It is such a joy to get my vehicle serviced at Damson. The tech, Eric, greeted me promptly and took care of my needs. I walked to the showroom to get picked up and the office rep and the shuttle driver gave me warm smiles and offered me a snack. I usually like to stay and watch positive customer interaction but the COVID protocols require me to limit indoor exposure. Maybe next time.
Made a purchase in May of 2021. The buying experience was good. Sales staff was great. Fast forward 5 months. I go to another dealer shop to trade for a truck to find out Jerry Damson did not disclose some major frame damage. I called them they offered me nearly $3000 less than I gave for it. I have learned that their 100% buy back is a false advertisement. I have spoke with both used car managers Brandon and Wes. They said if I found something I liked We would work out a trade. I did, got approved payment was higher than I wanted, I ask them to come down $2000 on the price of truck and I would pay $2000 down. They did want to do that. With the buy out from another company I am supposing they do not mind ruining the Damson name .
Very pleased with my experience at the Jerry Damson Honda service department. They were able to get me in the same morning I called to have my car repaired. The overall job was estimated at 3 hours and they provided a courtesy ride home and back to Honda when my vehicle was ready. The work was completed on time and the cost was comparable to other repair shops, but its better peace of mind knowing that a garage that specializes in Hondas repaired my car.

Ive taken my 2018 Civic to the dealership service center in every state Ive lived in, this is the third for me. Jerry Damson Honda is always a superior experience. The facility always looks great, service is always prompt and stress free, and the associates always are courteous and communicate very clearly so I know exactly what to expect. My most recent service advisor was Sami and he was very helpful. Ive also been helped by Donna and she was great, as well. I would highly recommend this location, and I plan to continue visiting here.
I experience amazing customer service. Glen Davis was our salesman. I was approved immediately and Glenn kept me updated every step of the way. I enjoyed this car shopping experience. Upon arriving at the location I let Glenn know what we were looking for and he showed me exactly what they had. Glenn never wants try to upsale me or talk me into purchasing a car that was outside of my budget or that I was not interested inot interested in period. He took me to the truck that was available and from immediately suggested I take it for a spin. I didnt even ask to test drive it. He just said let me go grab the key so you can check it out. I drove it to my house and my dad was pleased. We did tge paperwork that day and the next day went back to buy it after since though. Glen answered the questions about the carfax history and we drive it off the lot about an hour or so later. However we ended up going back to give our down payment and get a full tank of gas. Glenn was able to give me insight on my credit score in addition to allowing us to add my father as a co-purchaser for credit building options. Honda will be the 1st place I chose to look anytime I am looking to purchase a vehicle in the future. As a bonus I was able to recieve a Honda sweatshirt from the gift store and that made my day. We were also able to snack and quinch our first in the service department snack area while waiting to sign our agreement.
My service was completed very quickly even on a Saturday. In and out! Everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable.
From start to finish, all of the staff members were friendly, efficient, and timely with their service. Yes, when you go through a dealership to get your car serviced there is a noticeable price markup, but it was worth every penny to be treated like a priority. I will be returning!
We purchased this beautiful pre-owned truck “as is” in March at Honda of Huntsville. We have had this truck less than 4 months, and we had to replace the muffler, the engine, and the brakes. We were told it had been fully inspected, and it was in good running condition. I understand sometimes you can purchase a lemon, especially buying a pre-owned vehicle. However, at the very least, Honda had to have known the vehicle needed new brakes if it had, in fact, been inspected. We have barely drove the truck at this point because it has been in the process of being repaired for the majority of the time we have owned it. All in all, I have to give our experience at Honda a thumbs down.

Took my Honda Odyssey in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service writer was very nice and professional. I only had to wait about an hour to be complete. The cashier was very nice and professional. The van was also washed. Very nice waiting facility, very clean. The price was very reasonable compared to going to an oil change and tire discount place to get the same services. Provided me with paperwork showing the results of various inspections they performed.

Two words for you, DWIGHT SCALES! I think I have bought 3 or 4 cars from him in a 12 year period. Maybe more. Used cars. He has always been great at communicating and advocating for the buyer. But he is also sincere enough to tell you the truth. A good voice of reason. Dwight is a salesman, but he knows when to back off or go at your pace. BUT UNDERSTAND that this market nowadays does not wait for you to make decisions slowly. Several cars we wanted to see and test drive sold before we could get to the dealership. So if youre in the market for a vehicle, be ready to purchase or youre going to miss out. Have the cash on hand or get pre-approved. Its a lot like buying houses in Madison, bd ready, be available, and have the funds. Act quick.

My battery died under warranty. I husband jumped it and took it to Jerry Damson. In 30 minutes from driving in until leaving they had not only installed a battery, but sent the car through to be washed. We were super pleased with our service. Thank you Jerry Damson

I have a 3 year old and this makes it easy to have service done if I don’t have a sitter and have to wait. We can go in the activity room, close the doors and not disturb others! So we did our research. And traded our car for a Nissan Xterra. It was late in the day and and they hadnt had time to clean it from the previous owners. We bought the vehicle and it took 2.5 hours with a 6 year old. We left the vehicle with them to detail and pick up the next day. My wife picked it up on her lunch break and they did nothing. Nasty still from the previous owners. I wont buy from them again.

Trust these folks to do a good job. Last work they did for me I requested a repair that was not really cost beneficial for a 12 year old vehicle. They called to discuss costs with me and I decided not to do the repair. I like the fact that they do a vehicle inspection as part of the service. No problems were identified in my last visit but the inspection has helped me plan for maintenance in the past.
1030 Appointment for a leaking tire-arrived at 1015. Departed at 1220 and $254 poorer because the tire could not be repaired. Honda H-RV and NOT a sports car. Lot of cash for a tire. That means I am driving around on $1000 worth of tires. Hard to believe.
My husband and I recently purchased a Honda CRV-XL from Jerry Damson Honda in Huntsville, AL. We were very happy with the entire experience. Our salesperson, Sam Johson, was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a car which was to come in on the next shipment. It arrived sooner than expected. Sam called us as soon as he knew it was coming in, and he set a time for us to pick it up. He did a good job of explaining all the controls. Yes, wed go back again if we were anticipating purchasing another vehicle.

Well when I purchased vehicle, I was supposed to get a complimentary oil change and not have to pay for a maintenance package. It is expensive enough to try to keep maintenance on my HRV, however I have tried to get in touch with the department responsible for the maintenance package and I have been ignored. Other that that, I am pleased with the vehicle. However, during the time of sale, a lot of things were not explained.

First time here and I was impressed. My 2012 Acura TL has been leaking oil, I was told by a different place that leaking oil is normal for Honda/Acura. That didn’t sound right at all. So, I came here and was told the oil pan plug is stripped and that’s why it’s leaking. They sat down with me and explained everything in detail, even tiny things wrong, along with prices as well. I was also super surprised to walk out to my car and find it washed and vacuumed out; no other dealer I’ve been to has done that. I’m very comfortable trusting this establishment with my car from now on.

We had such a great experience that I came by this weekend and bought a 2021 Odyssey! Very fair offers for our trade ins, great deal on the cars, and financing went smooth. I bought a used GMC Acadia on 12/20/2019 and came to pick it up on 12/27/2017. it still wasnt clean and in less than 50 miles the oil light came on. So it was returned to service on 12/30/2019 with codes p0305 and some other codes and a bad oil pressure sensor and no coolant in the tank. I was informed by service that the vehicle was never looked at before it was sold. I arrived on 12/30/2019 @ 2:45PM to drop off the vehicle and was told by service to wait on it instead. @ around 5:15PM i was told that i needed to leave it and i was given a loaner vehicle form 12/30/2019 till 01/2/2019. after a while of waiting on a call i contacted them and then waiting what seemed like forever on a reply i was told it was ready. They stated the vehicle had no codes other than a oxygen sensor and it was replaced along with the oil pressure sensor. I came to get the vehicle and was sent to three places to find it service, clean up & sales,then when we found it 30 minutes later they didnt know who had the keys so that was another 30 minute journey before the salesman was contacted and he had them. Long story short the cooling system still wasnt checked because it was still low i lost all faith in Jerry damson at this point. I definitely feel like since it was used they didnt care what shape it was in

Ive only been here for automotive service. The service department has been really nice and attentive. There is a coffee bar with snacks and a quiet area if you need to work while you wait. The general waiting area has TVs and magazines. They offer a ride service that will do drop offs and pick ups if needed.
I brought my 2013 Honda Accord in to check the brakes. There was not a problem with the brakes, but I had a couple of other problems that were fixed for us. All the employees we interacted with were professional and courteous.

Buying a car is normally a long and arduous process. This was not the case at Jerry Damson Honda. We were in and out in less than two hours. The facility is incredibly clean; the salesman, Ethan, was very polite and so knowledgeable about the car, along with all the technology that came with it. Not to mention the fact that I am absolutely in love with my new CR-V. 10/10, would Honda and Ethan again.

I was in town and was referred to Jerry Damson Honda. My starter had been going out for some time and I decided to get it checked/replaced. I drove into the service bay at Damson and was immediately told it was probably my battery. I said no because it was not old and when my battery dies it dies and never starts again. They put cables on my battery and said they would check it out. I asked for an oil change as well. This was June 8, 2021. The next morning they called and said my car was ready. It was your battery, so we replaced it. I told them to put my original battery in my car so I could return it to AutoZone for a refund. The next morning I picked up my car and I still said I believe it is my starter and David Terry (Main Service Advisor), said no, your battery was dead. This did not make sense to me as I feel I know my car and I have a decent level of knowledge of car issues. I paid my bill and started to leave when I noticed they did not put my old battery in the back floor board of my car. I went back to David and said hey, you charged me for the core charge, but the battery is not in my car. He said he would see if he could find it, then he returned with my old battery and put it in the floor board of the back seat. I went to AutoZone for a refund, but they tested the battery first. They said this battery is good. I took a photo of the readout while it was charged to my battery and went straight back to Damson---in the pouring rain. First I called David, then his boss (Forest)and neither one of them answered the phone. When I arrived I spoke to (I think) a cashier and said I needed to get a refund. She tried to contact Forest and David, but they were on the phone (I could see them in their office). When David came out he seemed upset that I wanted a refund and, I guess, because I was questioning the quality of the service I received. I told him to test my battery right now in front of me and let me see what the reading showed. He agreed and then said Autozone should be ashamed for lying to me and (not verbatim) you do realize you are taking the word of someone (at Autozone) that probably worked at McDonalds versus a master mechanic and I said all I know is someone is not being honest and I want some answers. Another service tech showed up with the tester, put it on my battery and said battery is good. David said get your refund (again, not verbatim). No apology. Forest spoke to me when I was in the cashier office and asked me if he could see the printout of when they tested my battery the day I first brought my car in. I showed him my paperwork because I did not know what he was looking for, and Forest said it was not there. He said it should have been stapled to my paperwork. So, in my opinion, either this was a quick lets make $250 the easy way or someone was not trained to change a starter, or someone wasnt wanting to change a starter, or...who knows!!!! So, after losing a day without my car I would have driven 100 miles home having spent $250 for a repair that did not happen after I had to take 2 days off from work to do it, only to come back home and have my car mis -start again (June 13), and then again on June 14. On that day I just happened to be at a repair shop that I had used in the past and was asking them about my car. I got ready to leave and it would not start. The guy heard clicking sounds when he walked away, so he turned around and said your car was clicking and then said they could check a couple things to make sure it was the starter. I picked up my car on June 15, 2021 and have not had a problem since. Today is June 30, 2021. So, I do not recommend Jerry Damson Honda. But it seems to me they need to fire their master mechanic or make sure he did not get his certification from McDonalds...
