Holy $hit, I didnt know customer service could be so bad! Ordered a part, verified location, drive 2HOURS to get out-Wrong part, despite my referencing their website while on the phone.3 days later, sales tells me multiple partys are located here. Drove 2 more hours(each way), this location doesnt have counter sales!Have been on the phone for 1 hour (sitting in the parking lot) and made 30 calls to Houston retail department. They have never answered the phone. I have to call another department and ask to be transferred, Then...... 3/3 times placed on hold the call hangs up.***UPDATE***One of the local parts experts called me back to help reconcile my order issues. Im upgrading them to 3 stars pending proper part delivery.
You can never get ahold of this location. We have called for two days straight.
I currently work here and I love it!! We always try our best to make customers happy and we work a lot of overtime to ensure we’re doing a great job!! We have a very great team now and I promise we won’t let our customers down!! Love this place!!
Ive been dealing with them for 11 years now. They havent skipped a beat. They are an awesome place to deal with. All the people I dealt with were very nice. A guy passing by was very helpful to the person I was originally talking too. The knowledgeable one was named Jesus (I asked). Wore a beanie cap. Need more employees that are as knowledgeable as him. Good job guys!
Need to get the sales guys some help! I sat on hold for 45 minutes 9-14-2020. And over 10 minutes just now 9-17-2020. We are Calling the dealer for this reman transmission. Note Lost sale.
Bad experience they take almost 10 minutes to answer calls and when they answer they hang up the phone Poor customer service

YOU WILL ALSO LOSE THE LOBBER MONEY YOUR MECHANIC CHARGES YOU TO DO THE WORK TWICEI AM HAVING IT WITH LKQ I RATHER FIND DIFFERENT SOURCE FOR PARTSTO BAD I LIKE MY SALES REPS THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE BUT THE TICS THEY HAVE ARE THE WORST THEY DAMAGE PARTS WHILE PULLING THEM OUT OF CARS AND I DONT BELIEVE THEY TEST PARTS BEFORE SENDING THEM
The parts are for the most part good and so is the warranty. Some of the sales folk need more training and should pay attention to customers so that there is less repetition.
I kinda wish they were open at least on Saturday. And had a sign that showed you the actual entrance. The entrance is so small and tiny its very very easy to pass up every time. A cheap large sign showing the entrance would go a long way. Ill be glad to update my review.

I bought a 2003 dodge 1500 after market tailgate from this location & they claimed DC all internal parts was warranted but I was denied that warranty after a part was broken in the guts & I had taken the tailgate & had it painted to match my truck paint. LKQ told me to get a quote from Dodge on repairing the tailgate, I gave them Dodges quote & they didnt want go cover the cost so I was screwed & out of $900 bucks.
Okay ... Here is the straight and skinny on this place ... The inventory ... Is not stuff that is tagged and on the shelf .. their online inventory means they have a car in the wreaking yard they guess will have the part on it ... It took me 3 days of waiting to be able to go pick it up at their location.. was told there was no core charge, there was... will call is not marked no pickup instructions on their web site ... I understand what another reviewer said... If your not an insurance company or a large shop in Houston these people will be a pain in the arse .. also didnt receive an order number .. lucky I remembered the salespersons name .. The only sign there is said that if you pay cash. For any refunds you will receive a check in the mail in ten days ... They only way to accurately describe these folks is this is a Nationwide Corporation, running junkyards, if you dont run with the big dogs (can make them a lot of cash) Your better off with a small mom and pop junkyard.
I called in for a part I needed for my truck. They were happy to take my credit card to get the part delivered the next day for me to pick up at this location. I called to verify it was available (Its about 1 1/2 round trip for me). The part was in. I get there and it is the wrong part. They were apologetic and ordered me the correct part to pick up the following day. The part did not arrive, nor did it arrive the next day. The CS rep said that the warehouse dropped the ball and they would issue a refund. All in all, a big waste of time. I could have already received a brand new part by ordering online for $30 more. This place is quick to take your money and not deliver what they promise.

I ordered a transmission from here they give me a wrong delivery date 3 times!!!! Now my car is sitting at the shop and I have to pay extra in fees everyday it sits there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE !!!!
Have been doing business with them for 8 years. They used to be helpful and take care of business. In the last year their service has become very very poor. Maybe they are getting too big and cant keep up. Stock is going up, service is going down. I hope they pull it together would like to continue using them.
They answer the phone if you select you are with an insurance company or licensed repair shop but only offer to transfer your call to the parts department that never picks up the call. If you try to reach the parts department directly, by selecting option 3 which identifies you as an individual, then no one ever picks up or returns you call after leaving vm. The companys day to day employee sucks, which usually always means their management sucks as well.
These guys are amazing this is one of the largest most well organized salvage yards in the nation the man who runs it is a genius. He runs it with a iron fist no time, for games just work, happy customers exceptional growth proves it.

I had a great experience with this place prior to them obtaining new staff. Now, its absolutely a headache to deal with. Staff NEVER answer the phone, they always seem to be on lunch break. They dont call when your order arrives at their facility, which most of the time the part is the wrong one. WORST customer service, theyll leave you on hold for over an hour. They suggest its better to stop by to get what you need which is true but they dont take into consideration how far away some people live. Id rather make one trip there to pick up a part, not to see if its available. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place for your part needs.

Terrible service, parts are not available on time. If they deliver they take way too long and quite often get the part wrong. Only good thing is warranty.

Ordered a Complete Panoramic Roof Assembly for our 2007 Ford Edge. And these guys completely dropped the ball. Shipped the part from the North Loop location to the Aldine Westfield store rather than the repair shop. For two days no one could tell us where the part was. When we found out where it was they informed the repair shop they would deliver the part next day. 3 days later the damn roof is still not delivered to the repair shop. 10 days total part still not delivered. And no help getting any answers.

Unless you are an insurance company they have no use for you. They are a bunch of crooks working with crooks (the insurance companies) doing their best to rip off the consumer. In my dealings with them, I would have loved to have been face-to-face with the individual on the other end of the phone. I would have pulled a charge for beating the stupid out of him.
Parts are over price and the owner or regional manager is a bad rep for the company. He drives a black Escalade in the woodlands and cuts every one in the morning on the way to work. Youll identify the truck with his plates. It has the company name right on it. Give him a Texas hello in the morning if you see him

I should of checked their rating before purchasing, purchased a $4500 motor and comes out its bad and now it has to go trough a warranty claim I wonder how long thats going to take

Im putting a two because the first time I called they actually picked up and they had the part I needed and gave me all the information about it. Now I try calling them again and they never pick up and its been going on for weeks. To test It i called them like usual which ended in nothing, then I called pressing 1 as an insurance advisor or whatever and they picked up. They dont care about anything other than that.
Just drove all the way to this location to find a closed to the public sign on the door. Thanks.
