I highly recommend getting anything avocado! Avocado spicy toast! Deviled avocado! You name it! The honey latte is also delicious and you have plenty of dairy free options to choose from. Not to mention a beautiful view of the harbor and homes to dream about buying when you finally when the lottery. 10/10
We absolutely loved this newly discovered spot. Right on the water, the staff was just great and our food was delicious! We ordered the Spinach, Cranberry, chicken salad, Bistro burger, chicken avocado club and another sandwich (?)The bread was ah- mazzzzing. We also ordered 4 yummy desserts and coffee/teas.How grateful we are to have found a place to sit outside by the water and dine - even without the vaccine ππ½We will absolutely be back and will spread the word about Island Brew Coffeehouse!
Beautiful location, you get to enjoy the outdoor view of Hawaii Kai. Their service was great and there were plenty of seats available when I went. I had the Spinach Ravioli - it was cheesy, but definitely needed more flavour/salt to improve it. Definitely a place worth checking out. They have an extensive menu available!
Overall, the drinks are pretty good, but the food is just average. We normally frequent the Ala Moana location, but thought weβd check out Hawaii Kai today. The seating area outside next to the water is nice, but can get hot if the table shades arenβt opened.Still worth a visit if youβre in the area and looking for a drink.
We visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch. We had a lovely time, and would be keen to return. The restaurant was spacious, had lots of outdoor seating, and we did not have to wait to get a table. The food was served quickly. The restaurant has excellent views of the water (see photo). Our food was beautifully presented and was tasty brunch meals.
If I could give more stars I would. The savory dishes had some fantastic flavors, lemon aioli and fresh pesto. The breads were amazing, whether naan for the wrap or the brioche in the french toast. I think the secret is out but this place is worth the wait, even when busy.Update: Came back again, and again everything was delicious. The basilito is an egg wrap sandwich I have tried a couple times and is always great. The blueberry waffles were also good, and another sandwich, the favala I think it was called, with hummus and veggies on naan bread was savory and sumptuous. This is probably my favorite breakfast spot on the island. It also sits right on the water and has some great views to take in while dining.
Nice quick coffee house with some food options. It is affordable and friendly. The coffee was good as well as the food options.
If youre within a one mile radius, stop by - why not. But no need to venture out. Dining is slow and confusing. The cashier provides you with a flower that correlates to your food order. However, this requires that the servers are fully aware that a particular type of flower means specific food items. On three separate occasions, I was asked what I had place as an order. When I finally received my order, I received my two food items almost one hour apart. When I started to inquire about the status of my remaining order, I did not receive an apology rather an excuse. We are backed up. After my second inquiry, I was told that my remaining order was not placed. Long story short, mediocre food that can easily be made at home, in particular, their selection of breakfast sandwiches. Save your gas and time and head elsewhere. Unless, you want service with an excuse and food that can be made from home.
They always do a nice job. My husband loved his coffee drink. I had a ice tea. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is wonderful and delicious!
Fantastic cold brew! Wonderful place to stop on the way around the island. Try the Banana Peanut Butter and Honey toast. :)
Funky. I did not like the sad half avocado with one lonely toast that was served in a old wooden platter that looked as if it could be growing bacteria. The plate should have being covered with a paper under the food. A small portitoon of salsa and one more toast would be a better dish.
Its pricey, but very comfortable and good view. They are eco friendly. This is by H2O, after I hang out with water sports, came here and relaxed. They have bakery, and some cakes, I like their cheese cake! When you want to relax, you should come here. They make your day! Their furniture is wood made, very cozy.
This place has the nicest views for a breakfast or a coffee. It was really busy and the wait was long but there is tons of seating options and also lots of food options. The food was great! Only downside is that half of our food didnβt come for a long time and they failed to mention that they dropped it until I went up to ask.Okay prices
This has become one of our favorite places to eat for breakfast. They open early so you can get a jump on your day. We have had great customer service every time. The girls are very kind and helpful and give great recommendations. The acai bowls are hearty and worth the price. The view from the patio tables is spectacular. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy your food. This isnt a place I would go to if I was in a rush and wanted a quick coffee. The only downside to all the amazing is the birds on the patio. They have quite a few and they are not shy by any means. Fun for a bit until they want to peck your food.
Cute little place! The staff is great & I cant wait to come back!
Truly great place. Nice outdoor set up, delicious food, good coffee. Breakfasts naan and bagels are superb.
Requested a latte for $5.95 and it taste like only oat milk - very low quality. I took the full cup of latte back to register to provide feedback and asked if I can get an organic black tea instead for $2.95. The unexperienced cashier & what looked to be the owner acted like I was pulling a scam. Really? I didnt even ask for anything Free, you assumed it and proceeded to be discourteous. Yeah Im trying to scam you for $2.95. Right! Very low quality establishment. If you rated this place 3 stars or more - you really need to get out more and experience better quality!
The place for coffee is Hawaii Kai. My Honolulu friends come out just for the laid back vibe. The food is amazing. Lots of vegan options. Iβm partial to the Mac nut waffles. Great Covid protocol. Expect a short wait but worth it!!
One of the few cafΓ©s on the island with true waterfront seating (yes its a Marina, but still!!) love to come here to hang out.
Great coffee and views of the water.
My favorite coffee shop on the island and my favorite study spot in the world! Island Brew is located right on the marina in Hawaiβi Kai and has a huge variety of seating options. Comfy seats, good eats, amazing drink options, the sound of the water, and free WiFi always keep me coming back. They offer many local inspired drinks and have delicious house made small foods to enjoy, my go to order is a Haupia Pie Latte and a slice of their banana bread.
LOVE this spot. The hardworking Owner and Staff are always friendly prompt and knowledgeable.Love having morning coffee while enjoying the gorgeous ocean views and bountiful Hawaiian breeze of high-class Hawaii Kai.
Delicious coffee here. I went with their m mocha. Its sweet, and plenty of coffee.
I ordered turkey pesto ($13.56) and it was very delicious. My only complaints are that the seating arrangements are close together, and the bread I ate was hard.
I love dogs ...they are allowed
I loved the honey latte with mac nut milk. Beautiful outdoor seating!
Available bowls were great
Very community neighborhood establishment. Food is great and there are a few vegan options. Great smoothies too! The vibe is very friendly and exhibits so much Aloha!
Cappuccino is very weak here.AΓ§aΓ bowl isnβt customizable to the extent of others, but tastes good.
Every time we come there because of wonderful views and disappointed because of food.Half of menu is always not available. Everything is not tasty and a bit weird. All of my friends say that its a beautiful place with not tasty food.It would be wonderful to see there more tasty waffles, some classic things like smoked ahi salad, salmon Benedict eggs instead of huge piece of sweet bread with 1 egg (eggs beni).
I had the Lavender Rose Latte and Breakers Bagel. Vey good and we enjoyed rhe sunrise behind Koko Crater.
Great menu and excellent service but the best part of it is that you can sit down and enjoying your food looking at the water
The food (1 star)We found eggshells in our Our Frittata, which itself was bland (they forgot to add salt) and overcooked. The devilled eggs were over fried and the onions were completely raw.Service (5 stars)Great service, although they didnt offer a refund with the frittata. The seating (3 stars)The cushions were stained with different smears and the tables not wiped after the previous customers. Besides that, the bay views are gorgeousOver all: Food not recommended. Try their smoothies or coffee for takeout.
Chill place to work with a pool, live music and jacuzzi
Honestly the best coffee Ive ever drank. 10/10
Nothing is bad here, the coffee is righteous, and the breakfast sandwiches are on point. TRY THE BASILITO WRAP
Ohhhhhhh myyyyyyyy!!! I just had the most delicious coffee EVER!
This is our go to coffee house in Hawaii Kai. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is generally excellent. They are doing social distancing well and comfortably with lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommended.
Overpriced and rather confusing menu - The cold brew was nothing to write home about and I did not finish my hummus bagel. The hummus was spicy which I was unaware of (refer back to slightly pretentious and confusing menu) and the bagel otherwise dry and unappealing. Nice views but I wont be back.
Love this place. Delicious food, very friendly staff, beautiful outdoor seating right on the water, and they use eco-friendly products. :)
