Quality merchandise, fast and friendly staff, excellent customer experience. Offered 3 year maintenance plan on washer, jumped on it, for if you ever had one come to your home, the service call alone was more than the plan. And the plan includes service call and parts free replacement. Cant beat it, thanks sears

The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is another employee that isnt. If the owner hadnt found me i probably would have not made mt purchases there. That said, bought a fridge, washer and dryer. Priced well on sale. First time homeowner and she indulged my 3 visits while i was shopping around. I would recommend, except stay away from that one employee. Im still giving 5 stars because of the owner.

Purchased various tools here. Some did not work or were broken out of the box. I made an attempt to return to the store with my receipt to have them replace the bad tools, but they did not have any in stock. 7 months later after multiple visits, they have never restocked or ordered my replacements. Along with assuring me every time I go in that they will get them. They took all my personal contact info and never followed up. Its a shame a simple task like this is impossible to overcome. Might as well go online and not shop locally if I wont get decent customer service.

They actually had a refrigerator in stock! Many stores are requiring 4-6 weeks minimum delivery for appliances.

Nice little store, for its small size it has a lot inside. The staff is friendly, helpful and not pushy. They have the normal variety of tools, outdoor equipment, washers dryers, refrigerators, television and and array of additional household items and items needed for the maintenance of your home, inside and out. Easy access to store, it is located in the middle of town on the main road going through Independence Kansas. There are also many other small shops to visit along with your visit to this Sears outlet.

Just appliances and some tools, lawn mowers. Liked how they called to explain. A good manager does the right thing. That doesnt happen often. Kudos.

After coming in on several other occasion customer service has improved we felt like valued customers even when making a small purchase. So we decided to bring our children in for a major purchase washing machine. It was a great experience thank you!

When we purchased our kitchen appliances the service was great paid for the 5 year extended warranty even, its been a year now so called up to have everything cleaned and a small problem fixed but the service tech has been here 3 times been called two more times with the ticket cancelled by them and still dont have anything cleaned or the problem fixed, now I really dont think they stand behind their products or service people

Went in a bought a brand new washing machine and got it home and I didnt like it so I took it back and asked them if I could exchange it for a different one (one that was $100.00 more) and a woman (who Im assuming was a manager) came out asking why Im returning it and was EXTEREMLY rude to me with all her questions! It was still under warranty and everything but she treated me horrible. I will never recommend this place to anyone nor step foot in there again!

I regret not purchasing at a local owned store where customer service is better. This store expected me to bring my own people to load my appliance and didn’t tell me until I showed up. I had to load it myself. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Had a bad shopping experience about a year ago, from the moment I walked through the door one of the store managers treated me like I couldnt afford what I was buying. She really had the audacity to ask me if I had a credit limit before she swiped my card.... I told her You can run that debit lol Anyways I paid for a brand new Craftsman lawnmower among other things that failed me 2 months in so I went to get it replaced and here it is a year later and nothing. Get this when I took the mower in to get looked at they said it was a bent shafts and my 2 year warranty is no good, but there is nothing wrong with the blades and it spins just fine but the call center cant help me either so I have a 300$ paperweight. So for spending all my money at Sears last year I have a pain in the butt years time to get my lawnmower and microwave replaced... Wish me luck everyone!!!! I only have the world against me....

Bought a frig there. Lasted only 4 years. The repairman said it would be cheaper to buy another one.

Everytime we go in this store its a diaster. The help has been incompetent, takes forever to get them to answer the phone (if they answer). They screwed up the leasing and we had to fix it instead of them calling and taking care of it and whenever we go in there to pick up an item weve purchased (and had to wait for), there are excuses as to why we cant get it.
