosphere was nice and quiet with music playing softly in the back ground.I will return to them again if and when I need more appliances and will definitely recommend them to my friends.
