This mall is patronized by DOD personels. You have to show your ID before you enter.Christmas season was awesome bec5they had lots of deals in every department including a scratch card ranging from 10-50% at checkout out. Good place to shop for all seasons.

Great facility for the NEX in Hawaii. The staff does a great job of keeping the place clean and ensuring all the food options are always running and providing great selection a and friendly service. The prices are reasonable, and all the proceeds go back to supporting the service members and their family. The Pearl Harbor is a huge win for the surrounding communities and all the workers at the NEX.

You can enter the NEX without a military ID but you need to show it at checkout. This means you can take guests in with you. They have almost anything you are looking for from Jewelry, clothes for all, baby gear, workout and fitness products, camping and fishing, electronics, and more. Try to remember your scratch card for savings. In the winter the toys are moved to the big white tent parking lot.

Pearl Harbor NEX has the advantage of being off base which makes life a lot easier. The NEX is just five minutes (two stop lights) from the freeway. The parking lot is huge thus I’ve always parked just a couple of minutes walk away from the entrance. Having the commissary in the same building is very convenient. Rest rooms are located on both levels. The food court on the second floor has a selection of fast food. I purchased a watch tonight. Knew what I wanted, described it to the sales associate-in and out in roughly 20 minutes. Great staff assistance.

Big selection, great outdoor BBQ, huge liquor store, tons of Hawaiian gifts and stuff, millions of shirts, and so on...

The NEX is the best place to shop if youre military or know someone in the military willing to buy you stuff. Its like a department store at the mall, but with its own package store, and food court. Their prices are low, and they have good stock of items, AND its tax free. Again best place to shop for all your family needs. But Im sure the people who have access here already know how awesome this place is.

One of the newest, largest, and well maintained exchanges I’ve been in, there’s a large selection and great prices for the area. Not a lot of souvenirs if that’s what you’re looking for. The commissary is also right next door so you can get all your shopping done at one time. Check out both floors as well as the kiosks and small stores that are a part of the exchange complex. There are also food and product tents outside. Going to the exchange here can be an experience all on its own.There is a furniture annex, and an outdoor annex close by the main exchange. The ITT office is just around the corner if you want to find out about shows or attractions offering discounts to military members and their families. They’ll make the reservations for you and give you the benefit of their experience in making recommendations.If you can’t find what you want here, the Hickam exchange is close by.When you enter the exchange, look up. The murals of the whales and marine life are something to behold. The ray in the middle of the skylight is almost like being in the water and looking up tp see it cross overhead.Lots of parking. Look at the markings, there are lots of reserved parking spots for different ranks, positions, expectant mothers, etc.

Really big and has great deals. The staff is nice too. Sometimes the escalator doesnt work but they have elevators. The makeup section alone is huge and has the major name brands. I wish the candle selection was bigger but oh well. We cant have everything

It was very nice inside with a large selection of products. Definitely better then the PX at Schofield.

Friendly, helpful staff and well stocked. The rearrangement of shelves makes it easier for anyone on a wheelchair or mobility scooter. WELL DONE!!

Biggest PX/NEX in the world I think. Its a little different since the public can access it (just have to have an ID to buy). It also has a massive ceiling mural painted by Wyland which is really pretty. Only downside it that it seems like 1-2 out of 4 escalators is always broken.

Blows the MCX out of the water. Makes most on island military exchanges look run down by comparison. Only wonder where they moved the firearms and ammo or if they got rid of them completely. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Pearl harbor NEX is always a good experience.. They have a good variety of places to eat at. The yummy barbecue location there is one of the best on oahu! Get the combination barbecue chicken and beef.. Its enough food for two meals and its delicious! 😁 🤙

You cant beat the prices (no tax) but I do wish the store would ensure that all the sale items wrung up correctly. The store is clean and the staff are friendly, pleasant. The only negative is the empty shelves with no one actively stocking.

Place is crawling with gremlins. They insist on helping you shop. A stick wards them off good so an easy solution. Other than that a nice place

NEX meets all of my needs. Safe, clean shopping enviroment, masking, social distancing is evident. Store associates are very welcoming, lots of Aloha. My favorite place to shopping.

Always efficient, friendly customer service. Often carry items that are hard to find elsewhere on Oahu (soda stream refills, Dyson Animal 2 Vacuum, etc ). However, I was very disappointed to see the childrens book section has shrunk ALOT and is now stuck in the back of the electronics section with school supplies and stationery.

Went to Bread/Pastry aisle, Loves mini dough nuts were very wet. Next one along side was near frozen. Bread the same. Loves is a mile away. Last week it was expired items in the vitamin aisle. SHAMEFUL!Treating the military as second class citizens that will take low class treatment. Low management standards. Im sure they will find someone else to blame. Disrespectful.

Clean, spacious, lots of parking, one stop shop for pretty much everything except furniture and appliances. Low and reasonable price with many brand name items.

Large exchange with a good selection of quality items. The prices very reasonable compared with other major stores on Oahu. Lots of parking and the commissary is right there as well. They have frequent sales and the scratch card option is fun to play and you always get at least an additional 5% off your purchase. We got 25% once and saved over $200.00. Bought a surface pro.

The NEX/Commissary Complex is a convenient leisurely shopping experience. The Food Court has something for everyone. Overall, a bargain for your money.

Better than going to the Mall! Ive asked to to add three items over the years and with in 90 day they started carrying the products I asked for. Clean and friendly NEX staff always with a smile.

I think the place clean and neat. The food was excellent Andy variety of shops that cater to food was a lot the Greek food all the different types Asian Etc. Only one drawback was hard to find but I didnt bring you for that. Thank you it was an enjoyable experience

I like that they sell Hoka and Altra running shoes and at a big discount! The Nike running clothes are dated but otherwise the store has a lot to choose from and friendly staff.

Great place to get almost anything for active duty military & veterans. Youll find affordable clothing, shoes, jewelry, household commodities, small appliances, sports & camping equipment, toiletries, beauty products, local gifts, beer, wine & liquor, groceries etc.

Always a great place to go shopping. COVID-19 limit was a little confusing.

No tax but higher prices because mostly high end branded products. A trade-off. Good news is great quality. Wide variety of items.

Excellent options for our service members and their families as well as those who serve out of uniform. Plenty of options. 25 different options in the inside upper second floor food court. Additional options outside in front. Attatched directly to the Commissary as well as the beverage store. Plenty of options for the entire family.

Biggest in the world! Lots of parking. Good amount of shops for a variety of items and services. Decent selection of food court eateries. Better to go during weekday mornings before 1500 to avoid regular crowd of shoppers.

Typical military mall, has all the amenities of a mall. Window shop at other locations for items prior to coming here and if the price is cheaper at the other locations, the NEX will price match those items.

Great place for shopping and food. But you do need a military identification card to do purchases. But today we did get to a trunk or treat, great fun for the kids.

Unless you are military, military related, or a guest of a military person can you enter the Pearl Harbor NEX. All must have a current, valid ID, and it must be shown upon entry.There are kiosks in the rotunda and on the outside that are open to civilians.

Only really go for the food court as it has such a great selection of food options. From Subway, Taco Bell, McDonalds, and Popeyes for fast food to Korean, Greek, and Japanese (sushi) on the more ethnic side everyone should be able to find something to eat. The seating is plentiful if you dont mind sitting next to others in the longer row configuration that they have or outside on the Lanai area. You also do t need to have a military or DOD ID card to take advantage of the food court.

Not bad all things considered. The food court was super cramped... Like they need to get ride of a couple of the kiosk restaurants and make some room for more tables so people dont have to eat outside on the lanai.

I love going here. Tax free and they have mostly everything you want and need. I gave it 4 stars because i wanted to buy a watch but the jewelry department ignored me like i was not going to buy. So i went there another day and bought it from the first person that said hello. Which by the way no one else there did.

Found everything I wanted

It was pretty packed when we went in, but the options were fantastic. Worth the drive from the windward side.

I think everything was organized very good and shelves in the store looked very nice.

The NEX tends to have a mishmash of people and products. But it is the best exchange for any military families or members on island. It is centrally located and close to the airport.
