Customer service was excellent in this very small store. The employees are knowledgable and very kind. They are quick to help as well. This store is very small though, and caters towards tourists (typical for this location). The pricing is high due to the location and a wider-selection with lower prices can be found at more local-based music stores. Overall a great place to stop if you are here for a visit.

They have really great customer service! Now the map is tricky, just get straight to Sheraton Hotel and the store is on your right. All of the staff are kind and helpful. Remember to lose your strings before the flight, then tune them back after you get back. I got Kala ukulele which sounds amazing, hope you choose something for yourself there! ❤

Extremely acknowledgable ukulele store, they were so friendly and helpful with helping me find the ukulele that I wanted. After I bought i even got a free lesson on how to play it so that was even more awesome. Definitely recommend this place if youre looking for a ukulele their price ranges from $50 up to several thousand for the hawaiian made pieces.

Ukulele lesson from Ka’ili goes beyond my expectation. He is so humorous and knowledgeable. Spoiler: he also teaches Hawaiian language, which is as fun as the Ukulele part.

Very cool Ukelele store inside the Sheraton Waikiki. This place offers free Ukelele Lessons daily at 4:00 PM. Danny the owner is a really nice guy and could help you find your first Ukelele to purchase and bring some Hawaiian tunes back home!

If youre not staying in the Sheraton, it is hard to find using google maps. The shop has a decent selection of Ukuleles. You can buy those that are merely decoration, but also handcrafted Hawaiian made instruments. A real nice girl took great care of us. She knew what she was saying, was very honest and had a good sense of what I wanted. I left the store with a wonderful 200$ instrument.

Located inside the Sheraton hotel. This is probably the biggest ukulele store in Waikiki (but there are bigger ones elsewhere on the island). They have a nice selection of instruments ranging from beginner level to professional quality.

The girl was nice and helpful. The other guy absolutely indifferent to the customer. Decent choice of ukuleles but they are not knowledgeable - or at least not willing to help you.

The staff are knowlegable and helpful, but the location is small and it’s difficult to move around if you have extra bags or you’re not going in by yourself. The shop is just within the entrance of the Sheraton hotel and it’s a busy area, making it tough to hear the ukes as you play them. (This is a big minus if you’re planning to drop $1k or more on an instrument.)I must also relate a particularly bad experience I had. When I visited the store around 5pm on a Monday evening, there was a Japanese television production taking place in the store and I couldn’t get in. This was inconvenient for me as I had visited the store the previous day to look at their instruments and I was returning to make my purchase.It must be said that there was no signage to indicate the temporary closure during the production, and there was no sign or notice on the previous day when I first visited. (I would have planned accordingly with proper notice.) I would have walked right in, but one of the TV handlers stopped me at the door. I don’t know how long the store was closed, but I was outside at least 10 minutes before I asked the handler and he expected the production to take an additional hour or more.If you shop here I’d recommend checking The Ukulele Store nearby as well. They have almost as much selection (probably 85 or 90% as many instruments) and they carry other items. There’s space to move around and sit if you like, and best of all it’s q-u-i-e-t. You can really hear the ukes when you play them.

This shop offers many high end ukuleles, but also a daily free lesson (three cords and three basic songs) in both English and Japanese.

Fantastic place to buy a uke. Wonderful selection of ukuleles and accessories. What I enjoyed most was the enjoyable, friendly, aloha atmosphere. The gentleman was very patient and knowledgeable. Very pleased with my experience and purchase of an authentic Hawaiian made uke. Please also note the store has a wonderful selection of ukes for the beginner to the working professional to the collector. Dont let the pretentious surroundings of Waikiki deter you from making a visit. There truly is something here for everyone!

After a factory tour at the Kamaka headquarters, the office looked for a store with Kamaka stock and visited Mr. Puapua.I wanted Kamakas soprano, but I was lucky enough to have a standard pineapple, its DX model and four in stock. The stores older brother was also a kind person, and I was able to compare and play four of them at random. I played four of them with my brother for a while and compared them, and I selected the pineapple DX, which has a good sound. Returning to Japan, playing happily while remembering Hawaii.

The attitude of the clerk is worst. Lowering Waikikis hospitality.If you dont want your customers to come, youll have a young Japanese-speaking clerk and a local clerk that you think you should declare.
