Thank you for the competent and professional service. I am 76 years old and wasn’t sure I needed a hearing aid. Your testing confirmed my hearing was still in the normal range and I was told that I didn’t need a hearing aid at this time. The honesty was appreciated and I will certainly return when I’m in need of a hearing aid. I can honestly recommend Family Hearing Center to anyone thinking of getting a hearing aid.

So far things are going great. After an initial consultation with Wes Nakamura, I have now been fitted with custom hearing aids and all of a sudden, the world is full of sound again. Ill be going back for fine-tuning and getting the most from the awesome technology. Very happy with results so far.

Dr Wes is the beat with his caring and prompt service! Everyone is friendly and everything is so clean with lots of sanitizer and temperature checks. They handle all heating devices with sterile gloves. Very health conscience office… just love it.

My mom is 95. Dr Wes Nakamura spent his time explaining what he was going to do, what to expect, what she needed to do, and why this is being done for all the tests that was given to get a complete assessment of her hearing. He was patient, deliberate, with attention to detail, sensitivity for her age and her limited use of her left arm. He was very considerate and patient centered to her comfort and addressed her anxiety. His recommendation was on point and addressed her hearing challenge based on improving her quality of life by recommending the use of a non-surgical implanted hearing aid. He also submitted a request for a caption phone to improve her difficulty on hearing phone conversations. We recommend Dr Wes services as well as the staff of Family Hearing Aid Center.

Another great scheduled appointment. As always, friendly visit and feeling very welcomed. Hearing has improved a lot, since I got my hearing aids a couple of months ago. I can hear my car turn signals as I heard it as a young man, plus the wind and leave noises blowing by, strange at first, but know the little things I have missed. Being so stubborn, if it wasn’t for my wife, constantly requesting to have my hearing checked, I would never have done it. So, get your hearing checked because, just a slight hearing loss, like myself, does affect your memory,, not too mention, you will hear things you should be hearing, & mostly, hear all the communications with your loved ones, so you will give the correct answers to questions asked. 😁

It all started with a wonderful conversation with Kathleen. She was extremely personable and patient with all my questions. We were greeted with aloha as soon as we stepped into office. They were very hospitable and treated my mom well. Dr. Nakamura catered to my moms needs and was very thorough in explaining the visit and the next steps. I highly recommend this office.

I am here on vacation and my hearing aid died on me and I knew I needed to replace the wax filter so my hearing aid can work again. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and thorough.There was no wait....my appointment time was real.The doctor was personable, delivered information any lay person could understand, well versed in his field....and an excellent listener.Prior to the meticulous tests he conducted, he cleared my ear canals of all built up wax....while I watched the process on a monitor.And....you won’t believe the advances in hearing aid technologies! Small, computerized for individual ear needs, and rechargeable (like your phone).Financing available, including leasing!There is no sales pressure.Definitely worth any time/money you invest.It was actually a fun experience.

First, hearing test before my purchase was much more comprehensive that all the others places I have gone to. Second, after purchase the service continues to adjust the various programs so patient receives the maximum benefits the instruments was designed to be and to make it right. This allowed me to test hearing aids under various environments. Also, before purchase I had numerous questions and all were satisfactorily answered. The on going care shows Family Hearing Center has the patients interest foremost. Since my purchase 8 weeks ago, Ive had 4 post visits and more to be scheduled. All at no additional charges.

Example: Subdue background noise and make conversation moreeasily understood as on a crowded venue.There is a range of devices available based on need and budget.

My appointment was to be tested for latest hearing aid for seniors and be processed for it. I wasgreeted warmly, given information and explanation of costs and process. I was given a hearing test and given results which showed my hearing deteriorated. I was informed that I would be notified tomorrow whether my application would go through. I was highly satisfied with my visit.

I had my quarterly hearing aid appointment today and was extremely satisfied with the service that was provided. Wes, my hearing specialist, as always was very efficient, helpful and able to repair one of my hearing aids that I damaged on the spot.
