Great experience from the initial phone conversation to set up my appointment to the scheduling and installation of my window. Technician was very knowledge which was great because I wasnt. He informed me of my choices to help me make the best decision and I am please with the quality of the work performed.

First and foremost, I want to point out 2 things.1. The man that originally came out was very nice and professional.2. I have called this company multiple times and have been left on hold for 20+ minutes and unable to get anyone on the phone.We hired Glass Doctor of Central Houston to repair a broken window at our house. The man came out and measured, didnt have the right size, so we ordered, he came back a couple days later and went to install the window, not sure what happened but the glass actually shattered as he was placing into the frame. I had already paid because I needed to get back to work. He called my husband and told him what happened and that he would need to come back with another replacement. That was the last we heard from them. We have called multiple times and no one ever answers the phone, we just get stuck on hold. Fortunately, today, I got rolled over to a 3rd part customer care line. She took down my info and forwarded it to the main office. I called another location too, to see if they could do anything about it(they answered on the first ring) and unfortunately the they are all independently owned so they couldnt. At this point, I just want a refund so that I can get someone else to fix it. We have had a visibly broken window (in a not so great neighborhood) for almost 2 months now. Will update my review if it gets straightened out, hoping that someone contacts me now that the 3rd party sent over a note!

The guys that came wore very polite they wore booties to cover their boots and face masks they were in and out in under 30 min and left no mess I highly recommend their service

The Tech That Came Out To Fix The Windows On My House Was Very Nice And Helpful. When I Asked Questions Prior To Booking My Appointment The CSR Made Sure Every Question Was Answered. Highly Recommended !!!!!!!!

Called three times to be told someone could call me back to schedule an install on an auto windshield and no ever did.

Tech stated single pane windows were too old to find glass. He never called back to tell me whether he could find glass

Ask for my address to do a free estimate did not help instead came onto the women in the home instead of working on the glass made me feel real uncomfortable in my skin and did not follow up at all with me as a proposing client to fix the window Not on time very unprofessional spoke about marijuana and also remove an item from my home without my knowledge meant......There you have it 100% for service

My grandmother ordered a glass from them and its been almost 2 months and we havent heard from them. Not a good look......

Telling this story in reverse chronology.(chapter four - final)glass doctor of central houston did everything they said they would do ontime or faster and the workmanship is first rate. they did it all with professionalism and a real warmth and friendliness for a very reasonable price. from my first contact with their office on the phone through saying good bye to the craftsman who repaired my window - just a great experience. (read up from the bottom for the whole story in order. but all in all, i cant say enough good things.)(three chapter) guy is in the house right now doing the work. hes great - personable and professional and great with pets and my being a curious pest. hes completely everything you want in a service guy coming into your home. the glass is just in and looks great.(chapter two) the guy who was to come by wednesday at such-and-such a time called to see if he could come a little early! totes unexpected and great. he came in measured the window and confirmed its type and what parts and tools and labor would be required. he told me hed turn all that in and id get a call with the formal bid. i held my breath hoping the price wasnt going to mysteriously jump. But it didnt! the woman from the office called back and confirmed the price would be the same as the estimate had been.(chapter one) ok, this is really early going - but so far, so good. got a return call from them very promptly. the rep on the phone was friendly and very helpful and courteous. while unable to provide an immediate estimate to replace my broken double-pane window on the phone (i only have single pane quotes immediately available, she said), she promised to check into it and call back within 10 minutes. and she totally called back in about FIVE minutes instead! bravo! and the estimate was extremely reasonable. i called mid-afternoon on friday and was mildly disappointed that the next step will be a courtesy visit to confirm the estimate and make a bid to do the work - next wednesday. im not sure, but it sounded like the work will have to be scheduled for yet another time. Only mildly disappointing considering the very reasonable estimate and friendly initial contact. Ill update as things progress.
