This review is based on the sales side of the operations. My wife and I were helped by Sergio, who was really great. Of all the luxury dealership salesmen we dealt with during our recent vehicle search, Sergio was the most comfortable to talk to and gave us straight-forward vehicle information without sounding condescending (not like the dealership next door with the initials MB). Because of the car shortage, we had to wait about 5 weeks for our vehicle to ship from the UK, but it did come in 3 weeks earlier than originally scheduled. Most of the paperwork was done electronically, so when we went to pick up the vehicle, we just had to sign a few docs with the finance guy, JP (who was also easy going and easy to talk to) and learn all the tech features via a crash-course from Sergio. They put a big red ribbon on the car and gave my wife the keys in a gift box, which seems kind of corny, but it made her feel special. The vehicle was in the main showroom on the 3rd floor, so they also had to open the glass doors to drive it out. It was a pretty neat experience. I will probably get a new car next year and will definitely consider a Rover just because of the experience here.

Great Experience! Purchased a Land rover discovery and the process was seamless and honest. Sergio was great and we received every penny for our trade and purchase was as desired. Excellent brand, but smearing it with billing someone over $5000 after sitting at the shop over 30 days to fix a shorted relay that drained the battery. He supplied the new battery by the way (the car owner). The last bill was $2000 for the same issue which never fixed it. What they dont know is I put the bad relay in to see how honest these guys are. $7000 genuine rip off from these guys. The car owner is an older man who always wanted this car. His dream car and look who is there to take him to the cleaners. Look who was involved with this one. Court is their only option if he doesnt get a full refund on the last two trips for service. People this is amazing war scam. Im sure hes not the only customer thats been so badly ripped off. Stop by and take a look at this group. Its amazing how bad he got ripped. I will call the manufacturer to take a look at who is smearing their good vehicle name. Believe me the money never reached the company. Its the side profit excluding the company. Dont dare take a vehicle here. Its goes in the employee pocket. Brb.

I have worked with the JLR sales department and service department here for about 3 years now. The service department never answers the phone, and never returns calls. When you are able to get a hold of them the soonest you can ever book an appointment is 3 months in the future. Unfortunately if you have an issue that needs repaired quickly you cannot be helped. I have also never worked with a high end vehicle dealership that will not readily offer a loaner when your vehicle that is under warranty is being serviced.The sales department is not interested in selling vehicles. I scheduled a time to look at a vehicle and when we got there the sales person we scheduled with was not there, and the vehicle was not available to test drive. They said they would reach out to us to schedule another appointment with us the next week. Nobody ever called us, when we buy I will just buy from a dealership on the mainland and ship the vehicle out.I love JLR as a company, its just frustrating you have to work with this dealership.

Appreciate of the sales experience. I am still in the decision process and the Sales Representative (Preston) has been so patient and helpful. I felt as though I was talking to a friendly, well informed neighbor. He has not pressured me even with my several visits. (Taking my time on this decision. Decision is down to 3 cars.) Wonderful customer service skills. Professional demeanor. The facility is well maintained.

If you ever decide to purchase a Land Rover in Hawaii, this is where to go! Sure, the dealership looks top notch. After all, they are selling all the high end brands. However, what impressed me most was the purchasing experience. Most times the salesman will get you interested and then the sales manager closes the deal. With LRH, it was the salesperson who convinced me to make the purchase. Her knowledge, not only of the vehicle, but of the financing aspect really impressed me. It was her idea on a financing option that closed the deal for me. Make sure you see ALISSA when you go there! I do also want to mention that their sales manager Sean was a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and helpful.BTW, LRH called me yesterday to say my license plates were ready to be picked up. What a pleasant surprise I got when I received a text message from Alissa this afternoon to say she had my plates and would be dropping them off at my residence!I am very happy with my new Range Rover Sport and even happier with the awesome service!

I Love my Range Rover, love our salesman! The one thing I can’t stand about this dealership are their hours!!! Opens at 9am, are you serious?! I made an appointment to get my car serviced; no one confirms appt, I have no time of when to bring my car in, I’ve left messages for a call back as to what time I can drop off my car and I never get a call back! For the price range of their vehicles I expect better service on every level; servicing department, customer service, etc! This dealership should rethink their hours. There should always be a LIVE PERSON picking up the phone between the hours of 6am - 9pm everyday like most other dealerships! How do I get better service all around from new city Nissan but not Land Rover Honolulu?! Something is wrong! Service is great until you actually purchase the car, it continues to be great cause they want u to write great reviews; once that’s all done their service sucks!

My experience with Land Rover was excellent. The sales representative, Preston, was wonderful to work with and he was very knowledgeable. He took time out to explain in detail the differences between buying and leasing. I would recommend working with Preston when buying or leasing vehicles with Land Rover.

I scheduled a service appointment at 7 AM on Tuesday, January 28th. When I checked the online appointment calendar it was all green telling me they werent very busy. I made the appointment early so I would have chance of getting my car back that day. When I got there I was told that they MIGHT get to my car early the next week. I have had little contact and have to call to see what the status is. Today, February 4th, one week later they still cant tell me when to expect the technician to BEGIN to look at it. Also I got an email telling me that I missed my appointment, which I did make, I found that to be interesting and does not give me much confidence in the service department.

We absolutely loved the service that we received when we walked in. We were greeted by Sergio Ambrosino and he made us feel at ease and didnt feel pressured at all. He did such an excellent job of showing us the value of the vehicles in his showroom,that we ended up purchased from him. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining and addressing any concerns that we had.We really appreciated the time that both Sergio and Sean Ortiz took to do all the paperwork for us, since we were the last ones in the building. I will highly recommend him to our family and friends.

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime, but never got around to it until now. I bought a brand new car here in 2015. I liked the atmosphere, it didnt have that pushy salesy feeling you get at other car dealerships (maybe because they didnt think I was there to actually purchase anything). I already knew what I wanted and I came with a loan approval from my bank. The purchase went smoothly and I was overall happy. I did call a couple weeks later and ask how I could add a feature on to the car, was told I would get a call back and never did.My issue is that, I moved states in 2016, and left my warranty in storage. I couldnt remember exactly what I purchased, but I thought it was a service warranty or a cleaning warranty. I remember the finance guy telling me a story about his daughter spilling wine in the car and thats why it was a good idea to get the cleaning warranty. I just couldnt remember if I ended up getting it. My car has beige seats and I would have loved to use this if I had it.In any case, I have called and emailed multiple times over the years to find out this information and have never once received a response. The first time I called, I was transferred multiple times and then finally told someone would call me back. I called back the next day and was told the finance person was on the phone and to call back at a later time. When I called back, he was no longer there. I looked up his email on the website along with a managers and sent them both an email. No response. I called corporate to ask for help and they said they couldnt see any warranties and I needed to call the dealership. Perfect.Here I am 4 years later and Im sure any warranty that I may have purchased is long expired. If someone could check on that for me, even if it is expired, at this point I would just love to find out the answer!

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! They got rid of valet service here. Thank god I didnt purchase anything here yet. Their people pointed me to self park in a stall that there was no way my LR4 could fit in. The parking area is also super dark with cars zooming in and out. Im not parking in that disaster waiting to happen. Awesome stuff there but not worth the risk of wrecking your car. Two stars only because of previous good experiences here. Bye.

Experience with sales rep was good, he seemed to have a lot going on that he got sidetracked often. Regardless, I still bought the vehicle and I am satisfied with it. Here is where it went wrong. After purchasing the vehicle they are completely done with you. No call backs in which I called several times on my plates. 7 weeks later I still dont have my plates and the temporary one is expired. Their solution drive to the dealership (no problem if you live in Honolulu, but I live on North Shore and I have full time job) get new temporary plates just to drive back out there again whenever they decide to do their job and register my car.

It may save your time, money and hassle.I have 2016 Evoque. I’m happy with my vehicle itself.Sales departments was good. brand specialist is friendly and knowledgeable.After purchased vehicle I have to deal with Service department.Honolulu Land rover service department has something very serious problem. Never experienced this kind of situation on other brands.I have many small or big issues on my vehicle and I expected that before purchase. as you know JLR is most unreliable brand on JD power or other survey.Quality of service department is unacceptable level.around 300 miles, coolant started leaking and I visited service center several times but they keep saying it’s normal or couldn’t find any leaking.they treat me like a lier and black consumer. they thought I took out coolant from reserver tank and told them its leaking. and (they marked coolant reserver tank cap with chalk... oh my god...)Finally, one of technician found leaking on engine water pump and luckily problem fixed but no one said sorry to me.Anyway, Thank you for fixed the problem. no more coolant leaking now.Break system started making high pitch squeal noise around 7000 miles when break is cooled. Its very common known problem of Evoque.I visited service center, service manager said that leave my vehicle in service center to diagnose the problem. They didn’t provide loaner or rental vehicle all the time when my car is in service so I took uber to go to work.Next day, they said problem fixed but it’s same. still makes same noise.I visited more than four times but every visit was same routine. Took uber to go to work. Next day picked up my car but problem not fixed. I gave up.Another issue is I purchased 5 years annual service plan with my vehicle.I received 5 paper coupons for five years.I booked 4th oil change service but service manager said that my coupon is expired so I can not use two left coupons.I followed manufacture’s instruction. Every 7500miles or once a year.The service manager said that I have to use all five coupons within 3 years. Hmm..Funny thing is last year, I booked earlier than one year oil change routine and service manager said thatIt not due yet so come back later when is manufacture service interval due.I don’t want say word “scam”. But I believe it is Scam.I didn’t want to argue with them so I left the service center.Jaguar Land Rover products are very attractive but please think more deeply.What is good decision for happy ownershipJN group Jaguar Land Rover need to re-train service department that what is customer service and what is aloha spirit.Human always make mistake and I tried to understand them becauseJLR moved to new location (velocity building) so everything is not organized yet and most staff are new. it may improved later but it is not.recall my memory, I visited old JLR service center next Porsche dealer, that time, I was very impressed the service manager at that time . he is real pro, I can tell his knowledge of their products and his skill to handle problems. but sadly most old staff are left now.I dont think JLR service center not going to change soon.Thank you for reading my long honest review and I hope it helps you make a decision.

Today I am leasing my first Range Rover Evoque Convertible. My experience at the Honolulu Land Rover was really great. As with any car buying/leasing experiences the numbers first time around didnt appease me. After some civil discussion we came to numbers that we agreed on. Everything was very upfront and I felt at any moment I could walk away and theyd still treat me with respect. In the end, the deal worked out; overall Im very glad I chose to work with Honlulu Land Rover.

Preston Saguibo at Land Rover Honolulu provided us with excellent customer service throughout the entire process of our transaction. After some online research, reviews and going for a test drive, I leased a Range Rover Evoque a little over 3 years ago and absolutely am a fan of this car. It is the perfect size car and is high tech with all the bells & whistles! I didnt think they could improve this car anymore, but of course they managed to make it even better and more high tech. Im totally sold on this car and all that the Land Rover brand has to offer. They have a vehicle style for everyone and they really stand behind their product. I was fearful of having a bad experience at this dealership. I was expecting a pushy and disrespectful salesman, but to my surprise it was the complete opposite. I brought an older vehicle for repairs and left with a new 2018 Land Rover Discovery! Sergio Ambrosino is the ‘Gold Standard’ when it comes to professionalism and patience. I recently leased a new Range Rover LWB and was extremely pleased with my overall experience namely through the efforts of Preston Saguibo who assisted me with my sales experience. I live on Maui and completed the purchase remotely; Prestons timeliness, expertise, and tremendous customer service made this a very pleasurable experience for me. Preston has gone above and beyond his duty as a sales person by helping to provide guidance for me on my existing Range Rover Sport which I am relinquishing. I absolutely love my new Range Range- I dont think there is anything better on the market. Unfortunately, my new Range was damaged by Young Brothers while being shipped over to Maui, this had nothing to do with the dealership. Once again, Preston has stepped up to assist me with guidance in facilitating the repair process on my new car. Terrible customer service! I plan to buy a new vehicle in the next few weeks, just not sure which make/model. I went there with my toddler daughter to look at LR4s and couldnt even get acknowledged by a salesperson. Maybe I look too young, or poor, or something. But I am a serious buyer and didnt appreciated being ignored. I thought car salesmen were supposed to be overly pushy, but these are the opposite. How can I buy a car if I cant even get a hello?!

I found it disappointing. Advertise great pre-opening sale, have to get rid of 300+ vehicles, no reasonable offer refused. My wife and I stopped by looked at Land Rover Discovery Sport and Evoque along with the Jaguar F-Pace. Contacted again through email and a single phone call to confirm what we were looking for. Then nothing, I thought what I came up with was reasonable but said directly let me know if it cant be done to person on phone and all they said was they were going to talk with the manager. I understand things cant be done precisely without everything signed but you could have told me if I was being unreasonable. I even went so far to waste a lunch hour putting numbers together myself to determine what it should cost and sent numbers via email, said they were higher than I thought, said these now seem more reasonable and still got no response. So I guess that is how you get around stating no reasonable offer refused, you just dont acknowledge an reasonable offer. Overall, they probably would be great if you walk in with cash and say that one but dont try to actually have them do typical dealership sales, they dont know the vehicles they sell, how to find out if vehicles on lot have specific options, etc. It is not just one person, I have yet to speak to one that knew, I spoke to one on the sales floor and she admitted she was new and did not know, the first email contact, the sales person who called after the first email, and new email contact.
