Jesse and Jason helped me with a custom engagement ring design that turned out fantastic! Prices were fair and the quality of the custom design was outstanding. I had a complicated design, and I provided my own stones and my own band. They were very accommodating, gave me great advice, and helped me get my design complete! I tried going to different jewelry stores but nobody was willing to work with me (scared by the complex design) or they had outrageous prices. Jason (the jewelrer) was very professional and knowledgeable, with amazing skill that resulted in a beautiful ring. Thanks to him my custom design ended up looking amazing. My girlfriend and fiancee-to-be had the most incredible experience at Tenenbaums. The selection is welcoming to all from modest to extravagant pieces and the staff are even better. From the moment we walked in the door, we didnt feel a single ounce of pressure to buy. The importance of this cannot be overstated because it allowed us, with the assistance of David, to explore all the different varieties and styles of rings until we found the perfect one. David was beyond knowledgeable about diamonds themselves, the brands, the construction, as well as cultural influences and preferences which comes from his depth of experience, not to mention he is friendly and hilarious. Davids last name is Stoneking for gods sake, he was born for this! Even after he helped us to find the most perfect ring, he still encouraged us to shop around at other stores, which to us, made us feel as though he wasnt trying to make a sale but was instead trying to find the perfect ring for us. Not only is the ring special but our experience with Tenenbaums and David Stoneking will leave us with a cherished memory for the rest of our lives. Fast service and professionally done. I have a silver Saint medal that was a gift from my dad and it was looking a little worn and dull. I cannot believe how shiny it is. It looks so new. Even the chain that was a lesser material, I told them not to worry about it, but it came back so clean.I will definitely look to them in the future.Im still so surprised as to how clean they got it. It was so reflective I was almost blinded with it. 10/10 could signal an airplane with it in an emergency.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring here. We went into the store having something in mind and liked the styles that we had seen online. Upon arriving at the store on a busy Saturday, the staff was very accommodating and showed us several options multiple times. After exhausting all the selections in the store the owner Robin suggested the option of designing our own ring, using the different components we liked from several of the rings in the store. With her assistance we were able to design a beautiful custom ring that had all the components we liked. Robin and her staff assisted in the design and they were able to send digital images to my fiance before completion of the ring to ensure it was what we wanted. They were able to rush the ring and have it complete before the Christmas holiday, making it a lovely Christmas surprise. The ring was even more beautiful then we imagined!After receiving the ring we brought it in to get it re-sized down to a smaller size. The staff said that there was a back log of a week, however, they rushed the order and had it ready for pickup the next day!Overall, we had the most pleasant experience at Queen of Heirs. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and pleasant to work with. I will go to Queen of Heirs for all of my jewelry needs and would recommend everyone to visit.

Don’t waste your time. We looked at few nice pieces of jewelry, and the saleswomen strongly encouraged me to sleep on it rather than make the decision right then. So the next day I came back to purchase it when the manager claimed to have lost the very piece we wanted to buy. Lost it, really? They didn’t even try to sell me something different; but they would call me as soon as it turned up. I was later telling this story to a family member, and she said the exact same thing happened to her; the staff had “lost” the piece she wanted to buy too!Two lost pieces in the same small family, this is not a coincidence. Who knows why they would do this? Maybe we are too brown for them, or our cars aren’t shiny or new enough, or maybe I wasn’t wearing my tux that day. The store is located right at the edge of River Oaks so perhaps they are just quietly snobby. Don’t know, don’t care.So if you have the means to buy a nice piece of jewelry without the need for financing or any other complications, don’t waste your time at Tenenbaum. You might not be the right kind of customer either.

Hildi Cabot was the nicest and most helpful person ever. She helped my husband find a beautiful diamond and the customer service DIDNT stop there. She helped size it multiple times and will always let you know if something you like might be in store!! Such a good experience. We keep going back for repairs and other pieces. Never saw a more friendly group of people.

This is a very nice jewelry store they had some Exquisite pieces I brought some of my jewelry and to see if they wanted to purchase and the buyer looked at my jewelry apparently a lot of it was costume vintage jewelry. I was told that one piece had some sterling silver in it and she advised me on cleaning it up so therefore I packed up all my things and she had left the table before I could even pack up my things and came home polished up the one piece and I started doing a little more research on it myself turns out it is a belt buckle from 1930s Holland San Angelo in the belt buckle is worth $1,800 so I dont know what type of things that they do purchase but I felt that that piece could have been a pretty good addition to their store but apparently I may not have been in the upper class.

I have never felt so comfortable with someone as her while helping me to find the perfect ring, I will never go anywhere else! I tell EVERYONE I know about Queen Of Heirs. The absolute best! Beautiful and a wonderful experience just visiting the store! I had my 1920’s engagement ring repaired by them a few times bc it’s very fragile and this last time a piece of the setting came off. They were able to recreate the piece that matches the rest of the setting and I can’t even pick out what part was replaced! The setting is a crown with small diamonds that my big bigger diamond sits into. Thank you so much Tenenbaums!

The quoted time-frame for jewelry repair was not honored for my 3 items. I followed-up rather than customer service being proactive (Laura). My 1st item was not even touched when I came to pick it up, though I was told it was ready. Two of the items were sent to New York to an unknown jeweler with an unknown date of return. I was told they were swamped, to the tune of a 3 week lag-time. I firmly do not recommend them.

My fiancé and I tried most of the local high end jewelry stores when we were shopping for wedding bands. We happened to be driving past Tenebaum and decided to stop in just to see the selection. The store is beautiful and they have the best customer service! Hildi helped us find the perfect wedding band to match my enagament ring. On top of that, when my main stone in my engagement ring was loose (it was purchased from another jewler), I stopped in to see if Tennebaum could help. Hildi recognized me and was able to get the jeweler to fix the setting while I waited!!! She also invited me back before the wedding to get a complimentary cleaning of any pieces I was wearing. Top notch service!!!

They have an amazing website and I just fell in love with a pair of earrings on the site and I live in Nj. She was however on vacation and I dealt with Hilida Cabot such an amazing and knowledgeable person. She surely knows her treasures and was warm a friendly. Had an extremely negative experience last year. They lacked basic customer service and actually threatened me. I would never recommend this place. Robin seemed knowledgable but was extremely passive aggressive once I wasnt satisfied. Another employee Connie was not very knowledgable and had minimal autonomy in the transaction.The beads they placed on my wifes ring for a more secure fit were pointy and uncomfortable and the service was terrible.

Deceptive sales, sold a SUPERGLUED ring and lied about itWhen they closed down their old store they held a store-wide 50%-off sale. Great, right? We found a lovely engagement ring with a central diamond and diamond and ruby accents.It looked a little dirty and my girlfriend asked about some residue she spotted. They told her that it just needed a good cleaning, which they would do.We bought the ring the next day. Once she got it home, she looked more closely and saw that not only had it not been cleaned, but a ruby calibre piece was missing. We didnt have time to sort it out as we were travelling to London. Once there we had it looked at by six jewelers. Four outright refused to take it for repairs because it was in such poor condition. A fifth was willing to look at it and has a name as one of Londons best repairers. We went there wanting a price to find and cut a ruby, and to properly clean it.To our shock they told us that the centre diamond was about to fall out of its collet (setting), and that the residue wasnt a matter of cleaning but was superglue residue.We got a second opinion who agreed that every small diamond and ruby was glued with superglue, that the collet needed repairing, and that two small diamonds were also missing and a third was damaged.I dont mind antique jewelery being damaged, but I do think that should be fully disclosed before the sale. What really gets me is who sells a ring full of superglue and then actively lies about it in the store?! Both London jewelers told us if they had done that, they would be thrown out of their jewelers trade associations. But oh look, Tenenbaum doesnt belong to any. Im sure thats just a coincidence though.We of course contacted Tenenbaum. They were... not helpful. The sales person we reached quickly grew flustered and tried to lie to us (telling us that the ring was 50% off because of these issues - nope, it was a store-wide 50% off sale). Then offered us a partial refund that wasnt even half the cost of the repairs. Then stopped talking to us.We took the matter to one of the owners. They had their own repair person quote on fixing these issues and their quote was within 5% of ours. The owner said if we returned the ring they would repair it at no cost to us. (There was never any admission of superglue or that the ring had been sold deceptively).That sounds like a good answer but when I looked into it I found that the cost to us to send it roundtrip UK to the US, with insurance and all fees wed pay on importing it back into the UK, would be over 50% of what we paid for the ring. That is hardly no cost to us, and I invited the Tenenbaum owner to either cover those shipping costs (obviously absurd), or to pay for us to have the ring repaired in London since they agreed thats what it would cost.They stopped returning emails or calls at that point. Zero contact from then on. I eventually reported the transaction to my bank who after investigating agreed that it was reasonable to contest the credit card charge for the cost of the repairs. Exact words were goods sold not as advertised and goods supplied were defective.However I speculate that Tenebaum have been down this path before. Take a close look at their Terms & Conditions: all sales are as-is.Learn from our mistake. Do not buy from Tenenbaum unless you have the piece examined by an indepedent jeweler under magnification in good light. If anything is not as Tenenbaum claims, or if they lie to you like they lied to us, then you will have no recourse. Apparently this is not technically fraud because those Terms & Conditions mean we agree that we are buying everything as they actually are and not as Tenenbaum claims they are. That means they could sell you a cubic zirconia and tell you that it was a diamond... but if you bought it, you will have agreed that you bought a CZ (as-is) and you will be suckered just as we were.They should be ashamed of themselves to sell superglued jewelery, let alone to lie about it. DO NOT BUY.

My daughter and I wandered in because there was a 50% off sale going on and she found a ring she really loved. After the purchase and going back home she noticed.a couple of problems and took it to a jeweler for a repair appraisal. Not only were a ruby and a few small diamonds missing but the remaining stones appeared to have been glued in and apparently the whole gallery had been crushed at some point in.time. In my opinion a high- end jewelry store should inspect the pieces they take in and make whatever repairs are needed (correctly) or be certain to tell the customer that something is wrong, without the chicken ---- method of a fine print as - is disclosure. Also would not stand behind their product when confronted with the issues. In this business you stand or fall on your reputation, and having read some of the other reviews I hope this store suffers. Certainly not giving them any more business, and I hope that you decide not to do so. If I could have given them no stars I would have done so.

I took my engagement ring in today because the diamond was loose (I did not buy the ring from this jeweler). Within 15 minutes that had it tightened and cleaned. I did not have to make an appointment. I just walked in. The staff was very friendly.
