A great selection and variety for various ages. The best part is the space and organization of the store, there’s room to move around and explore without being overwhelmed. Staff encourages children to play and try out toys and is very knowledgeable and helpful if you need assistance while shopping.

Toys for every interest! Such a cool place. Convinced my friend to wander around for a bit. Something for every age, passing interests, and inquisitive natures. A great spot to find gifts without a doubt. Nice staff from what I could tell. Clean and well organized. Luckily I told myself it was a window shopping day only or I couldve dropped a heck of a pretty penny in there.

We brought the kids here because they saw it and insisted we come back. Its a good selection of great toys. For Bruder brand trucks they actually have better prices than Amazon/the Big Box stores.

This is my go to place to find birthday gifts. The staff are very helpful in finding the right one on oftentimes limited information (sometimes on age alone), although obviously the more information the better. Weve always been happy with the choices. Its a bonus that they will gift wrap your gift neatly and professionally!

I have had so much fun at this toy store. They really work hard to interact with the community by having contests, read-alouds and so much more! The condition of the toys are always superb. The employees are very kind, and I am actually very good friends with the owner. i hope this store never closes.

This is a very cute store and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was surprised to see all the educational toys and my nephew was excited to see all the Harry Potter LEGO!! Ill be back for those cute plush toys!!

I love this store - I buy a lot of my kids toys and games here because their selection is diverse and fits our interest (fun and challenging, dress-up and STEM, puzzles and reading, etc). In this pandemic, I ordered online - easy and delivery was fast.One of the robotic toys was missing a part (from the manufacturer since the bag was sealed) - I sent an email, and Cliff mailed me the missing part within a week.Needless to say I will keep shopping at FundamentallyToys!

One of the BEST toy shops I have been to - and I have traveled the world and visited many shops.The best part about this store is that they have unique toys, gifts - so if you dont want to gift someone Amazon toys, take a few minutes to visit this store. What I like the most is that you get educational toys for many age groups. Since its not a BIG store, you may not have hundreds of options like other large retailers, but their toys and gifts keep changing and updating.

This is an awesome toy store! I visited this store as part of a Wheres Waldo search for local businesses. I parked in the garage off University. There is quite a large selection of jigsaw puzzles. There are toys for all ages and preferences. They were having a sale in honor of the lunar landing. The staff is wonderful. When I mentioned that I liked jigsaws, he walked me over to the puzzle section and pointed out an unique puzzle that is akin to an escape room. I plan to return for some jigsaw puzzles!

Such a cool place and utter waste of time and money! Its all so cool, and chances are youll end up buying something. They have toys of all different sizes. Some super tiny and some you can put on display. I got a labbit and you will too.. or a robot.

This place is wonderful! They have gifts for all ages of kids. We just went two days before Christmas and it was far from over crowded. They checked us out and wrapped our gifts in minutes. Great place for those last minute gifts.

Nice small shop packed with toys. They have more educational toys rather than action figures and such. Not terribly different from giant chains but still unique. Definitely worth the visit.

Anytime I have a kiddos birthday coming up, I make the trek over to Rice Village to browse their great selection of toys. I find this place to be much more personal that stopping at a larger big-box toy store. This place is locally owned and the people that work there are very helpful and genuinely care about customer service - they are more than happy to offer up suggestions when you tell them who youre shopping for. They also offer free gift wrapping, which is a major plus for me. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to find the perfect gift.

They have a VERY wide selection of toys, books, musical instruments etc. however no help was offered to us the entire time we were there looking. I would suggest to check them out but warn anyone that does to not expect great service!

Cute little toy store in Rice Village. Small, so you might miss it (its on the corner of Rice and Morning Side. Has some brands you will recognize (Lego), but MANY youll have a hard time finding at bigger stores. Virtually everything here is educational.

The toys here are educational as well as fun! My two year old was a bit overwhelmed because of all the selection but that was used as a teaching moment about making decisions.

My family and I visit this store quite often for birthday gifts -- maybe once or twice a month. However, we will not be back. Our last experience there was terrible. The cashier and manager were extremely rude and gave me so much attitude when I asked for a gift receipt to be included on the gifts I purchased. I have seen this poor level of customer service very rarely and never in a kids store. I do not recommend this place.

Selection is good but not very friendly staff. First time when I walked in they looked at me like what are you doing? Then when I asked questions, the staff quickly pointed to me and walked away. I guess she was busy (it was early in the morning) but it was not pleasant.

On our grandsons Christmas list was an almost impossible-to-find toy as the manufacturer had discontinued it. But it did show up on FUNDamentallys website. I was nervous about buying online from an out-of-state toy store but couldn’t find it elsewhere. I called the phone number provided by FUNdamentally Toys’ website. The call was answered promptly and professionally. Yes, they did indeed have the toy in stock. Since I am in Colorado and needed it shipped to South Dakota, I complete the purchase through their easy-to-use online portal with PayPal with a $10 shipping and handling fee. Within 15 minutes after making the purchase, my phone rang. It was the person whom I had spoken to earlier from FUNdamentally Toys. He asked “Was this a gift? Did I want it wrapped? (I had neglected to check that box) Wrapped for birthday, Hanukkah or Christmas?” The gift arrived quickly and wrapped. Great experience with FUNdamentally Toys and I will be a return customer!

Rude. Racist. I could feel the judgment on my back as I walked around the store with my two children. One employee even asked me where the store demo (a little car) near me was, as if I might have stolen it. It was right there so he pretended to show us how it worked. Yes, I am brown and yes this area is very affluent, but that doesnt mean I cant shop at your store.Every time I turned around, all the employees were staring at us and talking with tight lips.We heard about this place through a friend and we were very excited to come.If youre going to profile, at least be subtle about it.
