Really nice people and very helpful. They really take the time to find what mattress works best for you.They give you time to try each suggestion out and are not pushy.They spend time explaining how the mattress should fit and feel to you body.Mattresses appear good quality and they are all custom made to order.They are not the cheapest in town but the seem honest about the construction and materials the use.I believe their products would last longer the the big box stores.The main show room is at the manufacturing facility so it is not posh and pretty but is is also not dirty or uncomfortable.They opened a new showroom in Humble but have not been there yet.If you go ask for Jeff is seemed to be the best salesman there.

Let me start by saying that Texas Mattress Makers is undoubtedly the best mattress company in the world. Super product, super service and extremely profession in dealing with product issues.The story:In 2015 we bought a Florence king-size mattress from Texas Mattress Makers. I am now 77 rears old. This mattress is the best mattress I have ever slept on. However, over the last six years the pillow top had developed a “king’s ridge” in the middle.I contacted Texas Mattress Makers. To see if it could be repaired. I figured it was out of warranty and I would have to buy a new one.Jason asked me to send some photos and the receipt. I could not find my receipt. But told Jason they financed it. He found our records and the mattress was under warranty. Noah got involved and told us the issue was the pillow top had conformed to our body’s sleep position. Noah also told us it could be repaired (replacing the pillow top) at no charge. The only problem was getting the mattress back to them.They picked up the mattress at our home and delivered it for $120 and saved my back.They picked up on Tuesday. Repaired it on Wednesday. And delivered it on Thursday looking like new.Thanks to Jason, Noah, Jeff and the 2 men who picked up the mattress and the 2 men who deliverd it. You guys are such professionals.Thanks for the service and a great product.Sleeping good.

This company is amazing! I’ve been sleeping on there mattresses at home for over 8 years (just upgraded to a king a year ago) and they are they best! I cannot find another mattress better for me.What’s also great about Texas Mattress Makers is that they can make custom mattress. They have made me mattress for my RV I used to have and now my yacht. I get the same exact sleep at home but now I’m my boat! I could not be happier!!The service is top notch and the staff is very helpful and will assist you in finding the best nights sleep. He has only made me an even bigger fan of TMM than I have been before and I have yet to take delivery of my Oslo Euro Top mattress. We purchased two custom made twin mattresses and one queen for our RV. It was made on time, but when we put it in the camper it didn’t fit! When we let Texas Mattress Makers know, the apologized profusely and had new mattresses customized within the week, and they fit perfectly! They even delivered to us for free! Our family can’t believe how comfortable “RV” mattresses are! Thank you for such great customer service and comfortable mattresses! Now my wife wants the adjustable bed for the house. We had a very good experience with them. The salesman, Marco, took the time to find out what our needs are. We ended up getting one of the standard mattresses customized with an extra layer of memory foam. The three things I liked most were: the owner working with customers, being a local Houston company and they were closed on Memorial Day in respect to the service members who gave their lives.

Our physician recommended a zero gravity bed to help with chronic back issues. Not having shopped for such an item before (we actually purchased our last mattress about ten years ago), the experience was an education in itself, given todays technology. Our preference was a split king, basically two extra-long twins with separate mechanisms and remote controllers.Essentially, two manufacturers dominate the industry ... TempurPedic and Sleep Number. The former sets the prices, so whether you shop at Gallery, Mattress Firm or any other retailer, youll pay the same. The latter operates its own stores, so theres no competition there either. Not coincidentally, they sell for about the same amount ... somewhere between $6k and $7k (Ive bought cars for less than that!)Enter Texas Mattress Makers. The factory showroom is nothing fancy, but all models are displayed, with prices clearly marked, unlike the big-box guys. We were helped by Diego, who answered all our questions about construction (virtually identical to the brand names), quality (10 yr. warranty), delivery and setup (included in price) and time frame (about 10 days, as everything is made to order). We opted for the better frame (does pretty much everything but start your coffeemaker), and, bottom line, paid less than half of what the other retailers were charging. Even more of a saving was the fact that, unlike the competition, they do not charge for two XL twins, but rather just a king, be it single or split. All-in-all, we paid just under $2900 for a set that would have cost us about $7000 elsewhere.Doing business with a local company is always preferred ... and given that theyve donated hundreds of products to various charitable endeavors makes it even better. Whats more, if an employee needs a mattress, theyll give him/her a floor model at no charge and replace it with a new one in the showroom ... pretty cool.The bed was delivered as promised, and the guys set everything up, checking to make certain that all worked as designed. We got a quick lesson in operation of the remote, were reminded to register the frame with the manufacturer that warranties it ... total time about twenty minutes. Weve had it for just over two weeks, and are completely satisfied. This is your go-to place for your next mattress purchase.

Brother had a mattress made that fitted his needs. The only problem we had was on delivery. Wrong mattress was delivered but was corrected immediately..My brother lives his mattress and finally getting rest.. I will definitely do business again with this company..

I went to the Katy location today and was disappointed and angry when I left. The sales guy started in on his spiel, without any introduction or smile. I mentioned that Id like an adjustable base that raised the knees. He had to lay down on several to demonstrate, and none met my needs. He could have just said no, we dont have any. Time wasted. After another 10-15 min. and getting nowhere, he said the mattress will take another month or so, but the adjustable base will be ready in 10-12 days. I told him early on that I need relief for my back asap. This guys name was Vic (I had to ask him for his name), he never smiled and he was flat, with no interest, no personality. He was even argumentative, very unpleasant. I really wanted to give TMM my business, but my trip there was a huge waste of time. When I left, there was no good-bye, no thank you for coming in, no sorry it didnt work out from him. This place would be just fine if youre not in a hurry for a mattress and Vic doesnt come near you. This guy is not an asset to TMM - steer clear.

My stuff was just delivered. I just moved back from out of state. Was referred to this company through friends and family. I was going to get a bed that came in a box but was over whelmed online with all of the ads and figured I needed to lay on it first. I arrived at the factory on the east side of Houston down the street from my favorite Mexican food spot Ninfas. The place is cool for real! I was greeted by Jeff the store manager who walked me through the differences of components and options for me being a side sleeper. We arrived at the Cannes ET and that felt the best. He then walked away and came back with some memory foam to add to the mattress to make it even more comfortable for me. I didn’t think that was even possible. I met the owner as well and he showed me the furniture side. I was able to make a one stop shop and get a couch as well in their factory. The price was very fair in my opinion and I felt like I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional not a used car salesman. Cool place. Glad the movers wore a mask too.

He went out of his way to help me and promised to keep in touch and to make sure I would have a great sleep. Well thanks to him leaving me hanging I am sleeping in pain every night. He said he spoke to Jeff about my Situation and I spoke to Jeff too but got no where. I hear they have good stuff but they probably not used to dealing with poor people. Was very pleased with the selection and quality of the mattresses. Carlos answered all my questions and I ended up buying a full and queen size mattress for less than half I would have paid for at normal retail outlet. Would highly recommend taking the drive and giving them a try.

We went back to exchange for a different mattress and Jeff was an absolute dream to work with. He made the exchanging process as smooth as one can hope. We choose to buy a mattress here based on the positive reviews and this place definitely live up to its reputation. Ask for Jeff the next time you go in. This review has been done 3 times now.We went to Texas Matress Makers for 2 sets of form mattresses. I must have tried out 10 different mattresses, and ended on the very first matress. I guess or sales guy Carlos had to have a seat as I floated from matress to matress, lol. We purchased or 2 mattresses and will be delivered in a week. As for Carlos and confirm your delivery date.

This is my 5th mattress from TMM. Upgraded to the Noah Allen Euro Top. Sleeps like a dream! Pretty amazing that you can get a top tier mattress made right here in Houston specifically for you. They also make custom mattresses if you want something extra special.

These guys are terrific! I saw their ad on TV and then happened to be driving by on Navigation Boulevard, so I stopped in the showroom. I needed a new mattress for my motorhome - custom size with a radius corner and they were happy to help. They took measurements and were able to get me a new mattress within a week. There was a minor issue which they immediately fixed and offered to deliver so I wouldnt have to driver my rig to the factory again. This was a great solution as custom RV mattresses are not easy to find.

To be a very good value with the same warranty as big name brands. Researching a little before ordering to find the best deal for the money. Personal service before and after purchase sound or look to be good.

Bought my mattress from here about 2 years ago and it’s the most comfortable I’ve ever had. Returned to have a custom size mattress made and it was surprisingly very reasonable and completed within 2 weeks!!

I feel very cheated here! Our first mattress we bought them was hard as a rock and they told me it will get softer within 2 months, and that was fine with us because we were looking for a firm mattress that didn’t sink with time. Many months went by the mattress never got softer and our back just got worse. Thankfully they exchanged it but only gave us $900 for it to add on another mattress. We lost good few hundreds of bucks on that return. With the $900 we bought them another one and payed $350 more. The new mattress felt just right at their location. Not too hard, not too soft, my husband lay down on it, we both laid down on it for a while to make sure it didn’t sink it was perfect. We payed $350 more plus the $900 (still a little expensive) we thought well for the price is a good mattress probably . We got it especially made for our RV and we traveled for work to Florida. We felt a week later that the mattress was uneven from on side (no support) but we tried to not stress about it. As weeks went by the mattress got worse! Now it’s just difficult to sleep good 8hrs on it. We switch ends of mattress once a month and that worked for a bit and now you just can’t rest. Another costume made mattress here in Florida will cost us around $1,700-$2,800 is just too much. In less than a year we have to spend on mattress again!! (How is that possible?!) I needed to write a review so people be aware. We were embarrassed to call them directly because they switch the first one even though not full refund, but we still felt thankful plus we are not in Houston right now. I would like to think that the support they put possibly wasn’t done correctly but who knows! We wasted time, money, and we still need a good mattress. This mattresses are possibly not being made with detailed in support, I think just in the correct size that you are needing. Very dissatisfying I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unfortunately.

Bought one of their mattresses four years ago. After only 2 1/2 years the pillow top was collapsing by more than two inches. My wife and I neither one weigh more than 150 pounds! I called them to ask about the warranty but when the guy came out to check it, he told me it would cost almost $400 to upgrade the pillow top. Dont believe the 10 year warranty they boast about, its a lie. Well, your response is the exact thing I was complaining about. Your warranty is trash. Not giving you another $400 for a mattress I got screwed on.:

I have purchased three mattresses from this store and have been 100% happy with everything involved.The assistance in deciding, the purchase process, the delivery experience, the comfort of the mattress, and the durability are all excellent and flawless.The oldest mattress is about 8 years old and shows no sign of wear or use at all.I have had no issue that required any sort of follow up or warranty so I cannot review based on that but the quality has made my purchase totally satisfactory and I will return next time I need to purchase a mattress.

These guy talk a good game. But in the end they are just like all the other mattress people in town. I purchased a mattress from them two years ago. Was promised I would not get the valley effort on either side of a king size mattress. Well I did. And when I went back to speak with them. They said they didnt show selling me anything. After two more trips back. They finally found my purchase. But said someone would have to make a home visit to see how I slept on the mattress. Well, after two appointments between 8 and 12. Still no one has shown up. They lie.

The sales man or owner not sure who be was, did great at demonstrating and explaining the difference in mattress. He did such an amazing job i felt like i wanted to go back and purchase the barcelona type. Unfortunately the price range was way out of our league for that hybrid that we had to go somewhere more affordable. However their products are quality so it just depends on the buyers budget.

During both of our visits, we were waited on quickly by the sales staff who spent all the time with us that we wanted but also gave us time by ourselves to test the mattresses. They also didn’t do any upselling which I appreciated.The mattress we picked felt comfortable in the show room and we were told that it would take around 3 months to break in. The new on that was delivered felt much firmer to me and when the 3 months were about up, I returned it for one that was listed as medium-soft. It was still too firm and after several months, bought a foam topper for it. Around 7 months after I had received the mattress. Jeff called to see what he could do to satisfy me after I wrote a poor review of the product. He asked if I would try another, no charge or delivery fee that was even softer. I did and its worked out pretty well. Its probably just the condition of my back and no mattress is going to work perfectly. I may have to go back with the topper but Texas Mattress Makers made a good effort to provide me with a good mattress.

Clean, organized facility. Carlos our salesman answered questions, offered information on mattresses. Pointed us in the direction of purchase based on our answers and how our bodies conformed to several mattresses we tried. We bought one scheduled for delivery late next week.I wish prices were posted on the various mattresses so I didnt have to ask each time making it difficult to remember.I bought here because the mattress is made onsite so Im buying local. There was no pressure to buy. Ill update review after several months.Update: Ive been sleeping on the mattress for a month. Im very happy with it, sleeping better than the past several years when I woke throughout the night. I also walked through the mattress display at a major retailer. Im not a big store shopper so I was surprised to find a similar mattress to the one I purchased priced at more than twice what I paid. I paid less than $2000 similar were $3000-$4300.

We bought our main mattress - king size - from them several years ago. Its been by far the most comfortable mattress Ive ever slept on... and it was a fraction of the price of other mattresses weve owned and looked at. Weve also bought a twin mattress and are about to buy a queen mattress.The owner was in the store by chance when we were looking for our king. I really appreciated the time he took personally to help us find the right mattress. We had zeroed in on a more expensive mattress, but after hearing our needs and our sleep habits - he recommended a less expensive one. You wont find that kind of honesty at any other place. Earned them our business for life.

The five star is definitely just for the product because the salesman wrote up receipt at purchase but fail to schedule a delivery date even after telling us theyd be there on a particular day and that theyd call a day ahead to schedule a time of delivery and not only did we never get that promised call but when we called we found out a delivery date hadnt been scheduled. They then sent two delivery men out who showed up sooner than they said they would and though one of them was polite the other one was just the opposite. As im removing things from the bed to remove the mattress he took my bedding and new clothes id just purchased and threw them in a cornor on the freaking floor. (Remind you they were early so i wasnt done hanging things up and having things ready for them ). He reached a form to me afterwards and walked off and then came back and said you gotta sign it, im like wow. But let me say what really ticked me off, being that im a heart patient and ive been hid in my house since the pandemic started and even zooming my kids and grandkids and then this guy had the nerve to not have on a mask what so ever. The younger one wore a mask but the rude one did not which had me having anxiety attacks for two days if i so much as coughed or felt so much as a tingle in my throat. This guy was a real class act when it comes to being a jerk. However, even as angry as i am i must say that Texas Mattress Maker itself is by far the greastest when it comes to comfort in a mattress. Even though they left black finger prints on a few spots and that sucks but omg i havent slept this good in a very very long time.

I was in need of a new mattress set and went to the Navigation location to check them out. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and helped me to select a mattress that fit my body and how I sleep. I ended up buying a River Oaks set in king size. They built and delivered it when they said they would and took my old set away for me. The mattress is high quality and very comfortable. The price was fair too. I plan on posting a follow up review in a few months after I see how well the mattress holds up. I highly recommend this place.Update: I have slept on the mattress for several months now. It has held up well and remains as comfortable as the day it was delivered. I expect that it will provide me with years of comfortable sleep. Buying a bed is tough. It is difficult to know what you are getting until you live with it for awhile. With Texas Mattress Makers you get what you pay for and that is refreshing.

Just bought a custom bed for our Airstream from TMM. FANTASTIC! The sales folks help you understand the differences, and they have a huge variety to choose from. The bed was a custom size and they had it ready in a week. We love it. Cant recommend these folks and their products enough!

Saw there advertisements on TV early in the morning, I went on line and took there mattress quiz. When we got down to there store the young man did not even show us what there quiz said, took us to the more expensive. (Commission)? We did purchase this time, odds are we will not go back. The mattress we bought is a great mattress but did not like higher priced sales push.

Once I selected the one that was for me, they expeditiously wrapped up the transaction, and told me what their normal delivery dates were. Being that I was only available on a day they normally do not deliver, they did make an exception at no additional cost to deliver on that day. Over two months later, I am still extremely pleased with my purchase as I had a bout with sciatica, and this mattress eliminated all pain within a couple of weeks of sleeping on it. I love my new eurotop mattress from TMM! Its a huge improvement from the old sagging mattress it replaced. The whole process was very easy, prices were very fair and Id definitely buy from TMM again. I wish the delivery crew would have worn a mask inside my home, I wore a mask inside their space, but that is my only complaint.

We have bought a queen mattress here five years ago and it has been fantastic. We just bought a king last week. The sales folks are friendly, informative, and no pressure. The delivery folks are on-time, fast, and professional. The mattress quality is great and these mattresses are less expensive than national brands. I think these folks actually manufacture mattresses for the national brands.

Texas mattress makers will make your mattress to your specifications. They go out of their way, over and above service. I do know that if the mattress is not right after you sleep on it for 90 days, they will in fact make it right. How do I know this I know this because we got three mattresses from them they were all free, all delivered, because the bed had broken down within a three month period. This place is a class act.

Incredible in every way!I have had 3 beds in 9 years because they started sag due to the stuffing on top compressing resulting in sleeping in a hole. Other family had the same issues. They purchased here and when they were not happy TMM took great care to make them happy. They stand behind their products and have amazing services and prices.They helped me select the best bed for me regardless of price( ie not their most expensive ones). I got a comfort coil with small coils on top ( coil on coil) instead of foam that will compress. Excellent bed and not a sag to be found

I bought a mattress there. At $875 it did nor meet my expectations of a mattress at double the cost. I am not sleeping better. I have developed more pain in my arms now. I am past the 100 day warranty so I can no longer be a complaintant by their warranty. They are no better than any other company. They cost the same. What is their media about being half the cost!!! Not the truth!

I saw Texas Mattress Makers being promoted on Houston Life. I decided to go in and check it out since they make their mattresses here in Texas and specifically for you. The salesman wasnt pushy, but didnt really give me a whole lot of direction. I pretty much just tried out the beds and picked the one that felt the best for my budget, which was $1100. He did tell me that the mattresses get softer with age. Well the mattress I tried in the store, which was London Eurotop, was soft and relieved pressure points. I decided on buying this one. I received my mattress a week later which was the end of February 2018. The bed felt nothing like the one I tried in the store. I remembered what the salesman said about it taking a little time to loosen up. Well its been 4 months and it has not loosened up. My husband and I wake up every morning with back/hip pain. What a waste of money.

Wonderful experience, sales associates are very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Cant say enough good things about this place. 1st class!!

Service was great however our mattress probably lasted 2 years at most before it started to sag. 4 years in the mattress requires replacement as it is no longer supportive enough for a good nights sleep. Shame as we like supporting locally manufactured products.

I’m 66 yrs, bought a double mattress, got it repaired 3 times, still terrible, and after complaining the manager tore up my paperwork and told me never to contact them again. Horrible experience.

Wonderful place. Very affordable! Nice staff! Got 2 twin beds, box frames, mattresses & they also added microfiber sheets! Excellent place !

I absolutely love this place! Since Harvey I have purchased 3 sets of mattresses from them; a twin, full, and queen and they all sleep perfectly! One set was sold out and they made me one that night and it was ready to pick up the very next day. Now, thats what call service. Thanks Texas Mattress Makers👍👌

Guys. Texas Mattress Makers. I had a great experience at this place, but I decided I would wait to review it until the mattress proved its quality. So two years later, I can say that on top of the great service, and the patience of the staff as I tried out almost every mattress within my general price range, that this place makes high quality mattresses. I had researched mattress reviews online before decided to try out this place, and after trying out the options and talking with the staff, I walked out with an awesome pillow top mattress and box spring for less than the hard as a rock or no support mattresses were (without the box spring) at any chain or online mattress store I had seen. This place is worth a visit.

We bought 2 XL twins and an adjustable frame. I do not these mattresses are really made to be adjustable. Every time we raise and lower our sides the top sheet and blanket totally come out at the bottom I have to remake it or our feet stick out. I do not like the way when you raise the frame the mattress does not conform to the frame. Adjustable frames are not made from mattresses with coils. Have only had a couple of weeks, thinking about sending them back.

Great experience. I walked in and the guy didnt try to up sell me but recommended lower end product because I would probably grow out of it by the time I was done with college. Great prices dont let the location fool you this is the factory where the mattresses are produced so you will get the best deal by cutting out the middle man.

Customer service is GREAT! From the minute you walk in they make you feel comfortable. No one clings on to you trying to sell you something. Will definitely recommend!

Walked in and was greeted by a young lady who got us a rep., and it was done in minutes. The salesman showed us the difference in two mattress and tried them both, then picked the best one for us, and it was done in less than a hour. Thank you guys for such great service!
