Well where can I start… It all started back in February when I started to look for my wedding dress; and Estelle Bridal was the very first store I went to try on wedding dresses! I already knew exactly what I wanted for my special day the only problem was they didn’t have a dress similar to what I wanted but Blessing then told me they also do custom dresses and can bring anything to life. I was shocked when she told me that! After going to 2 different bridal stores and leaving the appointments disappointed I didn’t want to look more further because all I could think of was bringing my dress to life! So I made another appointment at Estelle Bridal and we began customizing my dress. And the best thing is it took 3 months for my dress to be ready!My Dress is a dream come true. They went above and beyond my expectations! I was speechless, my heart was beating fast! I was not expecting to cry on my last fitting! I didn’t even want to take it off! I’ll most likely sleep on my wedding dress after the party is over because is THAT beautiful!I want to thank Blessing for helping me out and bringing my dream dress to life. She’s the best consultant there is and really cares about what a bride wants. It’s like she’s the bride that’s working on her own dress, that’s how much she cares and wants everything and every detail to be perfect! I searched for the perfect dress for my daughter’s wedding for months, when I had no luck, someone recommended Estelle Bridal. I simply showed them a picture of what I wanted, they took my measurements and in a few weeks I had the exact dress I dreamed of! These ladies are professional, courteous, and incredibly talented. They exceeded my expectations !!!!

I cannot express enough how awesome my experience was. If you have planned a wedding, you can understand how nerve wrecking it can be but the owner made my experience very pleasant. I first met the ladies of Estelle Bridal at the Bridal Extravaganza in Houston, Texas and Im so glad I did. They did an excellent job listening to the desires I had for my bridesmaids dresses. I want to give a special thank you to Blessing at Estelle Bridal who worked with my girls and I from the very beginning. Even when there were some issues with the fitting (not Estelles fault) of the dresses, and I had to get a new dress made for one of my girls, Blessing helped me to stay calm and get things moving along. The customer service with Estelle from start to finish was exceptional. From handing measurement adjustments, choosing fabric, to the final fitting, I was very pleased with their work and their care and desire to make sure everything went well! Id give them 10 stars if I could. Im still waiting on my professional wedding photos to come in so I can share their work!! Ive been recommending them to my friends! Thank you again Estelle bridal!!

This was the worst bridal experience I’ve had so far. I’ve been shopping around for my wedding dress at several stores and this one was the only one that I was treated so awfully. I was just there today with my mom and the lady working there didn’t even say hello or good morning when we walked in, just told me to fill out the information sheet. She then asked me what kind of dress I was looking for, when I described to her what I’ve been looking for she looked at me with a disgusted face and said “really?! That’s weird”. From that comment I wanted to leave but decided to stay, she then pulled out 2 dresses and was like “okay do you want to try these on or not?” The dresses looked absolutely filthy and were way out of the price range that I had requested. I asked if she had any other options and she said no. So we just left. The location is also horrible. Hidden in the middle of an empty mall and the store is so small. I’d think twice before coming here.

First, the great! I didn’t get a custom wedding dress but I did purchase a dress from a designer they carried. It was exactly what I wanted. I wanted simple, classic and timeless despite feeling like I “should” have something bold, shiny and big. Due to my hesitance about picking such a “plain” dress, I spoke with Estelle’s about creating a custom dress based on that style but adding some embellishments. We went over all the changes and then I tried on the original dress so they could create reference points and take measurements. The owner said “No. This dress is beautiful on you as is.” It was an opportunity for them to make a few hundred more dollars on a custom sale but they suggested I wear the dress just as it was. I appreciated this and the dress was indeed, perfect for my day. See profile pic. :)When it came to my bridesmaids dresses, as stated in a review below, we did not end up wearing the dresses made by Estelle’s. I won’t go into details about my bridesmaids review but I do want to clarify a timeline concern in the response from Estelle’s. Denise was offered a refund because the deadline to remake a dress had passed. The option to remake the dress was not on the table when the refund was offered by Estelle’s, accepted by Denise, and facilitated by me.I was also always in favor of Estelle’s communicating directly with the bridesmaids unless they had difficulty getting in touch with someone. After the deadline to remake the dress passed, I was told that the only options remaining were to bring the dress in for possible alterations or provide a refund. My MOH would relay this information to Denise, however the scheduling of the appointment for alterations or the issuing of the refund should have been between Estelle’s and Denise. I stepped in after I was told there was some confusion about how the dress would get back to Estelle’s for alterations, what alterations would actually be done, and then there was no responses to any communication at all. When I called Estelle’s and asked if they were returning calls/text from Denise I was told that “someone should be.” I only stepped in at that point because no resolution was happening, the business relationship had clearly deteriorated and we were running out of time.I did refund my bridesmaids a portion of their dress cost and pay for some of the new dresses. Because of this I picked up the remaining dresses that were still being altered by Estelle’s. This was an instance when I did experience some disappointment in the bridesmaids dresses. They were delivered, all four, in one Estelle’s garment bag, on various styles of hangers. At this time, Estelle’s was not aware that we would not be wearing the dresses so I am unsure why each bridesmaid wouldn’t have been provided a garment bag. Is it the end of the world? Absolutely not. Is it disappointing when paying a premium for a custom dress vs. a cheaper big box store dress? Yes, it was.There were also several snags (see pics) in the fabric and some discoloration in spots where it appears the fabric had been held in place during alterations. Were the dresses wearable? Sure. For one night, with a photographer taking photos from several feet away, it would have been fine. The dress that had been refunded was on the mannequin in the shop that day and it was beautiful from where I stood. But, should the dresses have just been fine, wearable, etc. No, not really.Note: Estelle did kindly ask me how much I spent to rectify the situation. I did not respond as I felt it was ultimately my decision. They have my Zelle information on file if they feel any additional refunds are warranted and I leave that business decision to them.All of that being said, the ladies at Estelle’s have always been courteous and I wish things had gone differently. I believe most of our issues were the result of some disorganization and perhaps higher expectations. As a black owned business, I truly wish them the best. I hope any criticisms I’ve given aren’t taken harshly but used to improve processes and encourage future success. ❤️

From picking out a custom design all the way to the first fitting, the dynamic duo of this shop made my dress picking process one of the least stressful aspects of planning my wedding. Not only is my gown gorgeous, but the price did not break my bank account. Considering the detail put into my dress, Estelle Bridal was more than fair concerning the price. I found their Instagram and them emailed them to see if the could recreate at a dress I found. They did just if not more! I am from New Jersey and they are based in Houston! We texted an email through the whole process! Even Texas had that crazy storm and loss power for days, they kept me updated.They let me know what measurements they needed. With that my dress fit me like a GLOVE. I am plus size curves and hips and the dress was perfect!The ladies gave us their undivided attention. Made us feel welcome in their shop ! My mother even had a great time showing my aunt and uncle how much she loved my gown!!!Based of the measurements I provided, my dress needs a minor alteration. They had no problem fixing that. So I recommended you pay close attention to those numbers. My dress was completed how I wanted and in the time frame she promised! They kept in my budget.Flo and the rest of the ladies did AMAZING, talented, and professional! With 3 months left for the wedding I can’t wait for my fiancé to see me. For a once in a life time event such as my wedding, everything needs to be perfect or as near to perfect as possible. This includes my wedding gown, my bridesmaids gowns (all 10 of them), and the experience of getting the best fitting wedding gown for my special day. This experience for me at Estelle Bridal was just that. Near PERFECT! From the professionalism of Flo and Blessing at the store, to the constant pampered care i was always given, and did i mention i had 10 bridesmaids!! FIRST OF ALL!!! My experience with Estelle Bridal was absolutelyyyyy amazing!!!! I got married August 14, 2020 and found Estelle Bride about a year and a half before the big day. We have been inseparable ever since!!! I had a custom ball gown for my special day and when I tell you it was EVERYTHING!!! I received so many compliments and working with them was great!!Not to mention they also did my bridesmaids and sister of honor dresses... in total 13 dresses!!! They were great with communication, listening to what I wanted, and patient with my bridal party!!! I am so happy I came across them and got my dress from them. They were literally the best!! The entire team was super kind and caring, they even came to my wedding to help me into my dress and with anything else I needed!!!If you get your dress done here, trust me you will not regret it!!! Please don’t do it yourself. These women were courteous, however they have no idea what they are doing and have terrible communication. They falsely stated they could custom make dresses inspired by high end dresses trending online. Instead, the dresses were ordered and likely made in China. Bridesmaid dress arrived with a tag and in a cheap plastic bag. Not on a hanger. Cheap material and they “made” the wrong dress for me. They would not answer text messages from me and instead communicated with someone else from the bridal party despite paying for the dress myself. I was disappointed and my friend ended up switching dresses entirely for the bridal party mainly due to my dress being unfixable. I really wanted to support them but cannot stand behind them misleading people.

I did not know they made custom dresses, and it took one month exactly to be made. Plus, the price was under my budget. This was perfect for the little time I had. The rush order that I placed on the first dress at the other store did not come in on time (Parvani Vida). The dress was custom made perfectly, and very unique to what I requested. Going to Estelle Bridal was my first time in a bridal shop...ever. After researching what felt like every bridal shop in Houston, I decided that Estelle would be my first stop because I really loved their selection. I made an appointment online. It was super easy to make the appointment. I decided to go by myself. I was running a few minutes late so I called to let the staff know. The staff were so pleasant and understanding. I felt calm immediately. As soon as I got to the shop, I was greeted by this vibrant woman named “Blessing” and oh what a Blessing she was..Blessing was patient, sweet, calming. She helped me look for the dress I had in mind, she helped my try it on (its a beautiful ball gown so it was a whole lot of work) and she even took pictures and video taped every.. single.. detail of the dress.You know how they say that when you find “your dress” you’ll instantly know it’s the one for you? Well, I don’t believe in that.. at all. Except this time, it was absolutely true. I tried the dress on and immediately knew that was my dress. It was fate. I was so excited. Blessing was right there, every step of the way. But she gave me space.. she didn’t overwhelm me at all. She was so detailed with my measurements and contact information. She answered every single question I had... and let me tell you... I had many questions. She gave me an estimate on when I could anticipate that my dress would be ready. And sure enough, my dress was ready even before my anticipation date.Then, COVID-19 happened. And to make matters worse, I was no longer in Houston. I had relocated to the Caribbean. I had already made travel arrangements to go get my dress and I couldn’t go. The mall was closed. So, the bridal shop was closed. And.. I could not take the chance of traveling at the peak of this awful pandemic. On the verge of a panic attack, I called Estelle Bridal and explained my situation... not knowing what to expect.Well...her name is Florence. My guardian angel.The woman I spoke to on the phone was Florence and I’m convinced that she is one of the best staff in the entire Bridal world. Florence not only physically went on an impossible task to get quotes for how much it would cost to ship my dream dress, she did all of this off the clock.And then... the mall was closed. The pandemic had caused closures including the bridal shop. But Florence, being the superwoman that she is, tracked down the mall admin and arranged for the mall security to open the mall so that she could get my dress.. I’m literally so emotional thinking how much Florence went above and beyond for me. I really still can’t believe it. My fiancé was eventually able to go to Houston to pick up my dress so we didn’t need to ship it. Florence made the hand off with my fiancé and made sure to tell him NO PEAKING! lol!When I got my dress and tried it on, it was as beautiful as I remembered.Then, months later, after facing the disappointment of having to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, I received a call.It’s my guardian angel, Florence.. just checking in to see how’s it going and to ensure I was pleased with my gown.Wow. Just wow.When I tell you Estelle Bridal is the BEST at what they do, believe me. These women are truly exceptional. Talk about going above and beyond. The best bridal experience a bride could ever ask for. I’m forever grateful for these beautiful souls. Estelle is truly the best. I met her about a year ago at my friends dress fitting. She was really nice and helpful, I couldnt help but take a card and tell her I was next and would be getting married the following year. Two months after I started dress shopping but couldnt quite find the perfect dress for me. After two stores, my party and I decided to go to her to see what her dresses. Her customer service is excellent, she worked with me to customize my dress tastefully. All the details of the dress and veil. She would go above and beyond to accommodate all preferences. Even with the bridesmaids, she listened and altered their dresses accordingly. She also showed them how to fix my accessories like veil and detachable sleeves. She is apt to respond to her messages and calls. I love love love my dress and I cant wait to wear it next week Saturday. I know I would look gorgeous in it that day. The wedding shouldnt just be about the day but the marriage afterwards but no doubt I would look back at pictures and go down memory lane gushing about how elegant and stunning I looked in my dress.

Not only is she the sweetest person but she always listen and even go the extra mile to make sure everything is taking care of. This is a customer service review. Good businesses protect their customers/clients, don’t share names unless asked, and attempt to rectify the problems consumers have with them. When a specialty business, requiring appointment only bookings, makes a booking mistake they somehow compensate the customer for the inconvenience. Businesses who want to keep high ratings and five star bookings make sure to not respond in snarky and sarcastic manners to consumers. Even more, they make sure to not respond in angst to every comment. You take part in one of the most emotional experiences of a person’s life, maybe being a little more sensitive to them would help. I hope you do better next time around. Also, be like Beyoncé and don’t respond to every negative comment. Take care.

This was the first store I tried any dresses on in and I would like a do over in another store. I shared this was my first time and the owner kind of made a noise like I was wasting her time. I told her what I was looking for and she pulled some pretty dresses. We went back I to the room to try them on and she had me try dresses on OVER top of my clothes. All the dresses I put on have my black shirt under it. The website stated it would be a 90 min appt and I was done in 30...I even tried on 6 dresses in that time. I wont be returning to try any on again.

Worst Customer service I’ve ever seen. She has blamed a potiental client for her short comings. Then emails said customer to report her business is closing and that I say UPS is always hiring sis. Sort some mail, push a cart, anything that would keep the general public from having to put up with your complicit, nasty attitude. Obviously you can’t manage a business or your way out of open ended paper bag. Have a Blessed day 😊

She is the best ever!!! I am based in Atlanta, Georgia. I contacted her on phone and we chatted severally on whatsapp. I never travelled to Houston, meet her in person or go in to the store but when I got my dress delivered, it was perfect. I only needed to make a little adjustment because I had lost so much weight from wedding planning and all. This is hands down the best customer service experience I have had. She was very patient with me and sending me several designs until I was convinced I had the one and even after that, when I changed my mind about wanting a different dress I saw posted on her Instagram page, she was still patient with me.Everyone raved about my dress, I didnt want to take it off and the fact that I didnt pay an arm and leg was an Icing on the cake.Thank you so much Estelle bridal for such a wonderful experience ❤️❤️❤️
