My experience with Stroope Tire has been awesome!! A number of times I have needed them and they are quick, dependable, very reasonable and honest. While I am tired of companies with poor service and false promises this company is a pleasure to do business with!!!!

I spotted a nail in my tire this morning and was able to get it addressed quickly here. Turns out the nail didn’t damage my tire at all and they didn’t charge me a dime for removing it and checking it out! They were so nice and helpful - highly recommend!

This is the nicest bunch of folks. We got right in and got our tires in no time at all. Our experience with them is always a good experience.We got a flat tire today, and they fixed it right away.

The guys here were good to me and helped me out a lot. I got new tires up front and used in the back and other than the wait to get them every thing was smooth. The guy that runs the place is sweet and he doesnt take advantage because you are a woman. I wish the prices were a tad bit lower the only reason why I took off a star but they were still ok in my book.

We were in town from Texas when we visited Stroope. At first glance everyone was very helpful and nice.I was told I needed two new brake pads on the rear and I had them go ahead with the repair.When I went to pick the truck up it was parked in the back parking lot backed into the space. I left and proceeded to my in-laws house..on the way, I noticed the truck wobbled a little when the break was pressed. I got back and went to get my husband to test drive it to check the wobble. As I got out, I saw a large scratch and dent in the back of the tail gate. ( I am POSITIVE wasnt there before)We called Stroope and they were already closed (Saturday).Monday morning (on our way back to Texas) we called...the manager immediately cut my husband off when he started to explain what had happened. He didnt even ask what truck we had or anything...he just responded with it didnt happen here!. He didnt even want to hear us out about the wobble or anything...After debating it over, I called back. I was sure to speak in a very respectable way. I made sure not to accuse, I told him I just wanted to clarify what happened and if the vehicle was driven or what...I was not only yelled at, I was cursed at! I continued to explain that I just wanted clarification and that I wasnt accusing him of anything..I was asked, dont you have insurance?. I was spoken to so disrespectfully that I finally had to hang up.Then, he had the nerve to call me back to continue his ranting about his establishment being honest etc etc….finally I hung up again.Today, I got the truck in the shop to have the brakes checked again. The bill was $450. The pads had not been installed properly at Stroope, the roters had not been rotated or machined, and the parking brake was worn out (obviously they didnt check that).The quote for the repair of my tailgate is $360.I would never wish the bad experience I had at Stroope on anyone. Not sure if I was taken advantage of cause I had Texas plates and they knew I couldnt return, because I am female, or just what.Break Pads $110Second Break Repair $450Tailgate Repair $360Saving just one person from using Stroope Tire...Priceless!

Have enjoyed the great service at Stroope Tire for over a decade now. Wouldnt take my car anywhere else for tires, brakes, any underbody work. Stroope does fine work, stands by what they do and wont take you for a financial ride doing stuff you dont need done. Trustworthy family owned business!

I purchased 2used tires for my wifes car. They put the wrong size tire on her car and told her that it would work. When I looked at the tires there was a knot on the side of one of them. And before she could take it back to them it blew out. They refused replace the tire.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! We chose this place based on reviews. We are from out of state and needed a tire repaired through our roadside insurance. We were told over the phone that it shouldnt be a problem to call insurance before proceeding with the repair. We did not take down the name of the person we talked to the first time.When we arrived, the man was very rude, made us call insurance and when the insurance representative asked to speak with him, he became belligerent and only wanted our credit card number and hung up on the representative. My husband reminded him that whoever we had talked to earlier (and who had verbally given us the address to this place) said it would not be a problem. This man said it couldnt possibly have been this store and since we didnt talk to him personally, then we were lying. It was clear at this point that he was not going to be easy to work with so we said nevermind and proceeded to leave. I want to make it clear that although we were frustrated, we did not act ugly to this man. He walked out to the truck with my husband and as my husband was getting in the truck and had shut the door, the man was yelling and opened my husbands truck door. My kids were in the truck as this was happening. Yes, my husband told him to get away and it wasnt pretty at that point. No physical contact was made by either party. It was confusing and scary though. Luckily my husband was able to shut the door again and drive away safely. We did not get this mans name either as it all happened so fast.We went to Hot Springs Tire instead. They were awesome! Go there instead.

Our family has used Stroope Tire for the last ten years on many of our automotive needs, including tires, brakes, alignments and other miscellaneous repair issues. Theyve even installed my boat trailer wheels and tires. On my last visit, I had a dealer price comparison and Stroope Tire was considerabley less and did a quality repair job. I wouldnt think of taking our vehicles anywhere else here in Hot Springs, always a great experience!

Always helpful and always friendly. Worked me in immediately and fix my tire and I was on my way simple Tire plug anybody could have done and I have used other places most of them I can also say in this area or four to five stars we dont have bad tire shops the only difference is is some of the others have protracted wait periods but they do good work. Stroope put me on the table immediately and I have my car fixed immediately I was on the road and back to business within 15 minutes thats great service at a great price $14 for a simple procedure. Have bought tires in the past they are well priced I cant remember what I paid but it was well within reason and just like before I had zero wait time. Four brand new tires installed obviously it took more than 15 minutes but it was done very quickly and I was on the road with a new set of tires. I have used what I consider all three major tire companies in Hot Springs and they all are fantastic Stroope is a family-owned business. American Tire and will if you want your racing needs handle or your daily needs. And the tire shop out on 270 West owned by Tony is grateful for any normal person the only thing you have might have to wait a little bit there but thats because they have fantastic service and reasonable prices you cant go wrong and hot springs if you have a tire problem.

Chad was such a gentleman. I called to see how long it would take to fix 2 tires. I only had my lunch hour to get it done. Chad said, Come on down. Well get you right in. When I arrived there were other cars starting to show up. Chad waved me in, he realized I was the girl who had just called. True to his work, I was done and back to work within 20 minutes! Love this place!

They have been there for as long as I can remember, and that says a lot. It is a decent tire shop, but it can be kind of difficult to get back on to Ouachita- depending on traffic.In my opinion, they are a little more expensive than most place in Hot Springs, but they have just about any sized tire you need.Im not positive, but I believe they are also a full service shop- oil changes and such.

There is very few good tire/alignment shops here in Hot Springs, so I personally recommend and trust in Stroope Tire. Thanks once again!

Nice guys, decent price, decent used tires but none of my tires had the stem caps when I got it back didnt notice until I got home because it was raining when I got my car back. If I hadnt had to buy new stem caps because of them it would have been 5 stars.

When I move to a new place I make sure to check out family owned places first, and I dont always expect the fastest service or cheapest price; I expect quality. Went in for an oil change & alignment, and i wasnt asked what oil i preferred, the total was more than quoted, and if youre going to align the tires; why the hell wouldnt you rotate them while theyre off when its obvious as hell it needs to happen.

Keep away from this place. They scratched my wheels so bad that they can not be fixed while they were installing tires. I made the mistake of not checking mw wheels before I left. Their building is so dark inside you would need a flashlight to check your wheels. I only went there because they were cheap. Spend the extra money and go to a good tire shop. My wheels have deep scrapes that can not be fixed.

I have given stroope Tire multiple months to make things right after one spending $300 the month before getting my brake pads changed and to calling and speaking with the supposed owner being told that there was no way that my brakes would be doing the things that they were doing yet I go to replace them elsewhere and this is what I pull off of my vehicle a bright pad that hasnt clearly been changed in years I dont drive my vehicle that much and I know darn good and well that this is way more than 3 months of wear on brake pads I was stuck replacing my rotor brake pads caliper and all the brake assembly after almost wrecking my vehicle to try to break less than 3 months after going to pay $120 to get my brake pads fixed at that time I had been told that I didnt need any rotor replacement it would buff out as soon as the new brake pads started wearing themselves away from being new I was willing to pay extra $80 to get my rotor replaced and then I call them today this morning at 12:30 and spoke to a lovely family and children that have been riding in my vehicle that could have been harmed had they been in the vehicle with me when it wouldnt stop then get told the manager would call me back once he returned from lunch at 3:30 I call them back and ask to speak with the manager or the owner and I get told hes not here he wont be back in until Monday how can he help me this other gentleman whose name Im not sure cuz he didnt even answer the phone with a proper greeting so that I could know who to report but I tell him unless you can refund me the money that I spent on brake pads that will never change and the labor he said whoa whoa whoa hold on put me on hold for a moment picked up the phone again and then stated in the rudest most disrespectful voice so you are accusing us of not changing your brake pads and I said yes sir that is what I am saying he then begins to yell when I start to explain the situation for the third time and tells me that I need to shut up and listen to him needless to say I flew off the handle Ive not only had a vehicle that I am making payments on paying full coverage insurance on but also have just spent a hundred more dollars to replace brake pads along with a new rotor for the vehicle and now Im being yelled at and told that I havent given him the chance to make it right when I State yes I did he tells me know you didnt just like a kindergartener no this is not customer service after being told that I didnt give them a chance I was then asked in a very odd way had I kept the receipt as if I am a poor deadbeat who doesnt have the common intelligence to keep my receipt wow go degrade someone else. I then said yes of course I have my receipt and he stated maam you just need to bring your receipt in here and let me fix it when I stated that I dont want them touching my vehicle for fear of my own life and safety I was then hung up on WOW stroope Tire you have done a lot of business with my family and a lot of business with my in-laws and the audacity that it takes for someone to be so rude degrading and almost belittling is beneath you if are running a business especially a business that has the chance of taking someone elses life or putting them In harms way you had better step up your game this is absurd and all that I wanted was not free car work Ive already had to pay for it twice all I wanted was to be heard and to be offered at least an apology.

American Tire & Wheel charged me $21.78 to have 4 tires topped off with nitrogen. Sounded a little expensive the more I thought about it, so called Stroupe Tire. They offered to top off the tires at no charge even though I did not purchase the tires from them. That’s people taking care of people!

Charged way to much for a used tire. An tried to fix problem an was given another problem an still not 100^ satisfied will never go there again.

I have taken my vehicles to Stroopes for the last 20 years and have never had an issue with workmanship or rudeness. Being a woman and explaining what I wanted or needed has never been a problem. I explain I need to be able to take the tire off myself if I have a flat and they do not tork the lugnuts down so I cant change them, which I have had happen elsewhere.The only place to go for front end alignments as far as I am concerned. Only ones to touch my vehicle for this.
