Excellent prices and service but depending on your luck and how many people in front of you it can be a long wait. I was quoted $150 at a mechanic shop to replace the chrome molding trim on windshield. Came here and surprisingly he had spare in stock and changed it out for $30. A bargain and worth the hour wait.

My car was unfortunately broken into at Buffalo Bayou Park (very common beware) and my window was left shattered. I contacted a few places to get it repaired, and decided to go with Universal Windshield Replace because they had my window in stock and could do it for $120 that day. I am very satisfied with the service I received and my new window!!

This is a great shop. I went a couple of weeks ago to get a windshield replaced. I called the day before to ensure they had the windshield I needed. I did not make an appointment but I did go first thing. They had me in and out in about an hour. I think they will come to you if you can not make it to them. They are my go to from now on because if you live in Houston, then it will happen again.

This is the “BEST” glass operation in town! My car was vandalized with multiple windows broken and upon a recommendation called Universal Windshield Replace. Every other company I called were more expensive and it would be a few days before they could get me in. Front windshield of my Audi was broken at noon, called Universal Windshield at 1 oclock, came in for my appointment at 3 oclock, picked up my car at 4 oclock and was fixed for hundreds of dollars less than what was quoted at other professional shops. The location is a bit rough but if you can see past that you will save a lot of money here with great, quick service. Owner speaks English and gave quote over phone.

I am so thankful my brother referred me to this place. Safelite was quoting me $300 for my passenger side window and they dont even tint the glass. At Universal I recieved speedy, great quality window repair and they tinted the glass for only $20 more. I have already referred a couple of people here, and will refer more.

The worst place to take your car for a windshield. Was sold a defective windshield .they said it was the wipers but Ive replaced them with 2 new sets they wont stand behind there product and there employees are imcompataint and cant tell you the truth they blame other things except there windshield.Dont waste your time or money in a place like that
