I found the perfect tile that I needed for a project, however they wouldn’t let me purchase it unless I bought an entire pallet of mis match tiles for 25.00 I only wanted the stack of one particular tiles and would have paid 20 dollars for them but they would not negotiate so I left without them.

Always have a variety of items to choose from. No matter what I seem to always find something that just cant live without! Nice friendly staff. Prices are usually fairly reasonable.

Omg. So much to be said about this place. I bought a really nice chair for the living room for $25. Book shelf for $15. Table and 4 chairs for $50. Very reasonable! They also have a free table! They help you out with your purchases and even let you come within 3 days I think it is if you dont have a truck right away.

I come here about once a month to look for items. I come to Blue Springs store way more often on a weekly basis. I found lots of bargains and Blue Springs Independence not so much but I like how big the story is and its interesting. Yesterday the staff was super nice and I did buy an item. But, it just didnt feel clean and with the covid thing just lifting I just kind of wish it was a cleaner store. I used the restroom Im really happy its open it too needed attention.

Good place to find materials for working around the house

This is a habitat for humanity restore. Anything from furniture, flooring, back splash, cabinets, doors,molding, to vases and chandelier.

I cant say enough good things about this place.The staff is always nice, prices are affordable.The place is clean and organized always.And when they get new stuff in they always take pictures of it all and post the pictures on their website.Also they are the only thrift store that will hold your items that you buy for 3 days.I have went to other thrift stores and they want you to take it when you buy it.And also Habitat puts a sold sticker on the item that you want to buy any other thrift store wont do it for you.I highly recommend Habitat For Humanity.

I found just what I was looking for. The staff was great and helped carry items to my truck. Pet the cat while your there super friendly.

They were better than the blue springs store. I asked blue springs store if they were open on sundays was told yes an drove from west independence to blue springs store they were closed. I called to let them know id be there in the afternoon to pick up what i had bought they said they have it ready. I waited almost two hrs still not ready. I ask to bortow acscrew driver so i could take my very large item apart so i didnt have to wait i was told just a min. 30 mins later no screw driver. Wed my son an i went back an took the item apart loaded an left. I probably wont be going back. The first day i was there a lady that wrked there helped me with a storm doir an flooring. Thats the last i seen her. She was great.

Recycle heaven, can occasionally find good items to reuse, great pro to environment.

One of the best Re-Stores in the city when it comes to home improvement supplies. Great selection of electrical, windows, fixtures, and molding. Definitely visit this place first if youre a homeowner thinking of remodeling a room or two in your home.

NO one very helpful ...

Prices are way too high on many items.Many items are not complete with all parts (you will have more in to the item after replacing missing parts if you bought it new). They are selling broken items that arent fixable. Doors have holes in them and they only want $5-$10 less then new prices.

Need to have more people donate their gently used household items, furniture, plumbing, electrical, hand tools, yard tools. I like all the restores in the Kansas City, Independence, Blue Springs, Mo areas. Very nice volunteers and knowledgeable individuals.

Had a pick up scheduled for today. Was told afternoon and would be one of the last ones for pick up. I have people coming over to help me move the items to the driveway at 10 am. They decided to come at 8:50am.... They told me they could not move my items as they are not in the driveway and cant come back by today because they already have to many scheduled for pick ups....Update: called and left a message and was able to reschedule for today. Two very nice guys came and picked up my items.

Cool place to visit, if youre looking for something a bit unusual. Certainly not all orderly, and having everything neatly stacked, etc. But big box stores that are all tidy and perfect, have little chance of having the unusual, antique light fixture you want, either. Its not a big store, doesnt take lots of time to look around. But look thoroughly, its kinda easy to miss what youre hunting for. If you find it, buy it then. Probably will be gone, if you come back for it later.

Bought a roll of carpet for 60 bucks. It was rolled up and taped so I couldnt see what I was buying. It was not at all what I wanted. It was stained and filthy dirty. No returns...

If youre looking for something and cant find it, go here before you stop looking! They have so many things that are still good and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg to buy it either! We take a lot of things there that we no longer use, but is still really good for someone else.

Great hidden treasures can be found from time to time. Its always a fun store to nose around. Since its based on what people donate, sometimes you wont find what youre looking for but other times you hit jackpot. The prices were better the first couple years it was open, Ive noticed they seem to have gone up.

Love this place... It my favorite store out of all the habitats store locations I have visited threw out all the states on the east coast from Michigan to Florida. 10 stars bit un-able to do so... Their cost is lower than most habitat stores due to fact they actually run their store mostly on donations and dont depend on resales of new stuff to keep afloat! So keep THEM IN MIND WHEN DONATING MATERIAL, CABINETS, THAT OLD FURNACE THAT STILL WORKS, BATH TUBS, MOLDING, ANYTHING WORKABLE AND STILL IN GOOD SHAPE... ONE MANS TRASH IS ANOTHER MANS LIFE SAVER AT THIS STORE!!!

I have visited this store many times. I’m a frequent customer of multiple habitat restore locations around the metro. Of them, this is least friendly and least well organized. Save your time and visit one of the 4 or 5 other locations around KC.

Always enjoy visiting this store. They often have exactly what I need, even if I wasnt sure what I wanted! Found a great buy today on a grass catcher.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Theres a good selection of used furniture and other household fixtures. Obviously not all of them are in pristine condition, but the prices are all reasonable!

You can find some pretty good deals here2. But like any other thirft store timing is everything. This location isnt as organized nor as extensive as the blue springs location in my opinion tho and where its at sucks because its hard find but the staff is always friendly.

Can never visit; closed on Sundays and close early on Saturdays... 3:00 pm??

They called their self volunteers but we all know that they get some kind of a pay or else they would not be there! They receive free stuff and sell it at a high price - I feel at times I did get some good value products. One time I got chased away from the trash containers in a rudely Manor! They throw away useful stuff for some reason!

I am constantly in this store. Everyone has been helpful in moving items or carrying out my items. I love how its always something different in there. Its like a treasure find for me each and every time ( I like to refinish things and am a Pinterest fool) the prices are typically fair or really cheap. Every item i have ever purchased has held up in condition and wear and tear. I love this place and am grateful for the volunteers that help run it. I only wish they had a frequent shopper program

DO NOT donate to this organization. I tried to donate a door and they attempted to load the door into their truck and in turn caused damaged to my door. So the crew left the damaged door leaning up against my house.Thank you for damaging my door and removing any value that I had!!

This is a fun place to shop if youre looking for certain items always good to donate to Habitat for Humanity but this stores kind of dirty, Maybe somebody needs to donate their time and help these people clean it up.

Very affordable diamonds in the rough at this location. Decent selection on the cheap but you do have to look for them. Good cuatomer service.
