I have made several gold and silver purchases at this shop lately in order to diversify my investment and plan for the possible difficult times ahead for our economy. I first made several phone calls to them to ask questions as I was not very experienced as to what I wanted to buy and how to pay for it. Obviously, I wanted to make sure I didnt get ripped off. I also had a pretty fair distance to travel so I wanted to make sure I also didnt waste my time. I have found Juan and Nick to be very patient, informative, and honest. Always selling me the coins at the current spot price plus a reasonable markup. They are a small shop on Westheimer just a few blocks off Montrose. Check them out!

Very welcoming and honest. I discovered Ace Watches looking to find a second-hand dealer for Rolex watches that I could talk watches with and learn some things as I was a first time buyer. To my delight, they had the exact watch I was looking at a very fair price. Being a new customer to them, they welcomed me into the store with ease and enthusiasm. I was not looking to buy a watch so soon, but having the watch I wanted at a great price and great service, I eventually came back made my purchase. When you come into the store everyone is excited to see and not just standing back trying to figure out who you will be the bother for. I had three watches and they expired sizing them for me which is major for me being that I am in the aviation industry. I purchased a Rolex back in May. (I found it online, and drove an hour and a half to pick it up). Total cost was a little over $6,000. It’s condition was rated 9.5, came with box, etc. it looked like a brand new watch, and I loved it. It also came with a 1 year warranty and I was told by Juan it was recently serviced. 4 months later, I noticed that the magnifier (above the date) was missing. Looked like it just fell off. No other scratches, cracks, or damage to the crystal face at all. I called Juan and was told to bring it in. I explained I was an hour and a half drive and he said that they had a watch repair guy on site and to bring it. The next day I drove to Houston. When I got there, I was pretty mich ignored, and was told they had to send it off. In return, I would get a piece of an envelope (I guess as “proof”). This was not at all what I had been told when I called. I would avoid this place at all costs. They apparently use cheap after market parts to make the watches look good in the case, but clearly are not good quality. The only reason I give a 1 star rating is because it wouldn’t let my give zero stars. I also plan on reporting this to the BBB. they were great with the purchase, but I was treated terrible when I needed customer service.

Great place to both buy or sell watches, jewelry, or coins. I’ve sold quite a few watches over the years to them and they’ve always given me fair market value. They’ve even taken things they knew would take a while to sell just to maintain good business relationships with their clients. I highly recommend them.Side note, they have a very small parking lot. Parking can be a tad difficult, but their service, in my opinion, makes it worth it.Additionally, if you are looking for a particular watch and they don’t have it, talk to them. They are in touch with a lot of local dealers and markets and may be able to locate what you’re looking for.

I came here to sell some jewelry from an ex-boyfriend. The staff were very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I let the gentleman at the counter take a look at the pieces and he was very honest and told me I would have more luck selling one of the pieces on my own and even gave me a price recommendation. The second item was a silver bracelet and they gave me a very fair price for it. This was my first time selling jewelry to a gold buyer and I was nervous, but the process was easy and the staff were great!

I had an issue with an order and it took me nearly a year to figure it out. I called them and the owner personally addressed it the next day. You dont get that kind of service from a giant repository, and doing business with someone that you know has a lot of value.

Came in to get some links removed from a few watches. These guys are honest and very helpful. The Little Watch Shop had tried to charge $40 to remove a link that Ace removed for free in a few seconds. Will always bring simple watch repairs back to these guys - very trustworthy.

The Owner is Disrespectful, Unprofessional and Racist. After, a quote was accepted for the jewelry I brought in, the Owner came back with the quoted amount and threw the money on the counter unapologetic. After the money was thrown at me no effort was shown to pick the money up and hand it to me in my hand, he left it there and walked away without any form of regret. The son or grandson stood there in shock and after a moment proceeded to pick the money up after he saw that I was taken aback by what had just taken place, he counted out each bill and handed the quoted amount to me in my hand. If the Owner didnt want to purchase the jewelry he had the option to not offer his services. The way that this transaction was handled was very unprofessional.

This Guy was a complete Douche to me. Because I came in from work and wasnt all dressed up he looked down on me commented to me rudely and told me not to waste his time. He didnt even look at my merchandise he just dismissed me as if I wasnt good enough to possess anything of value.
