We really like shopping here. Feels much more cool and local than Safeway next door. Great prepared foods and excellent produce.Many Japanese products.Lots of coffee.Great bakery products.

I visited the supermarket about a month ago and gave an honest review, well the owner replied to my review and was disappointed in that he felt he was running a 5 star mart. So I said to myself, maybe I misjudged his store, and so Id give another shot. And upon further review I did miss something, the photos tell the whole story. The 3 star rating I dropped to a 2 star rating

Nice and convenient place to shop for groceries. Went when they opened at 5:00am. Male employee by meats area very helpful to bring out more of the shrimp that was on their weekend sale. Love this place.

Their deli is great.Make sure you see the coupons....otherwise youll be paying a higher price. If there is a coupon for the item....you will not see the cheaper price on the shelf....you will only get the cheaper price if you show the coupon to the cashier. I think it is very sneaky marketing.

Nice local food store. Prices on the high side. Surprised that pineapples are $1.29 pound when it is a local product. They have in place no plastic bags and I think it was 15 cents for paper bags.

Our review of Times Supermarket on Beretania Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.The store is a Landmark in Honolulu. Its an old store that has been modernized. Besides, Produce, Canned and Packaged foods, there are Liquor and Wines, Poke, Plate Lunch, Dim Sum, Bakery items and Mochi.The store is crowded at 12 noon, when we stopped by. Times are all great to pick up local ingredients and products. This location has an excellent poke section that includes marinaded meats and other per pound items. They also serve hot take out plates and other hot food items that are quite good. Their daily specials are really worth it.

They have the most awesome folks working at the lunch counter. The food is ok, but for the price and the amount that you get, plus the friendly service, its an excellent value.

I go there for the fresh poi and I always end up spending over a hundred dollars.

The best Times! They are always well stock with groceries you need (except toilet paper when theres a panic! LoL) prepared food is always ono too! Staff always friendly!

Though Times isnt bright and shiny like some other grocery stores, it has some of the best deals on produce. Their digital presence could be improved. As of now, you have to pull up a bar code or find a nearby paper copy to get the coupon deals. But there is always someone around to help.

Just a quick visit so it may deserve more stars. Found some things not available in other supermarkets. Very helpful people working there; went above and beyond.

Lets be honest, shopping at Times youll get more for your dollar. The staff is knowledgeable and you, the customer are not an interuption in their day, you are the purpose for it. One criticism however, this self checkout, works if you need just a few items but if I am dropping a $100+ then I would appreciate them opening up another register, know what I mean? In all fairness though, that does seem to be the new marketing strategy that All the grocers are employing. I guess Ill just have to adapt. 😉

Great seafood deli. Wednesdays is $5.00 sushi. And there meat dept. is superb!

Wide range of plate lunches that are made daily. Check the daily specials that are listed from roast pork to fried chicken. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh . Poke bowls are made fresh for you while you wait. They have everything that you need for your daily needs to feed your family.

Got a roast beef plate on hot food service counter with a bottled water.

Everything was great. Went for something from the bakery (a lemon bundt cake). Ended up buying a bit more than expected, because they had a lot of choices. Had some really fresh produce and a lot of veggies on sale. They even went in back to bring me something I thought they were out of. He said just wait a minute and it was no problem to get it. Very helpful employee!

I grew up with times. It was the first big supermarket in Waipahu when I was growing up. I love this one the best though. It has the best hot plate lunches in my opinion on the island. The only problem is that Times supermarkets are a bit higher in prices then other supermarkets. Not to much but enough to notice the difference....

The self check out is sanitized after every customer. Excellent safety precaution! As far as I know its the only market Ive been to that takes this extra step!

Not a place u want2 be at night especially after night fall kind of like get what u need n get out place.

Completely out of ice coffee. Customers inline were rude and swearing at each other.

Best selection of veggies. Also a good place to refill your 5-gallon water bottles. Staff is nice and professional. Their self-checkout also allows for you to buy the 5-gallon water refills, so you dont need an actual cashier personnel. My go-to for quick runs and finding fresh produce when I dont get to visit the open market near work.

Not the best/biggest/most-stocked/best customer service supermarket in the area, but prices are good, and the feel is local (as opposed to a bigger, nicer, better-experience Safeway, but their prices are higher than most). However, this review is about Times daily plate lunches at their deli - the best value of any quick-service joints in town. When I dont know what take-out food I want for that day, I can always fall back on them. Highly recommended.

I always shop here. Love the prices and their customer service is Sterling. They even call the Cab to take me home. Most times their shelves are stalked. Produce is always fresh. This Kanaka has nothing to complain about.

This location is not as good as the other times on beretania closer to McCauley. I came on a day when I had more food brought in. Despite that there was still most of the fruits were either over ripened or spoiling. My groceries were actually more expensive than I expected and it would have cost me just as much to have gone to Safeway but I probably would have had higher quality. The pineapple, and the papaya cost too much but I just might have timed it wrong. However remember an old man freaking out because a bottle of black pepper was $12.99. at Safeway it is $4.99.

Times always has what I need on short notice or in the neighborhood, reasonable prices depending on what ur looking for!

The parking lot is to small when you have other shops around the parking becomes tight.other than that is good place to shop.

Great store and always great customer service

I like going to this supermarket because this place is clean and organized. They have a diverse selection and with friendly workers. Today at 3pm however, I had an uncomfortable situation with the person that serves the poke section. He was rude to me, and this isnt the first time this has happened. I always get poke when I shop for groceries; and because of what happened today Im thinking about switching my regular grocery store.

This Times Supermarket so organized I can find what I need and want.Cashier and Workers very courteous.

Compared to Safeway next door, prices are great, produce is fresh and local and meat choices are better.

Smaller than Times Kaneohe. The aisles dont always make sense. There was a homeless woman bathing in the parking lot...her whole bottom area exposed. Not typical sight at a grocery store.

Easy location to find off on Beretania Street after the Keeaumoku street left side. O e of there older store I do enjoy shopping here. Seafood department towards the back, a pharmacy and experienced a self cashier here for the first time and one of the first of their stores to offer! Friendly staff! Definitely encourage to visit!

Great neighborhood grocery store with a pharmacy and a local deli with plate lunches.

Convenient place to shop. The deli is a Hidden Gem. The sandwiches are great and the sushi is freshly made. Stop by the Poke bar and get a poke Bowl before heading out to the beach.

Does anyone know where I can get a plate lunch with three sides and a drink for under $10? I used to go Times Beretania for that but now they charge you by weight. The guy that thought this would be a good idea should be demoted or fired.
