Ive been a few times. The layout is a little odd. They dont always have everything Im looking for, but it seems well maintained. I saw the GM saying bye to the associates. Not all GMs take time to acknowledge their employees. Respect goes a long way.

The staff is great, but there were so many empty shelves.

I always go to this store & location 4423 old Monroe and always have a pleasant experience I know the stuff, They recognize me through all this year’s coming to purchase groceries!Today June 25th 2021 at 7:20 pm after a long day of working, I come to the store so I can buy groceries so I can cook for my family, the usual; I first Go to a meat section, and I know what I want I always take the same stuff. Standing there waiting for a person to approach me, first she was minding her own business listening to the music and her headphones and not even pay attention that I’m standing waiting for her to assist me, then I ask her nicely; if any one at meat department can assist me?, she gives me an attitude telling me that she asked me three times if I need help,I was shocked!!!!Worst of all; she give me an attitude, Telling me if I wasn’t on the phone I would hear her talking but who talks like that???!I told her that I need to speak to her manager!The manager comes In, I was trying to explain the situation, She points at me with her finger like a disrespectful person.Ps. I hope HR department of food lion Will take this to consideration who is in charge for what department and how they treat customers!

The employees were very nice and helpful. The store was clean. The only thing I didnt like was there were some customers not wearing mask.

I guess the management team wanted to spice things up a bit cause they have this lady (Diane) by her name tag and she must absolutely hate being interrupted because this Karen esq woman looked around at me and snapped. Asked me if I was blind because she was in the middle of a conversation.Being mature and figuring she must be some seriously lonely lady, I just put my few things aside and walked away giggling at the audacity.That lady Diane should get that name tag changed to careless Karen.Good job on that one for whoever hired that one.

I typically have a great experience here. This time the cashier was rude was more interested in his conversation with the other employees than with any of the customers. He literally on said you amount is ... When I asked how he was doing his responds was Im fine your amount is ...

This large chain grocery store has just about everything. There prices are low. I know some dog owners who say this is the best-priced dog food around. This is a large store and it seems like a decent, well stocked, grocery store. While youre here, stop in at LaUnica Mexican Restaurant and at Dollar Tree across the street. Theres Busters Ice Cream too.

Clean, customer friendly enough, and lower prices. Fairly easy to find what you need, though choices are more limited than other brand grocery stores. I am usually in and out quickly.

They recently remodeled the store. Now its very open and clean. Very friendly, helpful staff. Big parking lot. Easy to see from the road. It can be a pain getting in/out of the parking lot when there is a lot of traffic. I believe they will also home deliver your groceries for a fee.

I like that theyre close and convenient. Some things are competitive in pricing, but it seems only store brand stuff is priced at reasonable rates.

I dont like this store at all!! I went about a week ago young guy didnt even bother to say hi he looked like he was upset. I go in today again, woman was nice in begging but when I asked to get $ back in 5s and 1s she looked like she got annoyed and threw my money at me. I rather not go here no more!

Its food lion what can I say. Looks like a Walmart not warm and inviting. No good prepared foods. Pretty much misses everything that a great store should be. Gave it 3 stars and the only reason we go is that they have a great selection of baby food that HT does not.

Its a good place to shop, they are out of stuff sometimes, shelves are not fronted right sometimes but other than that I prefer to shop here over dealing with the crowds of the Walmart nearby..

Always a great store for not only groceries, but also a great place for sending/recieving Western Union money orders, bill pay service, and their cash-back is better than (most/all) other stores in that you can ask for any amount $ (up to $200 I think debit cash-back) at the register not just $20 incraments like almost any other store.They also always have a bunch of B.O.G.O. Free & 2for $_.__ sales! And with ur MVP Card you dont even have to buy 2 to get the 2for $ price...They also usually have a cashpoints ATM in their parking lot, which has no surcharges on withdrawals from their Machine.All around great place for multiple needs!
