Unfortunately had a mishap and so the windshield got cracked and the heat expanded it to where it became no longer repairable and insurance deductible is $1000.I shopped around for quotes and was getting around $260 not including tax. Affordable was able to do it for $205 including tax!! The whole process was pretty stress free they take walk-ins and only had to wait 2-3 hours. Quality work too would definitely recommend!

They would’ve gotten a five star rating but they’ve stopped taking in cars for window repair after 12:00 Noon and I wished they tell their customers that when they call. Lastly they’ve stopped Tinting Windows but when you get there, it’s advertised! SMHBesides that, they get the job done right the first time and I’ve been going to them for years.So before you head out, call first and iron out details or just schedule an appointment. TIME is precious!

Impressed. My brother recommended them. They were quick reliable courteous and they had product on stock. Knowledgeable. Affordable too. And put stickers back on windshield. Only bummer they refused to take payment over phone. But all in all a good place for fixing windshields.

This place is currently a mess, you have to be there before 12 noon and the wait time is 4-5 hours. There is a room to sit which can accommodate only 4 people safely. I have never seen such poor service in my life. In past, the service was professional and quick. It should be renamed as Awaiting Auto GIass instead of Affordable Auto Glass. If you want to save 10 dollars and wait all day for your windshield to be replaced, go for it, the place is for you.

Cannot recommend this place for future service. They’re Unprofessional and have lengthy wait times.I saw in advertisement all the way in a Hitchcock Laundromat (Galveston County). I received an emailed quote for a windshield replacement, the email mentioned a Pasedena location(reasonable distance)I then called to schedule an appointment & was told there is no Pasadena location and they’re only open on Hillcroft (an hour plus drive) and I was misquoted, the cost would be more & I don’t need an appointment just show up they’ll have me “in & out”I happened to need to go to East Houston so I get to the location and while waiting in line the clerks at the desk had a friendly greeting and smile for everyone but me. I was given no opportunity to ask questions as not only did I want my windshield replaced I wanted tint as well. Their poor condescending attitude stopped me from adding on additional services. The wait time would be 3-4 hours for the windshield already.I found it grossly rude that every person in the waiting room, some who were in line behind me, were all approached by various clerks and offered an update on their car, everyone except me. After 3 hours my vehicle was finally moved from where I parked it. At 4 hours I approached the desk for an update.The only reason this place gets a 3 star instead of 1 is the agent who took my payment was professional, courteous and gave me an opportunity to ask questions.They have Reasonable rates compared to other shops but when basic customer service is lacking, I’d rather spend the 15%-20% in savings else where. No thanks

After several times being on hold and called back to look in their inventory for what was needed he told my husband they have it and to come in Monday before 8am as they are busy. First come first serve. I arrived on time to find out they didnt have windshield in stock and cant get in until middle of August. Upsetting because I had 1.5hr drive into Houston.

Got a quote. Said appointments arent necessary. Walk-in and they said they stopped taking walk-ins at 1PM. Wouldve been nice to know before driving accross town. Will use competitors from now on even if it costs a little more.

I got a great price on a windshield for a friends Lexus, my next door neighbor has been using them for at least 20 years so hes the one who sent me there and Im very happy with their work.

Called before going to the place, got a price and was told that the windshield for my vehicle was available. Get there and was told they didnt have it. Wasted an hour and a half trip there and back home. To save $30 on a windshield, my time is way more per hour than that. If a place is going to have employees like that is not worth my time or money. Araged for another company closer to home to take care of it.

I have used this place in the past for glass replacement and tint and decided to use them again to get tint on my work truck. There was a small tear in one area of tint, bubbles on 3 windows and I can see where the window wasnt cleaned well before tint was placed on. I was told it has a warranty and could bring my vehicle back but its still an inconvenience. I expect the warranty to cover tint issues down the road not the 1st week. Im giving them 2 starsbecause the price is good.

Utterly disappointed in Affordable Auto Glass. This establishment is completely dishonest and has absolutely outrageous customer service. Please avoid Affordable Auto Glass at all costs.I got my windshield replaced here a couple of months ago after a recommendation from a colleague at work. I called and communicated by email - it was clear that I had lane departure sensors in the windshield (emails from Affordable Auto Glass confirming this also). A few days after the replacement, a sensor warning light came up on my dashboard. I took it to the car maker’s garage (as I didn’t think it was associated with the windshield). They tried twice (at additional cost) to remedy the issue but said the windshield was poor quality and the curvature was wrong so it was blocking the sensors (essentially a safety hazard). I called Affordable Auto Glass to determine a solution - the person I spoke to was extremely aggressive, he got very heated and borderline abusive so it was clear that the conversation was going nowhere. I called back a couple of days later and spoke to someone who appeared to be more professional (Hugo). Hugo reassured me that a more expensive windshield could be installed (if I paid the difference with the one installed) and this would rectify the sensor issue. Took the car and and got the windshield replaced and am left with the same sensor warning. And then what tops it off is that Hugo like this was what was agreed (i.e. let’s replace the windshield and maintain the same issue!!!??). I am shocked by the way he behaved which is frankly unethical. I’ve had to rate this establishment 1/5 but it deserves ZERO. Affordable Auto Glass are dishonest and deceptive - please take your business elsewhere (protect your cars!) and avoid the wasted time and money and awful service with rude employees.

When they say theyre specialty is glass replacement they are not lying. I was able to get my glass replaced in less than 2 hours and it only cost me $150 when the insurance company wanted $375.. thank you affordable Glass and I hope you stay there forever.

I went to this place with 2 of my vehicles, a Porsche Cayenne and a Ford Mustang Convertible, a little hesitant since I was not sure if they were going to meet my expectations. Celeste (the girl at the front desk) was very friendly and took both of my orders. Since my purchase was guaranteed and I was not very happy with the sensors of one of the glasses, I went back for replacement.The manager told me that if I was not happy, I can just get a refund of my money so I can go to the dealer and replace it there I thought this was rude since Customer Service should be a matter of finding a way to fix it, not just, heres your money, go somewhere else. So, long story short, one of the representatives that are at the front desk (Hector Barrera) heard the situation and took the initiative of handling my case.Hector went an extra step to the warehouse and found a glass replacement to fit my vehicle. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAKING CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS AND NOT GETTING RID OF THEM. Affordable Auto Glass should hire more PROBLEM SOLVERS like him. If you need your window fixed this is the place to go!!! They broke my window on Tuesday night I was there first thing in the morning on Wednesday and it took them an hour max to fix my window! Get there early though because it gets packed super fast. Staff is super friendly and are super helpful with whatever questions you have and trying to fix the problem you have.

I wanted to give a big thank you to these workers! I was not over charged for being a woman like the 10 other different places I called.I was charged fairly for a replacement passenger rear window on my 2020 Chevrolet Trax.The window was only 65$ and it looks exactly Like my other window too. So many other places were trying to make me pay 240-390$ just for a replacement window with labor costs. I only paid 146$ including labor, glass and flat rate of coming to my job.I have saved this number and will pass on this fantastic business to who ever is in need.

Replaced both of our car’s windshield here, their price is fair so they’re quite busy. Make sure to come early and be prepared to wait at least an hour. You can also call to get quotes prior to drop off your car which is a plus.They were able to peal off the Eztag sticker without damaging it, save me from having to replace it.

Need a window or windshield replaced? Dont go through insurance! Affordable Auto Glass was 5 times faster and 3 times less expensive than Safe Lite. The gave me a quote over the phone, got me checked in in less than 5 minutes and had my tinted window replaced in less than an hour. It’s quite straight forward. They quote you a price for the windshield replacement and you either say yes or no. There were no extra charges and it was done in about 45 minutes. The waiting area is lacking but good thing we have cell phones to pass time. My vehicle does seem to allow more noise to pass through so I think it may be due to a non-OEM glass replacement. I would have liked to know more about the glass being used but should have asked before committing.

Visited their office on Hilcroft near Harwin yesterday and saved about $35 from having it done at my location. I am incredibly happy with their service and price on an older Honda Odyssey Windshield. It took less than two hours. Pro Tip: When you have a windshield replaced, they suggest no car wash for two days and to leave the blue masking tape on the windshield this to give time for the adhesive to bond.

I came o replace the quarter glass of my car, they replaced it but before I had to used tape to cover the window. When I asked them why they didn’t even bother take the black tape I had to used before, the answer was: “it fakes time we don’t do it here, you can do it by yourself”. If I can do it by myself why they didn’t even helped me with that paying for it.It is this normal or in any auto glass replacement they do the same?

Rating is only for the fast service and the affordable price!The staff on the other with an exception to the lady who completed my payment, were all dry and unpleasant. I called earlier in the day for mobile service, and the gentleman who answered the call was very rude and unpleasant. I am sure he has to converse with a wide variety of people however, he should show appreciation when someone is being nice, or asking how his day is going.Being an all around good person is rare, especially in the customer service industry. The staff could not appreciate this which was a major fail on their part.All in all, this is current Customer service industry. Once I arrived, I noticed customer service is not their top priority. Making money, and getting people in and out is. This is good on one side, but on the other not so good.SN: They did not put my door back together properly and the glass appears crooked. Thankfully, the areas on the door could be corrected using a little elbow grease. The crooked glass, Ill deal with it for now.

Took our vehicle today to get our windshield replaced and after we paid, the rep stated that the the calibration sensor was on and was told that it will go away if we drive on the highway for about an hour. We called back and spoke with another rep to tell them our concerns since we drove for an hour on the highway to get home and the sensor is still on. The rep stated that he never heard of that. He didnt ask for our name to look up the information of our service nor talk to or transfer us to speak to our rep. He didnt offer any resolution after not informing me as the customer of any risk! Price was fair and fast service, but its not worth it if you have to takd your car somewhere else for recalibration and pay an additional $300.

A Super Great Glass Company, with Super Great Employees...

Had my windshield replaced here sometime in early 2017. Cheap but disappointing. You get what you pay for. They somehow forgot to tint one of the rear windows I had asked them handle. They also forgot to remove my dash cam mount from the glass that was being replaced. Neither was a big deal on its own, but added at least half an hour to my wait, and was indicative of the work being performed.Fast forward two years. My rear-view mirror is coming unglued. I realized while repairing it myself that they had applied a large amount of adhesive glue to the rain/light sensor. I had wondered why it didnt quite work right after having the windshield replaced. Thankful they didnt straight up ruin it. Next time, Ill take my car to someone who knows what theyre doing.

This place used to be good. We have been sending all our cars here for couple of years. We wanted our 2018 Honda Pilot third row seat stationery glass changed. They didnt have it so we got it from the dealership and I called a day prior to get an estimate and they quoted us $60 to get our glass installed. Went today and front desk representative (Edgar) was extremely unprofessional. He was rude from the outset. He saw the glass and was like Im not sure if it can be $60 and I think it is about $85. I told them I received a specific quote over the phone and the manger steps in and raises it to $100. So basically one person over the phone said 60 to get me in the door. The rep and manager contradict each other. Then the rep has the audacity to lie and said I never said 85. I think it was that much. What an irresponsible way to address a customer. I rather pay more somewhere else. They have no respect for customers. Edgar in Particular needs to be fired for bad attitude.

Do not go here, it’s not worth it. My husband and I went there this past 07/31 to replace the back glass of our car, they said it was going to be ready in 2 hrs and when he went back to pick the car up it wasn’t ready, they haven’t even started working on it. It took them a little over 4 hrs to finish it but that’s not the worst part. The next day on 08/01 we were driving on the freeway (about 25 hrs after they changed it) and the glass EXPLODED, it shattered completely out nowhere... we didn’t wash or wet the car (as they instructed) and the blue tape they put in there was still there because they said to leave it on for two days and still, the glass broke again. Our guess was that something had gone wrong during the installation but we couldn’t take it to be repaired again on that same day because they were already closed, we couldn’t take on Sunday 08/02 because they don’t open Sundays so we waited until today, Monday 08/03 to take it. We we’re confident that they were going yo fix THEIR mistake because the job had a 90 day warranty, or at least that’s what they claim on the back of their receipt... that’s all a lie, if something happens to the glass due to a poor installation they will not honor that warranty so be ware of this before you go there. They basically said that since they don’t know how that had happened (me neither, I don’t change glasses for a living, BUT THEY DO) they could not replace it for free, because all they had was my husband’s word and that wasn’t enough. We initially had payed 170 dlls for the job, and we had to pay another 120 dlls today to get it fixed that’s 290 dlls in total. We obviously didn’t want to get it fixed in there again but we had no choice. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.08/18/20 I’m editing this in response to the owner’s comment on my review, because I don’t know how to answer back directly on their posting.
