Everyone here was very helpful and kind when we came in. My wife and I are from San Antonio, TX and they made us feel right at home w/ their hospitality. I want to point out that the lady that greeted us at the door, went out of her way to help us find our way around campus. We left the store and sat underneath the tree to figure out where to go when she came out w/ a map and walked over to help us. That was beyond nice and so sweet of her. I wish I got her name because that really meant a lot to us. Thank you again for making our experience so memorable!

The staff is friendly and its quite convenient (not as cheap as just renting books on Amazon though). Also has a good selection of University apparel!Be aware that phone data doesnt work well when youre inside.

Prices are higher than other stores, for office supplies and most of the textbooks. The exception I found is the more specialized tools/ supplies I need, especially for art supplies. Significantly cheaper than any other art/craft store on the island, and comparable or better than ordering online. A 30x40 canvas is $30, and the cheapest I found at the other local stores is $70. Unfortunately, they consistently run out of these supplies that are required for classes, and are difficult to find, and take 2+ weeks to reorder.

Convenient for campus living, they have some cute boutique items in the back. Textbooks are generally more expensive than online (although theyre available in-store year-round). I find its easiest to use the UHM bookstore textbook page to compare prices, then reserve and pick up any books I need.

Good shop for some Hawaii gear. Money supports the school directly. Just make sure your security tags get removed - I now own a pair of socks I cannot wear. Looks like I get to go back, probably not good for my wallet.

Great university! I love how easy it is to get scholarship and research funding in here. My professors and advisors were very nice and helpful. There are a lot of free giveaways too, every time they have events. The only thing though is that I dont think student involvement is a big thing here. They have RIOs, but their requirements for a student organization is very lenient. Students for the most part are not as proactive when it comes to involvement in student organizations. I guess everyone is busy studying, but still, in my previous university, students in general were more active in terms of student organizations and community service. But overall, great school! I love that this campus offers a ton of services to help students in their college life-- Free Counseling, Legal services, Campus Security escort service every night, Campus Security trainings (life-saving, emergency training for calamities or for situations involving violence, etc.), great perks during Finals Week, movie nights on Fridays, etc. I feel like a lot of things are free here!

Move in day and the lines were very manageable. Not easy to pull off. Good selection of clothing and school supplies.

I found what I came for with the courteous and efficient help of 2 employees.

Lots of variety, huge place - you can even get tech support for your Macs! People are friendly and are willing to help. Sometimes hard to find/under-staffed.

They had a year end sale this semester and was pretty good

Hard to find, no students even seem to know where it is located. Parking lot is close, but how do you actually get to the darn thing? Once you locate this mystical place it is a treasure trove.

Good places for college students to get their supplies! Even clothes/bag/shoes and decorations for dorm. The only bad thing is the waiting line, because it tend to be long. Lots of tourists visit to get UH Merch. Lol

The UH book store is pretty big, and has most essentials for class and college living. That being said, if you cant afford the apparel dont worry. Walmart has cuter, cheaper stuff.

Very very expensive in everything....(of course, its Hawaiiiiii..) very disordered in pretty much in everything. MAKE SURE you scan the item for the CURRENT PRICE...they all are out of date and you will pay more.

This place has all sorts of goods that you can buy from a university store. Starting from clothing items like tshirts, jackets, hats to notebooks, phone chargers, water bottles -- everything is available with multiple designs and colors. Things are well made and are on the expensive side.

All things are over priced. Some items like UH sweatshirts and t-shirts of same quality can be purchased at a different store that carries these types.

You can literally buy anything here. Food, clothes, laptops, books, utensils, bags, hydroflasks you name it.Just be aware that the price are expensive, but thats any university bookstore.Theres usually always a line to checkout, and they dont have plastics bags. So bring your own or buy one. 10/10 use every semester lol.

The workers are friendly but the textbook section is constantly closed for sorting. I understand that students browsing the books is an inconvenience to the bookstore staff but its a shame students cant browse the textbooks while they are building their class schedule. Ive never seen this at another university bookstore.

The general public can also go inside for shopping.Of course, you can buy goods with the UH logo that you cant buy in Japan, and sell everything from T-shirts to mugs. UH goods are sometimes sold at souvenir shops in Don Quijote and Waikiki, but if youre looking for an assortment, theres no mistake in going there.If you have time, you can enjoy a little campus life at Starbucks on campus.Since it is a university, the closing time may be earlier than usual. We recommend that you go around noon as much as possible.

It is a store for college students, but there are a lot of college goods and souvenirs. Moreover, it is cheaper than the souvenir shops in the neighborhood.For students, backpacks and water bottles (including the now-known HydroFlask), rare stationery, and even iPads are cheap.

I dont know the parking system, and when I come back, I see a yellow envelope. Some $ 40 billing!When I asked a passing student, there was a secretariat in the basement of the building in front, so go there.He wrote his ID and remorse in English, and he said he was free because he was the first offender.Im glad I honestly apologized.There is no buckle! ️

There seem to be many things that can only be bought here, and there were many ordinary customers who bought souvenirs of university goods.

I went for a rental bicycle with my 6th grade son. Its a university on the slope, so Im tired, but I feel refreshed. However, hoodies and T-shirts are also sold at Wal-Mart in Ala Moana and at shops in the airport. I think there was a subtle difference in prices.
