The service provided by this service team was outstanding!We live in Northern Virginia but visiting Alabama for 3 weeks and since we couldn’t get an appointment in Virginia until mid October, we decided to try to get our service completed here. We called on Friday and Tina was able to give us an appointment for Saturday morning. Later that day, Michelle called to follow up and explained which services they were able to provide since they had limited technicians on Saturday. When we arrived Saturday morning, we were 15 mins late due to the weather, Michelle Pruitt still greeted us very politely and although we didn’t ask, she offered us a loaner vehicle since our service time was approximately 3 hours. She was so nice and thoughtful. The loaner was clean and equivalent to our vehicle. She notified us as soon as our vehicle was ready and thoroughly explained everything that the technician did to complete the service. She was absolutely outstanding!!! My husband and I were extremely pleased with the service we received.

He is very thorough walking us through our car & answering all our questions & great about keeping in touch with us through the years weve known him. *EditNot quite as pleased anymore. I wanted a malfunctioning sensor checked out. They accepted the car and charged me $170 for a diagnostic fee. They came back and said theyd have to take the bumper off to do any further diagnostic, which would be $900 in labor. That was just to physically check it, not necessarily fix it if there was an issue. I took it home and had the bumper off in 25 minutes, while following a guide and it being my first time doing it.... Full access to the module and wiring.I called them back and asked if the module/sensor could be tested. They said it had to be on the vehicle and that if I towed it there Id have to pay another diagnostic fee of $350 to get it checked out. Absurd.They did fix an o2 sensor that was under warranty, but held on to my car for 4 days to do it. Ensuring me that the part would be in each day, when that wasnt the case.
Today has to be the most efficient and expeditious service that I have ever received. I knew owning a Range Rover would be special, but the service I received was phenomenal! It started with the ease at which I scheduled the service, and the texts that I got confirming and actually every step of the process. The correspondence was direct but cordial. Then I was a little early for my appointment, but they took my car right in and explained the customizable service that I could receive; so I was able to defer some parts and get the service my Evoque deserves both now and later. I was greeted with so many smiling faces! They offered shuttle service, but I opted for a ride and came back to work. About an hour into the service, I received a walk around video…A WALK AROUND VIDEO!!!! Showing me my car, what they were doing, what they suggested, how my engine, brakes, wheels, and undercarriage fared. A video! I am blown away! After the service was done, I was sent a text, which allowed me to pay my bill. All I had to do was go in, get my receipt of the service (those smiling faces again! Love it), and wish them goo day. And they cleaned and vacuumed her too! It may be weird, but I am looking forward to my next service with Land Rover! Well done!!!
I had a wonderful experience at century Land Rover. My car was in for a whole week. This was due to parts being ordered and software upgrades. Don and Shane were very easy to communicate with on the status of our vehicle.Thanks again Shane and Don

Land Rover Huntsville Service has always been exemplary. Accommodating, helpful, efficient and competent would all describe the folks representing this dealership’s Service Department. I walk in with any issue (needing DEF fluid for my diesel or a full service inspection), even sometimes on short notice, and I am made to feel like my issues are most important to them and are addressed ASAP. Even though I bought my LR Sport in Las Vegas a few years ago, I have been bringing “Sparky” to LR HSV for much of the time over the past couple of years. These are good folks who show real concern for their customers.
We had to go out of town and really need our car serviced quickly, they moved service times to as early as possible to accommodate, fantastic service. Especially from Donald!

Service department is thorough and very communicative during the process. They quickly assessed the needed repairs and provided a quote. They had our Range Rover Sport for 1 week, because the parts needed had to be ordered.Shane is easy to work with and while fixing a Range Rover is always expensive, the service department at Century Land Rover is well done.

Overall review :Pros :Great inspection and wonderful mechanic team with extremely detailed video review and write up of all problem areas.Cons :Horrible price gauging and over estimates compared to multiple other authorized authentic Range Rover shops including the Birmingham Jaguar Land Rover dealer I took my truck to after my experience here...I have a previously owned ranger rover 2011 sport I brought in for repairs on the coolant hoses, tubes, and reservoir.After an extremely detailed inspection that the mechanic provided with a video and write up, I realized there were a handful of more problems than I imagined.They sent an initial quote for the coolant problems, along with the extra set of repairs they recommended (I.e. wiper blades, tires, etc.), but did not include a quote for a timing chain and belt, which the mechanic had pointed out may be an upcoming problem area if it broke down in the near future.This seemed strange to include other minor items + costs in the quote that are not high priority items for repair, but exclude one of the highest priority repair items (timing chain and belt) for that make and model at the 90,000/100,000 mile mark.After speaking with the sales and service department manager to ask her to please prioritize the items needing repair with her expertise and advice on how to spend my first $3,000 I have able to spend, she replied “you might as well not get any work done if you’re not able to spend the full $5,500 that they asked for, which included the repair and replacement for those minor parts that would ultimately be low impact on the vehicle performance.At this point I proceeded to call the service manager and request the quote for the timing chain and belt repair.Over the phone she quoted the labor and parts for around $1,000. I then googled this repair over night to gain an understanding that my expectation should be closer to $2,000 for this repair.I received the new quote in writing for the timing chain a few days later after needing to call to remind the service manager of this request. The quote was for around $11,000 in addition to the previous repairs bringing my new quote total to near $17,000.After receiving this quote I decided to move my truck to another repair shop and called to let them know I would be sending a tow truck.This began a unnecessarily lengthy process of getting a hold of the shop.They did not respond for 6 days and the phone line went to voice mail 2-3x per day every day over that week.Ultimately their quotes were poorly managed.I would not recommend taking a car for service here.If possible take your vehicle to Pro Auto Huntsville, another Land Rover Range Rover authorized mechanic, or down to Birmingham at the Jaguar Land Rover Dealer there.Both of these shops were highly responsive with the correct price amounts quoted for the work needed.
Every service experience I’ve had at Century Land Rover Huntsville has been a positive one. Their attention to the customer experience is evident in their communication, transparency, and timeliness of getting the job done when they promise. Don Baker has been the representative I’ve worked with and his customer service exceptional!

I took in our 2012 LR4 after it developed a coolant leak half way across our 2300 mile migration from the west coast. I was really impressed with the video diagnosis and completely satisfied with the ultimate repair.However, it took almost a week to repair and during this time I was forced to rack up several hundred dollars in rental car charges. I was repeatedly told that a loaner wasn’t available, although I find it hard to believe that not a single loaner vehicle was turned in during this period. In the three other Land Rover dealerships I’ve dealt with, they _always_ either offered a loaner car or they picked up the cost of the rental.Furthermore, the car was in desperate need of a wash and vacuum after driving those 2300 miles with two adults, two kids, and a 100 lb. Weimaraner. I was quickly told that the listed interior clean wouldn’t apply to me (I guess they reserve that for customers who spend more than the $3400 I dropped on this repair). And no wash either. I get it that the Thule on top means you can’t drive it through an automatic washing bay, but again: I’ve had the Thule mounted for at least some of the previous service visits, and I’ve never not had it washed and vacuumed. Really could have used it in this case.EDIT: Much better communication for a subsequent front brake replacement. Same great diagnosis and repair, and completed in a timely fashion. The dealership still seems to scrimp on loaner cars — I understand it’s an expensive cost, but having these available is an indication of respect for your customers, it seems to me. In any event, they had zero loaner availability going a week out. They offered a shuttle to my house and it was supposed to arrive in 20 minutes, but after half an hour I was told it was still 15 minutes out. So, I got an Uber.

Having owned and purchased 3 Land Rovers, 3 Volvos and 3 BMWs from Century AG, I may be a bit biased. With that said, Land Rover of Huntsville, along with the rest of the service at Century Auto group, is Top Notch! They do their best to be courteous, address the issues, and provide the best solutions/options while advocating for the customer. Great Group, and Don is a real pro. Completely recommend the sales and service teams. As a side note, I had the chance to spend some one on one time with a couple of the Technicians during the last Land Rover Adventure, and they are genuinely good guys! After Sales support is great, even if you have questions about how to operate the vehicle.

Excellent overall experience with the Sales Staff and delivery process. We had a bit of an initial hiccup with the order, but the problem was quickly corrected. Finance department was efficient, and sales followup excellent. And, the owner showed interest as well greeting us at the showroom. Ive already made recommendations to my Birmingham friends.

We purchased our Land Rover/Range Rover Sport from the folks at Century and loved our experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful, staying late to finish the deal and even entertaining our kids with iPads /Pokemon Go. They went above and beyond what we had experienced with another Land Rover dealership in our very hometown. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past at most dealerships but I cant say the same for Century Land Rover. Thank you to Jason Scroggins and Mark Frye for a very positive experience!!
