I went with the highest package for my hood but even still the price was lower than anywhere else. I went to this company over two months ago for a claims estimate. They lied to the insurance company about sending off my paperwork and swore I was never there! Josh took pictures of my car and swore he submitted everything. A month later the GM told the insurance company they had no record of me. They were extremely unprofessional and prejudice!

My hood kept popping open and water comes through the separation on the doors. They said they did some adjustments after keeping my truck for a week.Two weeks later still having trouble with hood staying shut and after washing my truck i see that water still comes through separation on door. Called Maaco and Josh wants to send me elsewhere. Waste of $580. Businesses dont take PRIDE in delivering QUALITY work anymore!

After someone decided to bury their hitch into my door, I decided to take it to maaco. Definitely one of the better decisions Ive made. They did a great job and the store manager (Chris) was super helpful, dealing with the insurance company.

Painted my tires and my black rims with silver paint takes a couple minutes to cover the tires

Went to pick up my truck after warranty work from poor job the first time, and was missing a cab corner and my antenna had been broken off.

I was in a hit and run accident and my bumper was half torn off and i really needed my car to get me to work. Their team here were beyond helpful and very accommodating with the circumstances right now. Very reasonably priced and have the nicest customer service. I would definitely go there again with any other issues I might have.

Repaired my door but broke my inner panel and didnt not supply a replacement and didnt give financial Compensation to fix the panel they broke.

They broke the handle off of my door and would not take responsibility.You cannot buy the door handle by itself. It is a $1,000 new door card.

Had my car for 3 weeks. Said they was detailing and when I picked it up was dirty inside and out. Left trash in my backseat.

I went in to get a quote and the guy at the desk acted disgusted that I even came in. But knowing I didnt have tons of money for repairs to my car I went ahead and brought my car to them a few months later oncee we got the money and again he was very unfriendly each time I dealt with him. They need to fire him and get someone a little more understanding about peoples situations. I know a little about cars but he treated mlike I was dumb. I will not be using them for repairs in the future.

Despite the unpleasant nature of having your personal vehicle damaged in a collision, Maaco made everything the most pleasant it possibly could have been. From their great communication to quickly repairing my car and being 100% honest and upfront about the entire process, I cant thank them enough. Chris is the store manager and deserves a raise! Excellent customer service and I could recommend them 100 times over with more recommendations to go.Great job!

I had a very good experience with the independence Maaco. I needed a quarter panel replaced and it looks great. They were honest and upfront with me about the cost and repair.

Truck was finished on time, customer service was good, and the overall paint job is good. There are some fish eyes in inconspicuous areas, and there was over spray on the rubber armrest - which I was luckily able to scrub off. The final price was in the range of the online estimate, but still seemed overpriced for the amount of defects. However, they did paint the rusted trailer hitch and exhaust tip, which I planned on anyways.

Too busy for 1 guy

I recently had a car reconditioned at this shop. I had a car previously repaired at this shop a few years ago as well . The recent experience was completely remarkable Travis completely communicated step by step through the whole process he sent photos and text as my car was being completed. The service I received from Travis and this Maaco shop is something I dont see in other shops the senserity,honesty and professionalism. The crew that is there now is the best. And I would recommend this shop and I have recommended this shop to all of my friends. There is no doubt I will take my next repair to this shop they have my confidence

I had a truck shell painted to match my truck. It look great. The manager was friendly and helpfull. They had it finished in less than a week.

I will recommend everyone I know to this place! I have been dealing with a lot because my car was vandalized and some explicit words were wrote across my hood and the side of car from a psychopath. Took my car here, got my estimate done and they took my car the same day! They had my car for about a week, but with what was done with it, I expected that. You cannot TELL AT ALL the words that were scratched into my car. My car looks brand new! I was so happy with the end result. I am forever grateful of the work this place did. If I need anything done like this again, I am coming back here no doubt in my mind!

My experience was not common. My vehicle was damaged on company property by a company vehicle, headlight got damaged when a tractor-trailer backed into my parked car. So the company bent over backwards to repair my car. But Maaco sent pics to the company insurance agent, pretty much took care of everything. It took a little longer than they first promised though. Because I took it in the Thursday before labor day weekend. But it was done the following week. Not bad work either. I was satisfied. Now if I had to deal my own insurance and try to get the repairs done I mightve had a different experience.

Please do not take your vehicle here! I took mine in June and i did all of the sanding myself. I have gotten my truck painted before and did the sanding and never had a problem. When I took my truck in I asked if they would wash it before painting it. They did not so when they painted my truck there was dirt under the paint that you could see! Now a few months later the paint is starting to chip from my hood! So save your money and take your vehicle somewhere else!

The customer experience with the new owner and manager was great! They were very kind and straight to the point, and understood my expectations. Since then I have had nothing but complements on my vehicle, would definitely recommend to anyone that needs fixed up.

Other shops would only replace. These guys did a flawless repair to our plastic bumper and it turned out great for about half the cost.

Previous management might have been horrible, but Tom Olin is definitely running a tight ship. If something gets put on your estimate, its getting done. Despite having access to my obviously hack jobbed car, the guys seemed quite concerned with satisfying me as a customer even going so far as to want me on site for installing the emblems.Now if you want your paint job to be perfect, youre going to have to go to a much fancier shop and pay more than twice as much. As for my daily driver, Im extremely pleased with the results and figure I got my moneys worth.

Just wanted to add my two cents in...you all are lucky to have this place reincarnated by Jared who I have had the pleasure to work with and know for as long as I can remember (since he bought the first shop over in Brookside-Waldo in KC). The guy does what he says and if aint so, he makes it right. Impeccable work and finish for a company unfairly known as second rate bodyworks. Believe me, hes no Earl Scheib & Company where the paint is as good as you might see for a week, then Oh Yeah...there lies the problem. These guys use PPG automotive paints and their bodywork gremlins work wonders with twisted metal.A year ago with one of my wrecks, a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Quad Cab with a rear quarter panel that looked like a Brahma Bull hit it broadside using it for bull practice as bulls do. Well to make a long story short, other shops said it had be replaced. When I presented it to Jared & Company, he said his best bodyman get make short work of it and hocus pocus make it look like they did slap a brand new panel on it. Needless to say, they saved me a small fortune of going the other route of the experts. To this day, no cracks or signs of metal failure. I even looked behind the scene where you usually you can discover the obvious. Nope, no siree, very little body filler...them buys stretch & pulled the panel to conform back to near perfection. Everyone that seen it up close cant tell if the panel has been replaced or repaired. Now thats perfection!Give a Jared a shake and let him heal your car or trick it out. Either way, you will not be disappointed. Its the guarantee that he assures every customer is treated as the one before....fairly and professionally.

They did not paint my whole door nor faded in my bed like they said they would I ended up having to instal a weather seal they promised and also a cover by the door

PLEASE READ! The worst experience ever! I took my car in to the shop 1/23 and just got it back today 2/12. I was told it would take 8 hours to do the job, which averages out to be about 2.6 days according to insurance regulations. A 3 day job took 3 weeks instead, yes 3 weeks. It was only an $1,100 job, the right quarter panes was to be repaired and had little damage. They kept telling me they couldnt match the paint, which I cant understand when they had just painted it in August. Not only did the last General Manager, Tom Olin fix my car with more damage, but he re-painted the whole thing and got it back to me within a weeks time. He even called the insurance and rental car company for me. He kept in touch with me every step of the way. His customer service was superb. The customer service these last 3 weeks have been horrible. Their attitudes were horrible and Im totally convinced that they drug their feet on my car because (A) Im a woman without male representation and (B) they already had payment from my insurance company. I would advise everyone to steer clear of not only this shop, but also the North shop as well. Michael (Mike) Shackelford owns both shops and Im also convinced that he is a money hungry shyster. Now, in all fairness they did consume my deductible of $250, which was the least they could do. He still made money out of the deal. I also need to add that even though Tom is no longer there he still goes above and beyond. He even helped me throughout this whole mess. Losing Tom was the worst thing MAACO could have ever done. THANK YOU, TOM.

I had my 96 Dakota painted there everything looked great. They charged me 700 dollars and found out later there was a special going on for 250. I get my vehicle and several months later the paint had stated to peel and chip revealing the old paint. They didnt even sand it. Total rip off if you ask me.

The service here was unacceptable, the vehicle has lots of overspray, and our radio was stolen. The vehicle needed taken back countless times because of imperfections. I am absolutely speechless by the service I have received. Definitely will not bring another vehicle here, and neither will my friends and family.

My husband took his car here about a month ago and although its been a long process and we was getting frusturated they assured us everything was ok and that for the price we paid $1300 they was going above and beyond by cutting us a major deal. There was lots of work to be done and they did what they do best sometimes things take a little longer if you want the job done right. We apologize for being impatient

Met with Travis on Monday to have a small part painted and installed on my car. Travis said it would be ready Tuesday at 3pm. Tuesday at 3pm he said it wouldnt be done until Wednesday at 3pm. Wednesday at 3pm the part still wasnt painted. This place will never ever get an opportunity to earn my business again.

Ive had 3 of my trucks repainted at this Maaco. They do a great job and always finish on time. Ill never go anywhere else to have a vehicle repainted.

I rece ntly had my Lincoln Town Car painted by Maaco. I am professional driver an my car is my storefront so it has to look perfect when I pull up to pick up passengers. I went to about three or four other paint shops and when I went to Macco I met Travis he was the most professional at any shop I ever went to. While I was waiting I watched him take care of a couple of other customers answer a couple phone calls he did not rush one of them he answered all their questions took care of each one like that they were the only person there. Being in business for myself this means a lot especially in a world that doesnt gives customer service, the guy is great. Whenwe got to my car I show them things that I thought needed to be done he pointed out quite a few other we talked about the different paint jobs he pointed out of paint job that would be in my budget and gave me what I needed. I drop my car off when I picked it back up it was unbelievable it was beautiful he went above and beyond it look like a new car made me proud to pull up to my passengers its probably the greatest movie ever made he delivered what he said and then some I would recommend his service his store to anyone in this city the rating only goes to 5 I would give him a 10 plus

Dont use the Independence location or North Kansas city. They screwed up our paint job twice and refuse to do anything fair about it. They have been nothing but rude since we paid them originally. As a small business owner I am ashamed of how this company does business. We are now in the process of getting a lawyer.
