The team at Gustafson Brothers are excellent; the entire chain from desk agent to mechanics were incredibly thorough and helpful. I booked an appointment over the phone for a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle with the desk agent. They were very courteous & helpful with finding an appointment time and taking in relevant information.The team is incredibly transparent and I received notifications throughout every step of the process. Once my car was checked in, I got an email with a link to the planned services & estimates. After the inspection was complete, they emailed me the results complete with photos taken throughout the inspection. For example, they checked all fluids and took a photo of the fluids in vials next to what normal should look like. They identified a small oil leak and had photos to document where it was/how bad it was.Overall I was incredibly pleased with the thoroughness and helpfulness of this shop. Would definitely be looking to bring my cars here in the future

I watched the class and wonderful customer service provided to every person that came in. While I waited the actual owner John stopped by and we started speaking, I told him I did alot of research about his place and he was so nice to give me a actual tour of the whole facility. So 2 days ago I brought my Jeep here and was told they couldn’t even do any diagnostics or test drive my Jeep because it overheated too fast, then I was told it would cost me $700 to change my water pump, a few hoses and test my transmission....I ended up taking my vehicle the next day to a different mechanic in Westminster and for the same repairs he charged me $360. My Jeep runs amazing now and I saved money and wasn’t ripped off

I had an appt. To leave my car to be fixed ! And get a ride, a mile away to pick-up my other car@ dealership !2 hrs. I waited & still nothing happened ! I was hot & wanted to go ! Then the lady in office wanted to charge my battery, but the car started up fine ! I brought the Lincoln in just to fix the door @ their body shop ????? I said, I cant keep waiting, Im tired & it was very hot ! I had the appt. To just leave the car for repair, but not wanting to go into a third hour more, I left ! My little dogs were hot & no water! I left ! Theres nothing wrong with my battery !

How can you pay for what you get well this is true koustis and brothers. Not the cheapest place in town but the work is solid and theyre very transparent on everything they charge you. Would be nice though if they had somewhere to park other than the two spots in front of the office. just saying.

My wife loves this place, and theyve always taken good care of her -- and her six-speed hemi Challenger. (Personally, Ive always done my own wrenching because Im a stubborn old gearhead, and as long as Ive got an old friend or two left who isnt dead yet Im going to keep on wrenching it, myself.) Todays cars require todays repair technology, and these guys have what it takes (and my high school auto shop teacher must be rolling over in his grave, because his first car was a hand-me-down Model-T).

Excellent place to have your vehicle serviced. I put my trust in my mechanic Memo and their body shop.

I made a reservation first by using their website which was having issues so I called and spoke to a rep who set up the appointment for 1:30PM. I arrived and there was no record. I was told to leave the car and wait for a call. I rented a car from them for two days and was told they didnt want to work on my baby. So now Im back to ground zero:( right where I started with a car leaking fluids and no repair. They charge $150 to wash your engine hmm.. Do your diligence and listen to you mama.

Got my car body work done here, got an excellent experience.I’m sure body shop guys are doing great job, but I also asked my advisor if possible to make battery technician to have a look on my car since I had some issues before I gave car to them.Unfortunately issue mentioned by them was not the case.My advisor suggested that battery technician suggested “ change of Battery “, and when I gave it to my usual mechanic he suggested me otherwise!!! And it was Starter problem.

We have had great experiences at Gustafson in the past, so when we smelled burning electrical wires we called just before closing and they accommodated us immediately, thoroughly checked our electrical system, found and fixed the problem, and had us on our way so we still had our vehicle. Was charged $334.14 for an oil change and for them to tell me what I already knew was wrong with my car. They tax on a hefty $140 “labor” fee just to tell me the codes that you can have read for free at any auto parts store. Couldn’t recommend more to go somewhere else.

Eric was very professional in handling my car’s issues. He even made sure I had a ride home after dropping my car off, which saved me from having to pay for a Lyft or Uber. My car was having what appeared to be transmission and speedometer problems but the technician discovered a ripple coming from the alternator which was causing the symptoms. I picked this place because it was referred by Mercury insurance. My service rep was good and kept me updated on my car. He first said it would be done Monday after dropping it off on a Wednesday. I thought that would be quick but it was done on Tuesday because service rep wanted to make sure the paint job was above satisfactory which it was. I’m happy with the paint and repair job so far. If not I know I have a lifetime guarantee through them as well as mercury! It’s a win.

Drop off and initial contact with Eric, my service rep. was excellent.After you park inside the right side gate, at the marked spot indicated by the signs, you go inside to customer service (mechanical) if no-one approaches immediately.

I broke down more than forty miles from home and was towed to Gustafson Brothers. They let me know what was wrong with my car in a very short time. The entire service staff was very nice & helpful. If I lived closer to their facility, I would take my vehicles there on a regular basis. While I was waiting to pick up my vehicle, I watched how they interacted with customers. They treated them like close friends & family. Not something you see at most shops.

Gustafson Brothers was recommended to me by Mercury Insurance after I was involved in a hit and run that left my bumper quite a bit messed up. Both Mercury and GB were extremely helpful in getting my car repaired in a timely manner. It turned out that the whole bumper had to be replaced but you cant even tell because of what a good job GB did. Kathy, my rep at GB was very knowledgeable and super helpful throughout the whole process. The prices were fair for the amount of body work that had to be done.Fast forward about a year and I had to go back again. This time because I was rear ended by a foreign guy in a rental car. I received the same great customer service from GB. This time I needed a rental car and it was so nice that they had it on hand. The rental car was brand new, nice, and clean. I was told to make sure to fill up the tank before I brought it back, otherwise Hertz would charge me a ridiculous amount for gas. My bumper was again repaired and looks as good as new!I would highly recommend GB for their excellent customer service and great quality work!

I have been coming to Gustafson Brothers since 1971. Right now I have a new car and havent been in in the last 2 years but once again I can not ask for a better independent repair shop. I myself have always been pleased with all work that had been done on my past cars. I always felt they were honest on their pricing and if I had a problem could always pop in and get the question answered and sometime no service charge, especially for something as simple as turning of the alarm system in my car. I have even had body work done by the team and have been completely satisfied.

I took my vehicle in for a tune up. When the vehicle was returned to me, it was running worse than before I brought it in and they informed me that I needed a valve job. I went elseware for a second opinion, and found that they had crossed two of the spark plug wires. I returned to ask for a refund and was laughed at also refused any refund. Very poor customer service and dishonest business practice. Be careful with these guys

I really like this place. they do excellent body work, match the paint perfectly, and have very good customer service. Rae has assisted me both times Ive been here and is always very nice, courteous, & professional. The waiting room has a nice seating area, a TV, and mags to read.

Ive used them for both body repair & automotive repair. They did excellent work, suggested repairs that were needed on our 12 year old vehicle along with lower cost options (heres the way to truly fix the issue, you could do this alternative to save some money, or you could leave it as is since its not a safety issue). Will definitely use them again, and have already referred them to friends.
