They have more local food choices, they have almost everything! Very convenient. They have poke, bakery, cakes, flowers, leis, bento, etc.

Foodland is the only solely locally owned supermarket in Hawaii. They’re known to have better poke than other supermarket chains. This store is conveniently located in a small shopping center with fast foods, an office supply store, Korean & Local food places, a big thrift store, and more. Friendly staff.

Got donuts the other day. They were suppose to be fresh - but they were anything but fresh. We gsve them to a homeless lady sitting outside 7/11 & she didnt even eat them!

Keep sanitizing keep cleaning the place make it look cleaner keep the riffraff out its definitely neighborhood shopping place improvements are good it takes time I like it when Im in town

Pau Hana time and everyone flocks to the seafood counter. Pull a number and hope the poke you wanted is still full or being made in the back. This store is run down compared to all other Foodlands, but it sure is busy. The clientele doesn’t seem to care that it isn’t an R.Fields location. This location is fine for the people in and out the doors. Including me!!

Was able to buy poke for our July 4th luncheon!

I liked the store. But, when you are a person with medical condition that can not wear a face mask but rather need to wear a face shield with letter from Doctor, You will not be allowed in this store !!Sorry, but this is by Presidents orders that no one can be discriminated against due to breathing problems wearing a face shield. I showed them my Doctors letter and they did not care, very sad !!! I will never come back here not even when Covid-19 is over !!

All time favorite grocery store in my neighborhood. People are friendly. Prices are good. Live Foodland.

Location is not the safest! However I love this store as it has great varities of just about anything you need from a supermarket! And the poke and fried chicken is awesome. Effecient staff and friendly security.

Good place to shop for your every day grocery needs. Big parking lot, always lots of space.

This place offers food/snacks all over the store. Dont go when youre hungry..... youll end up spending 10x more than you went in for!employees are very friendly, quick efficient service!

Food land is close to where I live in kalihi, Safeway pali, is further away. Choices vary. Both excellent!, however, additional choices draw .its a sales draw.your choice

In light of the pandemic avoid this place if you believe they should have CUSTOMER RESTROOMS and or have the ability to wash your hands. They have no facility to use the restroom and or wash your hands.

Prices for the products are much lower compared to other wholesale & retail outlets. They have discounts for Family members too.

Check Stand #5 Jessica was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. I am 66 yrs old and evidently was a bit off on social distancing, maybe 5 ft instead of 6ft. and this cashier was so disrespectful when correcting me. I would suggest a different line of work other than customer service based employment. If I could score a minus -5 I would.
