A local business that offers an amazing array of quality. I searched all over Houston for a quality board, searched all the big fancy stores that led to a tiny house named Quality Games TX. I purchased a wooden travel chess set for $150. The service was easy, the way intellectuals like to shop.

This place is owned by the nicest guy! I came in to buy a chess set, and was amazed at the level of customer service and all around friendliness I was greeted with, both over the phone and in person. 10/10 highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back!

I was looking for a chess board online and came across Quality Games. They were able to ship the chess set to me, which I’m graceful for. It’s all in the name. Quality Games TX is situated in a tiny building in front of a little house off in a distant corner of the Heights. Ring a doorbell for service and they will come out to help you. I was assisted by the owner’s mother and she was completely lovely. I got exactly what I needed for a reasonable price, a warm welcome, and a bidding to return. I definitely will.

I was very surprised with the quality selections Quality Games has. I was looking for a chess set and I definitely got what I was looking for. I bought a 17 board and the pieces are heavy. They look very beautiful together. The King weighs in at 4 tall and 48 grams. The pawns feel heavy too. I am very pleased with this and will enjoy it for years to come. I will definitely be a repeat customer whenever I have any chess needs. The sets also come with extra Queens which is a nice to have, but thats what I wanted. Dont look over this place!!

I was looking for a nice set of weighted chess pieces for playing games found exaxtly what i was looking for. Prices were very reasonable so I bought two sets of Staunton design pieces along with a board. Plan ti buy a set for display in the future

This is a house in a residential area, which should have been my first warning sign. I got there a guy came out and brought me to a room in his house. Looked at his options for chess sets, and they were expensive and similar to what I had seen on Amazon. Well he pulls out a chess set and its marked for $65. I wasnt going to buy it, but he dropped the price down to $45 and since I prefer to help out the local economy I bought it. Got home just now and googled it and on Amazon its selling for $19.99. I figured as much that this place is a scam, but I was in the mood today to not be jaded...AVOID not such great Quality Games Texas!!
