I needed to return an item. I went to the Long Beach location first thing in the a.m. EVERYONE was so nice + helpful they were very attentive. I was impressed with the staff. I will definitely shop at this location.

I enjoyed my visit to Sephora. We were helped by two gentlemen who knew what they were doing.(a nice change) I would go back in a second if I needed anything else. I know my questions will be answered honestly and I would be steered in the right direction.

Alex really helped me out. I’m a guy and don’t know anything about makeup. But I started a web series and need to get good at it. He set me up big time with foundation, concealer, powder, face wash, moisturizer, and brow makeup... sure he got me to spend $300 but no one said looking beautiful was cheap haha. Thx a lot, Alex! I’ll be back when I need more. I really love the rice face wash and moisturizer too.

Poor customer service, will never go back again. Bought Nars blush that clearly has a defect and they knew about this but wouldnt take it back because the manufacturer hadnt issued a recall.

They have great products and service. I utilize the makeover service on a regular basis for special events. Its nice to try new stuff. I always find something to get.

Nikki F helped me out and she was awesome! The mascara and tinted lipstick she recommended are superb! And I was nervous about them. Ive gotten so many compliments on my eyelashes. She was intuitive, personable, and made me feel well taken care of. Sometimes at Sephora, I feel a bit put off by high pressure sales employees. I didnt get that at all from her. Thanks!

A true hidden gem! People still dont know about the Sephora So to avoid all the crazy crowds from everywhere else especially South Coast Plaza this is the place to go! The selection may be a bit lower but its so worth it to avoid the lines.The store associates are amazing! Especially Sam and America the manager they are so nice and so many more of them are just the sweetest people ever and they have the best recommendations for makeup and skin care.They always keep it nice and neat and perfectly stocked this is definitely the perfect little Sephora in a cool location with beautiful views!

Sephora and Nyx have always been the best places to get makeup and I love playing around in there with all the samples with my girlfriend. If you need some stuff that is less subdued, try Nyx.

They had what I neede unlike other beauty stores. I was in, and out in less than 10min. I thought that was pretty good for a Sat. Especially three days before Christmas.

The Cast members here actually care about what they’re selling and who comes in their store. I’ll go out of my way to this location if it means I don’t have to deal with a mall location. ❤️❤️❤️

Every single time I stop by Sephora, whether its busy or not, the workers there always seem reluctant to help a customer out and help them feel confident about the $100 dollar products their buying. Its always so frustrating because it makes you feel like you have to be worthy of their time. This one worker that helped me out kept tapping her foot and treating me like I was some dumb preschooler just because I didnt know anything about highlighters. Sephora is always cagey about letting customers try or swatch products. One time me and a friend walked in and swatched one of the try-me highlighter palette that was on display, but one of the employees protectively rushed after the palette and brisked it away as if we were some kind of pariahs and angrily told us now I have to scrape all this off and to next time, ask us.

I was at sephora today and one rude, racist person thought I shoplifted because I look Mexican. She stopped my friend and I before we left and kept asking us if we wanted to leave something behind and that there were cameras everywhere. Im very disappointed. This was an unpleasant visit. I recommend going to this sephora if you enjoy being stalked and discriminated. This is why I do online shopping...

Oh man, where do I start. First, let me say that I have received poor customer service at this Sephora location before, but this one really takes the cake. Granted, it was busy, but that is no excuse to how me and my younger step-sister were treated. When we finally flagged someone down, the woman asked my sister how much she was comfortable spending on foundation and when we said $20-30, she rudely told us that there was nothing in that price range for us, which we knew was untrue. When we corrected her, she took us over to the Sephora foundations, which were $20, dabbed a bit on my step-sisters chin, and then said “this one works”, and walked away. If you like Sephora, go to the one at South Coast Plaza. They are much more pleasant and actually value customer service.

I was there today trying to return my sunscreen,,, the lady at the register told me that bc of my previous exchanged I can’t get my refund I hv to get the store credit which I don’t really mind,,, and then I told her that I paid in cash on my original receipt though !!!But she’s still telling me that same reason so I just alright ok I’m fine!!! Came hm read the return policy in the bck of the receipt it said I suppose to hv 60 days instead of 2 weeks feeling confused now 😕😟
