By far the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. A few on Oahu are way overpriced. Vic has gotten me back on the road in less than a day on multiple occasions. Good man for sure and he sends me pictures as he works on the vehicle. Keeps me updated on the work progress and let’s me know anything he sees that may need to be fixed. Couldn’t rate him high enough.

He was super knowledgeable, pretty responsive, got the work done well and quick, even helped us out by telling us to order the part and advised us on which one! Would absolutely return.

Ive been coming to Mobotech for years. Victar, the owner, is always super helpful and straightforward with all of my repairs. He takes the time to explain the issues and provides solutions w reasonable pricing. The shop is a bit out of the way in the back alleys of Kalihi, but its totally worth it for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. Highly recommend!

Awesome service to finally fix a problem that even the dealers couldnt fix.

Took my toyota truck for gasket replacement and a/c work..they did a terrible job i got it back worst then when i took it in. Someone drop some silicone before putting my valve cover back on and by the time I came home it was leaking oil 10 time worst..they took apart my a/c unit and told me to come back when the parts arrive and it wasnt the right parts!...I called and texted numerous time to fix my truck with no response .I finally had to fix the problem myself . My a/c unit is still not fixed nunbelievable !!! This is my story dealing with Vic...Aloha!!!

Gave me a fair price for putting on a belt that broke, and checked to make sure the cause it broke wasnt something serious. I tried 1 mechanic chain-shop and 2 other privately owned nearby and they all charged FAR more than what it should cost to put on a simple belt. These guys are straightforward no bull and fair prices!!!

Out of a half dozen shops, Victor (Mobotech was still the highest rated on Yelp) was the only one who would see me, despite his crew’s busy schedule. I very rarely hand out a 5 star, but these guys were incredible. My repair may have taken a day or two longer than originally expected, but parts needed to be flown in from the mainland and I completely understand. Alan was especially helpful, and went way above and beyond the normal automotive repair customer service. I was using a 3rd party warranty for this repair and Alan took care of all the communication with them and made sure he got everything covered that he possibly could.I would highly recommend this shop to anyone on Oahu. They are extremely helpful I only had two days off and they stayed late Tuesday to fix my brakes. Add a 2 inch lift making the wrong ubolts work and put on my tires. They also fixed my leaking real seal. Excellent service will be recommending them!

Victar and the guys at Mobotech are top notch. Ive taken my Buick there a few times for minor and major work and they do a great job at a fair price. I sometimes go to a place near Waikiki for oil changes or minor repairs but always to Mobotech for important stuff. Your GPS will find them down the alley in the Kalihi neighborhood. When you get there youll see that the place is the real deal. 5 stars

Vic came thru at a time of need in which I had a power steering leak issue needing a high pressure line replaced. It was deemed an emergency and he was able to fit me in the very same day, issue was fixed for a fraction of what the dealership initially was charging. I highly recommend this place, Mahalo!

I did alot of research on the different auto mechanic shops in regards to parts and labor charges. Mobotechs reviews clearly was above the others. However, what really set their organization apart was the kindness and honesty they displayed. Me being stationed here for only a few months, was skeptical of all the rumors on how the locals take advantage of the military personnel because we have money but Vic was very respectful and honest about what was wrong with our vehicle and what it would cost to fix it. I brought the van in at around 0900 on Friday morning expecting to not have it back until late the following week, however Vic and his team worked tirelessly until around 1900 (they closed at 1700) and it was repaired that day! I was very impressed that I was able to get the van back that day just in time for the weekend. They even took the van and gave it a bath for me. Vic is the most honest, sincere, caring and more than fair individual that just so happens to be a mechanic too. Lol! I know what youre thinking; Fair? Honest? Caring? Whaaat? Are you kidding me? Theres no such thing as a honest mechanic. Well Im here to tell you there is. In this age of people trying to win one over the other at all cost just to make a buck, its so refreshing to have met Vic at Mobotech. When evaluating my car, he made sure to make videos documenting what needed to be fixed. He also gave me great advice on what he thought was most important be fixed first, since I had a fixed budget to work with. He gave me a written estimate and notified me when there were to be changes in the estimate due to unforseen circumstances, seeking my approval before proceeding. Ive worked with many mechanics throughout my life, and I can honestly say this has been my best experience yet! Mahalo Vic for all your aloha!!

These people seemed polite enough and i did read the other good reviews they received from other customers. so i decided to give them a try. i brought them an early model Lincoln that needed fairly routine repairs, like change the radiator and water pump and the coil springs on the suspension. when i picked up the car, not sure how they installed the springs, but it was so high that it looked like it was on stilts. they admitted there was a problem and i could bring it back at another time for them to fix it. so on the way home, the car started to overheat, which i thought was odd since they just changed the water pump and radiator. turns out they did not tighten the clamps on the radiator hoses and all the coolant leaked out on the freeway, going home. they also did something where the air conditioning and the heater would both run at the same time, canceling each other out. i have made numerous attempts to make appointment for them to take the car back to correct these things and they always say they are busy and for me to try back in a couple weeks. couple weeks later, same story. this has been going on for close to a year. some of the items could not wait and i had to take to other shops to correct their work. But the springs, so far, i cannot get another shop to attempt to fix that as new mechanics to that car are wary of what mobotech did and do not want to touch that. so the suspension is still abnormally high to the point, the alignment shop will not do an alignment as they say the car is unsafe with the way the springs are installed. so the car basically has sat unused while in my spare time, I try to find a shop that is willing to go and wipe mobotechs a-- to fix the botch job they did installing the coil springs for the suspension. luckily, i have other cars i can use until i come across a shop willing to try to figure out how to fix what they did. but no, i would not recommend them to anyone.

My son is stationed at Pearl Harbor and i sent his car over, it started having a brake problem . He took it to Midas and they threw a $ 1200 est. at him, so i searched the net and ran across Mobotech. i called and talked to Victor { owner } told him the deal...the next day my son { Cody } took his car to them and under $300 later had his problem fixed. Good to know there are honest Shops even far away from Kansas. Thanks Victor

Victor replaced my back end of the tailpipe from the Catalytic converter back for $400 and it still rattled bad install, he could’ve at least secured it better and fixed my O2 sensors for that price
