My sister and I go up there quite often! We love to get their soup and crackers and sandwiches grilled cheese, they are absolutely delicious!! Love the place! Always return. Put the word out

Great little restaurant. The food was yummy and if you get Zach as your server he is a gem. Treat him well, he works really hard. My family will be back! Oh and the chocolate milkshake is awesome as is everything!

Great food and not bad service. Employees seem to not really care to much like when we asked for syrup for our 2 breakfast dishes and only gave us one thing of syrup. Not a huge deal but it would make sense to grab two things of syrup for 2 dishes. Otherwise the food tastes very good and the atmosphere is quite nice. Desert is good aswell especially the banana splits.

Food was great. Service was great. Management came and made sure I was okay. Unfortunately the stall I used had no to. I had to go to other stall. Im a larger woman and that stall was to narrow for me. When I turned around I caught my arm on door latch. It was a blood blister under skin. At this time the knot has finally broken up but area is still tender. But I have no complaints. Management was very concerned and they went right away to replace the tp. So no one else would have an issue.

Sunday mornings are always busy. I have no complaints about the service. Breakfast was tasty.

Love this place! Tons of great items on the menu. Pot roast as an open face sandwich. Patty melt. Chicken pecan sandwich. And breakfast all day. Our server Joe us fantastic. When asked if he had a suggestion, he said Dennys. 😂 Sweet potato fries with burbon Carmel sauce is sweet, but good. And make sure to try the Boom Boom sauce.

Went here because it was close to our destination which was Idlewild! All of the ice cream we got was amazing and it was very well priced definitely worth a stop if you are nearby and very friendly service

Best Valley dairy I have been to it is newer than the rest of them. The service is good and the food is good. If you like comfort food and family friendly than this is the place to go in Latrobe.My favorite thing to get there is the burgers and fries and of course the milkshakes are fantastic!

My girlfriend and I are from Derry Area Class of 1975, come here alot. The waitresss are very polite and they dont mind how long we stay drinking ice tea and coffee. And since we go so often we are remembered. The Soup and half sandwiches are our favorite. I recommend Valley Dairy to anyone visiting our Town.

Local radio station was interviewing them on making the banana splits. We actually drove 2 hours on motorcycles for dessert along with 2 other couples!

The irony of my review is that we went for dessert..particularly banana splits. Latrobe is the home of banana splits and we hoped to enjoy them. Lunch was quite good, and then we ordered dessert...banana splits with NO BANANAS! How is that possible? Ashamed as our visit was good until that point.

Everytime my wife and I go there it excellent from the food to the staff.

The food here is very good. This is not the Valley Dairy I remember when I was a kid. The menu is modern but still traditional diner food... comparable to Dennys and Eat N Park but I think it is more tasty and better priced. The staff is friendly and the restaurant had a nice selection of ice cream to take home!

Theres this woman who works there who treats my family like her family. Its always nice to go there to just have a nice meal. Everyone wears a mask and seating is spaced out.

This place is always good. With Corona, like other business, its slipping and we waited an hour for food but its not completely there fault so I did not take away stars. You dont need reservations and they try to get as many as allowed seated as soon as possible.

Definitely the best Take Out we have had in the recent weeks. We ordered the pretzel app w/cheese, two burgers and fries, and kids grilled cheese. Everything was excellent and our order was made correctly which is especially important for Take Out. It transported great as we picked it up in Latrobe and brought back to Ligonier. Thanks to Valley Dairy’s staff.

Everyone is always so friendly at Valley Dairy, our waitress was very nice. We quickly received our drinks and our food came out fast. I got breakfast and my guest got lunch. Everything was delicious. It was a lot of food. Will definitely be going back.

What is there to say. This is a place you can go and relax for a little while and get service like you’re at home. I’ve been to this particular location a few times and every waitress I’ve had has been cheerful and delight. On this visit I started with the cheese sticks and the pretzel rods. Let me caution you that if you order these, please handle them with care. When they came out they were fresh from the oven and required a fork to enjoy. If ordering the pretzel rods please try the beer cheese sauce. The subtle hint of beer with the cheddar play with the warm salty pretzels. Then deep-fried cheese with a side of marinara sauce, what more beyond yummy needs to be said. The meal was finished off with a mini banana split. This was the perfect size to finish the meal. My favorite part of a banana split is the pineapple. The refreshing fruit with the vanilla ice cream work to help cleanse the palate. I think the next time I stop I will be trying the cherry ice cream soda. I’ve seen this on the menu every time I’ve been here and have yet to sample it. So I look forward to my next trip here.

The service was outstanding and the food was excellent and everything was very clean the only problem that I had I ordered the macaroni and cheese and the portion was very small the other restaurants that I eat at give you about three times more quantity...

Stop in on March6, 2019 for a late breakfast while waiting on prescriptions. I was very pleased with the service and meal. I have never had over easy eggs that was not snotty in anyway. Everything was prepared perfectly. Including the Toast and sausage. I deducted 1 star because the tables was not cleaned properly some streaks and crumbs between the 2 tables.

A very good place for our lunch. Good service, flexible staff (they would do whatever it took) and quick service. The burgers we had were definitely enjoyed. Its certainly a better place to eat than a fast food joint.

Visited there recently and had a wonderful time. Prices are reasonable, service was good and the food was delicious! Would recommend for a bite to eat if in the area.

We eat breakfast here on a weekly basis and I sometimes stop for dinner. Great food. Puts you in mind of an old fashioned diner. The Wildcat Commons location has a friendly staff who now all know us!

Used to be great. LOVED the family charm and history. Closest thing to happy home cooked meals. Now its gone full on corporate and doesnt treat employees or customers as wrll as it once did. So sad to see it go downhill. :(

Food is delicious here. Service was a B++. What made the experience note worthy was the conversation I had with an older gentleman who was a local regular and told us some of the history of the area. I was grateful to be able to talk to him. Just a man who had lost his wife and son in the same year carrying on with his life and brightening others.

Nice wait staff. Clean enough. I ordered Western omelette with fruit. The omelette (and its contents) were over cooked.
