BUYER BEWARE! Do not order anything from this company. I ordered 3 sets of mahogany French doors and a single mahogany door from a salesman named Kenneth Howard for our new house. It took twice as long for them to come in and I cannot fully express how disappointed I am in the quality or lack there of of these doors. Total garbage. First, nowhere on their website does it mention that the doors are not solid mahogany. The door is mostly pine with an extremely thin mahogany veneer glued on. Also, the trim work on the door is sloppy and unprofessional. Instead of properly mitering the trim, they used wood filler to fill in their mistakes and left gaps on others. The caulking on the glass is sloppy as well. Total TRASH product that I refuse to put on our new house. I was finally able to get Kenneth on the phone, as hold times to actually speak to someone here are insane, and I voiced my displeasure with the quality of the product. I have him in a recorded phone call admitting that it should be in the description on their website that these are veneered doors and that he “doesn’t know why that it isn’t on there” Regardless, I was told by him that he couldn’t do anything for me as far as a refund and that I needed to speak to his manager, Chris Champagne. Well I have since wasted many hours of my life on hold waiting to speak to Mr. Champagne and left multiple unreturned voicemails. Totally unprofessional. They don’t deserve to be in business.

I placed an online order 7 weeks ago and still have no ship date.I’ve called several times and the hold time has ranged from 10-45 minutes. The phone reps are nice but never have any info about production or shipping. They tell me they’ll send an email to someone and get back to me with the information I need but I’ve yet to get a return phone call.

Placed my order for a door that was supposed to be kept in stock, after several week I received No calls no Emails nothing I finally reached out to them and waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes they advised me that the door had gone up in price but was still not available and would get a call when it was, waited another week or so then I called again and was advised that after 2 weeks I had lost my money and the order was gonna be cancelled…. I advised the manager that they failed to get in contact with me and he basically told me it was not his problem……. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!!!!!!!

I purchased a special order Door, 2 Side Panels and Transom and was told it would take 8 weeks for delivery. The unit looks amazing and I could not be happier. My contractor painted and made a trim adjustment on the outside to help it blend with my arch entry. I have gotten nothing but compliments. The before and after is astounding.

They had what we wanted at a great price. We actually went to the warehouse and picked it up.

Stay away from this company at all cost, they will make all of the promise to get your business and then you have to wait months to get your order shipped. One of the manager name Chris is a total joke, no professionalism. I ordered 36 doors that are 8 footers from this company on Feb 2 and finally received them mid June when it was promised to be 4-6 weeks to received them. By the time I received the doors 2 were missing and I had to reorder the remaining 2 doors and again a lady name Carole Mays promised that I will receive it in 2-3 weeks and its almost 2 months now I have not received the doors. The excuse is theres a shortage in Freight truck and they are constantly looking for a company to deliver it and finally a manager name Chris called me a few minutes ago just to tell me that Im not going to receive the doors anytime soon and I can get a refund or I can get my own shipping company if I still wants the doors. This company is sham..............Stay away from it.

We ordered an 8 foot interior glass pantry door about 5 weeks ago and it was delivered to our home in Orlando today in perfect condition,even the delivery driver commented on how well it was packed. Id also like to comment on how well Southeastern Freight communicated and coordinated the delivery.

I am upset with myself for not paying attention. The height of the doors were 76”- I had to hear a lot of explaining as to why they were smaller than standard and basically I was wrong- I should have paid attention to the online ad.I just assumed they were standard size and did not double-check… standard heigh for a door is 80”… I feel stupid and duped- I know better…I am used to box stores and supply houses that automatically sell an 80” door unless you state otherwise. Not the case here- I had to re-read the description online and it states the smaller size-Shame on me.Customer service is dismal, looking at reviews- they have had this prob going back to 2011. I could relate to all of the negative feedback. They do not deliver. Stated availability was 3 weeks, the doors weren’t ready for 6 weeks and I had to call and pester for 3 weeks…Underwhelmed with the overall experience and I have decided the savings isn’t worth dealing with this company.

Horrible customer service, I ordered a door online and I had a typo on my phone number. My two other point of contact were correct though. Waited three weeks for my door to be shipped. The door never arrived. After 20 minute of being on hold my call was finally anssered by a person named Carol, she proceeded to tell me because of my typo I would have to pay $300 shipping again. Then says the shipping company stilll has my door and would have storage fees, I agree to pay storage fees since typo was my fault. She says great I call you back. Gave her three days guess who never called me back. I called on a Saturday and apparently no information can be attained on Saturdays. Called back Monday to find out they sold my door to someone else. So now Im out of my $1100 bucks and they got another $800 from some other person.

Very surprised on the price and quality of the doors they sell. Picked up 2 doors today for a client that needed to replaced. Great service. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I will be back! Ask for Luis Jimenez for a great experience.Highly recommend him and Door Clearance Center.

This the place to purchase any door you looking for, they typically have any size and type of door. We been coming here for years and the staff is very friendly and professional. We got help by Oscar today he is always on point and Courteous. We definitely recommend this place.

Worst. Service. Ever. We never even received the door we ordered. 9 weeks after it should have shipped, multiple phone calls, hours and hours on hold, countless empty promises, and an endless supply of buffoonery on the part of staff has us working through a bogus “all sales final” policy. Luckily, a sale has to include the exchange of a commodity and they have at least recognized they have nothing to offer but frustration and disappointed.

I just moved from Texas to Mississippi. I an building a log cabin and wanted to have a little bit of Texas included. I contacted the Center via email and Kerri responded. I have had excellent service and response.. all are very helpful and detail oriented. I was told my order would be delivered in about 4 weeks to 5 weeks. within a week I was called and said my order was being delivered and it would be in state within 3 days and then delivered in 5 days. Well, the very next day my order was delivered to my house. The delivered truck driver was awesome and assisted with the unloading to make sure everything went smoothly. The service of Kerri and the Center has exceeded all expectations. 5 Star service . I have to wait until the builder unpacks them but so fare they look beautiful..just what I wanted. Kerri ROCKS!

Terrible! After two months waiting to receive the, I have to cancel the order because they couldn’t find a carrier to ship the door. Every time that I called the costumer service, I had to wait about 40 minutes for someone to come on the line and usually that person didn’t have a clue about the order so he would transfer me to someone else, another 20 to 25 minutes for waiting. The manager always was with other costumer and never available. So after two month and waisting lots of on the phone with no results, decided to cancel the order and buy the door from Wayfair. In one word, “disaster “.

The door selection is huge. The prices are amazing. The service leaves a lot to be desired though. I walked in and roamed for about 10 min without any employee asking to help or even saying hello. At least 5 workers walked right past me!

Luis, Oscar, and the entire loading team did an excellent job of getting all 13 of our doors loaded up in a thunderstorm! Sales was easy to work with and he was there helping load everything too. Bought a door from them a few years back and we werent able to make it there to pick it up. I was hoping to have a credit there when we went back after a few years time to get another door. They told me it was picked up a few weeks after I placed the order. It wasnt me, I never picked it up, because I lost my job and couldnt finish the renovation we were planning at the time. We did get a door from them this time, because they were the cheapest place in town.

Looking for double French doors for my home office. The doors I have now are 24 inches each. Found the French doors at the Door Clearance store for $99 each, unfinished pine interior wood. Picked up a laundry glass pine interior wood door for $219. Returns are not allowed so know the measurements of the doors you need. Wanted to get a pantry glass pine interior door but they only have 24 inch in stock ... I need a 28 inch door. I could special order it but I live in San Antonio and I do not know when I will be back.

Excellent customer service!! My husband and I work full-time for a large construction company and we were in need of a door for a rush project. The employees at Door Clearance Center went above and beyond to help us pick out a door, and also load it. It was very fast service, and they were extremely hospitable. The quality of the door and lock-set were above our expectations. We will definitely be doing business with this company again.

Perfect! I went inside yesterday afternoon, chose my door, left and called to place my order. Didnt even speak with a sales person while there. I knew what I wanted! When I called payment was mad and we used a contractor they promote within the warehouse. Needless to say, our beautiful door was installed the next day perfectly! We love it!

I shop online regularly but I have to admit I was a bit weary of buying a door online without seeing it or the seller in person. Their price was almost 1/2 of what my local big box store was so something had to be wrong right? Wrong. The door arrived before it was promised and is of excellent quality (solid wood mahagony door with sidelights). I did the install myself which gives you more of an insight into the sturdiness and construction and I was very impressed. My interactions via phone with them were great as well. Crooks/liars!!! I ordered the wrong door size due to bad online advertising. I live out of state and had the door delivered to my house. I called to get a return or replacement. They told me if I buy another door they would return my current one long as I pay delivery fee. Without hesitation I paid for the new door. I was told Id get a call back next day to set up pickup for my current door. 5 days go by no one called. I called them only to be told I should try sell the door locally because carrier could not pick up curbside due to covid. Manager said if I had a commercial dock she could schedule the delivery. She was shocked when I told her I had a dock i could use. Then she made another excuse why they couldnt pick the door up, each time blaming shipping carriers. So I called shipping carriers directly who stated they indeed would pick up my door curbside. All they needed was a request from the door company for pickup.. i informed the manager at door clearence of what I was told and she said they were lying to me. I put the shipping rep and clearence center in direct contact via email and the manager refused to communicate with the carrier rep. Please be AWARE..they will do everything they can to take your money, and ignore you later.

SCAM ARTISTSOrdered a door online. It took two weeks and a few emails before it supposedly was sent. The FEDEX tracking showed it arrive in my area but no one contacted us for delivery. Instead, the package was immediately sent back to them for reasons unknown. I contacted Jonas for a refund and after three emails, havent heard back. When I called the show room, they said they couldnt refund online orders, only Jonas can do it. I told them that he hasnt responded to my emails. Smells like a run around. Will be filing with the BBB if this is not resolved soon.

Wow, Great place great people. Came here because Home Depot didnt have the doors I needed. It as going to cost me close to $900. Thank God I found this place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. I found both doors i was looking for and I only paid $460 for both. Talk about a deal. This would be definitely my first priority for future purchases.

Ive been by this store 3 times. Never once has there been available parking. Not worth the hassle. Id much rather spend a few bucks more and take my business elsewhere. Not worth the risk of driving half way across town when you probably wont even have a place to park.

No good communication or service, they said they had all my doors so I paid in full and they were missing one of my doors and tried to sell me a wrong sided door. They keep giving me the run arounds and it is impossible to get someone to answer a phone and when they do all you here is that they will call you back soon just to get rid of you because I have never received a call from anyone, been two weeks now and my contract has been scheduled for tomorrow. Might just get my money back wish they would communicate but out of all the people sitting around doing nothing you cant get any help at all not even if you finally get someone on the phone after waiting a long time, never again and I will let all my contractors know not to buy there....

I paid in advance on 10/14 for two sets of french doors and was told my doors would be delivered by 11/20 if not sooner - definitely before Thanksgiving. At this point, they are at least two weeks late and no one has any idea when theyll even be built, much less shipped or delivered. When you call, they tell you what they think you want to hear, not what is actual.10/14 - I called them and after we went through all of our options, we specd out the doors and I paid for doors over the phone. he gave me the date of 11/20 and said if not sooner11/9 - I called them to confirm were on target - I was told they would be delivered by 11/2011/16 - I called them to confirm were on target - I was told they would be delivered by the end of the week (11/20)11/20 - They called me to confirm the door sizes ?!?!?! He put the burden on me to find all of our notes from when we ordered the doors to confirm that sizes. He said as soon as you get that to me, they can get started as if it was MY fault. The sizes are LITERALLY on the invoice that he created and sent to me when I ordered. I asked why they have not even been built yet and what the turnaround for that is. He did not know, but I was told that he expects they would be completed in 1 day (I didnt believe him).11/30 - I called them (twice) to ask for status. he has no idea if they are built or when they will ship. he said that no one is responding to him. I asked what we should do? He said that we can wait until they respond, or if I want, I can cancel the order. I told him I would call back in a few hours. When I called back a few hours later, he still had no idea where they are - had no update. He told me to let him continue to work on it and hell get back to me by EOD. (I have no idea what that means - does that mean to continue doing nothing and waiting for someone to respond to him?) I asked will you call me back no matter what at the end of the day? and he said yes. I did not believe him. I never heard back from him.12/1 - I called them to ask for status and why I was not called back. They have no status except for it looks like they are not ready yet. Asked for manager to call me back. No one every called me back.

I special ordered a door with cut glass and they told me 2 weeks. I had a hard time getting through the phone lines but finally found out it was coming in the following week. And it did. After I got this door, one that I had also liked at Home Depot came back in stock and it was $100 more and was going to take 2 weeks. Everyone is slow because of the hurricane. I only gave four stars because DCC needs a new phone system and more people to answer. Its no fun to be number 8 and have to wait 20 minutes. But the door is beautiful and well-made. The manager Chris is very nice and helpful.

Awful service! They tell you to look around on your own when you come in but no associates will help you if you have questions. AFTER you look around on your own you will need to go to the front of the store and stand in line to get help. There are sales people sitting around at desks twiddling there thumbs but they cant assist you unless you are picking up an order. I purchased 2 interiors doors from them a month ago. I was told the order typically takes a week but should only be a few days because of the door type. Im still waiting on those doors. This place is garbage, I award them 1 star and may God have mercy on their pitiful souls.

*Update: 8 weeks later and the company has responded to this review...BUT I still have not heard a word from anyone regarding the door. I canceled through my credit card company. DCC maybe you should be less concerned about responding to bad reviews and fix the problems before they happen!Ordered a door and was charged IN FULL immediately. 6 weeks later still no door and cannot get anyone at the company to return my call, email or text. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Door prices are better than depot/lowes. Once you get a primed door, the prime quality is poor. The primed door had speckled dust while doors were primed at factory and I had to sand down and start over. Costing time and money. The doors ordered included bifold doors and should include the track and screws, yet the track for a 30 inch door comes as a 24 inch rail. Had to go to depot and buy the right size rails and mounting hardware. That negates the cost savings. Save your time and frustration with having to deal with these folks and just order doors from depot/lowes. You can at least talk with someone and not get placed on hold for 40 minutes and again for another half hour. There put together cabinets are very poor quality. Side panels are warped and dont straighten out when its all put together.

My wife and I are building a new home and are at the stage where we need to purchase and install interior doors. We began by looking for a supplier in the Houston area and found that Door Clearance Center had a great selection and is local to our area. My wife chose solid core 3-Panel Craftsmen doors. I called D.C.C. and met with Roberto Hernandez. Roberto helped me size all of the doors and make sure the jambs were the right size and all of the door swings were correct. His attention to detail and follow up was outstanding. When I got the call that my doors were ready for pick up, Roberto was there to greet me, had all of my pick up orders printed, and together we checked the entire order to make sure everything was correct. My experience with Door Clearance Center was very good. The service provided by Roberto Hernandez - STELLAR!

Worst service ever! No one acknowledges your presence as you walk through the store. Stood in line 20 min (in front) and no one acknowledged me or even made eye contact with me. The guy behind the counter only said anything to me after he noticed I was taking pics (to post). I told him this was very poor service and he had just lost a potential customer and hopefully anyone who reads my review. Please be warned NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!

Excellent prices, friendly staff. A big selection of wood, iron, steel and fiberglass doors. Just be aware most of their slab only doors require 2 week shipping. But worth it for the price and selection.

Nice warehouse with a good variety of doors. Service was good and personnel were friendly and very helpful. Store does not deliver in the area or provide installation services. They did recommend an installer. They also provided useful tips if we wanted to install the doors ourselves.

The management there is a joke! This place should be reported to different agencies for fraud! cheap prices for cheaply made chinese doors. al of our doors have issues! jambs are all leaking on exterior doors and our steel door that cost about $5k rusted through the powder coat. The managers response to this was.... I quote! its steel, so its going to rust.. Can you even believe this guy?! Stay away from this place and I suggest everyone write reviews until they are shut down. I am calling all the powers that be to get you shut down you scam artists!!!

Definitely a place to go if you know what you need and know how to install doors etc. Much cheaper in price then big box stores, but no returns. So know what you need. The door I bought was half of hd price but much better quality. Ill be back later for 2 more doors. They were fast friendly and loaded my truck.

The cabinets are all white. They are easy to clean and have a lots of space. I love the mirror door we put in the bathroom. I wish I had heard about this store years ago. Thanks for everything.

Bought a door from this company several years ago.The installer/refinisher did a good job of installing it.After 3 years, the door is the worst looking in the neighborhood.I sent pictures to Discount. NO RESPONSEI MADE VARIOUS ATTEMPTS WITH EDDIE THE INSTALLER/STAINER. NO PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE.I WILL RECOMMEND THAT ALL OF MY CONSTITUENTS BEWARE..HORRIBLE PURCHASE..WASTED MONEY.

I have waited 4 weeks for my door to come in. I have gotten zero updates on where the door even is right now. I dont know if its going to be 1 week, 2 weeks late, etc. If youre a builder, this business model is not going to work on any kind of a schedule. Go to Grogans and get service by somebody that is actually going to even remotely try to locate your door. Ive called 3 times and have yet to receive any help. After posting the negative review, I received a generic please reach out to this management email. NO RESPONSE to their management team. I will post updates as I received them.

Nice selection of doors, sometimes the wait is long. If you buy a door and need it delivered they offer delivery through a vendor but a better option is to rent a uhaul.

Really disappointed.. Husband and I drove 45 min to purchase 5 doors for our home. We walked in and were told to feel free to look around and someone would assist us. We walked in the warehouse a gentleman in a green polo said he would give us a few min and he would check on us. That never happened. We were in there about half an hour and no one assisted us with our purchase. Numerous employees saw us but no one said anything not even when we finally decided to walk out, due to lack of service, did anyone acknowledge or ask us anything or even wish us a good day. Sadly we left without doors and must start shopping around yet again.

Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in the last few years. The representative was obviously not interested in making a sale.I asked her if we could have A Knotty Adler with this frosted glass and this arched window opening?She responded No, if you go on the website you can click on each door and see what you can change...I tried this in a few different ways, but the answer was a very polite No.....If the lady actually did a thing called Customer Service she would have sat my wife and I down at a computer in the store and helped us find the best option available within their parameters.Instead we drove back the 20 plus miles and found a small door dealer in our home town of Katy. We spoke to Ephraim at Katy Door Clearance Center.Ephraim asked us questions, listened to our answers and gave us multiple options.We bought a beautiful front door with installation at a price everyone was happy with....Customer Service... Looking you in the eye, listening, watching body language, selling... Sale made!!!!!

We have had nothing but problems getting our doors that have been ordered over $7000.00 worth of doors we were originally told by the sales man 2 weeks then found out later that 2 weeks was never the plan it was 6 weeks and on the day they were to come in we got the run around from multiple people on multiple calls until we were eventually left on hold now it is the day after and we are getting conflicting information on where they are or when they will be in ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!The doors were ordered through door clearance center and these 2 companies are at the least working together despite the lies told in the response to the other reviews i have had multiple emails and phone calls exchanged with DOOR CLEARANCE CENTER with Doorscapes Inc caller ID and websitesi Also have Had the exact same exchange with over a leaking door and was told the same information as in the other review but my door is a prefinished door i was told it leaks because it was not intended to be placed where i placed it with no overhang to protect it... i purchased the current order because i was told it was from a different manufacturer than my previous door by door clearance center again lies

Just purchased double entry door with skylites from DCC. I had a very pleasant experience throughout the process, and I changed my mind a couple times before finalizing my purchase. I must say Oscar was a polite and extremely knowledgeable professional in every way and walked through the process with me expertly. I would most definitely return, as thus far, I am a truly satisfied customer. I should be receiving my doors within the next month and I truly do expect that the pick up process will be as pleasant as the ordering process.

The employees were extremely helpful and nice. We will definitely be going back there for any other doors we need. Also the prices were very reasonable. Cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes.

Great to work with

Pretty bad customer service. I attempted to get a picture of the actual door itself. Its not possible and is too much information to be asking for over $4k+ door order.Review edit: sent my info over to their management and awaiting a response. Will update when I get some resolution.It has been 3 weeks since I sent the email. Not a response yet.
