Recently out of stock of what I wanted to purchase do to weather conditions. Friendly workers and quick and convenient purchase.

Store is kept clean and most cashiers are friendly. I do notice they pull sale items a lot and stash in back. But beside that this is a good store

I have to say the manager at this store Lisa is an Angel! My family and I live close and shop here often, it’s always a pleasant experience. We actually come in almost daily! Back to Miss Lisa, a couple of months ago my elderly Mother picked up an iron skillet full of bacon grease and dropped it. It covered one of her hands and she slipped and fell into some of it as well. I took my Mom got her settled in for her emergency care, made sure she would be ok without me for a little bit. The kitchen floor was covered in grease which I knew she would fall in again as soon as I brought her home. So with that being said I ran to the Dollar General to get mops, degreaser, Lysol spray,Clorox wipes and anything else I could think of to keep down infection and get that floor degreased. I ran through the door I’m sure looking like a panicked child and Miss Lisa was standing at the register, I quickly told her what had happened and that I needed to hurry to get back to Mom. With the ok from the few customers in line Miss Lisa came running to my rescue helping me grab my items and ran to the back to get more mops that had just arrived. Didn’t take us long and she got me checked out and out of there in no time. I ran the items to my Moms where my brother was waiting to clean the floors. Got back to my Mom quicker than I could have ever done without Lisa’s help. Lisa if you get to see this (I know I’ve told you in person but thought this would be appropriate as well) THANK YOU! I have never had service like that in my life and will forever be grateful that you sprang into action so I could get back to Mom! You are an Angel! THANK YOU AGAIN! 5 stars for this store for sure!

Dollar General needs to stop trying to be like Lowes and Walmart! With that comment Im meaning...moving EVERYTHING AROUND ON A WHIM! Fook me 20 minutes to find underarm deodorant.The staff is super friendly though...and very helpful. However, with two registers, theres only one cashier. So if theres some other people in there...dont hold your breath for help.

I have been to this particular Dollar General many times..(Albert Pike location)have preferred it over others in this area,with everything that is going on in our state right now I would have hoped that the employees would at least have had on mask and show some form of sanitizing but..nothing was evident..probably will find another store in different areas of town.

The manager followed me all over the store I had over 50.00$ of items in my buggy I think she thought I was stealing I left my buggy and exited the store I will not tolerate her rude treatment she needs to be fired I didnt buy anything and will never shop there again!!!

Convenient location. Exactly what you would expect from a dollar general. For example, where else can you buy garden clippers and a bra in the same aisle?

I wish the store wasnt so crowded, stock is always out on carts to be put away making it hard to get around and some of the cashier need to be a bit more friendly.
