Coming from Florida, this target is actually very nice. Its very compact but everything is neat. The grocery store is almost in the entire 3rd floor! One thing I appreciate is that they have no plastic bags on the self-checkout counter. Very different feel from US mainland stores.

I called not once not twice but 5 TIMES to see if the product I needed for was at their store and the phone hung up each and every time at different points of the greeting and holding ring.Target West Honolulu answered within 10 minutes and double checked if they had the thing I needed that night in stock (it wasn’t at their store). And referred me to Ala Moana because her system said they possibly had it but advised to call ahead. I live in Mililani so I wanted to call before driving 30 minutes to Town. But they have lost my business at Ala Moana to be hung up on deliberately is so rude. ON top of the fact that the store is RIDICULOUSLY PACKED and busy every time I’ve gone and there’s barely any customer service. (I made the calls around 8:00 PM 10/21/2021)

The staff were very young but super friendly and efficient. It was disappointing that so much of the bedding was sold out due to it being the start of school at U of Hawaii... Not exactly something that could not be anticipated.

Target sometimes is good. When it has the merchandise you want on the floor or in the back. Website for Target Ala Moana and Target Kailua are not updated. They say the merchandise you want is in stock. But, You go to the store or call the store. You find out, it is Out of Stock. Its been like this for weeks. Called again and they still OUT OF STOCK and now is DISCONTINUED . But, they still have it on their website.

Target is my 2nd favorite store the staff there are super friendly and care about youif you want to save money get target circle and when you scan your receipt you can get earnings and add offers on your favorite items

Staff were so friendly despite it being crowded. They also take Covid-19 seriously and enforce mandates such as mask and 6 ft apart to the best of their ability.

Target Ala Moana staff are wonderful! Very friendly and courteous. I regularly order online and then do pick-up. Staff dont leave you waiting, and make sure to check if you have been helped.

LOVE this mid-size Target (larger than a Target Mini but smaller than huge Targets you find in the suburbs). Great location being part of the nicest shopping mall in Hawaii, Target is a great addition to Ala Moana Mall. Fair to great prices in combination with CLEAN/newer stores AND friendly staff/convenient/easy return policy (especially if you paid with your RedCard). For example, a big plastic tub (larger than the size of a shoe box) of organic spinach was $6.99, while a smaller tub of the same thing at Foodland a few minutes away (also at the mall) was on sale for $9! Glad theres a Target!

I was a little confused as to how I was going to use my birthday coupon but there were several customer service people around that were extremely helpful and came to my assistance. I love it!

My car has been broken into 3 times over the past year whilst shopping at this Target…so BE PREPARED—your car will probably be broken into here. Target does nothing about security. The security cameras in the garage do not work. Also, this Target is rarely stocked. The escalators are often broken, creating a massive line for the elevators. I only go when absolutely necessary & I never drive there anymore….as it’s guaranteed, my car will be broken into yet again.

Location is easy to find, friendly & helpful staff. Great place for tourist and visitors to find snacks & gifts. Two levels of shopping with various departments like clothing, groceries, beauty and more.

We were finally able to go to the Ala Moana Target store. We walked around a lot to look at items we were shopping for and just to look around. Fortunately, it wasnt as busy like the other Target stores so we were able to browse and shop without having to dodge and go around people.The workers were helpful, and if they didnt know, they asked another employee and got back to us.Theres a lot of self checkouts, so its convenient if youre just picking up a few items. You can scan your own gift cards when you earn Target Gift Cards for certain offers. You can also scan your cartwheel offers which helps save you a bit more!

Probably my new favorite place :) The staff here were so nice and even put up with our New Zealand accent haha. You can shop for your groceries, buy your alcohol and new clothes ALL in the one location. I think that the alcohol is CHEAPER than a duty free store, so keep that in mind. There is loads of things to buy here and not badly priced either.

Jimmy was great helping me, he saw the line was long and assisted me, while talking story with me. It made me feel like a human and a valued customer.

My roommate and I are freshmans here and were buying a mini fridge, we thought we could take it on the bus and when we found out we couldn’t, Peter paid for an UBERXL and carried our fridge to the car!!! Such a life saver and he didn’t have to!

For a retailer, their staff is fairly spot on in terms of friendliness, professionalism, and overall appearance. The selection of items is pretty much what youd want; how often do any of us go into Target and not get anything, or in contrast, how often do we go into Target intending to buy 1 thing and walking out with 4? Great place to shop and get things done.

Consistently aggressive pricing, but often out-of-stock on key items. Most employees are quite willing to assist, but beware of Monday afternoons - the food, pharmacy, and household cleaning sections are almost impossible to navigate due to large pallets being used to refill empty shelves (perhaps this could be done during night-time hours).

Great store. Just need to be replenished more often lots of empty shelf’s.

Nice multilevel store, which has a Starbucks and a Longs Drugs.

The aisles are small at this location, and the layout is obviously different than most targets. However, its a beautifully designed store with lots of selection. Customer service is friendly and there are plenty of self check out stations. We brought our own bags, but they have small ones available for purchase ($1.99).There is a lot of parking available. There is also a Starbucks inside.

Giving a 5 star review. Not for the prices or the quality (which is there too), but for the sheer helpfulness of the staff. I had been there yesterday- 20/06/21. We had been traveling a while & I was exhausted. My daughter and I finished our shopping and were on our way out. I booked a Lyft and tried to take my trolly out(not being from around here, I didnt know I couldnt) and the trolly wouldnt budge. I had a full trolly so couldnt just pick up the bags and walk out. We just stood around waiting just near the target exit when this curly haired stocky guy( unfortunately, I was so stressed I didnt even get his name) came up to us & helped us take the trolly out- which was nice. The Lyft got cancelled 3 times after showing looking for drivers.( I guess it being a Sunday and very busy day) This guy patiently stood with us & told us no to worry, he was at the end of his shift and would wait. It took us a while to manage to get the cab- he could see that we kept trying & even gave us the no of a local taxi company- they didnt pick up too( Gremlins at work!) Finally, when our Lyft was on its way, he asked if he could put our bags down & leave. I was Ultra grateful to him in anycase. I didnt have any small currency with me & told him that I couldnt tip him. He smiled at me and told me that I didnt have to tip him. The patience & graciousness with which he dealt with us made me get a feel of the people of Hawaii(my first visit) .My review of this Target is in a large part based on its staff.

I get an error message that the app cannot be installed on my Android phone, so I cannot do curbside pickup, which is a real bother as I purchased heavy items and it would have been nice if they were put into my car instead of going in the store and wheeling them out.

The store is organized and clean all the times I go. The persennel working at the store are always polite and try to help you. The vegetables looks good and I can find what i need. Target carries a lot of Vegan choices too.The store has cute clothes and items for the house. Mostly I feel safe during the pandemic to shop there because they are constantly cleaning and make sure people keep 6 feet distances and wear a mask. Thanks for working hard on keeping us safe.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Every time I come in I am greeted with a friendly middle aged woman with black and purple hair. Super kind. I also was asking one staff member where cleaning supplies were at, and they directed me there without any hesitation. Love shopping there. Plus they have the best priced Simply Lemonade juices on the island.

This place is huge and sells all basic necessities you might have. They have a great collection of clothes, electronic goods and groceries. The fresh green produce is not too plentiful. The staff is friendly and the place stays open even when most of the stores in Alabama Moana is closed.

Oh my GOD this place was hard to find. Signage is terrible. The map at the mall doesnt even help. But fine once you finally walk around the whole mall and find it.

I love Target but this store is not laid out very well.

Its a new store and so its clean and sanitized.They carry a great deal of novelty items, from many different countries.

Great store with great selection. It does get pretty busy at times. There is always parking available. Employees are very friendly and willing to help. Location within the Ala Moana mall is quite convenient. Driving there can be a bother with typical town traffic.

Love all the holiday decor products. Even in the dollar section. I can’t help but buy even a couple items. Love how clean and organized the store is. And the reps are really helpful when looking for anything.

This store is such an amazing treat, after shopping at some of their competitors ~cough~Wal-Mart. So bright, clean, organized, stocked shelves, great sales, BUT the reason why I dont mind spending a few cents more? The wonderful staff! They treat you like they are happy you are there, greet you when you enter, their interaction with each other while working makes me smile, they ask if they can help you find anything, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I spend hours there just enjoying the entire experience! Nice clean bathrooms, too. Tonite my cashiers name was Zach, so courteous, went above and beyond to make me feel he appreciated my business and wanted to return. Not like ~cough~ their competition, who hate customers! Target, especially the staff, make it my favorite place to shop on this overpriced, less than friendly, island.

Good prices for the area honestly. Much more affordable than any Safeway. They have a large wine selection but some of the produce can be hit or miss on availability.

Had everything we needed. Your associates was helpful and efficient. Your prices was reasonable.

Good snacks, good place to get things needed

The price is often better at Target than other stores, even compared to online. The store is clean, and feels safe, which is important to me because I have kids.

Drive by service at Target was fast. By the time I parked and let then know via the app. It took no longer than about a minute til they were at my door. Employee was friendly also.

My 92 year old mother who can barely walk needed to use the restroom. It was closed, but the workers were rude and lack communication skills.

Bought a defective TV from them. They offered me no help nor a refund and were incredibly condescending and rude to me. I tried very hard to not give my frustration from the situation to the worker, but did not receive that same treatment in return. Would not recommend this location for any electronic needs or services.

I like the product selection, store cleanliness, brands, and services far more than other stores.

Target has a great system with online order pick up. At first, the long line of people was a bit intimidating. However, the target workers were very efficient and the line moved quickly. I was able to grab my online order AND purchase a few other things at the same time. The target staff was also well-informed and knew what they were doing when I asked about about a special deal going on, and even when I requested gift receipts for my items. I would definitely recommend ordering with Target!

I felt safe because the store was uncrowded and staff were helpful. Also, it was SO helpful that Target gives the aisle location for items so I dont have to guess where to find things. This means that I as a vulnerable senior, dont have to spend time searching for the items I want to buy so I cut down on the time I spend in the store. Also I so appreciate that Target allows me to use online pricing when I pay for an item.

Target is truly the one stop shop for all your household needs. they offer a wide variety of grocery and other food products to kitchen utility items as well as the largest selection of natural beauty products offered at any of the main grocery chains on the entire island. their prices as well as the quality of the goods they offer are top-notch, especially in comparison to other retail chains. Within each Target store there are various boutique style options for ready made drinks & quick freshly made snacks. Usually a Starbucks cafe & a pizza hut express are located within each store.Each local Target store has a unique section handmade local products that appeal to residence as well as tourists. Other sections within each Target store include electronics womens and mens and and childrens apparel, school & office needs, stationery, party and gift supplies, toys and as well as outdoor furniture & a large selection of decor & seasonal items.

Pick up easy but do not offer a bag for multiple items. Confusing when pick up items are combined with in store purchase items. Better packaging would make continued shopping much easier.

Target is so nice and clean. Normally I go to the Ala Moana location. Staff are very helpful. I like their selections also.

Thoroughly impressed with the Customer Care at this location.I wanted to purchase something I found online and it was located at this branch. When I went in to purchase - they did not have the item. It was located in the warehouse and I was told the item will be in the store later that day. Received a phone call and picked up the item 4 hours later. Shop with confidence at this location!Make sure you see Soul when you are in the store - he is the best associate.

Items needed was available and easy to find. Returned later that same day to purchase more things and was very happy to find everything I needed! Awesome service upon check out too. ;)

The people are great and the selection is as well. Plus my pharmacy is in the store also.

Its clean and sanitized but often you see people not wearing there mask property and some employees dont care. Some employees also dont wear there mask property (nose exposed usually).

Excellent mall. Beautiful decorated, spacious, and enormous!!!!!!!

Good ol Target. Found just the things I was looking for & there are lots of other items to tempt you into getting more. The Ala Moana Targets street level entrance is to the escalators going up & it is counted as a 1st floor. There are 2 more floors for actual shopping. The upper floors connect to the rest of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The escalators have shopping cart lifts.

One of their floor workers was restocking shelves with no mask. Not even a half hearted mouth cover. Literally bare face. This location services way too many people to be so lax with safety measures.

I waited over 15 minute when i could see my stuff. Only one target worker when there was about 6 cars waiting. As this worker approached my vehicle i put my phone up to my closed window with my order number. Instead of the worker putting my stuff in my open trunk, he made me roll down my window and he started handing my stuff one by one thru my open window. My 1st and last time ill be doing a drive in pick up. You folks should be shutdown for covid violations.

Clean and friendly...I can literally find prices and deals straight from the app. If they dont have it in stock... they can find out if they have it in another location and inform me when itll arrive if its in stock. If its on sale... the price stays the same even if the sale is over after it arrives.

The chair I purchased did not work out so I needed to return it. The return was as simple as it could possibly be considering it was a rocker recliner! Wonderful service both with the delivery and the return!

Well stocked store.. Friendly and helpful staff..Very clean.. Upon every check out at the self check out registers.. someone was there to wipe it down..When going down the escalator, an employee was also wiping down the hand rail..

This target is huge. It is very different from the ones in Australia. The range is mind boggling. It had multiple levels and the food area was so much fun to look at - and purchase from.Fresh food was nice & Fresh.We purchased giant chocolate bags of sweets we have trouble getting in Australia. Even with the exchange rate the way it is, they were still great Value. They had a great clothing range too. Harry Potter themed was a big hit with us.The only problem we encountered was that we had to search for the elevator as the escalators were having issues.The exit we chose only had self service, but there was a friendly human there to assist.Traveling tip - set yourself a budget before you go here or you will get to excited and want to buy everything 😊

Ive complained before, and it obviously didnt help. This Target is incredibly bad at keeping items in stock. Every time I go I have to leave at least 3 or 4 items on my shopping list because they are unavailable. This happened pre-COVID too! You need to do MUCH better!!
