Shop after shop there was something I always wanted to change to fit my vision but they could never do it - SHE DID!!!We ran into a small bump at the end where I gained more weight than we thought but she took the dress back & fixed it for me just a week prior to my wedding!! SHE IS A SAINT!!If you’re looking for someone to turn your vision into a reality - look no further! Her fabric and stitching is absolutely stunning!

Miyuki is an incredible dress designer--and shes also wonderful to work with. My wife sent Miyuki pictures of a few wedding dresses that she liked, and Miyuki then pulled the best part of each dress into one gown that my wife called the most beautiful dress in the world =)The dress was ready early, despite an embarrassingly demanding timeline, and it required very few alterations even though my wife had only sent her measurements via text and hadnt been fitted by Miyuki before. My wife said the dress was incredibly comfortable and surprisingly light, despite it having built-in structure and a small train. We one thousand percent recommend working with Miyuki. You wont regret it!!

I found Miyuki on Instagram while living overseas, and I knew I had to go see her! My fiancé was living on Oahu at the time, so when I went to visit him, I stopped by her shop. She was so kind and helped me decide on a custom gown. Because I was living overseas, I was worried about fittings since I knew I couldn’t keep traveling back and forth. About 4 months before the wedding, I had to travel back to the states due to a family emergency, and I found myself traveling through Hawaii for about 36 hours. She was able to see me last minute for a second fitting. I picked up the dress in August a few days before the wedding, and it was PERFECT! She is so kind, patient, and creative. Not only did she design the gown, she gave me advice on how to match my veil and my flower girl dresses. I loved my one-of-a-kind gown, and am forever grateful for Miyuki’s kindness and flexibility! She’s seriously amazing!

I had the most amazing time working with Miyuki. My husband and I planned an elopement due to covid. I had only a couple of weeks to find a dress off the rack that fit and was within my budget. Miyuki had several dresses that she could offer to me off the rack. The first one I tried on was an absolute perfect fit and I felt gorgeous. I knew that this was the dress for me. The only alteration that the dress needed was a shortening of the straps slightly. Miyuki worked with my work schedule to have the dress ready for our wedding. I cannot recommend Miyuki Liem Bridal enough! Very professional, thoughtful, caring and willing to accommodate. Miyuki designs all of her dresses herself and is an artful seamstress. I am very grateful to have found Miyukis dresses!

I would definitely recommend Miyuki to anyone that wants their dream gown, not just for weddings, but for any occasion! Miyuki has years of experience and has worked in the Singapore wedding industry! She does a great job explaining the types of materials, cost, and what will flatter your body type. She is experienced, knowledgeable, and lovely to work with :) Shes very communicative as well, and would text me to come in for fittings and remind me to bring my heels for proper length measurements.I came to Miyuki on 8/24/19 with an idea for a custom cheongsam for the Miss Chinatown Pageant, and she gladly accepted! Typically, custom cheongsams can take months to make but Miyuki finished by the beginning of October, just in time for my pageant.I had a vague concept in mind, but Miyuki did almost all of the work making my vision come to life. Im glad I was able to make my final appearance as Miss Hawaii Chinese 2019 in a custom cheongsam made by her!

We celebrated a destination wedding on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii in February 2020 and I had the great fortune to work with Myuki Liem as my wedding gown designer and dressmaker. She was referred to me by a family member who also works in the tightly knitted wedding vendor community in Honolulu, Hawaii. Miyuki had made this family members wedding dress as well.I must be honest, initially I had some reservations as my wedding planner said that with a destination wedding and the relatively short turn around time that I would be better off buying an off the shelf dress from a retailer on the mainland or in my hometown.My first visit to Miyuki’s showroom was in November and my wedding was in February. It was a tight turn around time. I am so glad that I trusted my gut. I absolutely loved my wedding dress and I appreciated working with Miyuki in particular. I knew that I was on the right track when, I left a dress fitting with Miyuki and my 12-year-old daughter remarked that she wanted the dress preserved so that she could wear it when she eventually gets married. This is unusual for my daughter as we have a very different clothing esthetic.Miyuki is a tremendous dressmaker, but she is also a visionary who goes beyond the confines of just making a dress. I was an older bride and it was important to me that my gown looked good but also age and venue appropriate. It was an elegant outdoor wedding. Miyuki helped me to imagine a style and unique elements for the dress that would work best for me.She has helped me in so many ways that go beyond just sewing a dress … including referring me to a great place to get a manicure locally to advice on how to trim inches off my torso (including eating less ramen), she helped me decide on jewelry to wear with the wedding dress, what type of Haku (traditional flower crown) to wear or not wear, and she also steered me in the right direction with body shaping undergarments. Miyuki made the sometimes-stressful experience of planning a destination wedding into a wonderful experience. I will always look back fondly at my wedding and I felt absolutely terrific in my wedding dress walking down the aisle.From start to finish working with Miyuki on my wedding dress was an incredible experience. I have never had a dress made specifically for my body. Miyuki took a dozen measurements and sent me a beautiful sketch of a dress that went beyond my imagination. And what really made this an incredible experience was that Miyuiki was so patient with me. She never got angry at all the micro details or additional requests to alter the dress I had as we went along. The process was fun. It was so fun that I bought 2 custom made dresses. I bought a custom designed wedding dress and a dress for our out of towners reception.My daughter has asked me to have a dress made as well. Which we will one day do. I can see going to Miyuki to have a prom dress made for my daughter. I also plan on going back to Miyuki for gala dresses and custom-made dresses for other important occasions. It was that good of an experience.I have no reservations in recommending Myuki for her prompt and professional service, for the quality of her work or for her calmness and ease of mind that she passed on to me when I worked with her.

Where to begin?! My husband and I had to postpone our big Hawaii wedding until next year but we decided to do a small wedding with just family on our date. I didn’t have a dress but I knew what I wanted. I also went to fashion school for 4 years so I’m a bit picky, and little crazy, when it comes to design details and quality. I came to Miyuki in a panic trying to see if she could alter a size 10 dress (that I found online) to fit me. She replied that she could but it would be super expensive when she could just MAKE the entire dress for me! I could’ve cried. I went to meet with her and she worked with me and designed my dream dress. Not only is the dress EVERYTHING I COULD’VE WANTED, but working with Miyuki was such a dream. She is so detail-oriented and she knows what she’s doing. Her fabrics are incredible and she makes sure the dress is perfectly made for your body. AND, her prices are so reasonable. I would 1000000% recommend getting a custom dress from her. She made all of my dreams come true. The bridal designer of my dreams!!

Miyuki is amazing! I first found her on Instagram during our lockdown in Hawaii. I wanted to support local and saw that she was accepting dress orders. I kept in contact with her on dates to come in and look at dresses for my wedding. It took time because the state wasn’t fully open, but Miyuki was open to days and time of when to come in. When I finally came in, I went with my sister, mom and myself. Everything was clean & she had her dresses on display. I was able to custom my dress based on what she had and in a sense designed my dress!We had a few fittings & everything worked out! She kept in contact with me through instagram & was so flexible in my schedule changes. She definitely made the dress process smooth & very confident feeling in what I would be receiving.Totally a visionary of wedding design! Thank you Miyuki so much! My friends and family, near and far definitely LOVED my dress & thought it was BEAUTIFUL. I loved wearing it, especially with my cape! Cant wait to get my dress preserved!

Miyuki made my experience the GREATEST. I went in three weeks before my wedding and she was able to pull it off a week before my wedding and it was perfect!!! Miyuki is soo easy to work with and the sweetest person on Earth. Thank you soooo much for bringing my vision to life.❤️

I was in need of a quick turnaround time for my wedding dress. I had tried on several dresses at other dress shops and none fit what I was looking for, a BOHO type dress. I found a picture of what I wanted and found Miyuki on line, made an appointment and met her at her shop. She had a dress similar to my vision, but not quite, but she said she could make one close to the picture I showed her. And so she did. At the first fitting when she started to construct the dress, it was indeed the dress of my dreams. It was perfect. When I tried the finished dress on at her shop, I was nearly in tears because it was so beautiful. She is a miracle worker. I continue to get compliments from people who attended my wedding on what a spectacular dress it was. I will be forever grateful. And the best part is, my daughter wants to wear my dress when she gets married! So Miyuki made a family heirloom! Thank you so much.

I stumbled on Miyukis website by accident - it was one of few places that were open on the island. I knew that finding a dress in the certain amount of time I had was a long shot (I visited her on Aug. 3rd and was getting married Aug. 8th). But you never know until you try right?Her place is located in a high rise business building. We parked in the parking garage underneath because she validates! Her studio is small and quaint. She has all the dresses on a rack to the left when you enter the room. The room is cozy w/ seating on the right for people to sit and watch you try on dresses across from the little dressing area in the corner that is separated by a curtain. She had a couple for me to try on and I ended up picking the first dress I tried. We learned that she makes all her dresses from scratch and that each dress is one of a kind! Her artwork is beautiful too as she showed me some of her sketches. Truly talented. Her prices are fair and shes willing to work with your budget. If I had more time, I wouldve had her sketch / make my perfect dress for me. She does her own alterations and she was able to complete mine in 3 days! She also made a mask for me out of the materials that she took out of the dress!! It made great pictures!Miyuki is an absolute dream to work with. Extremely nice and communicative. Im so happy I found her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dress for their special day.Thank you Miyuki - I felt and looked amazing because of your work!

I am so thankful I found Miyuki! My original dress was a vintage find, but when I saw Miyukis dresses I just had to see what she was all about. I was blown away that she creates every piece from start to finish. I am a big advocate of slow fashion and handmade clothing. To know who was making my dress made it even more special. She put so much care and hours of work into the details. Miyukis impeccable style and professionalism show in all her work. We had multiple fittings to make sure the dress fit just right for the wedding day. I couldnt have asked for a more beautiful dress made by a talented, sweet and caring artist.

Working with Miyuki was a dream come true! I researched wedding dresses for months and visited 4 or 5 different bridal shops before going to Miyuki’s studio. I just couldn’t find anything I loved until I Miyuki’s designs. Though she has a smaller inventory than other larger bridal shops, every dress was a masterpiece! I fell in love with her style and knew that I wanted to buy my dress from her. I felt an instant connection with Miyuki as well as her designs. The dress I initially wanted was out of my budget (I normally wouldn’t recommend trying on a dress out of your budget), but she worked with me so that I could have the dress I wanted within my budget! She was so flexible with my budget and the designs I wanted throughout the whole process, was so patient with me, and was so pleasant and easy to work with!! Though I would not normally recommend trying on dresses that are out of your budget, if you find that you love her style,, I would highly consider working with her on creating a dress within your budget. She will be more than happy to work with you! And though the dress that we created was not the same as what I originally tried on, it was still so beautiful, custom-made, and within my budget!! Miyuki is such a wonderful person!! I would highly highly recommend her!!

Miyuki is awesome ! She is so talented and made my wedding dress dreams come true! Her attention to detail was great! I had never tried a wedding dress on the first time I met with her. I actually didn’t know I was going to plan my ideal wedding dress that day. She was so patient and helped me find just what I was looking for. Miyuki certainly made my wedding dress shopping experience enjoyable, comfortable, and very stress free. I thought the process was great. After trying on a couple of her designs I had an idea of what I wanted my dress to be/ look like and right there on the spot Miyuki drew a sketch of all the best parts that I liked from all the dress I tried on. She listen to me and what came from that was magic! It was so cool to see the dress I wanted! I went home to think about it and let me tell you no other dress ever matched up! My husband and I Planned on getting married this past June, which just so happened to be prime time Covid season. Miyuki always accommodated me for my fittings even when we had to wear mask and social distance. Her dress really made my day just as special as I hoped it would be. And even though my wedding wasn’t quite like we originally planned it all worked out perfectly. Thank you Miyuki! I truly love the dress and you were so great to work with! I would a hundred times recommend her services! You won’t be disappointed!

Miyuki made me two beautiful custom pieces. I met with her at her lovely studio and tried on a few of her things to get an idea of what I wanted. She then drew a sketch to make sure my wishes were clear. She made me a beautiful top and stunning dress with custom colors and fabrics. Miyuki also sent me photo updates of how the pieces were coming along, which helped me stay engaged in the production process. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Miyuki Liem is a wonderful designer and a joy to work with. She helped create a bridal cape that worked with my wedding dress and brought my wedding dream to life! I wish I had found her before buying my dress because she had so many beautiful dresses in her show room. She also does perfect alterations. I highly recommend her for any work you might need for your wedding.

We found Miyuki when looking for someone to make alterations to my wedding dress. She was quick and efficient. We even had her make alterations to my daughters flower girl dress. Within talking to her she offered to custom make my daughter a dress to match my wedding dress. It was absolutely beautiful! We would highly recommend her for whatever it is you need!

Miyuki is such an amazing person!!! She designs and creates so many different things. I found her last year as I was getting my hair and make up done at WhiteHot. Daisy put me in contact with her and I’m so glad she did. I’m currently the reigning Miss Hawai’i Chinese 1st Princess and have to wear Cheong Sam (traditional Chinese gown) to majority of my appearances. I wanted several modern ones made and Miyuki excelled my expectations. I told her the ideas I had for both Cheong sams and she sketched it out even before I got there! It was everything I wanted. I provided her with my budget for both dresses and she was was and catered to my budget. I provided her with my own fabric because there were certain colors I wanted. She was very helpful in guiding me to which I should purchase. After my gowns were sewn, i came in for my fittings and she was very meticulous and listened to any adjustments that I wanted. Both my gowns came out AMAZING. She added flower accents on my first and hand stitched lace all over my second one. I’m so happy I came across her! She is such an amazing person.
