I am forever grateful for finding Claudette and her shop! Dress shopping was bitter sweet for me since I did not have my mom by my side, I did not have $1,000 like many dresses cost, and I struggled with insecurities of seeing myself in the mirror in dresses that were not flattering. Claudette was so kind and instantly picked 3 dresses in my small budget that would have all worked for me. She really made me feel beautiful and I left her shop feeling excited and complete. Alterations are more costly than I knew, but Claudette has years of experience and did an excellent job making the fabric look like a train, and added a loop for my wrist. I found the dress mid October and she had it all ready by the end of January! I highly recommend her local shop!!

Claudette is a blast to work with!! She’s so much fun and knew exactly what I was looking for in my perfect fairytale wedding dress!!Naturally being plus-sized there weren’t many in-store dresses to choose from but she helped me take the time to look through dress catalogs to look for my perfect dress. Once the dress came in she tailored it to exactly how I wanted it AND she gave me the awesome choice of renting it which saved my wedding budget BIG TIME. The Rental included everything from the dress, to the veil, to even the jewelry! I’m so happy I bumped into their vendor booth at the Bridal Expo. That one moment made my fairytale dress wedding dreams into a reality. Trust in her and her team, they will make your fairytale wedding dress dreams into a reality too!

Claudette is great! She has beautiful dresses and also was able to order my wedding dress (from Morilee by Madeleine Gardner) that I wanted. Claudette did amazing work with alterations for my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. One of my bridesmaids had a delayed flight, so she worked with me to get accurate measurements and somehow made a dress that fit despite never even having a chance to actually pin and measure my bridesmaid. So thankful for all of her hard work! I was very confused by some of the other comments on this page that stated she was rude or her service was bad. We must be visiting entirely different shops because that definitely was not my experience. Also, I was confused about the person who was mad about paying $80 for alterations--Claudette quoted me prices upfront and asked me before she did them if itd be okay. Overall, a terrific experience!

Claudette was amazing, she helped me order a beautiful Tony Bowls gown for a national pageant with only 6-7 weeks to spare. When the dress came in with a week before I had to fly out she did my fitting and completed all alterations in only 2 days! The dress fit perfectly and she completely everything just in time!

High quality dresses and excellent service! The tailoring is also done so beautifully and timely. They gave me a good discount and they helped me pick out my Junior and Senior prom dresses! The store is color coded and they also have beautiful jewelry, tiaras, necklaces, and earrings.

Great selection of dresses, high quality, and excellent alterations. I got my wedding dress here, it was the first one I tried on after the owner interviewed me and assessed my shape and style. I couldnt believe how spot on she was! Owner was very kind and genuine. Alteration was about $400 which was comparable to other places I went to compare. You dont find many small specialty stores like this these days in Hawaii. Overall very happy with my experience!

There is no one better than miss Claudette. I did a surprise wedding and in less than 30 minutes she found a dress so perfect it made my wife cry. She really knows what she’s doing, but more importantly, she really cares. I would recommend her to anyone.

I am from Oregon and planned my wedding a few days before leaving to Hawaii. First stop Honolulu and we were getting married in Maui. I ate to much yummy food and gained too much weight to fit the dress i purchased at home. We went to this shop to find something that fit better... they fit my budget with a few simple dresses but that were not my dream... then Claudette brought me the dress of my dreams and at that point the price did not matter. I felt so special and loved the dress... we found it fast. There was no pressure in buying anything and in 5 minutes she knew what i wanted and had us ready to go fast. I have 10 kids at home and I try to plan ahead... this was the dress that made every dream and imaginatiom come true. My experience at this shop was beyond my expectations. Thank you so much and my wedding in Maui was a dream come true!

No star because the owner rush the party dress 4 days before the event.. that bought 1 month ahead before the party.Upon dress fittings and dress need to adjust and had 2 days before the party and results that party dress never had enough time to fit it nice that fits accordingly with the price..

Such a great store! Owner is so sweet and helpful. I purchased a beautiful red gown for the military ball, and I brought my dress back to have the jewels fixed and she took it with no hesitation. I recommended her store to all my friends!

The service here was amazing. Claudette help me pick out the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. She has a wide verity even for plus size women.

Owner is so RUDE!!!!!!! 0 starswouldve had a sale had the owner not had such attitude when I tried asking about all the snags and lack of quality in the dress. Store is too cluttered. She was the only one there and could not cater to more than one customer at a time (even though there were only me and 1 other customer in store), leaving me standing there with questions for 23 minutes. Ended up going to a different store. Quality of dresses suck here. Lots to choose from but I like quality over quantity along with excellent customer service. BUY your formal wear or Bridal Gowns from VOWS Bridal and Formals. seriously.

Tailoring is well done, however she overcharges and doesn’t give courtesy discounts despite referrals and having multiple dresses altered.

This is the best store!!! The owner pays very special attention to your needs and makes sure that the dress fits absolutely perfectly.

The ladies here are very touchy. It was very uncomfortable for the bride that we needed to let her know, that it was time for her to step out. They dont really listen to your wants and repeats herself about her credentials as something for us to feel obligated to buy a dress. But we ended up walking out empty handed.

We bought 2 prom dresses from Claudette and had a Wonderful experience both times ! The staff is Very Helpful and Attentive to our needs ! We have visited 5 other Prom/Bridal shops in town and none could compare to Party Dress By Claudette for selection and price. Highly Recommended !

To be fair the owner was very nice, and she seemed extremely knowledgeable. Her shop is a bit small and tight, but she has beautiful accessories. We perused through gorgeous catalogues for about half an hour after our appt and when we got help, her partner only put me into three or four dresses (by the way they stay in the room WITH you to assist, just a headsup). Each time Claudette would come in and offer me a sales pitch about selling me the accessories with the dress if I bought from them. Talk about feeling like I was buying a car :/After showing me my fourth dress she said, “Done!” and cleaned up to go back to the other room with the other customers. I stood there like, “is that it...?”I guess they didn’t have much in my size (I am a size 12 btw).Nice lady but I think the customer service needs a bit of work

The women who owns this place is rude and unhelpful. I wouldnt buy ANYTHING from her EVER. Maybe you should be kind to shoppers that you deem unworthy of your cramped, dirty little outdated store. I found a very lovely Sottero and Midgley at La Bella Bridal and the staff there was helpful and nice. If you want great selection Bejou Bridal is also a lovely place to try and will give you a more fairy-tale experience than this shop.This place looks like a storage house for old ice skating uniforms. TACKY.
