I dont normally write reviews but I wanted to take time out to warn people about the worst experience i’ve ever had with a company. I experienced severe hardship during COVID, and at the same time had issues with my final Verizon bill and I was unable to reach anyone at Verizon and they sent me to collections for less than $60 and refuse to fix the issue. They are blaming me and ruined my credit report. I’ve read other reviews and see they disappear after a couple of weeks. I suspect they are paying to remove this off because I’ve read about this online. Part of the phoniness is replying to your review like they care when they couldn’t really care less. Stay away.just to update anyone reading this, i’m still dealing with this issue after contacting the Better Business Bureau, twice. Im currently filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and waiting to hear back. Verizon has too much power and are callous with their discretion. choose a carrier wisely!

I found Mike (the manager on duty) to be extremely helpful, kind, and professional. I came in just before closing to handle one issue and while I was there mentioned another small issue I was having with my phone. Mike went above and beyond to help me with both issues while being polite and courteous the entire time. He and the other employee on staff made me feel very welcome and taken care of the whole time. Would highly recommend this location due to the stellar customer service..

Top tier service!!! Ported over a number from another carrier and opened a new line. Anna is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She did an amazing job at getting everything done quickly, despite some obstacles with the number transfer. If this was my local shop, I would be coming here for all my service needs.

Long wait time and too long of a process just to upgrade my phone. By the time I was waited on I knew what I wanted but the salesperson gave me such a hard time getting what I wanted I didn’t even get it. Not sure if it had something to do with her commission if the item had to be ordered since it wasn’t in stock. The whole ordeal took about 3 hours and I still had to set my own phone up at home hah!

Mr. Mike Chang at Verizon Kapiolani Blvd was a wonderful customer solutions specialist! He is very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful individual!I had some problem with prepaid services, and he helped me any way he could. Although prepaid system is not user friendly, because of the good monthly charge, I decided to keep it.Mike was also, a good sales rep, introduced me with different types of products, explained me the benefits and usage of each items very well so I can understand them. I end up buying four items for myself for Christmas, and I am very satisfied with all of them!Although I went in to the store with prepaid service complaints, Mike’s positive attitude, effort, and overall wonderful professionalism helped me leaving store with happy feeling. Thanks Mike!!

Went for information about a new Samsung phone. Asian guy (slim, about 59, short dark hair, 25-30 yo) that helped me didnt really know the products he sells and basically told me I could get the information I wanted Online! Terrible! Yet he still acted like a know it all! When I bought my Three previous phones from that store the salespeople were Very knowledgeable about All their products and answered all my questions with confidence! Easy to tell this guy wont be there for long!

Mike was a sweetheart! He was patient, answered all my questions, and I bought a new Galaxy 7 tablet! The social distancing thing was actually fine and it made for a better sales experience. Keep up the good work Verizon, and give Mike a raise!

Im very disappointed with the interaction with the service representative that worked with my mother in how to get her phone working better. Instead of being patient, he was condescending and because he wasnt making commission off of us by selling us the latest phone with the bells and whistles, he made us stay outside in the hot sun and said, hes going to show us the procedure only once, and we gotta do it ourselves. What happened to the customer service.

Rushed, didn’t seem like he was very interested in assisting me just wanted to turn me away to their website or Apple so he could get back to sitting and whatever else he was not doing. My goal was to upgrade my phone on my pre existing plan and he didn’t offer to assist me in doing so online or in any capacity whatsoever. Did not get the help I needed, don’t come here. I rode the bus all the way over after work for this today.

Terrible customer service. Misleading information (as in advice given isn’t in the customer’s best interest) being provided. Oh yea, rude staffs too. But don’t take me wrong. Verizon is still the best network in Hawaii in terms of speed and coverage. Just stay clear of this store. Find another store or buy from 3rd party sellers if you want Verizon service.Update on Sep 23: Unlike others, Mike was really helpful. He explained my options quite clearly in a very friendly way. I’d give him 5 stars. But Verizon is now asking me some bills wrongly as a consequence of previous misled information and I have to call and solve it. So only one additional star due to Mike.

Bought all my gear here. If you have to wait you can easy grab some coffee or smoothie down the street. Workers are professional and informative. Even if you come in for a question or to buy something small they treat you right and not just to get commission. Verizon will always be my go to. You pay a little more for the best coverage and the best phones. I bought a phone that everyone in Japan loved.

Broke my phone while on vacation and was helped by Dane who went above and beyond to accommodate me.. held the phone for me while I was having banking issues and helped me call an uber. Took just a few minutes once my banking issues were situated but he had no problem staying late just to help me get set up as I was only on the island for another day. He seemed really genuine. Thank you from Vegas!

Well I ordered the new S20 ultra and a S20 on my business account. They said 2 days delivery which was correct except they forgot to add my apartment number so delivery didnt happen. Mistakes happen and I was fine with the mix up until I called and explained. The girl that answered the phone Wednesday said they were closing soon and she couldnt help me today. Mind you this is 30 minutes before closing. I fustratedly explained I just needed them to make a call to FedEx to add my apartment number and that the call needed to be from them, thats it. Sounding annoyed she looks up my account and said you have a business account?, I say yes and she says Oh I have to transfer you to the business account team and I said thats fine. Which then I get transfered to a automated system that tells me to call back during opening hours. So hang up and guess what. No one answers the phones after calling over and over for the next 25 minutes. Which I knew they were open because Everytime I called the system tells you that the store is open until 5pm and after 5pm the store is closed. You think purchasing over $2000 worth of phones and having 5 active phone lines on a account you would get better service. Canceling my phone orders and maybe time to find better customer service once I can get ahold of someone working.

Closed an account here and paid balance in full. Verizon then (1.) terminated account earlier than agreed upon date and (2.) billed us for an extra 81.00 dollars, after a sales representative guaranteed everything was paid in full. Will take this to the Better Business Bureau if not resolved. Bottom line is that these guys are crooks and I recommend stearing clear of them.

Horrible experience. I signed up here and got charged in the bills for unknown additional lines and fees I have no ideas what they were from. Spending a lost of time in store visits and commutations wishing they would correct the bills. The people were nice and helpful, and affirmatively promised that it would be corrected in next bill. Sad, but you received same bill next time, and next time, and next time... it looks that the bills persisted to charge the unknown additional line and fees forever...

I called the Honolulu store from California because my fiances phone (from another provider) finally died, and hes there for three months attending a Fellowship at the East West Center (at UHM) - and he needed his phone (which hes also using as a hot-spot) and we needed to figure out how to get him new service and a new phone ASAP!A really nice helpful guy named CIA helped me - he was great - and sorted it all out and hooked us up in no time flat - and all my fiance has to do is go in and pick out and bring home his new phone! He may get a tablet too! Thank you CIA for a job well done.

Dont waste your time to there. We were there waiting for more than 45 minutes. a Japanese lady just walk in to the store and she cut in to the line without sign in. I ask them why? She told me:The lady being helped could only be help by our Japanese speaking representative and was waiting for him specifically. .I told her: She should wait in line like us. Why she is special???

DONT TRUST THESE GUYS AT ALL!!! I spoke with different guys from this shop who assure that the phone I wanted to buy is completely unlocked and i can use it everywhere. For sure it was not! At first they said I have to activate it with the Verizon plan first, than I have to wait for a month and finally for 6 month...when I realised that I wanted to give the phone and plan back but they didnt give me the refund! Such an insidiousness. I recommend go to the AT&T store just around the corner in the Ala Moana Center!!

I was bothered that I came into the store to make a minor purchase of a protective cover or case for my phone and had to wait a very long time. I was making a major purchase of a phone, or here for technical support. I think this store needs to reevaluate this policy or business model. Maybe find out what are peoples needs, if it is some as quick as getting a case or headphones, or the customer know what they what, and understands that if they need further assistance then they wait. But a simple 5min task, they should not have th of wait while some one is being up sold a phone, or the other stuff like getting it turned on. Possible solutions get a kiosk so people can self register, have someone free to assist with this and available for someone who knows what they want or wants to buy something simple like headphones, protective case for a phone. Hope this helps.

Fantastic customer service. After reading these other reviews, I was in aww because the service representative that helped me out was just outstanding. Her name is Kim and she did such a great job. Very polite and sweet. Probably the best Ive ever gotten in any Verizon store. They also have a lot more variety also than just phones. I got sold on a Fitbit and some wireless beats headphones. Thank you guys for the great service!

I waited over an hour for help just to be turned away. Everything I own was stolen from me and they were unable to help me get a replacement phone WITHOUT ID. MIND YOU IVE VEEN COMING TO RHIS STORE FOR YEARS. I also presented my other proof I am who I am. Both birbirth certificate school Id even tickets from police that state my damn name and everything else. Ive been asked for ID maybe 2 times at the beginning but never since.

The store is very modern, but itd super slow. I waited 35 minutes with only 4 people in front of me. One of the sales reps was just flirting with customers, and others were just walking around. The gentleman who helped me. Was very unsure about the prepaid plans.

Poor help with an exchange for a Hum. They did not do what is needed. I did not need the X and exchanged for a +. Had to pay full amount And they did not help to change the service trying to pull a fast one. That is giving me exchange for full payment but not assisting in the use of said product.2 hours on phone gettting it reversed so the unit will work. Three states later still not able to use it. May change to ATT as they give tv service and have more for less.

DO NOT COME HERE AND IF YOU DO THEN DO NOT SEE DANIEL! He helped me get an iPhone 7plus red and fixed my data plan so I wouldnt have to pay crazy amounts of money anymore saying that he knew a way to get me 5 gigs a month and add in taxes and my device monthly payment and have it be only 96 a month with all of that included. Well Daniel WHY IS MY BILL OVER 120 DAMN DOLLARS THEN!? He stacked on hidden fees without informing me about them or their cost and added an item he told me would make my bill cheaper buy getting but never told me that it did the opposite and now Im paying more monthly because of that too! My family has been with Verizon for over 20 years. Ever since they used to be part of bell before the huge monopoly split and this is how you treat us?! Thank you for screwing me over Daniel! Because of you Verizon will now have 1 less loyal family because I am calling Verizon tomorrow to end my contract, move to t mobile, and personally name you and this branch as my reason.

Jake was super rude and had an attitude with me right when I walked in. I overheard him talking about drinking the night before with a coworker who obviously doesnt care about his looks or demeanor!
